We checked in and got our room key, the room smelled damp and when we took off our shoes the carpet was soaking wet. The bathroom was old and dingey, the hallway smelled like weed. We promptly left.

The Breakfast was good, clean and located in a good area , easy to find, would stay at that hotel again and recommend it everything was fine friends. Everything was ok, I don't have anything to really complain about , all the staff was great.

Pleasant stay, rooms appear to have been renovated recently. Modern, contemporary decor. Bed was ok, but the pillows were surprisingly good. One downer: they give you a microwave and fridge in the room, but cannot supply any napkins or paper towels. Had to use a washcloth as a napkin. I assume the shower head was of the low flow variety, to help save on water. However, the pressure was really wimpy.

The property was old and not well maintained. The room and bathroom were sub-standard. Fair amount of damage. Poor AC. Shower didn't have hot water. I would not personally choose to stay here again. Only bright side were the employees who were excellent and very helpful.

Upon arrival, there were people standing outside of the hotel, engaging in illegal recreational activities, as well as drinking alcohol and visibly intoxicated. I was on vacation with my husband and two young children, this was unacceptable. The next morning there is no hot water and the toilet wouldn’t flush as well as the sink being dirty with unrecognizable stains and hair. We brushed it off because we were in a rush and figured that we would say something later to the staff. We went downstairs to eat breakfast, and our eggs were moldy, and we were told that it was normal when heating up in the microwave. We packed our bags and left because we did not feel safe and it was an overall disgusting experience.

The room smelt like mildew. Pool and hot tub area was unbearable with trash dumpster right next door that smelled so so bad. Also, breakfast was not that great and when they ran out of gravy for biscuits and i asked for more gravy, lady refused to make more. So rude. Air conditioner hummed all night and elevator felt like it was going stop working at any moment.

Everything was great, very clean, spacious and affordable. Breakfast was good but I think it could improve adding fruits and oats.

We were all women traveling in what we expected.Most was a nice hot shower depending on whether we took it in the morning or the afternoon.And that was not the case , so very disappointing The lighting in the room and not being able to have hot water.Every time we took a shower

Room was decent but had an odd smell. Everything was clean, just smelled maybe like they had shampooed the carpets and they hadn't dried properly, kind of sour. All of the employees were reasonably helpful and nice and there wasn't too much noise. I can say this was one of the more comfortable mattresses I have slept on in a hotel!

The hotel hallways everywhere and our room smelled like mold. The walls were dirty and could use more frequent painting. We had the Superior room and it definitely was not superior. We couldn't possibly think of soaking in that hot tub. Also, the humidity in the room was incredible, the carpet seemed wet.I really couldn't think of good things to say about this hotel except it gave us a place to sleep for a night out of the rain and lightning. Really, this hotel is in need of a complete remodel.

The room next to us used the lock guard all morning with multiple doors opening and loudly slamming shut against the guard. Disable the cards after the standard checkout time to avoid this in the future.

We stayed here for bts concert , stadium and mall was only 10 min away. Airport 15 min away. Great location, great customer service, room was clean every time we came back. Only problem was door key won’t swipe well and had to get help , and carpet is sticky. I will be back!

Stayed at La Quinta in Tampa for a BTS concert and it was perfect for a quick trip 💜 Clean, comfortable room, easy check-in, and friendly staff. The location made getting to and from the Raymond James Stadium super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

The room was very clean, and very accessible (as requested). The shower pressure for the shower could have been better, as it wasn't very strong. The water for the shower also wasn't very hot; more like room temperature at the hottest. Breakfast was delicious and had a wonderful selection to choose from. Only downside I would give, is that it is only 6-9am. It would benefit lasting a bit longer, maybe to 10am, for those who are a bit late to rise. Staff were helpful for whole duration of trip, very nice and respectful, too.

We had a late arrival and the staff member was so welcoming and professional. The exterior is nicely maintained and well lit. The room was clean, nicely presented, well stocked with toiletries and towels. Walls need some touch up however not a deterrent for a stay, just reason for not getting excellent. Slept in so did not partake in breakfast. If going to Raymond James for any reason I would recommend staying here.

I don’t know I didn’t eat the breakfast. The parking seemed safe enough I guess, I definitely wouldn’t leave any valuables in my car in that neighborhood.

Did not eat at the hotel. Somewhat difficult to get to the hotel, due to traffic (U-Turn).

The room smelled like smoke and piss, the AC made noise all night and the elevator was not working properly. The only thing I did like about the stay was the lady at the front desk.

We had a very pleasant stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa Central. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable. The room was well maintained, and the common areas were also in good condition. The location was convenient, and the stay met our expectations. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Way overpriced for what it was. Was fairly dirty. Sheets were stained, carpets stained, rugs were gross, everything smelled funny /musty. Walls were so thin I heard my neighbors all night (, not necessarily hotels fault). Just dissapointed in how dirty and run down everything was for that kind of price. Windows /doors looked like they Handnt been cleaned in awhile. Location is about all it has going for it.

Really impressed with this hotel! We got a room with the jet tub in it and it was super clean and a very nice room. The room was extremely small and no way was that a queen bed. The tile in the shower was broken with mold in it. Disgusting. Not worth $183 for 1 night. I will be addressing this in a letter to the manager. Very disappointed

The hotel is a remodeled buidling, judging by the street entrance sign it's always been a La Quinta. Its nice, mostly clean. Its a La Quinta, if you set tou bar at that, it'll be slightly exceeded. The room was nice, plenty of space. Bedding, couch and desk chair were clean - the Wifi worked as expected. The breakfast is your normal free, powdered eggs and sausage patties with the waffle machine, bagels and toast. They had apples, bananas, milk, coffee, etc.. I didnt look at the pool to see what it was like. Every employee i encountered was kind and professional, willing to help. I stayed here while visiting a family member at Tampa General. I'd definitely book this hotel for that purpose again.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The one thing that we had issue with was that the elevator was out of date for inspection by 4 months. It was not running smoothly, either. We would pray that we would not get stuck in there each time we had to use it. Other than that, our stay was good.

Staff was great, but the room was not in great condition. The tub/shower faucet was loose and did not divert flow well, so the water pressure was very low in the shower. Our stay was disappointing. The hotel didn’t feel very clean and seemed neglected overall. The staff wasn’t very attentive or welcoming, and the level of service definitely didn’t match the price of the room. We expected much better for the cost and likely wouldn’t stay here again.

the room didn’t feel clean it had an odor of humidity and mildew. the tub was old painted and the faucet handle was lose and difficult to adjust. the drain was slow and the water buildup was dirty. felt like dirty water was backing up into tub. i didn’t get a goodnights sleep. fortunately not all La Quintas are like this.

We reserved and paid for the jetted suite but got the bait and switch. We got put in an apartment style room instead. Dirty sheets, fridge that ran constantly (unplugged it) , mini fridge on max barely had cool drinks, utensiles looked like they bought them from goodwill. Extremely low quality ESPECIALLY considering we paid 264.00 for 2 nights! Breakfast was absurd...eggs and sausage were cold right out of the server, milk was located mid shin height, biscuts but no gravy. Will never stay here again.

Very pleasant experience with hotel clerk. Breakfast didn't have a great selection but the facility and area was super clean. Staff was pleasant. Great atmosphere. My room was clean and inviting.

Although the hotel has been renovated you can tell it still needs a little extra love. The room doors wouldn’t close unless you put a little extra into it and then the outlets didn’t work. Otherwise it was good for an overnight stay especially last minute.

This was probably one of the worst hotels stays I've experienced. The hotel looks new or at least recently remodeled in the online photos. It is not. The property is worn out and rundown. The best thing going for it is Nick, who works second shift at the front desk. The cleaning crew is also nice. The included breakfast is so unimpressive. Do not stay here.

Room was very clean, but smelled musty. The bed was very soft, pillows were puffy and firm, pretty, but not great for side sleeping. A/C worked great. Bathroom was beautiful and towels looked brand new. Nice amenities: Dove soap, shampoo and conditioner. Front desk was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was standard fare at hotels.

There is a really good restaurant within walking distance. The room was comfortable. The water in the jet tub was hot The shower water was not really hot luke warm at best. The hot tub outside was not working which was part of the reason for booking the hotel.

They are trying to rob me of my canceled stay. Reservation through Expedia. Canceled within the cancellation policy. Hotel said Expedia never advised them of cancellation. Thieves!!!!!

In the second room, the smell was slightly better but still not what you would expect from a “nice” hotel. Unfortunately, my husband and I have decided that we will not be staying at this hotel again, nor will we recommend it.

2 night stay with super comfortable king bed, quiet room & I loved the bathroom ambient mirror.

Cuban restaurant right in front of the building and few shopping store on the pool side . Not bad at all .

The check out process was incomplete and staff does not listen to clients. The tv remote is was missing the back, the exterior of window showed significant mold, the tub showed chipping of paint. Okay for just testing your head but definitely not an enjoyable hotel furnishing

However the shower in room was not working right, beds were terrible, there was a lot of debis in pool, and hot tub not working correctly. Kind of sad for Wyndham property.

We liked the quiet, we were on vacation lots of things to do in the area. We hung out by the pool and enjoyed the relaxation we got. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and all areas of the hotel. Definitely stay here again!

It's a good property. The elevator was down while we were there but they were very accommodating and had someone to carry your bags of needed up the stairs. We were also able to check in when the room was ready for the inconvenience. They were nice and very very helpful.

The room smells terrible and they try to cover up with tons of air freshener in ac filter to the point that would hurt your eyes. Elevator broke. Old and out dated. Worse!

The room was nice and big. I like that it was equipped with a fridge and microwave. The only issue was the elevator wasn’t working 7/24-28

The staff was extremely and helpful. The accommodations were great.

The elevator was not working when we checked in and for the entire duration of our stay. Despite the elevator not working, we were placed on the fourth floor of the hotel for our stay.

Great Hotel. Excellent.

On hotels.com (which I use often) did not indicate that there was a $100 incidental fee, only the $25 for pets. I attempted go show the employee it stated no fee.. . He became combative again. I drove 6hr, no one is trying to argue. Anywho, I'm not sure if it was because I'm African American to why he was so fiery. But I'd never stay there again. Urine in the stairs, mold on the ceiling of the room. I didn't see anyone else in the area that looked like ME, never again!

Was a good location to go to downtown Tampa at a price much better than staying Downton. And parking is free and breakfast included.

On the positive side, the front desk staff was very nice.

Chill workers, breakfast is not bad, and the front desk was flexible when I asked for things .

I was able to have my dog with me at the hotel and the charge was reasonable. Staff was nice.

First thing the property was clean and smelled good, the room was nice everything was clean they had a real breakfast not just coffee and pasty and called it breakfast like most hotels they use dove products which I loved overall I will stay again, the staff was also helpful

Nice property great management

I liked the comfy bed and the room. AC was good. My only complaint was that the maid workers talked too loud in the hallway in the morning and the trash bins are way too small in the room.

Amazing Experience

I never use room service so it was nice that they respected the "do not disturb" sign. Hotel was mostly quiet and I got a great view of the Burger King parking lot across the street! Price was reasonable and it was near much of what I wanted to get to.

Convenient location. Quick check in. Near a lot of resturants, gas stations and a Walmart.

I texted the number that I was sent when I checked in to let them know the side table between the beds was disgusting and didn’t look like it had been cleaned. I got no response. Also, the rugs throughout were dirty. Will not stay there again.

Very enjoyable stay!

Shower was a dribble and cold. Front desk person manipulated the nozzle and warm water came out with the dribble. I look foward to an awesome shower at a hotel I paid hundreds of dollars on but this sucked.

The room was very clean and the people were very friendly. We will visit here again .

Location is not good, the surroundings especially in the pool area. For the fee per night is kind of pricey. The Air conditioning in the room was awful we couldn't sleep, so we decide to go, never coming back.
