Hard to find a parking space at night. Parking spaces blocked with no reason. I did’n see nobody working on it.

Beware. I booked the king suite that has the stove a dining room and they gave me a reg king room. Then tired to convince me that was what I booked until I proved them wrong.long story short they claim they didn’t have any more suits available. The only accommodation I was given was two king rooms that connected but I still didn’t have the kitchen and dining area I needed. Waste of money.

I will stay here again for my next trip.

Perfect, new and clean. Only thing… TV turned on at 4am and woke us up. (Stayed at la Quinta some months ago, same price and really bad) so if you need a hotel in the area, this is a very recommended option!

Our room was located on the third floor near construction, and during the day the construction noise was loud and we were not told in advance that this was taking place. Our bathroom was disgusting. It was dirty, there was hair and dirt all over the floor, hair in and around the bathtub. There were red spotted stains on the bottom of shower curtain that looked like blood stains. Around one of the beds there was garbage on the floor that looked like the room had not even been cleaned. It was disgusting. We were there for my son’s college orientation and did not even feel comfortable enough to use the shower. In addition, we went to a Rays game the night of our stay and came back to the entire 3rd floor smelling like marijuana. That too, was disgusting. I’m very disappointed, I read the reviews prior to booking the room and it showed this hotel is being exceptional. In my opinion, it was far from that. I would say the only positive was the hotel staff. They were nice and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and offered a small discount for this room after I explained to the condition it was in. Although in my opinion, we should not have paid a cent for it. I would not go back there and I would definitely not refer anyone to stay there.

A little disappointed due to the room not being as advertised. Was expecting 1 separate bedroom from the pictures however it was just one big room. The bathroom was also pretty cramped and the floor was slippery; they had a small thing to stand on that didn’t cover the whole floor so almost fell a couple times. Also, parking spots are very small and there isn’t enough. Otherwise has a good experience.

Our room was clean and lots of towels!

There were several problems with the plumbing in my room. The drain did not drain in the tub, the water seemed to run all night on the toilet, and the faucet had a leak.

Our rooms were wonderful, the staff was beyond professional and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is directly across the street from the college. The staff was nice and helpful. We bought breakfast down stairs which wasn’t super expensive and was good.

Our bathroom had 2 dirty wash clothes in the shower with hair all over them. I complained about it and was told “oh sorry.” The ice machine was broken at the bar so I couldn’t get ice with my drink. Overall the place was rundown, dirty, poorly staffed. I would not stay here again.

The proximity to Moffitt Cancer Center was just what we needed.

This is a great hotel at a reasonable price. The roms were spacious and spotless, and the staff was quite helpful. Checking in was a breeze and so was checking out.

Our room was very pleasant and clean. The bathroom features were a little awkward. The soap dispenser and the lotion dispenser are we're just coming off the wall, so we reported that the cleaning crew rules were a little bit difficult.Once we had our sign out to sleep in, we took it off when we left.And then nobody came to clean it.And we were trying to figure that system out as well.But did not at the time of our departure.So we did, like our stay there.There was just little small idiosyncrasies, that we did not find pleasant

The standard rooms with non–walk-in showers have small bathtubs that require standing inside to shower, which I found inconvenient and less appealing. While the hotel overall was acceptable, it could benefit from updates. If I return to the area, I would likely choose a different hotel.

Room wasn’t very clean had hair stuck on the shower wall, tub/shower didn’t drain properly. We were put next to the elevator so all night long it sounded like someone dragging a piano across the ceiling. And then at checkout the front desk receptionist asked how my stay was I told her not very good…never asked what was wrong and never an apology? That was the last straw I never plan to stay at another Holiday Inn absolutely no respect for the customer!

We had an excellent experience at this Holiday Inn. The hotel and our room were very clean, the staff was very nice and the location was perfect. It will be our go to hotel when visiting the Tampa/USF area.

The staff was friendly. The room was very clean although it had a slight pee smell near the refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. A real bonus for a weary traveler was the bar area had hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and shrimp tacos. We ordered the burgers with fries and enjoyed them very much. we were so glad we didn’t have to drive to find a restaurant. We plan to stay here again. It is very convenient to be so close to the Moffitt Cancer Center.

Staff was pleasant. Room was nice and updated. Bathroom needs an update, throughout the hotel there is a very musty smell. Room and bathroom smelled like there has been water damage.

We did not take the breakfast option or used the pool. As indicated the hotel was clean and facilities in working order. However there were no basic cutlery in the room eg . I thought that given the room was equipped with a fridge and coffee maker, then at the very least there should be some teaspoon available in the room.

This seemed more like a budget property, with slow check-in, flimsy bed coverings, worn carpeting and damaged doors. Beyond that, I did not like this part of Tampa.

The room was clean and staff very friendly. I was given a room on the 1st floor (room #125)… it’s not the room I would recommend. With the room being close to the laundry room, you hear every conversation from the hospitality staff. While comfortable, the room was anything but quiet. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay however, would not recommend the room I had.

Reserved two queen, gave us a king with sofa bed. No other rooms available so we were stuck with that room. Staff was helpful but it was disappointing. Offered us free breakfast, which actually turned out to be nothing but a few pastries and coffee. Definitely not worth it.

The staff was very nice, Gisele in particular. Property was decent and in an OK area. I was shocked that I was charged $10 for parking…seriously just up charge the night stay on the front end, bad look for Holiday Inn. The room was nice but the bathroom was awkward and dirty around the door and switch worn out switch panels. Probably will not be staying at Holiday Inn’s moving forward.

I have stayed here 2 times because i am battling an aggressive Breast cancer and am going to Moffitt Cancer center just around the corner from hotel. The beds and pillows and rooms are perfect to help me with my comfort levels

The room was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived, but our stay became frustrating after that. We booked a room that sleeps four, with one king bed and a sofa bed. The pull-out had sheets but no pillows or blankets. After waiting an hour and going to the front desk, we were told the hotel didn’t have enough pillows for the sofa beds and were offered extra comforters to roll up and use instead. I was very surprised that a hotel would expect guests to sleep without pillows. The sofa bed was also quite uncomfortable, and hallway noise easily carried into the room. We’ll be visiting this area often, but unfortunately, we won’t be choosing this hotel again.

Originally booked courtyard, but upon arrival, I learned that there was a fire in the hotel and they did not even let me know. Had to book something nearby last minute. The experience with Holiday Inn was perfect from beginning to end. I arrived a little disappointed as one can imagine they quickly welcomed me and had my room ready to go. Keep in mind I booked this five minutes before arriving and they already had everything ready.Highly recommend if I can give it more than 10 stars I would. Would definitely stay again. Next time I come to Tampa.

Our experience with this property is excellent. Everything is perfect from the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the property. Will definitely recommend to friends and return during future trips.

Went for a concert at the Yuengling Center with my daughters. Staff was friendly, close to USF and mins away from venue. The neighborhood around the hotel was a little rough but felt safe even walking in from the parking lot at 1am. Everything was well lit and secure. We stopped at the little restaurant prior to heading to the concert. Give yourself extra time everything is made al a carte. We had the flatbread pizzas and they were made fresh and delicious. Plan on returning to this hotel when we go to Busch Gardens.

My daughter goes to USF, so the hotel is really convenient since is right in front, but the conditions of this hotel are not good. Really bad experience!!

Stay was good the staff was very nice and friendly its also pet friendly as well. I just didn't like my microwave wasn't working properly and when I ran out of body wash staff tried to give me hand soap to shower with.

When we checked in they gave us a room next to the elevator. We were moved to a different room, but not the suite we had before. The staff was attentive, but we would have preferred to be told it was not the same room type we had booked before we discovered it when we packed up and moved.

The hotel is basic but very clean and friendly staff! The restaurant is basically a bar that serves food in the evening but the food was excellent.

Was there for my wife medical procedure didn’t speed much time there. But was clean comfortable. The staff was pleasant.

This hotel was surprisingly clean and the room was immaculate. The bed and the pillows were absolutely comfortable. The shower was amazing and the room was very spacious. The only thing that was missing was hot cups for the coffee in the room.

The property is maintained good and everything was very clean and organized

Cockroach was in the bathroom and fruit flies were all over the room. Gym was disappointing, some dumbbells and a few cardio machines. Here and there in the hotel including the room was just not the cleanest. Floors and walls are so thin anyone talking or walking sounds like they are in the same room.

Forever helpful, the bathroom was super clean and all toiletries were full. Very quiet and accommodating, close to dine-in and togo fast foods.

The pool closed to early and the breakfast should be included in the hotel price not seperate.

We were in pjs for early night due to early am appointment, when fire alarm sent us into drizzling weather. Not their fault but after long wait due to needing a room with full bath it made for an unhappy stay.

Check in went very smooth with front desk staff able to answer my questions.

We checked in as my husband was having cancer surgery the next day. We got our room number and went upstairs. We entered the room and it hadn’t been cleaned beds weren’t made. A maid was us and told us it wasn’t ready. She made a call and told us to go back downstairs. I asked her if my husband could sit there and wait for me as he was exhausted. She said no and he had to go back downstairs just to be told to go back upstairs to a new room.

Great room. Comfortable king bed and a pull out sofa. The cable and WiFi worked well. Hot water in the shower. The only complaint I can have is the cheap laminate floor made sticky sucking noises as you walked across the room.

Pool was closed the whole time we were there and we were looking forward to it.

It was perfect for going to the Yingling stadium

Upon first entry, it seemed clean. Checked the bed sheets and everything was clean minus a pillow with a few tiny stains. Hardwood floors in the room were a new thing i have never experienced and hope i dont have to again. The people above us were stomping around until midnight. The bathroom was bot in the best condition. There was water damage on the baseboards and bottom of the door. Paint chips around the switch panel and door handles that were just painted over. Rust and holes around the shower/baseboards. Overall a decent place to stay for the price and for one night. Wouldn’t book again probably due to the noise level with the floors not being carpeted.

Convenient to USF and clean.

They ultimately gave me a small discount at check-out which was little compensation for spending 4 days sleeping on the couch watching Netflix on my phone... The maintenance person said it's a known issue, I honestly didn't know how to interpret that comment, I guess it's OK if they already know the issue exists :-)

I realize there is a staffing shortage but we were supposed to check in at 3pm and our room was not ready until after 4pm. This would not have been a problem but we were sitting there since Noon. You would think given the fact we were at the hotel, they would have done our rooms first. Alex handled it well even though things were out of his control. The breakfast was GREAT!! And the staff serving breakfast was super nice. Highly recommend for the price.

Staff was really good; but many cosmetic issues, our toilet seat was broken. Very noisy at night. Bathroom was really old, needed a fresh up. Hallway rugs were old, torn and smelled. The outdoor pool could use more lounge chairs - only 2 from the 80’s, and the pool area could use some vegetation!

The room was located on the 1st floor and the noises in the hallway and from the ac in the room were jarring. Overall, we were there for less than 10 hours so it addressed the need but not a great experience.

Hotel was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, and kid friendly. The six year old really enjoyed the pool and then went right to sleep in “the cozy bed”!

We spent 4 days here. The room and bathroom were very nice! Room comes with a microwave which is a major plus. Housekeeping came on time each day. The only problem is that the guy at the front desk gave us the room right next to the elevator, and the elevator was extremely noisy every time the doors opened and closed so this affected us and our sleep.

Around everything we needed to do

Let me just say the basics. It was a hotel that provided a room with hot water. None of this outweighs the paper thin walls that allowed you to hear rooms on both sides of you in it's entirety (conversations and bathroom)., The constant noise from the elevator was off the chart. There was actually so much noise I would have slept better in my car. The cleanliness was mediocre to the point that I cleaned the floor with a bath towel due to stickiness. Overall for $292 a night it was terrible. Next time I would stay further away from USF and just drive to my location. Never again.

We had reservations for a king room. When we arrived we were given two queen beds. They did give us a voucher for breakfast because of the change. They said Expedia overbooked the king rooms. We arrived early, 3:30pm. Thinking HI is who overbooked and they blamed Expedia. Also the restaurant had only one person taking orders, cooking, and cleaning up. Needless to say it was very slow.

The hotel room we stayed in was clean, large, lots of storage, comfy pillows and bed and great to have toiletries to use in the bathroom. Thanks for a great stay

I booked my stay to go to busch garden. The hotel was clean and the room was very comfy. The only complaint is there were a few stains on pillowcase and bed sheet. Otherwise it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. The room was tidy and clean.

The room although appears nice at first glance was not clean. When I went to run a shower all black dirt rose up in the water disgusting. I cleaned the whole bathroom before I used it. The linens appeared fresh but had a peculiar order. The room was musty n needed a refresh.
