The gentleman who checked us in and out was also very good. The ladies who were responsible for the room were all very helpful too. There must be a good management team. It shows in the staff. We will be back.

Everything was perfect and team members were amazing , the only thing we were looking for somewhere to wash my daughters milk bottle and we are not allowed to use the kitchen water and no other place to wash it , the only option was in our room which means bathroom sink which we will never use for cleaning milk bottle for a kid , so instead we went to the closest restaurant to be able to wash the bottle

My day was great. My whole weekend was a blessed weekend. The staff was good there. The cleaning ends was super. I love the attention they give us my whole family stood there and this whole weekend memorial day weekend and it is our second time there and I will choose the hotel before any other

We got to the hotel and there was a much longer than normal wait, even with us being next in line. We finally checked in and were then told the elevators were broken and we needed to take the stairs with all of our luggage. This would’ve been nice to know as we were looking at a few other hotels in the area.

I had a very good stay at this hotel overall. One of the best things about it is the location. It is conveniently located between Clearwater and Tampa, with easy access through the highway. You can enjoy the beach and relaxing time in Clearwater during the day, then head to Tampa in the evening to walk around the riverfront and enjoy the city atmosphere. Another great advantage is the free parking, which was very convenient. Also, the hotel is close to Bahama Breeze, a very nice restaurant with live music at night and a great atmosphere for dinner. The room view overlooking the lake was beautiful and made the stay even more relaxing. The breakfast was also good and satisfying. the beach/pool towels were a bit too small, especially if you want to take them to the beach. Bigger towels would make the experience much better. Also, the hotel price is slightly on the expensive side.

The team was very kind. Our flight came in early and they made an extra effort to allow us to check in early and let us leave our luggage while we went to get something to eat. The breakfast area was well stocked with hot and cold options and very well maintained. Highly recommended if you find yourself in the area.

One of the reasons for choosing this property was that it stated it had late check out options. This is not actually true, or it was not available for our stay. We were told at check in we would have to ask the day of checking out if it would be possible. On the day of checkout we were told it was too late to ask. If there was a "specific time" that would have been better to ask, they could not tell me when that would be. A little disappointing. We did appreciate the airport shuttle being included as well. The room was clean and comfortable.

On the way back from a cruise, I thought I had booked this hotel again and it was a different Holiday Inn, but they immediately called the shuttle to come take us to the correct hotel and invited us to eat breakfast while we wait. Over and above what they were required. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately, the front desk woman was quite apathetic and rude about my questions and request for a bassinet and the shuttle process. She gave very vague and incomplete instructions for the shuttle it was frustrating. Find another job if you can’t provide the service customers expect!

My wife and I stayed there for the convenience of the airport close by. The shuttle starts running at 5:00 am, however with the current issues with TSA staff my wife and I Ubered to the airport an extra 45 minutes early for a 7:00 flight. The hotel itself is a modern facility with adequate parking and a helpful front desk staff. The room was on the first floor which made me a little nervous but it all worked out without issue. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again should the need arise. There is also a great restaurant right next door ( within walking distance) if you need to grab a bite.

Great clean room with lovely high ceilings and beautiful decor. A lovely breakfast in the morning and delicious coffee available all day. I wish our stay was longer.

Stained sheets and carpet, “suite” was nothing more than an extra couch. Very loud with hard wood floors, could hear the people above me drop a tooth pick. Did not have a fitted sheet for pull out bed. Rooms were filthy. Overall not worth the value.

Hotel was clean and in a good area. Bedding was comfortable. Overall rating fell short due to no water pressure in the shower. Constantly went out as if it was not able to withstand all thr rooms or something.

The hotel website is deceptive, whilst their airport pickup service is not fit for purpose. The front desk staff don't follow through with what they say they will do. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Our room however, was quite dirty. Clean towels were provided but the floor was so dirty, my feet were filthy just from walking from the bathroom to the beds. The shower was also quite dirty - it seemed like our room was flipped (clean towels and sheets and a brief wipe down) in a matter of minutes. To top it off, the pool was very dirty on the bottom and it had not been skimmed all day. I didn’t feel Comfortable with my kids swimming in it, which was our only activity at the hotel after dinner. It was an OK stay but given all of the hotel Options in the area, I would certainly stay elsewhere before trying this hotel again.

For $238 a night this place wasn’t worth it. This is the first time the check in staff did not greet. No information was given about shuttle or breakfast or the pool. In general, I find this unusual and I travel a lot. The breakfast was good. The room was okay, Spacious even.

Being beside the water and seeing people walking around the area made it feelsage and comfortable. Being beside Bahama Breeze restaurant was great just a few steps away. Great location.

I chose this hotel for the proximity to the airport and its shuttle service. But that service turned out to be unreliable. I received conflicting information from 4 different staff on how they operate the shuttle. At the end of our stay, it did not meet our need. And on top of that, I was lied to and given attitude by the early morning receptionist, Dan.

The room was great. Fresh towels every single day and they even made our beds every day too. We stayed for 8 nights, which might seem long for a Holiday Inn Express, but we loved the free breakfast. Best breakfast spread at any hotel I have ever stayed at. We will be back!

The room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to hold our luggage while we waited for check in, and made sure we had our airport shuttle scheduled.

No gas stations near the hotel. Only two restaurants nearby and one was packed and the other one too expensive. The luggage carts are really small. It was handy for car rental return at the Tampa airport. The mattress and pillows were comfortable.

I stayed here to go see a Tampa Bay Bucs game in September. The staff was wonderful - I had forgotten a few toiletries and they gave me complimentary ones. The lobby was clean and the breakfast area had plenty of seating. You could even take a coffee outside pool side to start your day! There is ample free parking and there is a Bahama breeze restaurant located just steps away. I had stayed here over 10 years ago and I’m glad to see it’s still as great as I remember it! I love the location it’s semi secluded so you’re away from the hustle and bustle of busy Tampa while still being within a short drive of the main attractions! I look forward to returning here in the future!

The hotel was very nice. It's right on the bay so some of the rooms have bay views. Unfortunately our room was right by the elevator and ice machine so it was noisy on and off all night. The breakfast was really good. A lot of choices. They were slower to replenish some of the hot items.

We picked this hotel for its nearness to the airport and its shuttle. We stayed with friends for our trip but due to an early flight we decided on a hotel for our last night. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was a standard room but it was clean, after 5 + years hotel experience as a housekeeper and manager i have high expectations. I would definitely recommend this location to others and will stay again if the need arises.

If someone was unsure about how to use the toaster or any food item, instead of politely guiding, she would literally shout at them, saying things like “people can’t read instructions” or “don’t use the toaster if you can’t read.” This happened openly in front of other guests, which was humiliating and completely unprofessional. No one stays at a hotel to be scolded during breakfast. Hospitality requires patience and courtesy, but unfortunately, this staff member lacks basic etiquette. Management really needs to address this issue and ensure proper training because her behavior leaves a very negative impression of the hotel.

The elderly lady (short hair and probably the supervisor) at breakfast was very rude and seemed racist too. If anyone makes a mistake while taking breakfast, she does not tolerate it and becomes very rude and crazy. The next time, if any other guest makes a mistake, she still loudly blames the previous guest and becomes highly disrespectful. I stayed for five nights and noticed her rude behavior on three mornings (once with me).

Check in OK after waited some time, a sign posted, desk "closed" will return shortly, and to top that off, no key card available, someone had to go up with me to let me in my room.

When we arrived we were given a room different than what we booked. We booked a room with 2 queen beds and were given 1 queen and a sofa bed. The sofa bed had no sheets so we requested them from the front desk. When we went to make up the sofa bed, there was broken glass and crayons on the mattress! That’s a first! They switched us to another room and luckily that had 2 queen beds as requested.

Desk clerk not very helpful, cleaning staff very loud. Not a bad budget option close to most things, and on the water.

It was our first time in Tampa and when booking I wasn’t sure what the area around the hotel was going to be like. So close to the airport and some great food options. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and nice everything around us was.

Was not expecting much (lots of business travel, most hotels are fine but not great), but this one is a gem. Staff are constantly cleaning to keep up with guests bringing in sand, water, etc, and it helps to keep the environment clean enough for my wife's high standards. Breakfast was excellent, something for everyone. Beds were comfortable and our room was reasonably sized for a family of 5.

Most important was staff did not speak ENGLISH!!!!! They pushed their phone in my wife's face to speak English, and the phone would change to SPANISH!!!! The TV only got 3 channels. We went to the ball game on Saturday, and I was rushed to the ST. Joseph Hospital Emergency room. Doctor recommended that we go home on Sunday. No refund for Sunday.

The property was nice and clean amenities were good. The staff definitely lacked customer service skills. I got a small cut at like 6am asked the front desk if they had a first aid kit or a bandaid Staff replied no! That seems not ok..not sure if staff was too lazy to check or if really no first aid kit. the customer service was AMAZING! I believe his name is Jamel. i’m sorry if I spelled it wrong but he was so nice. I got to the hotel really early from a cruise and he kept my luggage in a secure location for me while I went and did a little bit of exploring in tampa and then I was able to check in a little earlier. I could be wrong, I haven’t clarified it yet but I think I was charged an early check in fee because what I was charged was higher than what I was told when I booked it, so I wish that would have been communicated to me or just how much the hotel was going to be, I would have maybe not checked in early and just waited until 3pm. but other than that, the room was very clean and looked like the pictures. I picked this location because of the airport shuttle service and i’m glad I did. I’ll definitely stay here again next time i’m in tampa!

Our flight landed early and their shuttle was able to come pick us up from the airport in under 10 mins! They were even able to let us check in early and were able to use their pool prior to our usual check in time at 3! The room was clean, and true to the pictures online! Another perk to this place is, it’s walking distance to Bahama Breeze restaurant! Their breakfast buffet was delicious and their eating space were accommodating for me and my 3 year old son! Unfortunately, upon arriving at the Holiday Inn Express in Tampa Rocky Point, I called the hotel directly to arrange a shuttle from Tampa airport for my husband and me. However, I was informed by the front desk that there was no reservation on file and that they couldn't provide a shuttle. This was quite upsetting. The representative mentioned they had two rooms available and assured me that if I booked directly through the hotel, they could arrange a shuttle. Feeling I had no other option, I reluctantly made the reservation. I'm deeply disappointed with Hotels.com; I attempted to contact them, but couldn't find a telephone number on their website. Consequently, I had to rebook directly through the hotel, despite having my itinerary number in hand.

There is only one restaurant within walking distance.

Staff were friendly. Restaurants around the hotel are good. Beach is walkable.

Parking limited and very small spaces, otherwise no complaints. Breakfast was good.

We were not able to get into our room until 4:30. There is a disabled person in our party and she had a very uncomfortable wait to get into the room. I will not stay at this hotel again
