    Musty smell in the room I was in. Room was dirty just old. Don’t expect room service to clean if staying past one or more nights. Place looks good from the outside. Inside dated big time. Needs a revamp in renovations. I felt I was in 1985 walking in the halls.Breakfast actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. No I wouldn’t stay here again but staff was pretty decent.

    Upgraded, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Great variety at breakfast. Convenient from the airport, but unfortunately they don't offer an airport shuttle anymore. Otherwise, had a great stay.

    Building is old. Carpet is very very dirty in hall. Walls and doors are dirty in hall. Rooms did not seem like they have been deep cleaned. Would not stay again. Would not recommend. If you’re looking for only overnight stay and catch a plane, it’s doable. If you’re looking for comfort, this is not the place.

    Cons: it needs some minor work done in the room. The shower curtain drooped so the curtain came away from the wall and water sprayed out, the chair had some stains on it, the conditioner bottle had come off the wall, the bathroom fan didn't work well. Overall though, I would definitely recommend staying here.

    Booked and paid for a reservation at this property weeks in advance through Expedia - flight delayed we arrived around 2:30am host was helpful but immediately asked for my credit card - I explained room was paid for through Expedia - he said card was declined.. expedia's payment? spent over 30 minutes on the phone with Expedia ( at 3am now,) said I would have to call the next day - This Hampton would not let us stay without charging my card again - we left - nowabout 3:15am. spent over an hour the next day on the phone with Expedia to get a refund since we did not stay and no one was able to figure the situation out while we were standing there.- spoke with a very helpful Expedia agent who tried unsuccessfully to get the manager of this Hampton to issue the refund - this manager instead lied and said we were no shows. Expedia kindly refunded anyway due to the notes left during the 2:20m call while we were standing in the lobby- Long post I know, but beware - I am not sure of the angle being worked here by this Hampton Inn, but the customer service by the manager was awful.

    I had booked weeks before knowing it would be busy in Tampa during spring break. When I arrived, we were told the hotel had overbooked and there was no room. Staff was overwhelmed and did nothing to help find alternate accommodations. Industry standard is to walk guests to another hotel but there were not able to locate another hotel for us. Ultimately I asked if we could sleep in the lobby and we were told no. We had to leave with nowhere to go. We did get a refund of our money but no other compensation was offered.

    Quick and easy check-in at the front desk. The staff were very friendly and explained the several amenities of the hotel. The room that was booked looked just like in the pictures which was awesome. All in all, my hotel stay was perfect. I would definitely stay again at the Hampton Inn and would also recommend to my friends and family.

I called the front desk and she said they didn't have any king rooms, they were sold out. Judging by the amount of cars in the parking lot I believe she was lying. Didn't offer anything else, just apologized. I would have picked another hotel if I had known that.

    I arrived late (~11 pm) and was assigned a room directly behind the elevators and facing a mechanical room. Around 2 am, loud intermittent noise began and continued all night. At 6 am, when breakfast opened, I told the front desk that the room shouldn’t be used due to the noise. The morning staff member (not the night agent) said, “But the person last night didn’t tell you? I’m sorry— that room is the last one we use because we know it’s very noisy, and last night we had other options.” They offered me extra points, which I declined.     The staff messed the room up. The keys did not work on the door after three trips to get it fixed, and it was given to another room. That door stuck. It was hard to open. We were in the elevator with another guest, and she could not get the key to work.

    There was one though that refused my child an extra blanket. Things seemed to be falling apart. One elevator was broken and the other screamed and screeched and the emergency box remained open the entire time. Our a.c. unit leaked all over our the floor and got our stuff wet. The hallways were hot and some of the hallways had a musty odor. The dryer had to be ran 2 or 3 times to fully dry clothes and with $3 to dry that can get very expensive. The washer washes in hot water even when cold is selected. Ran out of half of half and only had the pumps. The oranges for breakfast were rotten. The side door would not work at times with our key card when we told the front desk they said it happens sometimes. The pool has a very sharp hole in the bottom that will cut someone if not careful. The alarm on the pool gate doesnt work and people were walking in from the side and might not have even been guests. The team member Jackie could use some coaching on customer etiquette.

The front desk was good and professional. The pillows were my main complaint. They were not firm pillows. They were very saggy no filling in the pillows.

    The staff that I dealt with were friendly and helpful.The complimentary breakfast was very nice with cheese omelets and waffles. The attendant even went out of her way and made me a waffle and got me fresh milk, so that it was cold. Very nice service!

    We arrived at your hotel yesterday morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience at the front desk. The lady who assisted us was very rude and unhelpful. We kindly requested an early check-in, but she made us wait in the lobby from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM without any clear communication or courtesy. She seemed distracted and was often on her personal phone. This was especially disappointing because just six days ago, we stayed at the same hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff member who helped us then was very professional—he even offered us complimentary water and made us feel welcome. In contrast, this time we felt ignored. When we asked if we could store our luggage, our request was dismissed without any explanation. We hope this feedback will help improve your service. We were truly looking forward to another pleasant stay, but sadly, this experience fell short of our expectations.

    It all started wrong the moment we checked in. I waited at the front desk until the employee finished spending time on her phone in the lobby. After we settled into our room for the night, one of my children became sick causing us to call the front desk for help. However, their employee Yaminah could not be more bothered by our request for assistance. In fact she told us we would have to wait until the next shift showed up leaving us in a dirty room with 2 young children. Only after going to the reception desk in person were we thrown new room keys our way without any explanation or information on our new room. It gets better. I go the very next morning to ask to speak with the manager Robin Boodhan but was told they were too busy to speak with me and for me to send an email. I received their response 3 days after checking out stating they would provide Yaminah with a 2 week training program. Hilton should be ashamed of having these employees represent their brand when they can care less about sustaining the company's values.

    Place was great but there was confusion about how many rooms we had. We had booked and paid for four rooms but only got three. It was due to staff confusion that we only got three. It was late at night and we were tired of arguing so paid for a fourth room. Next morning talked to staff again and was told Hotels.com only had us down for three rooms. I even showed them the booking on my phone but was still told I needed to take it up with Hotels.com. And I did but because it was after the fact I have to pay $150.00 cancellation fee so still about $100.00 from getting my money back and was also told it could take up to two billing cycles to receive that credit but billed my credit card right away for cancellation fee. I believe this was all the fault of the Hampton Inn but next time to be safe I’ll book with hotel directly. Thank you

    The actual property is fine. The neighboring properties are more in line with an industrial part of town. A bit run down. Upon arrival we were assigned a specific room but the over powering smell of dog/ animals prompted us to call the desk and request a different room. With an immediate switch of rooms was completed. Those accommodations were acceptable. The staff was quick to ensure our satisfaction. The pool & breakfast at the hotel were very nice.

    The check in was fine. When I got to the room as soon as I opened the door there was a weird odor! It smelled like the most disgusting body odor & moisture. I thought if I turned on the AC & sprayed it down with the Lysol I bring on trips it would be ok. It wasn’t! That smell was awful. It was late so I waited until the next morning & I went to inform the front desk. She simply said “oh” and that was it! I had to ask her specifically to change rooms. Needless to say, I took all my belongings out of the room & left! I paid for two nights and stayed one! They couldn’t refund me because I booked through a third-party! I will never stay here again!

    Ever had so little water pressure that you bang your head against the wall twice while showering? Well, that was me. In addition to that, the water stopped with a head full of shampoo. It came back on after a minute or so only to cut out again with my body lathered with soap. This was really a pathetic experience for a Hilton property.
