The hotel is undergoing renovations, which has caused some inconveniences for guests such as construction noise and limited parking. However, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Some guests have reported issues with hot water and false alarms.

I have worked over 10 years in hotels including Director of Front Office. The experience here was amazing and although our check in agent was new, she was great! You all are doing a great job all around.

LOVE the historical vibe with the old key boxes and mail slots, mixed with all the modern comforts. Had a great experience in the restaurant as well. Only suggestion...Need to get all 3 elevators up and running again. The one elevator on a Sunday morning led to some pretty lengthy delays.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean with a courteous staff. Within walking distance to downtown Tampa. (Appx 1 mile) Would definitely recommend and would stay again , if needed. Only con, parking is very expensive and for the price of the room it should be included or A LOT less.

staff was wonderful as soon as i arrived around noon and checked me into a room honoring my requests. The area is def very noisy at night unfortunately. I did stay on a weekend . Noticed it was noisier on saturday night vs sunday. Motorcycles were constantly going by or close by making a lot of noise. There was also a weird soft muffled banging noise in the room i stayed in. I personally did not like the area the hotel was situated in. Some areas i did not feel safe walking around as a solo female traveler. The hotel itself is beautiful. The room is gorgeous and clean. Staff was helpful. Please note i was always in a rush when i was there because i had a schedule i was going by. Please be mindful that people are on vacation here so things will be slower. If you want a more fast paced hotel i’d stay somewhere else. The restaurant was delicious. The shuttle was so helpful to have. The driver always came to my rescue when i called him. It was overall a good stay.

This is a beautiful property in Downtown Tampa! First road trip and out of state concert (BTS tings 🫰🏽✨) and I wanted to stay somewhere near the venue, but also a really nice hotel. THIS is the place!! Amazing historical architecture inside and out, friendly staff, nice rooms and great eats. I felt so fancy ✨

The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. I felt that the hotel charges for everything. They had ballet parking but it is $45 each night once your car is parked. They offer free breakfast voucher at the hotel

My stay was short for one night checking in around 5p and checking out the following morning at 5a -- so literally a night's sleep. Check in was non-eventful. However, the check out was somewhat strange. Although I went to the front desk to check out and receive a receipt on demand it was not available. I was informed that internal systems were down to update the evening's data, hence not available to process my check out. I left with the attendant my email for the confirmation to be sent. My daughter was also there at same time as I with same itinerary planned, check in and check out; and she also was not able to check out. I like to review the charges and prefer to personally check out and this was a prime example of why. So the hotel had charged my daughter for valet parking when it was we did not use valet and used the neighboring parking lot to keep our vehicle; and there was much confusion in the two bills with duplication of taxes being charged for EACH item on the bill. A state tax and OCC tax for each item is charged. So for Destination fee the state and OCC taxes follow + for Tourism Fee the state & OCC follow again. It just feels like your getting charged almost as much taxes as you are ridiculously inflated fees. What was to be a $215 room charge for the one night resulted in $285. Other than the inflated billing, my stay was pleasurable. Clean rooms, glamorous decor and convenience to the arena which was the reason we booked to attend a concert.

Nice large room and bathroom. Some traffic noise. Our toilet didn't flush good and by the middle of the night was totally broken and running we had to keep the doors shut. Also the alarm went off at 5:00 in the morning they still have old school alarm clocks I'm surprised the housekeeping doesn't check that that was very upsetting after being at a concert late night. When I told the receptionist the next morning I just got an "oh sorry". Over a hotel is nice parking is pricey. The restaurant was good.

Room - 4.3 Bathroom - 3.9 Staff - 3.9 Breakfast - n/a Bar - I had wine the glass was very clean - 5 Restaurant - 3.8 Was kind of like a sophisticated / Applebee's mash up vibe. That goes for food and set up. It is very open so if you like hidey hole seating may not be the vibe unless you call to reserve seats. Gym - 5 - It was nice! Had all the basics and the water was pretty nice, that's from a true #waterdrinker!

The entire property has been overhauled, leaving little to be desired. I can understand upgrading, but to literally remove all the characteristics of the hotel’s history is disheartening. The first room we were in smelled like mold and mildew, with frayed carpeting. The second room we were moved to had a piercing sound that the maintenance man couldn't figure out, and said the same issue was on multiple floors. My husband realized it was the refrigerator compressor after unplugging the refrigerator. It stopped. We made sure to let the front desk know what was going on so that all the other floors could be corrected. We were given breakfast for two at the Dan. Lots of hidden fees that were not explained up front. The total out of pocket coat as a FL resident was over $1000 just to sleep there for two nights? Valet parking was also not explained, so we made sure to let the front desk know that all required amenities be explained to all guests. It was stated there was a large sign that you can’t miss? Well on Friday night that was not the case. The worst part about the whole thing is this is supposed to be a completely redone and overhauled hotel for the better???

Loved the attention to detail in this property. Food excellent in the bar. Staff welcomed us warmly and could not do enough to help during our stay. There was not a lot in the area immediately around the hotel but it was very walkable to restaurants and bars and to the River Walk.

The room was spacious. The bathroom was big and clean.. bed was very comfortable and the AC in room was great! The Tv didnt connect, and no I didn't call the front desk. Other than that the small issue i had on the bill the front desk too care of it immediately, upon check out. Last thing, the eggs for breakfast.... they were mixed eggs not fresh. Very disappointing, for a restaurant to not he able to scramble eggs and it be a mix.

Arrival was confusing, they have a valet area but if you have luggage from a Taxi/Uber the proper entrance is round the corner so some proper signage needs adding. Lobby could be stunning and grand but it is overlit and rather stark, its a lovely building totally under presented which is a real shame, it could be a rather nice hub/heart of the hotel with better lighting/seating/flowers. Room was a good size and more than acceptable with a nice comfortable bed and good bedding. Air-con worked well and the bathroom was a good size although a modernisation and addition of a walk-in shower would be a good improvement. The Dan is the dining option, breakfast was acceptable but limited in menu choice and rather quiet but that could be the pricing which was pretty high. I think there are better choices in Tampa, we would in future stay elsewhere.

10/10 recommendation! Old fashion look with very up to date rooms. Great stay

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and our room was spotless! Also, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although they were almost at capacity for a wedding, they were able to take care of everything we needed. I will definitely suggest Hotel Flor to anyone planning a visit to Tampa. Hotel Flor is a gorgeous historic building with beautiful accommodations. We needed early luggage storage while we waited for our room, and that was very helpful. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. We were able to check in prior to our scheduled time, when the room was ready. Our room exceeded our expectations. Located in the CBD, we enjoyed the River Walk, Tampa Theater and a local restaurant. All within walking distance. We would highly recommend Hotel Flor, and will stay there again.

I’m almost afraid to tell you how great this hotel is for fear of a constant waitlist. From the minute you pull up to valet you know you made the right choice. Sexy, cool ambiance, friendly staff, great bar and food, comfy bed, thick walls because of the good bones of this restored hotel. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Very friendly staff at the front desk and love the old style feel of the hotel that they kept. Room was very comfortable, and restaurant downstairs was good value food. We like walking so for us was great to do the river walk, and all the restaurants and aquarium that were close enough for us.

We loved the newly remodeled hotel. It was very clean and well lit. The Dan Restaurant on the first floor was really good. We had breakfast there and it was a wonderful experience. You can't go wrong with the Eggs Benedict! Valet was friendly and professional. We stayed on the ninth floor and for some reason we had to let the hot water run for about ten minutes before it actually got hot. Not sure if there was an issue with the hot water. On the 3rd day it seems as if the problem was solved because the hot water got hot in about 30 seconds. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel. Highly recommended!

Location is about the only redeemable quality about this place. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this property. The place is borderline uninhabitable. One functional 5x5 elevator in a 19 story building, air conditioning hardly works (thermostat says “clean filter”), no ice on any floor, dirty bathrooms, all for $600 a night. If this wasn’t the only remaining available room in the area this weekend I would’ve left after check in. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, so this is no reflection on them, but the property is an absolute dump under the guise of “historic”. If you want comfort and amenities that you’d assume come with a $600 a night hotel, do not stay in this glorified Fairfield Inn.
- 3/5
Older renovated hotel. Bed and bedding pretty uncomfortable. Bird poop all over windows and sills. Bathroom pretty small and tight. Staff very friendly tho. All in all pretty fair. Not great

Hostile Check-in: I called ahead to confirm a late check-in, yet the valet was incredibly rude upon my arrival. He tried to block me from entering, insinuating I wasn’t a guest and demanding a room key before I had even been allowed to check in. Safety & Noise: At 8:00 AM, maintenance began drilling into the brick wall directly outside my window. My 6-month-old baby was sleeping in a crib inches from that wall. The noise was so deafening that when I called the front desk to complain, I couldn't even hear the staff member on the phone. Clueless Management: The front desk had no idea work was even being performed. It’s unprofessional and careless to book guests—especially those with infants—in rooms adjacent to active construction without any warning or courtesy. Save your money. There is a total lack of internal communication here, and they clearly do not value their guests’ experience. On top of that they will string you along and have you talk to managers who verbally tell you they will process a refund to get you to stop emailing. To proceed to not honor anything stated. Avoid this hotel.

We called down to the front desk to see if they could send up some utensils for some food that we brought back to our room and they said they/ house keeping doesn’t do that. We would have to come down to the front desk to get them. Normally, those things don’t bother me, however when you’re paying 400+ dollars a night for a room, you expect a little more help than this. Otherwise, it was a great location, very convenient to what we were doing, and they even offered a free shuttle within a certain radius of the city to go to certain sites and then pick you up.

The hotel itself was beautiful very clean. As far as bringing my belongings in. Now that’s where it got difficult. I think if you’re paying $45 a night for a valet and I didn’t use it except for to get there and to leave. I would’ve liked someone to take my belongings up to the room with me. I don’t know if the coffee shop is a part of the hotel. When I went down there, there was only one lady in front of me and two girls working there in the lack of greeting or at least saying I’ll be with you. No smiles acted like she was under stress. Or that I may be rich because I’m staying there. In reality, I work every day too. I was staying there to go to a doctors appointment at Tampa General. I was just disappointed in the girl that worked in the coffee shop and I could’ve used a little bit more help on getting my things up to the room. I’m not saying I will not come to your hotel again, but I really think the valley or other people should help you up to the room. My doctors appointment ran a little later than I expected. I got back at 11 something and the cleaning lady already asked my sister who was still in the room waiting for me to get back. Does she know what time checkout is that she needs to be leaving? And then no sooner I got back. I got a call from the front desk asking me when I was going to check out. I just felt very rushed. I didn’t feel comfortable the way I should have. Let’s just put it this way. Pricewise would be the only way I would come back.

Pricewise would be the only way I would come back.

room 1906 was so spacious and lovely. The staff at check out with kind keeping out luggage. The bed was nice, comfortable with nice linens. Loved the furniture in the room, bathroom was spacious. Lovely large windows and view I wish they had bell service. The Den was a good restaurant but more kid options/dessert would be nice. The charm of the hotel was intact but modern convenience was there too! I would stay again- easy to walk to the Straz Center. The club on the corner was a little loud (Echo) and lots of trash the next day was dissappointing- the hotel can't control that but it's too bad. More lighting in room needed.

The hotel is very nice. Everyone was very helpful. Will tell friends and family.
- 5/5
Air conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable, the room was larger than I thought it would be. The entire stay was very comfortable. The staff were very kind and very fast. The location was fantastic, easy to walk everywhere. Lots of restaurants. The river was very close and easy to walk to. Overall I would highly recommend it and I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The breakfast was not free and it was terrible. Hotel was clean and staff super friendly. I would stay again, just not have breakfast at The Dan. Terrible food, bad service. Stay away
- 4/5
The hotel is nearing its 100-year anniversary, and the original décor and rooms are absolutely beautiful. That said, the required valet parking—at $45 per day with no other options—is outrageously expensive.
- 5/5
Loved this place!!!
- 4/5
We absolutely loved the location—it was perfect for getting around. The on-site restaurant was excellent, and every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The room was very spacious and comfortable, which made the stay even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.
- 5/5
Got here early and the nice gal got us checked in anyway. Had a suite - 19th floor windows on 2 sides overlooking city. Suite was incredible and honestly not expensive! More room in it than some apartments. Spotlessly clean. Couches. 2 tvs. Separate rooms for living area and work area from bedroom. Service was excellent. We did street parking bc it was cheaper than valet and the valet lot is unsecured so no sense to use that. Walking distance to the tampa bay lightning game. 100% would stay again. One of my favorite hotels/rooms we have visited.
- 5/5
Staff was great, the room was beautiful and it was near everything I wanted to see.

The coffee shop open 2 hours late on Monday morning - selection was not great
- 5/5
Room was perfect. Service was excellent.
- 4/5
Stay was comfortable, room was clean, and quiet. Only downfall is parking. Listing doesn’t provide adequate info about parking. Only parking available is “Valet Park”, and they drive it 5 seconds to a lot and require they keep the keys of the vehicle. This was $40 a night and to not have my keys to the vehicle made me uncomfortable.
- 4/5
The Room and Staff is amazing!! I give it a 4star because I got a junior suite that was almost 400$ a night but when you check in they charge another 75$ for things you don't use. If I'm paying that much for a room I feel like certain things should be included. I'm talking about the water they give for the room and the Internet. I feel like that should come with the room and valet parking is over priced, they get over on you. At night it's 40$ but they'll charge you an extra 10$. That wasn't included in the tip I gave... Overall the hotel and view is very clean and beautiful. They don't tell you some things when booking online so keep that in mind.

Very clean, location
- 5/5
Wow! What a beautiful place! I sadly forgot to get her name but the front desk lady that checked us in was SO kind! She let us check in even though we were obnoxiously early! And she didn’t have one negative thing to say about it either! The room was beautiful, well worth the value and clean. I was walking with multiple cups in my hand and staff that were in the lobby insisted they help me! It was just a great stay! If I come back to Tampa I will certainly stay here again
- 1/5
Hated this property. Parking terrible, hallways terrible, elevators take forever, no hot water. Just terrible
- 5/5
Super cute hotel! Loved the daily cookie, the breakfast, and the cafe.
- 2/5
No hot water, fridge in room didn’t work, parking $40 a night. And you have to unload your car and then carry all your stuff down the side of the street, up two flights of stairs to check in, then wait for an elevator that may take 5 minutes to come and if you have multiple bags, you can’t ride with other people so you have to wait.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel and the staff were fantastic!
- 5/5
super nice hotel! loved my stay!
- 5/5
Really good accommodations!
- 1/5
Water cold and we asked for help several times
- 3/5
Needs to assess parking situation and water pressure in the hotel
- 5/5
This hotel property was in a great location. Walkable to many shopping and sightseeing options. Hotel has shuttle service. We chose to use the TECO streetcar to visit the Aquarium. This is free to use and has many stops along the route. This may not be the best choice for families with small children as it has no pool. The hotel is a historical building in downtown Tampa. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
When you book you get 2 complimentary bottles of water, $15 credit for food or drinks, 2 hr bicycles, and a free shuttle anywhere in a 3 mile radius.
- 5/5
Loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel itself has a very nice restaurant and bar with a cafe as well. Our room was large and very well maintained. Other than hearing the traffic outside the room was quiet. Perfect location for walking to and from destinations. If you didn’t want to walk the hotel offers a free shuttle service up to 3 miles which we utilized. Only downside was having to pay $40 a day for valet service which wasn’t an option. Would definitely recommend staying here.
- 5/5
No Jacuzzi
- 5/5
got in at nighttime. Did not see the area around the hotel. Grabbed dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. I did not encounter any staff except the at check in, which was nicely done.
- 4/5
The staff was excellent but the elevators were horrible especially when you are having to be somewhere. On the third day my partner got stuck in the elevator and it ruined the whole day because he is very claustrophobic and has anxiety. We had to cancel our outing for that day
- 3/5
The hotel is ok if your not there to relax or maybe have a swim, not close to any beaches. Located in a businesses district. This hotel does not have any parking for the people staying there. To ask for parking on the side of the building for 40.00 a night is absurd. I would not recommend this, also the breakfast buffet was given as a option with reservations but they have no buffet at all. I had a 400.00 deposit hold when checking in, 7 days later still no money back yet. My account now shows that 363.00 was taken completely come out of my account. The room was left completely clean. I will never suggest or stay here again. Very disappointing from PA to FL not a please stay. Also the elevators and super slow, one person waited shy of 30 mins for 1 of 3 elevators to come.
- 3/5
Decent stay for the price other than the destination charge and a hold of 300 dollars on your card, returned after stay
- 5/5
Elevators were a huge issue. Very slow, one day I had to wait 10 minutes for one. The next day the main elevators were not working. The only elevator that was working was a service elevator that had to service all 18 floors. I had to use the stairs to get down. I needed to check out by 7 and had to carry my suitcase and stuff down the stairs because the one working elevator never came.
- 5/5
Olor peculiar en los pasillos
- 5/5

- 3/5
It was beautiful. There were a few things wrong: Elevators weren’t working well, the room controls wouldn’t work and I was in the right room (The TV didn’t work and I couldn’t control the AC), the toilets didn’t flush well, I paid 200.00 for what exactly?? It was very clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
I will not be staying here ever again.
- 5/5
Dope hotel
- 5/5
- 3/5
The property is beautiful but there were lots of structural issues when I stayed. The elevators constantly broke down and it took me one hour and 30 minutes on the day I was leaving because only one elevator worked.
- 3/5
Bradley could be a little nicer, one of the managers I think..was rude, impatient.. He will keep me from staying there again.
- 4/5
Well preserved, scaffolding around building.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle service and valet was convenient. Our room was spacious and well kept. The Dan and coffee shop were lacking but that was really the only issues we ran into during our stay.
- 5/5
Exceptional service
- 5/5
loved hotel beautiful
- 4/5
Above average
- 4/5
The rooms were very comfortable. There was construction, which was a bit challenging. The workout room was great.
- 5/5
Beyond happy with this hotel- it’s in a great location (walking distance to restaurants and sites) and is a beautiful historic building that has been stylishly renovated. Our room was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. There’s a nice restaurant and cute coffee shop on site, staff members were friendly and kind, and there’s a free shuttle for guests to use. Would 100% stay here again.
- 5/5
Very clean, great gym
- 4/5
Gave me a free drink for my trouble. The new room still had wings in the window seal. But that didn't bother me.So I just kept the new room. I did forget to mention that there was a crack in the top left corner of my window near the tv in room 508. Nicholas was great. So was all the other staff. He was the only name that I caught though. Breakfast was a little pricey, even with a $15 credit.
- 4/5
My only issue was with the bathtub faucet and pulling the part to turn on the shower. It needs to be repaired in room 1702 so people don't have to pull really hard because someone will end up breaking it very soon if they don't fix it
- 5/5
Nice hotel and nice service.
- 5/5
Nice

The hot water didn’t work and
- 3/5
Like the modeling of the hotel. I did not like that there are hidden fees and if you book through Expedia, they charge on top of what you paid through Expedia, a deposit of $100. They charge an inconvenience fee as well and valet is mandatory.. I don’t like anyone driving my car, that should be optional. They also charge $40 for parking!!! Too many hidden fees!! My tub looked as if it was not scrubbed and a couple of hairs left in the tub from previous customers!!
- 4/5
Vintage
- 4/5
The room was very spacious and clean, we also had a great view. The hotel in general is very nice, recently renovated and clean, the only complaint was about the A/C in the room that was not cooling, we contacted the reception and they sent someone that help with the issue. Also the parking is through a Valet all the time and they charged you by night, there is not enough space to parking. In general we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Loved the history of the hotel. Room was lovely and very large.
- 4/5
Overall good, valet took a little too long to get our car both times.
- 3/5
The property was nice enough. However when we arrived the hot water didn't work. We were moved to two different rooms for a total of 3. The third room had barely lulewarm water until the last two days. Then they didnt comr and clean our room for multiple days. Luckily we werent there kuch but even when i brought it to their attention they missed the theis day in a roe of cleaning. They tried to make up for it with a $20 breakfast voucher but that really wasnt enough.
- 2/5
Overpriced for the value you actually receive staying here. Not the best Hilton product I've experienced.
- 5/5
Great property
- 5/5
It was great and room service was great
- 5/5
Great hotel and rooms
- 5/5
Nice and clean
- 4/5
The only note I’d like to make is parking is an additional 40 dollars a night with no other viable alternative. This parking is also valet parking and every time I tried to get my vehicle which was 3 times, I nearly missed a reservation due to valet traffic.
- 5/5
Lovely room, great size bathroom, comfy bed. Helpful staff and a really great breakfast
- 4/5
It was ok
- 5/5
One night stay was great. Would definitely go back if in the area.
- 4/5
What I did have an issue with was the parking. I went to return my car rental, and there was a huge scratch on the passenger side. I was already at the airport, so there was nothing I could do at that point. I picked up my car after checking out, and it took, oddly, a very long time, so the car was not in the lot behind the building. In retrospect, I should have inspected the car then because I had my suspicions. Otherwise, the hotel was great!
- 5/5
Excellent rooms
- 5/5
Nice property
- 5/5
Loved the historical aspect of property. Beautiful property.
- 5/5
I’m absolutely thrilled with the hotel. I loved everything — the room, the hotel itself, and the service. Everything is clean, everything smells nice. The design is very unique and interesting. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
- 2/5
Breakfast restaurant very bad customer service, rude server female can even said good morning to us when we arrived to the entrance. After 10 minutes waiting in front of her face and her male coworker, I said good morning did you have any table? He said wait a minute. After 15 minutes we finally get a table in a almost empty restaurant. Food very bad quality and watered down cappuccino.
- 3/5
In a central place in downtown Tampa. But I did not like Tampa at all so it did not mean so much to me. 40$ per night valet parking is available. Other parking places around are cheaper. So, hotel valet parking is not recommended. Additional descendant cost or whatsoever is $31.95 per NIGHT. And they do not even provide toothbrush or slippers. So it is expensive, too. The hotels buffet is very small and when we tried to eat there but any of the waiters did not come to take orders. So we left after 20 mins of waiting. Overall, if it is too important to be in the center of Tampa, you may choose but otherwise it is an expensive but mediocre service hotel.
- 1/5
They had these $30 daily fees, that were not described at time of purchasing the room. When asked at the front desk, the desk manager was real sassy about it and very condescending. The rooms that my friend stayed in did not have hot water for two days. The elevator situation was crazy. The hotel did have some nice history about it and the room was clean. My friends asked for two queens and when we got there, they actually had to give them an extra room because they hadn’t saved a room with two queen beds in it by the time we checked in would I stay there again probably not. I stay in a lot of Hilton hotels when traveling not to mention so does my family.
- 4/5
The breakfast can be better
- 3/5
The Hotel is beautiful, well kept, except for the elevators, and the key system that keeps leaving “people not only me and my party” trapped . The Keys were demagnetized several times. And I also had numerous charges in my credit card that have no idea why $74.55 x 4 . Unable to contact the hotel I was on hold for 25 min and still drop my call!!! I had 3 rooms so it was not just one room!
- 5/5
Loved the room and view..
- 5/5
Nick at the front desk helped resolve a booking error. He was great!
- 4/5
When I went there was construction and why is there a $30 resort fee? This does not have the amenities of a resort. I like the location
- 4/5
The service should be better, and the employees need to be more friendly. However, the property is in good condition and is confortable.
- 2/5
The shower water pressure was that of a garden hose and the water was barely like warm. The bed sheets had stains covering them and the blankets. The parking was extremely limited and unsafe. For the price of the hotel we were extremely disappointed
- 5/5
The staff has been so attentive and wonderful. Very clean room. Definitely a recommend!
- 3/5
Staff was super friendly but the room smelled musty and there was a day party going on lasting all day into the evening and it was unreasonably loud.
- 5/5
Amazing and beautiful hotel. Love the historic foundation it’s built upon. Friendly staff. Had an issue with the water and they fixed it immediately. Clean and beautiful.
- 4/5
Amazing front desk help. Restaurant staff hit or miss. Nice rooms.
- 3/5
$40 for parking in an unsafe area and $20 plus tip for 2 beers was ridiculous.
- 4/5
Walkable
- 5/5
We like how they keep as much of the original construction and blended it with modern. Very clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
This historic hotel has been renovated and is beautiful. The staff was helpful and kind. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and staff is friendly.
- 2/5
On a positive note, the shuttle driver was friendly and very accommodating, which made our experience better. However, we also encountered issues with the shower's water pressure and difficulty in heating the water to a comfortable temperature-water was colder than we expected. Self parking is not an option in their lot-you are forced to valet at a high rate. Overall, while our stay was decent, I believe there are other hotels at this price point that offer higher-quality rooms and amenities.
- 1/5
The hotel should offer a discount, but won’t because they say “you booked thru a 3rd party” Expedia should be letting people know??? $430 per night, for a hotel under construction? NEVER AGAIN
- 5/5
Great stay wish they would of helped finding the remote for the tv
- 5/5
Over all a great experience
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Very unique property old world 1920s vibe. Would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
The air conditioning unit was rather loud and kept the room relatively cool. However at night under the comforter the whole family became hot but the ac blew too much to keep the covers off.
- 5/5
Definitely would stay here again. Good location and great hotel
- 5/5
Spacious room close to the performing arts center.
- 4/5
Staff is accommodating and friendly. Due to construction on the outside it was a little challenging to find the entrance. We had no notification that there was no available onsite parking but that it was valet only. Lastly once in the room it felt like a personalized high end stay.
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and made us extremely welcome. He explained about locations of restaurants etc. A very nice guy!
- 5/5
It is a cute hotel. The rooms are big and everything is clean. Everyone was nice and helpful
- 3/5
Upon check in, they couldn't find me in the system, so had to wait a while. Paid for the Breakfast Buffet for 2, and it wasn't listed. They said it was showing them that I had 1 guest, instead of 2. I was issued a free breakfast for 1, and I had credit for $15. It didn't show.
- 1/5
Old construction
- 5/5
We had made a Vrbo reservation back in July for this weekend. Things happen and the owner had taken there place off of Vrbo unbeknownst to us. We booked this hotel at the last minute and were very pleased. Ended up even closer to our family and the wedding venue we travelled in for. Vrbo, hotels.com and Hilton took excellent care of us.
- 5/5
Charming hotel. Great rooms and staff is very accommodating.
- 1/5
Valet parking in and out was nightmare. Long waits, understaffed. Tried to hold my car hostage at the end requiring me to pay, even though hotel had charged me. Systems were down at checkout no way to confirm extra charges. Bar understaffed, long waits. Closed early while we were there, 9:30 on a Friday night. Lone person behind the bar was fed up. Ultimately said no more drinks will be served, then said don't worry about the bill I am leaving. No water in the rooms. Used bell boy to unload car. Tipped him while we waited to checkin in the lobby, so he then left me with the full cart for me to take my own luggage to my room. Lesson learned there. Tip only after the job is done. Needed litterly a paper clip while in the lobby at one point. Asked for one from the front desk. Was met with "we just dont hand those out, they are for our usage". Really, a paper clip??? No change for a $20 either. "We dont provide change". Worst experience in years. I dont typicall write reveiws. Felt compelled to for this location. Avoid at all costs, other options in the area for the same price, better value and more customer orientation.
- 5/5
Me and my wife love old hotels and this is one of our favorite we’ve ever been to. Beautiful building! Nicolas checked us in and gave us OUTSTANDING service. I never leave reviews, but this stay warranted it. This is our first choice next time we’re in the Tampa area
- 3/5
Stunning interior, great service, nice rooms, very clean. Not so great $40 a night parking and $34 amenities fee.
- 4/5
Lovely century hotel that celebrates its original period well. Good food. Had trouble with the television, but maintenance arrived in a reasonable time. Neighborhood seems a bit run down, making this building a bright spot.
- 1/5
When I checked-in, I asked if my Hilton Honors number was in the reservation. They said no, so I gave it to the front desk person and told him to add it. I was also told that basic internet was free. Upon checkout, they said because I booked through hotel.com, they could could not add my HH #. I was additionally charged $30 per day "destination fee" - which they said was for the internet and beverages etc. They had already told me the basic internet was free when I checked in and the room fridge was empty. There were 2 small water bottles on the table. I will never stay at a Hilton property again.
- 5/5
It’s beautiful Hotel full of character. Great restaurant on the first floor with Lounge entertainment. Very walkable to other great restaurants. The staff are absolutely amazing.
