The property overall, is beautiful. It's a great value. But the room itself could use just a little maintenance. The room was very clean and no bugs. I didn't see a roach, spider or even an ant anywhere. But the showers are a tad outdated because fixtures could use some love. The bath water is very hot at any time of day, which I loved. I love a tiled room vs. carpet because it's just more sanitary. So I was happy about that. But due to the humidity, if the air conditioner's thermostat is not set to like 70 Degrees Fahrenheit, the tile "sweats" so I had the choice between freezing or walking on wet tile. My room had a clean microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, iron, and blow dryer. Overall it's a great value. And.as a single woman, traveling alone, I felt very safe as well. Will stay again!

Always had coffee on hand. The breakfast wasn’t much but the coffee was great. Was a short stay because of being booked up for the weekend so they recommended us to the clarion pointe (same owner) will never stay at the clarion again.

After being checked in everything seemed fine our stay was okay the room was mediocre but dirty we checked out the following morning but then around 8:00 p.m. that same night I get a phone call from the front desk asking me if I checked in for the night I inform them that I stayed the previous night and checked out that morning I was told that somehow they extended my stay without my knowledge they charged my credit card without my authorization and then within the fiasco of me asking questions the front desk guy tells me oh I'm going to have to call you back in 20 minutes I called him back again in 45 after not hearing from him and being stressed out and missing time with my family during my family vacation where he then told me again ma'am I told you I would call you back he says I promise I will call you back in 10 more minutes after 20 minutes of no phone call I called again furious I demanded I speak with the manager he told me there was not one on staff I demanded that I get some answers and my card be refunded immediately he told me he doesn't have the authorization to do so after me getting loud and demanding something be done now he finally places me on hold for another 20 minutes where he then comes back on he says okay I spoke to my manager and I refunded your money with no explanation on what happened and how this incident occurred he then just tells me it is a one in a million chance that booking.com had a glitch and double booked my reservation for two nights in a row which is absolutely incorrect I don't see how that's possible will never stay there again

My husband and I had a short stay here overnight before boarding our cruise. It was a nice stay. The room was basic and clean. Bed was comfy. The sitting area around the pool was incredibly nice!!! We enjoyed it very much. One thought....the outdoor seating cushions need to be cleaned. They had a sour smell. Other than that, we were pleased and would stay again! Super close to Port Tampa Bay.

The pool and courtyard are beautiful with covered plush seating and ceiling fans and a sunny lounge area as well. The lobby is beautiful. Our queen room was good sized with two beds- modern and clean with plenty of towels, plush pillows, good sized fridge, and coffee/tea maker. The breakfast has great condiments- Nutella packets, hot sauce, cream cheese, butter, honey. The breakfast isn’t worth eating. The bread case only has plain bagels- no pastries, regular bread or English muffins. There’s no hot food like scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, etc- only refrigerated hard boiled eggs. They did have waffle makers, cereal, package oatmeal, fresh fruit- bananas, oranges, and apples, and yogurt. The bed in our room was harder than I prefer. The clientele are a mixed lot- we had someone outside our door at 3am smoking weed and talking on speaker phone at the top of her voice for about an hour. Unfortunately the weed smoke was picked up by the AC and our room was full of smoke. It made for a pretty awful night.

the air condition is brutally loud, no way you can sleep with it on a decent temperature. the hotel otherwise is a notch up from your usual motel. did not try the breakfast, so not sure about that.

The pool was nice size. The cleaning staff was rude. My teen slipped on a wet floor with no caution sign and no real way to see it was wet. The staff that was moping it responded with "She should have seen it was wet" with an attitude. Then, she proceeded to go get a Wet floor sign.

This could be awkward, depending on who was staying in the room. The TV did not get many channels unless you had an app there was no cable.

Price was affordable @ $100-130 per night weekend included. The breakfast was not good - they only had waffles, bagels, and yogurt. No cream cheese for the bagels either, lol. The staff was helpful for the most part, aside from housekeeping repeatedly knocking on my door and waking me up on a day I was not checking out. The Latin restaurant w the bar was good - but it was expensive at $20+ per meal.

The breakfast menu was minimal. Same thing every day. Only hot items were oatmeal and make your own waffle. Only bagels no bread or english muffin options.

Not for families with kids. We arrived for our stay at night to overly loud music with a "club" attached to the front of the hotel. There were people coming in from the street in "club attire". Going to our room, we did not feel safe with the clientele that were in the hall at the same time as us. The smell in our room reeked of smoke from previous guests, and the music and loud noise from the "club" and other guests was intolerable for sleeping. We immediately left without even staying one night. The hotel was made aware that we did not stay and we were not given a refund for the future nights that we had booked, much less the first night that we did not stay.

My room was cool and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was functional with decent water pressure. The pool was a nice perk to have on a sunny warm Florida day. The free breakfast was decent, but could use more items to choose from. This hotel was close to my destination in Tampa. It was easy to teach. I would stay here again.

The property was as described. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was available near the room. The only issue to speak of was the shower head not having the best pressure, but it served its purpose. I would definitely stay again should I need to visit the area.

The room and the staff was great only problem I had was the parking the restaurant next door would have the property pack I had to literally wait 30mins to find a parking spot.

Unbelievably bad. There is a “night club” at the front entrance to this place so there was ZERO parking for guests. The property is old and outdated. The shower didn’t have any water pressure and the staff didn’t care. Avoid this place at all measures.

sheets were dirty in room upon arrival, bathroom did not have plastic shower liner so water was on the tile floor during showers, walls paper thin and could hear everything from upstairs/next door throughout the nights. construction on the building happened early mornings around 7 730. left a day early from the hotel because it was just a terrible time

Here are the highlights Upon checking in, we were not told that there was no heat in either in the whole entire hotel. It’s being in Florida. We had a cold snap of 36° and you could imagine how that would be an important priority management and maintenance would never be found when they were finally addressed. They provided a space heater the size of a toaster oven. The toilet were clogged for three days as well on the day check out they came to unclog the toilet, which didn’t work There was zero housekeeping sales staff kept having to ask for clean towels and kept being told there were no towels, so I had to use the same towels again for three days I’m booking the property. They fail to tell you that they are connected to a restaurant nightclub that is also owned by the quality Inn and conference center but a private individual who believes in playing music so loud till 9:30 in the morning that no matter what ring you choose, you will hear it. You also have no place to park as priority is given to the patron of the restaurant club over the priority of the guest staying in the hotel, which was booked for a private party three nights in a row. Management and staff were different condescending non-caring. I will make you feel as if you are the problem we made the mistake of staying at their hotel and then go as far as to say if you don’t like it, you should go somewhere else.

They seem to have a nightclub or bar entrance in the front area which did make it feel a little shady. But once I got back to the room and was able to see the view from the inside balcony over the pool I was put at ease. I think my experience may have been a bit worse if I had been put on the outside room though because of all the people running around at night when I arrived. The breakfast did have waffles but besides that was pretty minimal compared to others. It was clean and felt safe.

Specially chose this hotel for the on site bar restaurant. Arrived to find that it is closed FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. It is 8pm and we are searching for dinner after our long flight. The hotel does NOT meet our expectations and we are greatly inconvenienced

If you're looking for a quite place to snooze stay away from the poolside rooms if possible as it tends to get a bit noisy. Let's face it, this is no luxury "resort" hotel. But it's worthy of five stars as an affordable place to stay with some nice amenities. The bed was comfortable, there were an astonishing number of channels available on the TV, and the shower was clean, (although the water pressure left something to be desired.)

Poor check in experience ..room I booked wast available and the staff said it will be a 30 min wait ..no real apology and this was at 3:30 PM with a promised 3 PM checkin time.. the cleaning staff are behind as we are full was the line I got ..got my clue and took whatever was available and wasnt informed there was no elevator ..got my bags in and looked around finally dragged up the stairs ..room had a smell like people were getting high nearby ..would not recommend with kids due to setting near a night club ..breakfast was out of bread and bagels an hour in ...went back up after grabbing coffee and key did not work ..back again to the reception and then checked out ..

Breakfast was not good at all with limited items and the items that wer available were not good. Hotel rooms were dirty and run down with bugs. Next door the guy kept coming out of the room to smoke and all the smell was coming into our room. Very loud outside and no parking because of the restaurant/night club out front. Parking should be for hotel guest only.

The place is under staff. the front desk was holding down the fort doing his best checking everyone in and handling any issues. When I checked in the room there was no Internet called to notify the hotel and they told me that I had a call customer service to reinstate the Internet in the hotel which I think that’s unacceptable. That’s something that’s supposed to be already available. The place was clean, but the staff is so understaffed that leaves all the visitors to do the hotel’s work. I shouldn’t have to call no customer service to handle the hotels Internet.

This property was good for the price. While the rooms were a bit dated, it was clean and appeared well maintained. The staff was helpful and welcoming.

Breakfast was awful with hard bagels... all 5 days. My remote didnt work at first. Took 3 men to figure out how to make one work. Ran out of towels . No towels for pool area . Overall very disappointed

The pool was ok.

Room and area smelled like sewer so we were moved to a different room. Staff was helpful however they did not enforce any type of quiet hour and people were up partying around the pool until 4:30 in the morning. Every night.

The room could have been cleaner, but was sufficient for one night.

Would get perfect score, but this does have a conference center. The night we checked in there was a huge party. Someone aid bridal shower that was playing soccer me good tunes, but loud. Luckily we checked in late (after midnight) so the party ended shortly after that.

stay was nice and room was clean and updated. our trip was an overnight stay to celebrate a birthday at the Latin grille. we will be staying again soon. Latin grille was so much fun

Loved the staff here they took care of me when I wasn’t at my best. That’s all I’ll say lol overall great stay!! Would come back and recommend to anyone visiting Tampa!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!

The air conditioning was completely filled with dust making it hard to breathe, the sink and shower were filthy upon arrival but I looked past it, sheets and comforter were already stained, but the staff was super nice so I guess there’s a plus side to everything.

Staff is attentive to your needs. They aim to please and correct any issues you may have encountered during your stay.

First person I dealt with was Josh he was amazing took care of everything unfortunately he wasn’t there our whole stay after that you got an attitude from everyone else. Towels were dirty , hole in the wall literally. It was hard to get anything . My daughter asked for a fork and spoon later in the evening the lady gave her a cup with open silverware in hot water told her to soak them they are probably dirty .

Service was good. Friendly staff. The hotel lobby, courtyard, and pool are all amazing. The rooms were very clearly old, worn out rooms that they threw a fresh coat of paint on and added some minimal furniture and called it good. Tiny, tiny bathrooms. There was some kind of drainage issue because the sink, tub/shower, and toilet were all very slow to drain. A/C unit was very noisy and didn't cool well. Walls are thin and outside noise is easily heard. This became an issue because there is a VERY popular Latin restaurant and dance club attached to it. Lots of loud and drunk people on a Saturday night. I think if you're looking to go someplace where you can dance and drink and just go lay down at the end of a long, fun night, this is the motel for you! If you're looking for a comfortable place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet, go somewhere else.

The floor in our room was coming up , large splinters in center of room. No travel toothpaste provided , as I forgot mine and assumed it would be provided. Very noisy , thin walls. Could hear entire conversations from inside our room. And air conditioning was leaking and very noisy.

There was an issue and addressed. Not sure if followed through as we checked out. Also did not receive any receipt from room as we were told it would be sent to my email. We checked out 6:30ish a.m. and its now 10:51 and still no receipt. Not happy

Rooms are clean, lobby and pool area are great. Also the restaurant attached is fantastic. However I don't like the lack of parking at night, the motel style of the rooms and the AC constantly runs no matter what temperature you set it.

Breakfast option was limited. Staff wasn’t polite. Could not register until after 3 pm. Had to wait a half hour. Wasn’t just us, there were other people also. Room wasn’t completely clean. Hair all around the sink.

It was like staying at an hourly motel, it wasn't the best cleaned and there was a screaming drunk lady banging on the door next to mine. She was so loud and crazy the police were called. It wasn't until 1am until it was over. The remote for the tv didn't work I had to go out and my my own batteries. Would not recommend this place

I seen 2 baby roaches. Last night one was crawling on my while i was sleeping and woke me a 2am. I did report tbe issue to the boss and tbe front desk and both people didnt seem concerned. They also was not apologetic or anything.

me and my friend came down to see the kesha tour and we found this hotel that was connected to the latin grill had a friendly bartender and food was good drinks were great the hotel pool was cute with a lot of seating beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our kesha weekend

TV kept going out cause the wifi kept going out and could not find a working iron. room was clean and comfortable though and pool is really nice.

Food was a limited continental breakfast, no eggs. Juices were concentrated and needed water added to them. No pool was a HUGE disappointment to me and first the roofers blew ashes and other toxic soot down on pool and pool guests (me). Josh, Kelvin, Amy @ (front desk) were great.

This hotel needs More parking spaces for the club next door so we don’t have to search for a parking spot all night. If any room has stains on curtains and bedspreads, change them asap. Other than that the space was handy, nice look for a getaway trip on a decent budget

stay was good until saturday night did not have handicapped parking top park in by room had to walk a pretty good ways to get to room this should not happen handicap parking should go with room so no one can park in your place also a lot of activty going on out by the pool after it closed in the area out side of pool maybe the security should check on this every hour other than that the pool was very enjoyable for the grankids and did close down at 09.00 pm which was good

The advertisement & location is very Misleading. It was located on a strip of car dealerships & adult entertainment clubs. Some guy was continually circling the building in his personal car and he wasn’t security. Then there was a stray cat running around. I got paranoid and cancelled my reservation.

Our room was very dirty. The bottom of my socks were BLACK. Outdated. Bathroom was dirty. Linens smelled musty.

Absolutely terrible! Lousy room, no door on bathroom or shower initially. Changed rooms to one that did. This room had no hot water in sink, toilet issues flushing, TV didn't work, loud neighbors next door, people smoking pot right outside our door, did not feel safe here.

I was expecting better service. I needed more time, but I was not able to get it. I had my two youngest who are children on the autism umbrella accompany with ADHD. The language barrier from housekeeping (Hispanics) staff was an issue. They kept knocking on the door while we already advised them we have a verbal agreement from the manager to stay until 12pm. The access cards were already disabled between 10:15-10:30 am, while we had a check out time of 12 noon. The phone in the room does not work because it's not even connected to the wall. The night stand was very dusty. You should have some of the rooms more family oriented. Someone left a cigarette butt on top of the mure in front of our room which was around the pool area. They changed the rooms when we got to the hotel, with the excuse that we arrived later than expected. IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE, UNFORTUNATELY!

Please don't let the online lobby photos fool you. This is a dump. All the rooms smell like smoke and they are horrifically beyond dirty. Bed bugs, insect or rodent dropping to make things even worse. I had to leave, my kids were getting sick. If there was a no star..they earned it. Also, this system would not allow me to upload photos. I have them

why is there piss sitting in room 119 like you can visually see the piss on the toilet when you lift the top up. There was Dog hair in the bed with a stain on the sheet and two stains on one pillow. On top of that why is there hair on two towels then i had one of the rags that had hair on it as well. Like do you guys actually clean these rooms before giving them to your guest? I would not recommend staying in a hotel like the one i was just at

Dirty, the curtains were stained not sure with what. The fridge had roaches and there was roach skin in the bed with some dirt and hair. Bathroom tub had stains, overall just needs to be renovated.

I called and cancelled stay because my surgery got cancelled last minute.. tried to change dates for a week later and I was denied.. called hotel. Nothing they can do. They suck !!

We stayed for three nights. The hotel was clean and felt very safe. It had a nice pool area, and the service was good. They have an onsite restaurant/bar, but they make sure to save parking spaces in the front for guests staying at the hotel.

Me an my daughter enjoyed staying here before visiting Adventure island! The latina Grill connected was a fun dance spot an yummy food! The hotel had parking accommodations since it was full an a night club after dark! Wishing my daughter was a little older for that lol but we enjoyed the pool view from our room too! The bed was comfy and we slept so good.

Man at check in rude and changed my room stating it's for elderly only. I was confused I never selected a room. Nasty for no reason.

We had an amazing time. Staff was amazing with us. So amazing that other family members left there hotels to come join us here. Pool was perfect.

It was a little loud in the early stages of the night due to the restaurant attached, but things calmed down as the night progressed. Everyone was really friendly and willing to help.

nice hotel to say, would like to see the breakfast area open a bit longer for the people who slept in to 9 am. Parking was a bit overcrowded on saturday night due to the night club.. I had to park on the service drive behind hotel.

The motel is connected to a restaurant/ bar that has a busy night life. I came back to rest and there were streams of people in the parking lot. I had to park in an adjacent lot, in the dark. The shower was clogged and no one came to fix it and the room was dirty. There was a stale cigarette smell, long hair all over the floor and the bed spread was dirty and sheets were wrinkled and sandy, like someone just got out of the bed . I went to the pool to take a dip and was greeted by a group doing tequila shots. Needless to say I did not swim at all during my three day stay. I don’t usually complain but this time I suggest you rethink your hotel decision.

Both then as well as other times one could smell marijuana, even a bit waiting through into the room, from people in the pool area. Otherwise, I guess it was fine. Room seemed clean and the shower worked.

Very easy check in. Pleasant & helpful staff. Clean rooms. Liked that there wasn't carpet. Breakfast was ok. We made waffles. Best part was the pool & surrounding area. Very spacious. Wish the pool bar had been open. I definitely would stay here again & recommend it to others. The price was good too.

The facility has seen better days. Apparently, the bathtub had been resurfased with a plastic bathtub over it. Well, the upper plastic cover had a huge water bubble between the two layers. You can hear the water moving underneath on each step you make. DISGUSTING!!!

All you smell is weed. Had a cockroach in my room. Back door by the courtyard does not lock. Asked numerous times for the Courtyard to be cleaned up tables were sticky trash everywhere. Very cheap mattresses.

Very dirty

When I walked into the foyer of the lobby, the glamour of the entrance excited me! Also, it smelled super-clean and I was happy about the on-site restaurant. I was in Tampa for the Millennium Tour and the hotel was only about a 7 minute drive from Ybor and 5 mins from the nearest mall. Definitely love the area. The only downfall was the lack of breakfast.

Not happy about noise from pool area at night and the super loud clanging of gates to get into pool area. Sounded like fun shots. Room was okay except for beetles or roaches wandering about. Lastly bathroom could have been much cleaner. Thought we would fall through the terribly soft and squishy shower floor.

Rooms could be better a little outdated and not as clean also it’s a horrible smell out and some sort of moths were in our room bathroom and our door was never open

Rooms are nice, pool area is pretty, hotel is next to lots of things to do like dinning , activities and shopping .

Completely satisfied stay there for a couple of nights for work meetings.
