Had a great time!

I was there for business. I found the room to be very comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the various meal selections on the premises as well.

Great location and nice views with the Riverwalk outside. Walking distance to Channelside area/Aquarium, Publix. Several nice restaurants. Very nice lobby with lots of tables, and nice gym. The pool area looked inviting and well maintained though I did not use it. It was nice that it was connected to JW Marriott. It was clean.

Anchor and Brine is highly recommended.

The hotel location was perfect for attending a concert at Benchmark International, and for diniing at the many restaurants to choose from. I might also add, the views from our 24th floor room of the water was spectacular! The breakfast buffet greeting staff at the Riverwalk Terrace were extremely unprofessional, unqualified, and disrespectful to my spouse and me every morning. They continued to claim that there was a waiting list and that I needed a reservation, although there were dozens of tables unoccupied each morning. On the last morning of our stay, we were informed that there was a 25-minute wait for a table, but the guests who arrived before and after us were seated immediately. I was not happy and called them out on this, saying this was inappropriate, and after stating that we were hotel guests, a table magically opened up for us. The staff that runs the hostess desk at this restaurant needs more supervision and/or training about how hospitality actually works. I'm not sure if this was a lack of staffing or not, but this service issue should never occur at this level of lodging.

We received exceptional customer service from Olivia upon checking in. The room was spacious, and the pool was big with plenty of lounge chairs. The atmosphere at the hotel was overall very nice.

A beautiful hotel with nice restaurants, gorgeous open spaces on main level and a 3rd Floor Rooftop pool that is very large with lots of space for guests and a bar/food area that screams vacation! The gym is just outside the pool area and has good amount of treadmills and decent lifting equipment for a hotel (top 10%).

Amazing loved the option to use both pools . We ate at brine both nights the service from Lexi and Mount was impeccable and the food was the best!!

we thought the staff and all the people were great. But this hotel feels so overpriced for what you get. You can stay a 1.5 miles further away for half as much and get a room twice as big, and the room is far more interesting. Which is exactly what we did when we figured that out.

Our stay was pretty good. The hotel overall was nice. The bed was way too soft as well as the pillows. Generally when we stay at Marriott Hotels the beds are much more firm and comfortable.

They will charge you an extra 20-30% in fees for staying. They don’t make known until you arrive. Nice hotel and people. Would not recommend if you like knowing how much you’re going to pay. Probably will not use Marriott again.

In the heart of downtown Tampa. Plenty of food and drink options onsite the hotel. Only thing that can be an improvement, is the elevator situation. They have 6 elevators but only 2 work at a time. And when it was dying the busy times of the days, you’d sometimes wait 5-7 minutes for an elevator. Minor inconvenience for an overall great hotel.

Mold, doors would not open close dirty. we did not stay. Please refund. we went across the street where we were suppose to be booked and stayed the two nights. this hotel was cancelled

We always stay here for the Gasparilla Half Marathon. The staff is great! Room was super clean and we were able to check-in early and check-out late! We will come back in 2027 for the race. Perfect location!

Nice hotel, great location. Elevators came quick. Shower was awesome and room was clean. Food was excellent at the restaurants. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. Would not want to stay too many nights on that mattress. Gratuity charges are out of control. They charged a “service charge” after paying $100/person to stand and watch Gasparilla invasion at the pool. No “service” was provided and it was not disclosed when booking. That was disappointing.

Shower was either scalding hot or ice cold. No inbetween. Beds seemed old and were uneven to sleep on.

Can’t wait to stay again!

Room was ok mold and hair in shower, bathroom door doesn’t close all the way. Moldy vent in bath area( no fan in bathroom )No trashbags in the trash cans and patio was dirty. Terrible pillows! Needs to be upgraded .

We loved our experience at heat Marriott in Tampa on water Street. It’s a lovely hotel with verycomfortable beds, wonderful restaurants, great Wi-Fi great service, great amenities, cute boutiques, and it’s right across the street from the concert Arena. The staff is amazing and makes you feel very welcome. It’s also pet friendly, which is a bonus for us.

The front desk staff were amazing. They remembered my name and greeted me with warmth and energy every time they saw me.

Great location. Walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants, the river walk, and the arena. Plenty of seating at the pool. Stayed for 3 days pool was only packed on Saturday. Room was clean but not super modern especially the bathroom. Restaurants on site were average, but convenient if you don’t want to leave the property. Food was bland at the Mexican spot Lona for example, but bartender was awesome. Would eat off site for better options. JW Marriot is right across the street and connected by sky bridge so you can easily bounce between the two hotels for drinks etc. No issues with staff they were all friendly. Nice property overall mostly paying for convenience and location for what they charge here. Think overnight parking is $50 a night so would recommend using uber/lyft and walking when possible.

The location is lovely. Water street is very nice to walk. If you take it away from Riverwalk, you have restaurants and other retail really nearby. We went a couple of times to get a cappuccino and a pastry (croissant) to a French bakery (part of a restaurant, as well) named Boulon. Their cappuccinos are great. Water street is a perpendicular extension of Riverwalk. Great thing is that you don't have to take any transportation if you want to hang out by Riverwalk. And downtown is almost next door. There is also the Tram station across the main entrance of the hotel facilities. Like I said, location is fantastic. The hotel and its amenities are great. The service is impeccable. We loved the terrace bar, where we had dinner a couple of nights. Their mussels are amazing! I truly recommend you stay at Tampa Marriott Water Street!

The staff were excellent. They were very friendly and helpful; they even allowed us to check in a few hours early. The house keeping however, we’re extremely noisy around 8:00 am in the morning banging and pushing their cleaning carts around, and inadvertently waking us up. This went on for a good hour or more, so we were unable to get back to sleep. The ice maker was also broken, so we were running between floors trying to fill our ice bucket up. Overall 3/5.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent and location on the river walk was spectacular. Pool was great for all ages. I would recommend this property to any travelor. We were with our 5 year old grandson and the staff were so nice to him.

The hotel was amazing and we had a wonderful time. They charge a destination fee, but provide a true service compared to other hotels. The destination fee included a trip with a watertaxi or bike rentals. $30 off in one of the onsite restaurants including the JW across the street. They had great entertainment in the evening and a lot of guest enjoyed it. I also liked their water fill up station with different flavors and convenient store/ bakery/ coffee shop. The valet parking is $50 - this seems to be the going rate nowadays, but I heard a few guest that were surprised about that steep fee. There are parking garages near by, but we didn't check their prices and the hotel didn't provide alternatives to valet.

It was our first time staying in Tampa we live in St Pete and the staff the service the food. Everything has been exceptionally good.

From the entrance to the room, everything was fantastic. Very comfortable accommodations. Excellent bar downstairs!

Location location location

I went to a concert at the Amalie Arena, so the location was absolutely perfect. Check in was quick and easy, and the room was very nice. The only downside was the $50 fee for overnight valet parking. That is a pretty significant cost to park in addition to what was not a cheap hotel room. It wouldn't stop me from booking this hotel again in the future, but considering most guests are driving in, this should be built into the room rate so it's not a surprise when you get there to check in.

This hotel was not cheap but everything associated with it was high end. Rooms were perfect. Location can’t be beat. Bar/restaraunt on the water was relaxing. Highly recommend if you are looking for a luxury vacation location.

Great location by the harbor, for conventions, downtown, near restaurants, etc. parking wasn’t great. A block away and not convenient if it’s raining. The city trolley is right there as well so you can check out the aquarium and Ybor city with a 10-15 minute scenic ride on the trolley.

I had a great view and I spent much of my time in the room looking out at it. This hotel has a lot of charm though the coffee shop was rudimentary and finding simple things like coffee in the area was a challenge. Convenient to transport.

We loved the location, the Riverwalk Terrace restaurant, Lona‘s restaurant and especially enjoyed the pool. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place but the beds were not comfortable and hard. The wait times for the elevators were 15-20 minutes, up or down. Plus not all of them were working with an extremely high volume of guests due to an event at the convention center near by. Drinks and food were average. Although a convenient location to a number of things to do and see, we have stayed at nicer places for the price it cost us to stay here.

Very nice Hotel but our stay was a nightmare. A convention going on and hundreds of people blocking the elevators that only 1 of 6 was even working! I couldn’t even go down to the pool because would have been an hour or more to get back. Could not see an employee over the sea of people where the stairs were.

We had very high expectations for this hotel. However, on the first night we found a roach in our bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating but the hotel needs some upgrades and pest control services.

Don't bother buying the breakfast ahead of time, there are plenty of options on site that are cheaper and easier. If you bring a car, be aware it is $50/day for parking. Plenty of rideshare options and lots of stuff within walking distance.

Loved everything about this place but there was some sort of movie convention that had way too many unsupervised kids everywhere. Jerry at the pool was amazing. Evelyn at the Bon Voy desk was knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. The bar staff at Lona is first class!

Since I had paid extra for breakfast, I also had to ask where it was served, as there were multiple restaurants on-site. This would have been a great opportunity for the staff to share breakfast hours and locations so guests could plan their morning accordingly. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was seated and handed a menu with prices, but no one informed me that breakfast was a buffet or showed me where it was located. Additionally, the parking situation was a nightmare. We requested our vehicle 20 minutes before checkout, yet we still had to wait over an hour for it. Overall, the lack of communication and organization made for a frustrating stay. So happy I only spent the night. My room was pleasant!

Not what I expected from a Marriott. Complete Chaos from trying to get into hotel and leaving hotel. It took us 45 minutes just to get into circular drive to unload. So many cars were parked in all lanes, that you could not get into the place. It was complete chaos. Then upon leaving, customers were standing outside and in lobby complaining. It was taking 1-2 hours just to get your vehicles. Again total Chaos. Marriott’s management needs to do a better job. Totally unacceptable and not what I expected out of a higher priced hotel. I would not recipe d this hotel unless you were close enough to walk there and walk home.

The hotel was super close to the event that my Wife and I was attending.

My boyfriend and I had a beautiful Valentines Day at the Marriott. I have so many great things to say. The Customer Service from the staff was very nice, they were friendly and extremely accommodating. They upgraded us to a suite for the inconvenience of accidentally putting us in the wrong room which we really appreciated. Down to housekeeping they do a great job. We went to Anchor and Brine a restaurant conveniently attached to the hotel for appetizers and drinks upon arrival. We were able to take a quick Uber to our main dinner later on that evening. The pool was beautiful, clean and open until 10 PM which was so amazing. We took the water taxi tour the next day which was complementary because we stayed at the Marriott. There were just a lot of perks and the location was beyond compare. There were bike rentals and kayaks, shops, and endless dining options in the river walk. This is a waterfront hotel so if you enjoy the view of a waterfront, this is it.

This hotel is normally our favorite place to stay, especially if we have tickets at the Amalie Center, but there are a few things that were not good. One was the slow and lack of bartenders after the show, they should know to increase the number during that time. we were given a letter inviting us to have breakfast the next day for two and we thought this was included in the prize otherwise, why did they give us a letter but come to find out the maître d’ at the temporary restaurant didn’t know anything about it was gonna charge us $29 each so we went elsewhere. We couldn’t check out on the TV so we had to check out in person. Otherwise we always enjoy our stay there. Thanks.
