Our room was exceptional - as we had the top floor corner room with 2 rooms and a full kitchen. We had to do laundry, get dinner and be ready to cruise in the morning and everything happened flawlessly. They even have a shuttle to take us to the cruise port!

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. We were only in for one night and they treated us like family. The room rooms were clean and very spacious with a fantastic view.

It was very good overall. Very clean, cleaning staff very nice and accommodating. My biggest issue is our room had what was supposed to be a queen size bed (seemed smaller) in the huge handicap room with the sleeper sofa which worked out fine for mom who's handicapped. The living space was ridiculously large and I could've parked a small car in it so way more than enough room for a wheelchair and plenty for a king size bed. The bathroom seat was nice but a bit cumbersome if you had disability.

This is our go-to place to stay in Tampa. Location is perfect for concerts at Benchmark Arena and walking distance to many restaurants, bars, things to do. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Always very clean and parking is convenient.

Such a friendly and helpful staff - from the cleaning staff to the front desk. I have traveled a lot and have never been checked into a room so quickly. My room was clean and I had a great view of the city from my reasonably priced room. I had to run before breakfast, but I heard positive reviews from ny other travelers.

This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay prior to boarding our cruise and they allowed us to hang out for the day we disembarked the cruise ship until our flight home.

Ines and the fine man (sorry, forgot his name) ant the front desk are exemplary examples of hospitality. Kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They made my stay memorable. If I owned a hotel, I’d try my hardest to “steal” these two people away from you - they are A+. See you in a few months! (Breakfast and cruise ship shuttles were convenient and great, too.)

The hotel should have more luggage carts. Everyone checks out at the same time and parking is very limited for loading and unloading. Additionally, many guests are leaving for cruises, so they take ans keep the carts while awaiting shittles.

The front staff person wasn’t very friendly when we checked in. I booked two suites for family and myself. My son-in-law said “what’s her problem”? Maybe she was having an off day.

Breakfast was excellent, great shuttle to cruise port, bed comfortable. The only issue was road noise. The hard scape on the buildings made the noise worse, but there is nothing that can be done about that. If we were taking another cruise out of Tampa, we would stay here again.

Location was convenient for cruise terminal, staff was amazing on checkin and for cruise transport. Pool was overrun by children for the only night we were there or we would have used the hot tub. It was after 10 and they were still running around. Would stay again.

Everything about the hotel was fine, but my biggest complaint is location. Loud cars outside with their stereos blaring kept me awake until 2 AM.

The property has a great location. It is close the convention center but you would need to uber there since is definitely not that close. My room had a steady noise the whole time and I think it was the fridge. They never fixed it so I learned how to sleep with it. The staff were not rude, but not friendly. Only nice Spanish accent lady the last day was great with customers. During the day the front desk staff scream really loud the name of the families ready to be checked in, as I was walking out one of them literally screamed in my ear, no apologies.

Only fruit choices were an apple or a banana. Have a small selection of goodies in the lobby store for sale if you need a late evening ice cream. It weas useful to have a CVS across the street for items we forgot packed. If you get an uber at the airport give him the address because there are 2 Home 2's in Tampa. We were taken to the wrong one near the airport not Channel district. They arranged transportation to the Cruise terminal if that is where you are going, Very efficient and inexpensive. There are 3 or 4 restaurants in the area, but found the Irish Pub down the street with a varied menus at a decent price was good.

its an ok budget hotel but the sound proofing is terrible. Traffic, hallways and room next door are easily heard. i could even hear next door open and close there blinds, thats how bad the sound proofing is. it wasnt a terrible hotel, but i wouldnt stay here again.

We went on a cruise.We stayed two nights.Staff was wonderful was very clean. The hidden secret is, when you come back from your cruise, you can call them. And they'll come and pick you up and let you stay until your flight. They hold your luggage. It's a very good thing for them to do.

We were in Tampa due to a canceled flight and found Home 2 Suites on line. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the hotel, the breakfast and location. We will be back if we ever come to Tampa again.

Due to flight cancellations, we were stranded at Tampa and needed accommodations where 2 people could work remotely. Not only was the room perfectly set up to host us for two days with a seperate bedroom, work station and dining table, the staff here is top notch! I cannot express enough how wonderful the front desk staff is!! Breakfast was perfect every morning and working from our room was easy and we were able to take calls without interrupting one another. Great property, great location and EXCELLENT staff!!

The location was ideal for Cruisers. It was a 20 minute ride from the airport and a 15 minute drive to the port. The sheets and comforter did not smell clean nor fresh! There were several hairs in the bathroom sink and shower!

The front desk staff are the best. Also, the driver that took us to the pier to board our ship was great and told us to call the hotel when we got back from our cruise even though we weren’t staying there again. Hilton app makes checking in easy- Hotel was very loud, the street noise kept me up both nights. Cars and motorcycles ripping up and down the streets all evening! The parking was not working properly and I was charged even though I did not park, the room was not the cleanest.

We stayed the night before our cruise and the staff was absolutely amazing. The made sure we knew where good kid friendly restaurants were. They helped be pick a restaurant for ordering delivery. The shuttle driver was so sweet and helpful, he even let us know he'd pick us up after the cruise so we could store our luggage. When we got back from the cruise they picked us up within minutes of calling. They stored our luggage, gave us access to breakfast and the pool. Above and beyond amazing. I was hesitant to fly and stay before a cruise (we normally drive) but they took away all my stress.

The room was nice, but you could hear ALL of the road noise. We had a very difficult time sleeping due to the road noise.

Home2Suites by Hilton, in my limited but recent experience, is worth coming back to. Fridge, hot plate (available upon request), double well sink, dishwasher, plates, bowls, etc. all right there for an extended stay at a "reasonable" price (could always be better, right?). Just a hop skip and a jump from the cruise terminals is an added plus. The free breakfast was more than expected and mch appreciated and there is an in house Starbucks. Not much more than one could ask for.

Loved our stay here. Michaela in Guest Services was wonderful. The room was spotless, the pool is amazing. Having a fire pit was an absolute bonus. We watched the sunrise while sitting in the pool deck area by the fire pit and it was wonderful. Breakfast is hot and very well stocked and cleaned. I loved that pool towels were available right at the pool entrance/exit. Anything we needed was brought right away (extra blankets and towels). Having parking right on site in downtown was super helpful. My kids, mom, and I absolutely loved our stay here and my kids are already planning next years trip!

EAGLES VS. TAMPA BAY. Guys trip. Hotel did not let me down. Location was great. Close to entertainment. Staff very friendly, can't remember the young ladies name, however she provided great tips for areas to visit and things to do around time. I would definitely recommend this place.

Clean spaces. Rooms could use some updates. Staff was not welcoming. “Name. I need the card for incidentals.” Handed over the keys. There was another staff that appeared to be more friendly toward guests as they walked it. Thankfully another guest explained that I needed to use my room key to get the elevator to work.

A big hat tip to Tyesha… I probably didn’t get the spelling right. After a long long long night of missed flights and rerouting from Cleveland to Denver to Tampa, we finally made it to your facility about 8 o’clock in the morning. We needed sleep before we got to our cruise and there was absolutely no problem in checking in this late… Or early (lol). Ask for a little Lee and see on checkout so we could get a good few hours of sleep. Your shuttle staff is also extremely wonderful.

ZooTampa and the Florida Aquarium are just a few miles away. The Seminole Hard Rock Cafe is maybe 20 min away. Several fantastic restaurants are within walking distance. Being near the Port, we met several people staying just one night waiting to depart on a cruise the following day. We stayed 7 days and really enjoyed the flexibility of having a well appointed kitchenette. We were able to reheat leftovers or make popcorn for an in room movie.

We just returned from a weekend stay. Shout out to Alicia at the front desk. She made check in a breeze and was so sweet with my daughter. We've stayed at this location before and it's perfect for people heading to the Arena, cruise ships, and Florida Aquarium. All are just a 15 minute walk. There's a CVS right across the street, which is convenient. A few restaurants are also just walking distance away. We'd definitely stay here again!

The only issue I had was the cross contamination of the food at breakfast. As a person who has a egg allergy, allowing people to mix the spoon has deadly consequences for me.

Our room was nice, clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beware a couple homeless people hanging out asking for help when we walked to dinner.

Be Aware: The elevators can be super busy and require a wait during peak times (especially in the morning). Houskeeping is every-other day. They come at 9:00 am to service your room on your assigned days and it can be burdensome to get them to come back and service the room later that day. Bad: Water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the bathroom lighting was poor (bring a makeup mirror). One of the breakfast attendants was particularly cranky with guests every day.

It was great ifew weeks ago i had a horrible stay at another hotel. But this was a great stay.

We took our two kids on a weekend getaway and had a great time. Plenty of room for our little group.

Great place to stay before going on a cruise. Really nice clean place. Shuttle service was excellent. The only complaint is you hear a lot of road noise. It was hard to sleep hearing all the cars speeding down the street

Great staff, fantastic rooftop pool, excellent large comfortable room! This is a must stay if leaving on a cruise. Fabulous continental breakfast and complimentary shuttle to port.

We loved the pool. The room was big. We are able to walk to several places. The shuttle to the cruise terminal was great!

Hotel was great! Close to lots of things we could walk to. Great pool for all ages. Staff was nice and helpful. Corner suite was amazing especially at night. We could hear lots of noise from the roads nearby but the hotel was still worth the stay.

This hotel was really nice overall. It was in a good location and within walking distance to the Riverwalk. It was clean and modern. The only issue was the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. There should be some type of Vanity / Mirror with lighting for the ladies. The front desk staff was nice and the cleaning staff was excellent. I would also mention that if you are sensitive to traffic noise this might not be the area for you. Thats not the hotels fault , its just city traffic.

We were taking a cruise from the port of Tampa. The room was nice & spacious with a view of downtown Tampa and the pool. The pool was very nice and the breakfast was good. The shuttle to the port was a nice feature also. The thing we loved most about the hotel was allowing us to hang out there by the pool after we returned from the cruise & had an afternoon flight.

Terrific location for cruisers. Staff was beyond helpful and rooms were beautifully appointed. Beds were extremely comfy and we will definitely be back

Overall the hotel was nice. It would have been better if the pool area had more chairs and possibly some music. There were speakers hung around the pool but no sound.
