Hotel was fine except they had a couple of Veteran Limo type vans parked by our room. They came in middle of night and had beeping noises for a while which woke us up.

Plenty of parking and able to park outside of the room. Continental breakfast was good but the breakfast area was small. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for us to visit Raymond James Stadium.

I got there and the room wasn't ready, they substituted my reservation for a non handicap one even though I paid extra through you guys for a handicap accessible room. A tub with no rails is not handicap accessible. The floor was atleast some what clean but the beds were as hard as concrete slabs. The walls were all scuffed up and I had to pay extra for a refundable incidental charge. Thank God I had the money. Absurd pricing for a one night stay, where I couldn't even sleep properly.

Clean place to stay if your needing to go to the airport or just coming from the airport. Super close drive to TPA. Airplane noise can be loud. But not the hotels fault, just prepare for it.

Very basic all around. Although most of it was surface clean, the bath was grubby with mold under the mat, floor was sticky and the overall smell was quite horrid. It did the job but wouldn’t return.

We landed after everything in the airport was shut down. Even Uber drivers were in short supply. But the La Quinta Night clerk was fantastic! After a phone call about our predicament, he went to work to get us a ride and make sure we were cared for before we were on his property. When there, no task was to big or too small for his hospitable heart Workers right outside our door shortly after our late check in. Yes, maintenance work is essential but we didn’t like the timing

The best thing about our stay was the staff at check in, she was very nice and helpful. Rooms are really outdated but I guess that goes with the price we paid. AC was nice and cold. Bathroom door did not close completely and there was a coffee maker in the bathroom. I prefer to not stay there again.

Location was excellent as well as the breakfast 1.At-check in at 4 p.m. 5/15/26 the young lady at the desk was overwhelmed with the three guests she was attempting to help as the line formed for other arriving guests. SHE NEEDED HELP! After about a 20 min. wait I told the fellow in back of me I thought I'd go and get a beer and left. As we left the front of the entrance the overwhelmed clerk was out in front of the hotel crying with, most likely, another employee talking with her. Did she quit????? When we returned in about 90 mins. my wife went in to register. No problems and she told me there were 2 employees on the desk at that time. 2.-We had room 160 --the king bed was lumpy and not comfortable 3.-No dresser or closet in the room. 4.-No hooks to hang anything on in the room %.We lived out of our suit cases for our three night stay.

I never got to check in to the hotel. There was a major problem with the front desk check in system and they turn all of us away. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a chain hotel!!

I expected a hotel, not a run down old motel. There was no elevator just concrete steps to haul your luggage up. It didn't feel very secure in terms of the door lock. There wasn't a place to hang your clothes either. The website that dealt with the extended parking for your car advertised $10/day. When I got there I was told and charged $12/ day.

I had an easy time checking in late at night because I did most of it online. I found the room to be quite spacious, nice decor and it seemed to me it felt newly renovated. This was one of the nicest LA Quinta Hotels I stayed at. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Could use a shower head upgrade.

This is a great location for a late arrival. The staff was super helpful. They have a free airport shuttle and a for a fee ($10 pp) cruise port shuttle. This same shuttle offers pick up at cruise terminal for a fee to airport or hotel. Breakfast was good. Pool area looked great ...we didnt get to use it. We will definitely book here again.

They answered every question. They even checked us into a room without changing. The person who picked us up at airport was great! But they guy who picked us up from hotel to cruise he was not so nice. Everyone in van was like what's this guy prob

It was exactly what it should have been. It's not a super upscale place but the the room was clean, the staff was very nice and helpful. It was easy to find. Easy parking. It was motel style, simple with two beds and a bath. Air conditioner worked and shower got hot. Would stay again.

Staff was friendly, location was great (walked back the night before leaving after dropping off the rental car at the airport because I didn't want to get up at 3:30am to return it.) They had laundry area that was good but only works with an app (at least 1st wash was free). Nice pool.

Arrived after a long flight and had some difficulty getting into the room because the key was not working but the staff working that night were lovely! Got an upgrade to a larger room due to the inconvenience. Lovely clean room, great location close to the airport, very clean! Only stayed for one night but would recommend It suites my need for the night other than the check in issue which was resolved quickly no problems at all

The location There is no quiet time. My neighbour was so loud to one in the morning. The motel reminds me of a truckstop, hookers drugs, alcohol… I think that the shuttle bus should be more than every hour

My stay was great. Only thing that I didn’t like was the rooms didn’t have a closet or iron/ironing board. But, the staff was great and very accommodating. They bought in an iron/ironing board, along with a portable clothes rack.

We had to be at airport by 430 am, no breakfast available Outdoor hallway was dark, parking area was dirty, no bottle water in room, had to get batteries for remote control in room.

We stayed here as an affordable option and close to raymond james stadium for the BTS concert and I was actually quite comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room is a bit old but the beds were very comfortable and the size of the room was great! Plenty of space for 3 adults! It's close to the tampa airport too so for price and location, it's a good deal. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is 1 mile from the car rental return which is handy. Excellent breakfast choices. Best by far of the 4 places we stayed this trip. Only negative is whatever they clean with is overpowering! We had to leave our door open for about 3 hours to even be able to stay in the room.

Our room was nice and clean. The staff was amazing, she knew exactly why we’re staying, I wish prices were cheaper. If I have to stay again there do another even, I would.

We came for the BTS concert because it was super close to the stadium and dogs are allowed. Room was nice and clean and we just needed a place to sleep. I would stay here again for sure.

It was clean and reasonably priced. The advertised price for leaving a vehicle was far less than the actual price. That, with the limitations in hours of the shuttle meant that it didn’t work for me to use this as the place to store my car for a months vacation. Because the facility did not return my messages to give me information , Idid not cancel my stay. Front desk was unsympathetic about my situation with no apology.

Additionally, the room itself was colder than I would have liked. Despite adjusting the thermostat, I struggled to get the temperature to a comfortable level. This added to my overall discomfort during the stay. While the location of the hotel was convenient, I expected much better in terms of cleanliness, appearance and room comfort. I hope management addresses these issues to improve future guest experiences. Thank you, BM

We came back to the room in the middle of the night and the bath tub was 2-3 inches of nasty dirty water that was coming up from the tub. Had to get switched to a different room on the second floor. It seemed at this may have been a known problem as the room had a strong smell of cleaner/ air freshener to cover up. The person at the front desc mentioned a possible rate reduction to to the inconvenience of having to move all our stuff to another room in the middle the night.( we will see what I actually get charged)

It’s a basic no-frills hotel which suited our needs. The staff was welcoming and helpful. There are several good choices for restaurants close by. There was no closet to hang our clothes out for the next work day.

Our room had an awful chemical smell and we had to request to move to another room which the front desk person was able to do quickly. The new room didn’t smell but there was hair in the bathroom and there was a man in the next room who was screaming and yelling when we were trying to go to bed.

We were looking at her thru the window. My husband went across the parking lot and got the iron and iron board and the iron she gave us was broken and leaking water.

If you like the woosh of 747s over your head at midnight and the popping of a of a 600 hp Hemi with a straight pipe muffler shortly before and after that, this is the place for you. Be prepared to rub elbows at breakfast.

I've always stayed here when visiting family in Tampa, but the property has declined in recent years. For some reason, I was out in a wheelchair accessible room. You have to request room servicing, plus the housekeeping staff talks loudly to each other right outside the rooms. There was also a strange odor in the room.

Service was friendly, courteous … and sloooow. Beds were comfy and room clean, but few amenities and the breakfast was only breads and carbs (very limited). Not bad overall, and would recommend if you just need a place to crash and is convenient to the airport.

Rooms could use a little time to clean thoroughly, something some kind of spill on nightstand, some little pieces of food or something in sink around drain plug, bathtub has stains on rough skidproof bottom. Bedsheets and mattress cover very uncomfortable, vinyl material and thin sheets causes lots of body moisture, in other words, sweaty! Walls not insulated, can hear neighbors talking, even if not loud. Thought Wyndham properties were supposed to be better than that!

The water ran out the under bathroom door went out into the room halfway about an inch of water. My husband had to mop the floor to get the water up. We missed our dinner for our anniversary. We were not happy. Hotel could not give us any comp because we booked through. What are you going to do to make this right.

Cons: Everything was glued down - lamps, USB port, etc. Insufficient lighting. Bathroom has sliding barn door style. Tub faucet showed corrosion. Coffee maker was broken and dusty inside. The continental breakfast was very limited in selection and too short of a time to get it. The pool needed to be skimmed but it was too cold out to swim. Overall, a decent place for someone on a budget. Note: the airport shuttle only runs until 11 PM.

The cleaning staff in morning were extremely loud outside the doors and woke me up repeatedly. Rather than a quiet voice to talk they were full volume like one would expect in a stadium. No possibility of sleeping in for a first day of vacation. Glad I didn’t book multiple nights.

Yes my room was excellent and the staff were lovely . It is a very good base to get about Tampa. I enjoyed my stay there 😊 but the only thing I would say maybe a new carpet in hallway leading to the upstairs room would be a plus. But overall value for money I would say .

Overall the stay was nice but I was disappointed because my room on my second night stay had little sewer bugs in the room. I don’t know if they were coming in through the sink drain or the tub drain. I did take some video and pictures. The receptionist took note of it .

After a late arrival (after midnight) we asked for a later check out and was told no, or that we’d be charged $75. Upon reaching our room after climbing stairs to the second floor with our bags, the keys didn’t work. After returning to the front desk for new keys, and climbing the stairs again, those keys didn’t work either! The third time the lady came with me to let us in. Also, there was no closet, not even a hanger. Also, the breakfast selections could be improved.

We are Wyndham members and hotel.com member and they would not let us check in early. We tried approximately one hour before 3 o’clock check in on Thanksgiving day and they said it would be a considerable charged which was unacceptable.

It was ok. Seriously 5 min from the airport.comfy beds. No closets and no dressers but if you go in expecting that it’s ok. Breakfast is ok, jimmy dean microwave sausage sandwiches, cereal, and milk. Checking in was obscenely long and slow for al five rooms in our party even though we arrived at different days and times. Expect each person to require 30 minutes to check in. Otherwise decently clean and quiet. There is an ihop in the parking lot

The Hotel took forever to answer the phone to get a hotel shuttle. The cruise shuttle is $10 per person. We had a small lizard in the bathroom and the tub didn’t drain well. Room was very dated and furniture was very worn.

Front desk lady is amazingly helpful. Rooms need more lighting. They were very dark. Pool was freezing, and needed the tile on the side walls cleaned. Very black with pool scum. No closets or places to hang up clothes. Could have used a water fountain or two to fill up water bottles. They did have a fruit/water pitcher in the front lobby, which was nice, but a fountain of cold water would have been helpful. Breakfast was nothing special, cold cereals, yogurt, breads and bagels, and microwaveable breakfast sandwiches.

The property lacked a grassy area for my dog. We went here specifically because it was pet friendly with no place for her to potty. The room was comfortable, but could have been cleaner, and there was a huge gap under the door, we had to put a towel down in front of it so bugs didn't get in.

Everything was fine. But the dresser under the TV had what appeared to be bullet holes in it. It was disgusting and disturbing to be honest.

Staff was welcoming and friendly. Bed was uncomfortable and squeaky, found a roach (alive). Needs a upgrade, overall.

The hotel is a little old, but clean. Odd thing - there is no closet or place to hang clothes. The walls are very thin, so you can hear people on each side and above talking and walking. It's in a good location. The free breakfast is just pre-packaged foods.

Nothing bad to say about this place

First, I was never informed that housekeeping had to be requested before 11am, so I went without it. I had to repeatedly walk to the front desk just to ask for fresh towels and extra blankets. At one point, I was even directed to the employee laundry room to grab the items myself, which felt very unprofessional. The hotel didn’t have connecting rooms available for my family of four, which I understand may be due to ongoing renovations but it still made things less convenient. After a long drive, we were looking forward to a good night’s sleep, but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and made loud creaking noises every time someone turned over. The pool also had an overwhelming amount of bleach. I smelled like chlorine for the rest of the day after just a short swim. The only real positive was its proximity to the airport. Other than that, I wouldn’t stay at a La Quinta again based on this experience.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay. From the lobby to the room everything was well maintained and clean. The desk clerk was very helpful and polite. The pool was clean and inviting. The room was clean as was the bathroom with plenty of towels. The sliding barn door for the bathroom was convenient and looked nice but didn't allow for complete privacy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Erica, Front Office Manager, was amazing. She greeted me with a warm welcome at check in. The entire staff was professional and accommodating. The lady that manages the breakfast area made sure that the breakfast items were replenished requently. Overall it was a great stay.

More of a roach motel instead of a La Quinta. I am only speaking in terms of the building itself. The staff were fine and the breakfast was good. The price was close to $300 due to the metallica concert when it should’ve been priced at no more than $80 a night

My room wasn't ready by their 3 pm check-in time. I reserved a room with a roll in shower; received one with a tub. However, the handicap bars were very helpful. Although they allow dogs to stay; there is not a designated grassy area for dogs to do their business. The hotel was very clean.

I stay for vacation form thursday to sunday well the roon was clean the 1 day all good second day i found i small little roach by the bathtube in bathroon next day on saturday i request for. Housekeeping. Before 11 am To have clean well i guess the person that was working saturday morning forget to tell houskeeping to clean the roon. Well my room was no clean so i have to take the towel to the lobby so i can get new ones the lady was very nice. I no remeber her name place was quite a night I can use the pool becouse this weekend was raining on friday alot But all good was close to the ballpark mall and restaurant do i like to stay here maybe i have to think about twice. Before the need to do more daily cleaning

I needed a hotel near the airport for an early morning flight. Room was clean and basic for price. However, in the morning there were roaches in bathroom and in bedroom under the chest of drawers. I rang the front desk at 5 am several times, with no answer. I would not recommend.

The lady at the front desk was very nice, but what sucks for her is that she is the face at the front desk. This place is horrible, and pictures will truly fool you. It is so outdated, no bed covers on mattresses, the toilet barely flushes, and we open the drawer and there was a German roach crawling out of it. We had just checked in and checked right the hell out. I failed because I did not check the reviews, but I did after the fact and realized this place is infested with roaches. Month after month, year after year, there are complaints about roaches. So clearly, they know it's infested and they are still renting rooms. Do not stay here. I will truly just spend the extra money on a nice hotel. I am done with Wyndham hotels. They have went down hill.DO NO STAY HERE!!

The rooms were awesome..the property was safe

The stay was fine. Felt like there was a lot of deposit required not mentioned in the notes or mentioned until check in. It was refunded just a little irritating to be told at the front desk not prior to the stay when making the reservation.

I tried to call to see about an early check in, and the phone just rang for over 5 minutes. Check in staff was rather rude when first swinging by to check on a possible early check in. Was informed it was $55 to check in two hours early (more than the half the nightly rate!). I confirmed that checking in ANY time before 3 this would apply. When we returned at 3, same staff member tried to say we would not let her finish speaking (untrue) and we could have checked in at 2. The room is super basic, not even a closet, has mismatched and damaged furniture. Cleanliness was questionable at best. The shampoo they provided (minute size) was nearly empty. It served it's purpose of somewhere to lay heads on a quick overnight trip on a budget over a holiday weekend.
