The Front desk staff are pleasant and courteous. The Bar and coffee bar is delicious and the bar stayed open late so we could watch the entire fight ..
- 4/5
Pool was closed, so that was a bummer.
- 3/5
Very outdated property that needs to be upgraded. Additionally, the room wasn’t overly clean and the common areas such as gym and public bathroom needed a deep clean. I definitely would not choose to stay at this location again.
- 5/5
We only stay overnight , staff very helpful, very clean and they have breakfast available
- 5/5
Very nice location with complimentary shuttle to local spots. Comfortable rooms .

Unfortunately this does not show what the brand of hotels “Sheraton” was known for. This property is outdated, smells, decor is old. Our room (which fee/night $350) was not something I would ever pay again. Room, not the cleanest -constant mosquitoes, flies and even a cockroach. The bathroom needs cleaning and redo. It was not a pleasant stay and I’m glad it was only 1 night.
- 5/5
The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk to the building maintenance went out of there way to help with anything we needed. The rooms were as shown in pictures and very comfortable. This is my husband's and mine hotel each time we go to Tampa (2x month).

Staff was good. But gave us no info about the amenities at the hotel. Had no idea when breakfast was, or restaurant open or bar open. Shuttle was great! Fernando was a great driver!

Shower had a black hair on the wall and was not clean. Streaks of water like walls weren't cleaned. Couldn't open slider for balcony. Was locked on bottom with screws.

Cleanliness., staff very friendly, food and drinks were delicious. Parking lot was easy to find parking. Would definitely stay here again. One elevator wasn't working, our shower had broken off of wall. They came and fixed it fast. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

The rooms were dated but clean. Hallways were never vacuumed and stained carpet all over. Needed some serious updating. Last night there had a group of teens that were unsupervised, loud, and kept slamming doors after 11:00. Called the from desk over 14 times and there was no answer. Travelled from the West coast and probably would never stay there again.
- 5/5
The breakfast buffet is excellent and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Very old and run down hotel. The rooms smell, ducks swimming in the pool with droppings everywhere. Loud because the room walls are paper thin. The sirens all night from the highway were awful. Doors slam hard which wakes you up. Only one place on the floor to get ice which was on the other side of the hotel. I tried to check in early but couldn’t. I even contacted the manager but never got a response back to see if we could check in early.

Clean and the personal is very nice

Old and dated. Double beds are full size and very small. Bath tubs are old and dated. The carpet in the rooms and hallways has a smell. Very disappointed.
- 3/5
The rooms and bathrooms need work. There weren't many options for food or drinks. The coffee tasted moldy ,I'm assuming from the machine. To spend $268 a night is crazy for what the place was like.

Good location, hotel lobby is updated but rooms are a bit outdated. Balconies need some repainting, bathroom was very nice and clean. Bed was comfy, tv sucked lol. Smart tv you can sign into Netflix or youtube. Many charging stations

The room was fine except for the fact that it didn't have any heat! And it took over an hour for my room to be ready, didn't get in room till after 6pm....

Where my son stayed to depart from MEPS. King suite allowed some privacy from lounge area at front of room. Rooms seemed updated. Bathroom nice with several convenience items: shower cap, mouth wash, cotton balls and swabs, emory board, shave cream, lotion. 2 free bottles of water, mini fridge, nice writing desk and plenty of seating for relaxing instead of using bed. Staff seemed nice. Housekeeping brought more pillows on request. Very nice. Wings from on site restaurant were really good - bleu cheese delicious. Price - 400 for one night for King 1 “bedroom” Suite. It was nice, but not luxury. Overlooked the roof. No balcony though the entire hotel seems to have them otherwise. No door on king bedroom area. As a result, television audio in the bed area and living area (with sleeper sofa) competed with one another. If someone sleeping out there it could be a problem. My daughter was sleeping on the fold out and complained about my television being too loud. The combo tub/shower didn’t function as a tub - no plug. Pillows were too soft to elevate head. Had to have housekeeping bring more. Room phone didn’t work to call front desk. Dedicated buttons did nothing. No directory provided in room, so had to call main number from cell. I guess the phone works for calls out but not what I would use it for. Its usefulness is in having the main areas (front desk, housekeeping, food service) of the hotel directly connected to the dedicated buttons on the hotel phone. Couldn’t order room service online as directed. Link through QR code worked but site wouldn’t allow the actual order unless you have the Marriott app. Had to go downstairs to order and wait. AC wasn’t great. Thermostat doesn’t indicate hot or cold - only red and blue “up and down” buttons to increase or decrease temp. Set at 60 and still not very cold. Was a colder day for Florida so it should have been easy to get the room cool, if desired. Closet with safe and fridge goes on with bathroom light - cannot turn it on an off on its own. Television console drawer kept opening on its own. Location not close to much. Near interstate which is good if you need that access.

When I arrived the staff were courteous and friendly. Everyone was polite and accommodating. However, my room was pretty gross. My bed had a long hair in the sheets which made me think it hadn't been cleaned, but what really gave it away was that there was still garbage in the bins in my room and the floors were very dirty. When I stepped into the bathroom, there was dust on the floor. It's a shame because otherwise, it was a pleasant stay. I'd definitely suggest they improve their housekeeping staff.

A manager needs to check the rooms for stuff like stains on walls, bad paint jobs, missing/broken vents and stains on furniture. Third world maids, as hard working as they are, have no standards that they notice things that are gross. No hard feelings but when the price is a small fortune it matters.
- 1/5
Had to switch our 1st room bc of a terrible odor. 2nd room didn’t smell any better. The bed was so hard we didn’t sleep all night. The room never went below 77°. We were sweating. We regretted not moving again but we were so exhausted & had a very early morning. We were sitting at a table in the dining area around dinner time & The bartender would not stop talking to us it was extremely annoying. We were dealing with an emotional situation & She just kept saying she can’t stop talking. It was very awkward. Unfortunately this was a hotel we had to stay at for a function so we couldn’t leave & stay somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for comfort.
- 5/5
La limpieza de primera, el personal muy atento y amable, tuvimos un problema menor con la habitación inicial y en segundos me hicieron un Transfer a una suite sin costo para mi, los choferes de bus muy amables en fin, una bonita estancia.
- 4/5
Construction outside unpleasant needs a bit of a facelift
- 3/5
Not too friendly the front desk guy at check in but at least it was fast. Its very outdated, ice machine in my floor wasn't working and they doing renovations. Also we forgot something and call to see if they can return our stuff they said they will call back with an answer and they never did.

Me and my kids checked in smoothly around 4pm. The property looks run down. The carpet looks dirty. Went to the room with food we bought on the way. When I was eating at the desk I saw a roach crawl by on it. It’s Florida, so I didn’t freak out. I went downstairs to get a drink and couldnt pay with Apple Pay due to reader not working. I had to walk back to my room to retrieve a credit card and return to the bar to pay. Went to the room and Tried to watch Netflix or YouTube and couldn’t get a network connection for the TV. I tried to contact the front desk and couldn’t. Phone wasn’t working. Found the phone was unplugged from the wall. Asked the front desk about the TV apps and was told the apps on the TV’s in the rooms don’t work. Left the hotel for a few hours and came back to have dinner at the restaurant. All the tables in the restaurant were dirty. There was one bartender working the bar and floor so service was slow. The food we ordered did not taste good. 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 burger. It was so bad we didn’t finish it and didn’t considered paying $15.99 for breakfast the next morning. I went to a gas station and got snacks for me and my kids. When I was getting ready for bed saw more roaches on the desk. They were nesting under the desk. It was late and I didn’t want to wake my kids up by switching rooms, so sleep was not good. I told my kids we were staying in a NICE hotel. I was wrong. I stayed here a few years ago and had a much better experience.
- 3/5
Hotel is outdated, old musty smell down the fourth floor and seems like employees are living there
- 1/5
The staff was very nice but the hotel just was dirty. We came two years ago and they were under construction and they’re still under construction. The rooms were old and outdated. There was terrible smell We had to switch to a room because the AC in our first room wasn’t working. The bathrooms were disgusting. There was fairly new tile on the floor, but in our bathroom, it was old tile in the shower tub area and it was just gross mildewy old. I’m just very disappointed for what I paid.
- 3/5
It wasn’t the best trip I had and the room was very small, ordered a club room I thought it was actually going to be inside the room, I thought it was a whole room I was going to stay at but the club room was something for everyone on the 5th floor to come in and chill. Wasn’t expecting that when I got there I thought it was going to be something private that I can annoy alone with my spouse, the bed sheets looked dirty as well I was going to report it but I was at the end of my stay and was going to the hard rock hotel for a much better experience!
- 4/5
I stayed here to go to a concert. It was awesome that the hotel offered free shuttle service to and from the concert. Pablo our driver took very good care of us making sure we got to and back to the hotel safely.
- 1/5
The room was dirty and staff unfriendly.
- 1/5
Upon checking in and paying for early check in, we walked into our room and people were still in there. We then got a new room and the air conditioning was broken, I asked for maintenance twice and nothing. When we finally got our next room, we noticed in the evening that the door was missing a chunk out of the bottom, the lock was broken on the front door, the lock was broken on the connecting room, the toilet overflowed twice. I have stayed there a few times before but never experienced this. It was a terrible birthday trip for my daughter.
- 2/5
Hotel is in horrible condition sliding glass doors barely work AC was working properly, broken glass in hall ways just overall rough
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here numerous times in the past it’s a nice hotel and staff is great
- 2/5
Room smelled like mildew
- 5/5
Everything was great, except there was no hot water in the shower. I was unable to take a shower on my day departure. I did not have time to notify the desk.
- 1/5
I felt unsafe in the crime ridden area, there was no food anywhere and bed bugs. Pool was not in working order and closed. I want a total refund on my stay. I was rudely turned away and lied to by reception when I had a booking problem upon check in. This trip was a utter disaster. James 516-351-1193

Quiet, friendly staff works well for an event nearby
- 5/5
Limited trash can in room. Rust in leaky tub. Not enough towels in rooms
- 5/5
Very clean! Staff was great! Highly recommend!
- 3/5
Sink in bathroom would not drain. Also thought it was strange being in a king suite with no mini fridge.
- 4/5
No breakfast, no room service, no soap and when called the receptionist, no one is available to bring it to my room
- 4/5
The people in rooms near ours was smoking marijuana on their balcony and the smoke is pulled into our room by the air conditioner. We will not be staying there again due to the smoke being so strong and we both have jobs where we get tested for drugs screening.
- 1/5
broken bath no clean for the price they ask broken ice machine .
- 5/5
Loved the balcony
- 1/5
I will never stay here again. Our first room smelled so strongly of mold and paint thinner, do we requested a change. This was easy enough and while still musty, the chemical smell was gone. We had a balcony with a sliding door that didn’t close or lock. (See picture) so we heard the highway all night. Additionally the balcony connected to the one next door with no privacy or security partition, especially problematic with a non locking door! (See photo). One of the beds was off the frame with supports sticking out (see photos) and they could not be pushed in. My child hit their foot getting into bed resulting in a bruise and cut. Finally, upon arrival the room wasn’t fully cleaned with trash still in the cans, toiletries not restocked and the carpet obviously not vacuumed. Stay away. We would have changed hotels but were past the point of getting a refund
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
I would like they have a restaurant who open from 12 pm because I was hungry a 1 pm they told me the restaurant is open at 3 pm. So bad.Every thing is fine ,the front desk is good
- 5/5
Well priced & would have no problem staying here again. No complaints. The only issue I encountered was upon arriving to room the ac did not seem to be functioning, after turning the thermostat off for a few minutes and turning back on it started working thankfully. Besides that no issues. The Starbucks coffee in room was great. Thank you for the no issue stay!
- 5/5
So much to offer at that price! Staff was great! Surprised at good food was!
- 4/5
Everything was good. The only upset was we asked for our room to be cleaned while we were away for the day. No cleaning upon returning so we asked again before leaving in the afternoon. Came back. Not clean.
- 1/5
The place smelled and was humid and musty. The room was dirty the show still had hairs all in the corners the shampoo bottles have been attempted to be taped to the wall the wall paper was peeling back. You felt wet in bed because of the humid musty atmosphere. Everything was old and outdated the light switchers have all turned yellow they where so old, there was a lady’s old fingernail on the floor of the room this should be a embarrassing place for Sheraton I expected more from a name like that. I could not wait to leave,

On top of that, we were on the 5th floor which has an exclusive lounge for those who stay on the 5th floor. They do a free continental breakfast there- however, our room keys (that worked for our door) would not work to get us in the 5th floor lounge/snack & breakfast room, so we missed out on that benefit but sure paid a hefty price to stay at this hotel for one night. My husband went down to the front desk where he expressed our dissatisfaction in our stay and he was told we would be awarded points to our Bonifay account. I actually booked with Expedia and not Bonifay- when I looked at my account, I have been awarded NO points. Shocker! The hotel is in a good location and right off of i75.
- 5/5
It was good

AC super loud Set on 60 no where that in temp Bathroom was disgustingly dirty Shower was not clean Towels had stains on them NO shampoo only 2 pump bottles of conditioner and an empty shampoo holder White dust on everything No tv remote Phone not working Furniture was old, chipped Room/hotel smelled Front desk never answered phone so had to go down there to complain about the bathroom being locked Floor doesn’t even look like it’s been vacuumed Overpriced Front desk was VERY slow when checking in Overall a very poor experience and I will not be back or stay at another Sheritan

the place is dated , not a fan of carpet in the rooms

- 5/5
Nice and quiet and clean
- 5/5
Very clean and wonderful employees. Nice and quiet.
- 3/5
Hotel was average in every way, 1st floor looks the best however, once we got to the second floor you notice the water stains and a smell but only in that area. The room smelled fine and looked ok but upon a deeper look the bed didn’t have a skirt on it, white sheets looked tinted, the phone didn’t work, ac detector was hanging half off the wall and the ac didn’t work. Had to call downstairs using my cell phone and they moved us to another room in which was better but still just average. I will say I didn’t see any bugs and the customer service was good and the location was safe in which is why they received 3 stars. I mostly wouldn’t stay again as the hotel just looks rough for a Sheraton and the 1st floor gives a false sense of elegance. If your looking to just crash a night this isn’t a bad options but for a long stay and the price I would look else where.
- 5/5
Perfect place to stay
- 5/5
Clean area, plenty of parking.
- 4/5
Check in was very easy. We stayed for a very quick overnight trip for a Concert at the Mid Florida Amphitheater. Our room was very clean, and bed very comfortable. The view was of the roof so blinds stayed closed. This is a nice Hotel, but could definitely use an update on the outside.
- 3/5
I booked there because it was close to the Florida Fairgrounds in which I attended the university of Tampa commencement. They offered no discount as others had I actually chose wrong hotel since the hotel is gloomy and grimy and it’s a Sheraton!! Expected better
- 2/5
Dirty and dated
- 2/5
The onsite team was fine, but the property is dated and dirty. The furniture in the room was stained the grout and caulk and the bathroom was horrible. There are spots in the bathroom that have been patched but never painted. There was a bubble in the bathroom ceiling from a previous leak that has not been repaired. Restaurant food and service was decent, but the window seals were covered in dust and carpet were dirty.
- 5/5
Nice experience every time i stay here
- 3/5
A basic hotel picked for its location. Signs in the hotel suggested it is about to undergo refurbishment, not before time. Sticky carpets and check-in staff not very welcoming.
- 2/5
It was very hard to get a restful night then you getting bit by Bed Bugs
- 2/5
The building is very old. Everything is grimy and dirty inside. The room’s wallpaper is peeling, bathroom mirror ajar, toilet was dirty, and generally really outdated in style and quality.
- 4/5
Overall nice Stay the bathroom was dirty and we could not open the door to the balcony! VIP 5th floor

- 3/5
Needs remodel or sell it!
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and accommodating!
- 3/5
Room pretty dark even with all light on.
- 4/5
At first arrival, the hotel looked very nice. The entrance area near the front desk was nice and well kept. However the hallway areas definitely needed a vacuum, no big deal. The room could have been better as well. We couldn't figure out how to get the balcony door open, the faucet handle for the shower was broken, one of the soap dispensers was off the wall and in the bottom of the shower when we got there. Not a bad hotel by any means, but I wouldn't pay 265 dollars for it again.
- 5/5
The kitchen was slow at lunch and the drink was late to the table. Keep us informed that their is a 1 hour wait
- 2/5
Seeking a resolution, I requested a room change, only to find the replacement mirroring the previous one in terms of dustiness. The lack of attention to cleanliness was disheartening. Moreover, the absence of balcony privacy raised significant safety concerns, as it felt vulnerable to potential intrusions. This aspect detracted from the overall experience, leaving me dissatisfied with my stay at the hotel.
- 5/5
Very quiet and nice restaurant incase u don’t feel like leaving
- 3/5
Hotel needs maintenance and attention to details, not a 300$ a night hotel
- 3/5
Large property, easy check in, thin walls, tired mattress, time for a renovation, took multiple guests working together to find a single sad ice machine, on a huge floor which was either out of ice or non-functional, same outcome, no ice. Might be OK for tourist family's or mid price conventions, not a great choice gor business travel.
- 1/5
Our room was dirty and had black mold all through the bathroom. We got a full refund but i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We both got sick from the black mold. Absolutely unacceptable!!
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Ashley was amazing.
- 5/5
The check in staff person was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!!
- 2/5
Double le beds had plastic mattress covers that were noisy and hard underneath the thin sheet. Sliding door was locked at the bottom with no outside furniture. Sleep was rough. However, the pool was large and the outside area was nice. The hotel was large open and clean. The bartender and desk staff were professional. The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned, they only had decaf coffee in the room, 3 towels and 2 wash cloths for 4 people, hair in the shower. The area is safe. Balcony is on the interstate side of the hotel.
- 2/5
Stayed for 2 nights and was put on the highway side on the second floor. First night there was a dog barking throughout the night that made it hard to sleep. Bed mattress was old and sunken in the middle. Cleanliness was ok but the carpets were really worn out and dirty and the wall paper was coming off. BIGGEST ISSUE. There were German cockaroaches in the bathroom and near the mini fridge. I've stayed in alot of hotels and motels and this was absolutely NOT what I would expect out of a 3.5 star hotel that was rated so highly.
- 4/5
Nice room although only one elevator, and if your room is at end of building it's a long walk. Also nice breakfast but its16 dollars per person. Didn't realize we had to pay until we started eating. Our friends stayed on 3rd floor and their bed was sunkin in , the AC wasn't working properly and the room had a moldy smell.
- 3/5
Our sliding glass door was bolted or blocked so we could not use it or get to the balcony. It also creates a bad fire hazard as we could not open the door.
- 2/5
For a group event. We were checked in and the women up front was not friendly , didn’t give us the room Number nor directed us to our room. The ac was not blowing cold air. The beds were not clean, and room Service did not bring any towels nor come back in our room we were there for days.
- 4/5
Our stay was comfortable, drinks were in order to calm our nerves. Great!! they had a bar and reasonable menu and prices. Staff and bartender very friendly. Beautiful hotel.
- 2/5
The shuttle bus runs often a Plus ... One way up & down, unfriendly front desk no communication about my room issues & extra charges coming in 3days after I left with No discussion !
- 1/5
Place was a dump. Rooms reeked of mold. Club level was a joke. Pool is disgusting.
- 1/5
The air conditioning did not work at all. The room was hot and humid and disgusting all night. Honestly the whole building was hot and and humid..Will never stay again. Staff was super sweet though. 10/10 would not recommend unless you like to sweat.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Loved the refreshing fruit water by the front desk. Loved that there was a free shuttle to take us to a concert nearby so i didnt have to drive or pay an uber. Clean and spacious hotel.
- 3/5
The staff wasn’t helpful upon arrival. The girl in the lobby wouldn’t assist with finding a cart for our luggage. The property needed some serious landscaping. The room was decent but there was clearly water damage to the walls. The balcony door wouldn’t shut properly or all the way, leaving a small gap. The mini refrigerator was dirty and had food in it. There was a barking dog in the room next to ours that kept us awake all night. The hallway of the room smelled of weed. Overall, not the best experience.

The whole building was hot including the rooms. Very old interior and dirty areas.

Staff was nice. We ate in the cafe and the food and service was good. Everything else about this place was not good. Rooms and hallways were not clean. Whoever designed this hotel needs help. One Elevator right in the center. Felt like a mile walk to get to our room.

Room was clean but very worn and in need of update. Room had overwhelming musty smell and rugs were damp from humidity. It was a non smoking room but there was cigarette ashes and buds on balcony. Bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy

The property needs severe updates. Room was beat up and dirty. Not what you should expect from a hotel like this.

Our room was clean and spacious. The restauant was so reasonably priced for dinner and breakfast and the portion size was great. All the staff we encountered were so sweet. The only negative is we had someone sleeping on a pull out couch that wasnt the most comfortable but it sufficed for the one night we stayed.

Property needs updating. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning, but dirt is ground in carpets/grout…feet dirty every time after walking in carpets.
