You have horrible cleaning staff they was rude for no reason and was careless when it came to people of color in this day ago it unbelievable that it would be possible. The cleaning crew for your lobby and breakfast area made my trip suck because of that. They need better situational awareness and customer care.

Vicinity to Busch Gardens and breakfast variety

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Busch Gardens. Super close to the park. Arrived early and able to check in before we went to the park. Both day and evening reception ladies Pam and Jennifer were awesome and Darlene that was working with Breakfast so friendly and kind. The shuttle bus driver Miguel fantastic. Would definitely recommend this hotel and location to BG. Shuttle only runs Thursday thru Sunday, would have loved to be able to use it on the Monday too.

I never stayed in the hotel due to a emergency.And I was in the hospital, I have been fighting to get my money back since the day I was supposed to arrive as I was admitted via ambulance to the ER. Even With your so-called insurance travel guard 2 months later.I am still waiting i will never use Expedia again.I will book directly with the hotel as i'm sure I would have had a better experience.

This was a great experience! Walking distance to Busch Gardens (About 15-20 min) and Fast Foods. Free shuttle to Busch Gardens. Very friendly staff! Great free breakfast options, coffee 24 hours, small snack shop inside the hotel. Heated pool was fun! Rooms are clean! Hot water in rooms. Very nice! Will stay again!

The staff were very friendly. King size bed was horrible. My husband has bad back problems, and the mattress made it worse. Also, the room location is too much noise. You can hear every car that passes by at night. We left early, couldn't do another night in the horrible bed. I regret not taking pictures.

There were some areas that definitely needed more attention when it comes to cleaning. Couch cushions were stained and gross, hair in the shower, streaky mirrors, fridge smelled like mold, floors had a gritty feel in the room. Desk staff were great however, very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great down to the bed. Right next to a Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds. The neighborhood was a little sketchy and road access into the hotel parking lot cumbersome.

Room was very clean, well stocked and spacious. The two queen beds were very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was shockingly comfortable probably because the mattress was thicker than most sleeper sofas matresses. Shower was stocked with large shampoo, conditioner, and body wash pumps! Not those tiny little bottles that most hotels offer. Free hot breakfast area was well stocked by staff. But be prepared to wait if you want hot waffles that you make yourself because they are very popular and because there's only two waffle makers you can be standing in line for a while waiting to use them if you go during a busy time. They offer a shuttle to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island which was phenomenal! The driver is exceptionally nice and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. He is very Swift at picking you up when you are ready to return to the hotel, so no long wait times for the shuttle! He even has a cooler in the back full of ice cold water bottles that he offers you after he picks you up from a hot day at the parks! Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in the Tampa area!

The location of the hotel was great and the hotel was clean and the room was lovely. The noise levels from the main road was terrible which ment I had a terrible nights sleep as their was no let up with noise from the main road all night. The management need to change the windows in this hotel to ensure its guests can’t hear the noisy main road. The breakfast was terrible in this hotel very little choice. Breakfast consisted of 3 or 4 cereal, yoghurt pots, porridge. The hot breakfast consisted of chopped potato seasoned and sliced frankenfurter sausage and nothing else with it. There was a waffle maker to do your own waffles and some muffins and some other bits and 2 or 3 juices and that’s the hotels idea of breakfast. Hotel needs to change breakfast menu as it’s terrible and I had to pay for food in Busch gardens instead.

The staff was wonderful. Kind and helpful. I knew my husband was a happy camper, he went for thirds for the sausage gravy and biscuits. He is a big breakfast eater and he said, or should I say mumbled "humm and yummm" all through the meal.

The hotel was fine. It was nice that they had a coffee bar and complimentary breakfast. I did not like that with the cost of the room being unusually high they also charged a mandatory additional $20 just in case you wanted to order snacks on your room. That should have been optional and the guest's decision. We did not order anything so the $20 was never used. I still do not see it refunded to my card. I am very disappointed with this practice and this really reflects poorly on the hotel.

Nice hotel, convenient walking distance to Busch Gardens. Clean place and an excellent breakfast daily! The only bad part of this hotel was the crazy homeless people living on the sidewalk across the street from the hotel at one end. Seemed a little dangerous at night time ??

The overall rooms were great. The pool was heated but not filtering properly.

The bed mattresses were sinking in the middle which made the bed not comfortable.

This hotel is absolute gold for a short stay if visiting Busch Gardens. The staff were some of the friendliest, the breakfast was excellent, well stocked and fresh. Hotel facilities were also faultless. Surrounding area also felt safe enough for walking to a from the park which is accessible via a short 10 minute walk. Price of bottled water was a bit steep if you don't bring your own.

N/A I contacted the property on Tuesday to move my dates at first I said yes then I think they said no I wasn’t really sure. I reached out to the property for five days straight, including Saturday and received absolutely no response from them. Frankly, I was surprised that the lack of response from such a reputable brand. Only thing I could figure it’s owned. Any owners are in name only. Overall, an extremely disappointing experience. I will not recommend this brand to anyone.

I loved my stay, the staff very kind and everything was clean.

We were in town for a K-pop concert at Raymond James Stadium and were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Due to staying out late we didn't get up in time to try breakfast at the hotel, but I did overhear another guest say it was good. We did partake in the coffee/tea bar in the reception area and were pleased with the selection. The hotel was fully booked (as were most in the area due to the concert and proximity to local attractions) but we had no problem finding parking even late night/early morning. Staff were pleasant in each of our encounters, and we received a text after checking in to make sure we were satisfied with the room and didn't need anything. The hotel is directly across the street from Busch Gardens, so it would be an ideal place to stay if visiting the park. There is a McDonald's directly next to the hotel which we noticed several fellow concert goers walking to to grab a late-night bite after the show, but we just made use of the microwave in our room to make ramen bowls. There was also a mini fridge in the room. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying again when visiting the area.

Everything was perfect. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond, welcoming us and making sure our needs were met, starting with Jamina, who greeted us. The beds are so comfortable that I slept 8 hours straight for the first time in a long time. We'll be back. Thank you all.

Great breakfast, the friendliest staff ever and decent/minimal but clean room. Comfy bed and space, my biggest complain would have to be the bathroom. In theory, I like the idea of the sliding barn door being the door for the bathroom and the closet, but because there isn’t any way to lock it, it creates a very big lack of privacy and security. The shampoo and conditioner bottles where not filled enough and we ran out of it + the cleaning crew didn’t come to clean our room even if our stay was short.

LOCATION - absolutely perfect for Busch Gardens. Literally 2 minutes from the main entrance. The room was huge and spotless. The room we were allocated was right next to the main road. We were only staying for one night otherwise I would have asked to change rooms.

I highly recommend using the shuttle to Busch or Adventure Island as the driver Miguel is super nice and heplful. I never saw Miguel or any of the staff without a smile.

The rooms are very dated. And the shower items (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel) were out. The window was so dirty - great view of the park though. It’s not in the best area - so an Uber to the park is necessary. The hotel provides a shuttle though which is awesome. The front desk staff is fantastic and helpful. Didn’t sleep very well because there was a fight happening on the street outside. All in all it’s fine to stay there if you’re going to the park.

Average hotel nothing spectacular. We were there only overnight. Breakfast was ok. What made this a pleasant stay was the quality of service from all employees we encountered from check in th room attendants to breakfast personnel all A-one, friendly and service oriented.

Spacious rooms a lot of things in walking distance Busch Garden across the street adventure Island five minutes down the street and they also had a bus that would take you to these destinations so you won’t have to pay for parking. That was really nice. The staff was very friendly and hard-working 3rd Shift concierge was very lovely.

The hotel is in good condition . It is located in an older, unmaintained area. Not many restaurants in the area. The rooms on the busch drive side of hotel are not quiet with the traffic, since the building is very close to the road. I probably will not return.

The location was excellent—very close to Busch Gardens, making it easy to walk or take a quick, inexpensive Uber right to the front entrance. The room was exactly what you would expect from a Hampton Inn—clean, comfortable, and consistent. We had a suite, which was a nice large open space for our stay. The complimentary breakfast was great and had a good variety. There were also plenty of restaurants within walking distance, which made meals very convenient. In the evenings, it was difficult to reach the front desk or housekeeping. I called multiple times without an answer, and when I went out to look for assistance, it was hard to find a staff member. It seemed like the hotel may have been short-staffed during those hours, which made it challenging when we needed help.

Jamina at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with a check in issue. I booked through Hotels.com and when I arrived at the hotel I was told that the virtual card Hotel.com had provided to the Hotel for payment would not work.I had paid Hotel.com online via Applepay but the virtual number from them to the actual hotel did not work. So the hotel had not been paid by hotel.com. It took me an hour on the phone with Hotel.com to get this rectified so I could finally be able to check in. The room was very clean, bed was comfy but the traffic noise was horrible. I had ear plugs on and could still hear it. The hotel sits on a very busy highway. Traffic could be heard throughout the night.

Our nightstand caught on fire do a faulty wiring. We plugged in our cell phone charger into the built in electrical outlet thats attached to the nightstand. Within 3 seconds it sparked repeatedly and caught fire. Fire ball ashes fell into a duffle bag that was under the table and burned holes into the bag causing damage. The fire destroyed the cell phone charger as well. We called the front desk to report what happened from the room landline phone and it wasnt working properly. I called the desk from my cell phone and told the lady at front desk, she didnt care at all. She said she would have maintenance come immediately and Guy from maintenance showed up 10 minutes later. Guy looked at the nightstand outlets and the main outlets on the wall and he said they weren't working properly and that he would also tell the manager on duty. Lady at the front desk- She was extremely rude at check out. She never asked if we were okay, never offered any type of compensation. I tried contacting Expedia via the chat option and was bounced around between 2 agents and an "escalation representative" who i could no longer communicate with bc the chat would no longer respond. I am extremely mad that our property was damaged and that management at the hotel and Expedia didnt do anything to rectify the situation. I will never use Expedia again, and i will never stay at a Hampton Inn again. Horrible experience over-all

Shower did not work at all. We did not have time to change rooms. This made for a very miserable 750 mile drive home. We told the office staff and they said they were unable to discount the rate because the booking was made through a third party.

Conveniently right by Busch Gardens. Because of that the there’s a lot of wear and tear from foot traffic. Bit pricey but you can’t beat the convenience if you’re taking the family to a local parks. Bathroom was not as clean as I would like.

Breakfast was good. Room was really nice and spacious. Just needed a dresser or chest of drawers in addition to closet space. Don't have clothes to hang. Outlet for devices should be on both sides of the bed.

There was no airport shuttle. We used uber. The pool was fantastic - it was so warm, we used it as often as we could. There is a Busch gardens shuttle, we used it, worked great. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect for our needs - family room for grandparents, parents and one 14 month old. I would totally stay there if I was in the area.

Room on third floor (#323) - just above three lane major road (E Busch Blvd). Traffic all night - no sound proofing. Worst night ever- can’t sleep. Staff was aware of noise problem in all rooms on front of building. Hilton will not allow fix. No one should ever book there again.

House keeping only comes every other day. The linens were changed, and new towels in the bathroom. I did notice that the dirt that was in the floor the day before was still there. All the plugs need to be changed. We couldn’t get our phone chargers to stay in , or the hair dryer to stay in. Front desk employees were very friendly along with the employees at breakfast.

The room was spacious and clean with all of the amenities needed. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was the TV could not be turned far enough for good viewing from the sofa or the bed. Also, it was nice that the room had a microwave and mini refrigerator but both were hard to access because they were so low under the counter.

Room, breakfast and staff were good. Issues with the blinds in the room. The main reason we stayed there was for the shuttle to Busch Gardens which wasn’t running. So that was frustrating. And I recommend for people to stay in a room on the “front” side of the hotel. Lots of road noise for the park side.

The room had paper thin wall and staff was awful. I’ve never been so harassed by house keeping. If the door is locked and you’re not getting a response just move on.

The hotel itself was fine. However I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with a hotel employee. My attempts to contact the general manager directly via email regarding this issue were ignored, which speaks volume about the management and customer service here. A response would have been appreciated and could have changed my perception.

Just everything was so-so. Room although seemed clean, everything seemed to be worn. Desk chair stained to where I didn’t want to sit down. Suppose this is why this one of the cheapest name brand options in the area.

Outside of getting locked out of my room because the digital lock battery died. The staff helped us get into our room within the hour, but we had to change rooms because there wasn’t anyone available to fix the problem.It was a good experience despite the faux pas. The staff were very nice. I think the staff were the best part of the entire stay and our room was changed so it wasn’t that bad. I would definitely recommend.

I used to solely stay at Hamptons. This is the first ive stayed at one in years, and was disappointed again. The beds and pillows were absolutely uncomfortable. I guess I learned a lesson.

I loved having the night light and drawers in the bathroom (this was a great safety feature and kept things nest and organized). The staff should be commended for their work ethic! Thank you!

Great staff & room for a quick getaway to Busch Gardens

This was our first time staying at this Hampton in Tampa. The conveience is unmatched and walkable distance from Busch Gardens is just amazing. The only issue we had is that the shuttle from the hotel to the park only operated starting Thursday and we didn't know until after we booked the hotel. So we ended up walking to the park few days instead. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice view of the park from our window. Good choice overall.

Hands down this was the best Hotel we have stayed at for uder $300 in a long time. It was super clean, the room was huge and very family friendly. The staff were super helpful and the shuttle to Busch Gardens was an added bonus. We will be back.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. It’s conveniently located to major attractions and restaurants. Rooms are reasonably priced. Amenities include free parking and breakfast, which were a big plus for us. Our room was clean, included a frig and microwave and looked modern. My only issue was where our room was located. It overlooked Busch Boulevard, which meant we could easily hear noises from the traffic, including sirens from emergency vehicles, motorcycles, etc.

Check in was quick and the representative was courteous and kind. Our room was spotless and very nice. Had everything we could want! The bed was super comfortable! Breakfast was great and the attendants were beyond nice & helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

I question the accessibility of the room. The door was extremely heavy and hard to push open. I can’t imagine how hard it would be from a wheelchair! The shower curtain was 6” too short so the floor got quite wet and caused me to slip. The outlet beside the counter was crooked in the wall and very difficult to use. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. There were premade cheese omelets that looked so processed we didn’t even try them. The apple we got was way past its prime.

Staff were very friendly and professional when checking in and checking out. Very kind with our kids. Room had AC to a nice, cold temperature. Asked for extra blanket and towel and it was quickly provided. Breakfast had typical buffet food, but everything was hot and fresh and good options for kids (sprinkles and chocolate sauce for waffles). Queen suite is roomy. Excellent location if wanting to go to Busch Gardens (it is across the street).

Great family stay to go to Busch Gardens. Hotel shuttle ends before park closes but we safely walked back to the hotel within 10 mins of park entrance. Staff is friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Only fyi for light sleepers is that you can hear street traffic thru the hotel closed windows. Will definitely stay again.

There was considerable road noise in the rooms adjacent to East Busch Blvd.

They allowed people to leave animals in rooms that were quite loud for hours! The breakfast was subpar and even when we complained about the animals or food, nothing was done. The bedding did not appear too clean and the shower was not working well with very little water pressure. Would not stay again!

Everything about the hotel was excellent- Hampton Inns are wonderfully consistent in their quality. My only complaint is that sound proofing could be improved. The interior sounds are loud. Also the hotel is on a main road and the sounds from the road outside are loud all night long. We could hear the people above us stomping as well as people in the rooms next to us. We appreciated the shuttle to Busch gardens so much! The parking lot is also inadequate. We ended up having to use our handicap decal to park as there were no other options left to park.

We stayed at the hotel because of its proximity to the theme park. However, the area is not very touristy. There are other nicer areas in Tampa. Some of the staff members were friendly whereas others seemed deeply unmotivated.

This is the best option, hands down, if you are spending your days at Busch Gardens or Adventure Island. Not a great location if you have other plans in Tampa.

FYI... Busch Gardens says its a 4 minute walk... nope!!! We walked it after Hawl-O-Scream..(the shuttle stops at 7:30)...and we walk relatively fast..its a 40 minute walk!! 🚶‍♀️🚶🥵 Will be back next year 100%!!!

My stay at Hampton Inn & Suites was a very pleasant one...I was assigned the type of room I had requested...there was one issue initially with the new television in my room but Pam, the guest receptionist at the main desk, resolved the issue quickly and professionally...and I did not lose any time because of this...so if you decide to stay at Hampton Inn, you will not be disappointed!

Location is convenient if you’re planning on visiting Busch Gardens, checking in was easy, and check out HOWEVER, we walked into our room (208) and it smelled muggy and like wet carpet/wet dog. After a bit you get used to the smell, but then the smoked detector was beeping throughout the night and the front desk was aware of the situation. A little upsetting they did not offer to switch rooms or attempt to not book that room. Not worth the price, you’re better off driving 10-15 min away for a better hotel

Love that this hotel is secure and clean and right across from Busch Gardens. The hotel also has a free shuttle. The surrounding area is unsafe. We took a walk to a nearby restaurant and were met with homeless people asking for money and crazy people yelling and screaming at nothing.

I liked everything but the tile in bathroom because I fell and broke my wrist the first night I got there getting out of the bath. I slipped on the tile because my foot was wet they did not provide a none slip rug. The food was real good and the ppl very nice.

The area around the hotel was sketchy and felt a little unsafe. The hotel is on the main road, residential side streets. There was a homeless gentleman camped out on the sidewalk outside the Mc’Donalds across the street and lots of transient people walking by. Location to Busch Gardens is excellent, short drive. The hotel shuttle to Busch Gardens only runs on the weekend.

Nice stay for a family vacation to Busch Gardens

The shower didn’t work properly and the blinds did not close so light poured in to the room all night. The beds and pillows were super squishy and uncomfortable. The staff was super nice, the breakfast was good and proximity to the park excellent.

Unfortunately, they just changed the shuttle schedule from daily to only on the weekend. One of our stays was during the week, so we missed out. The next part of our stay was a Sunday, so we had great service on the shuttle. Only downside for this trip was we had paid for the largest suite that accommodates a cot. I was assured prior to check-in and at check-in it was ready for us. When we got to the room, no cot. We were told somebody must have put the cot in a smaller room, which they aren't supposed to do, which meant they didn't have one for us. We had a couch, so it was a huge issue. We just prefer a cot, and had paid extra for the room that accommodates this.

Grateful for a smooth stay overall, and a wonderful team there.

We had family vacation to Busch Gardens. Location is excellent, right across the street! Hotel offers shuttle service so no hassle for parking at park. We also able to watch firework and drone show from our room! You will not be disappointed in staying here, nice pool also.

We had the Hampton Inn booked for one night after our cruise so we could go to Busch Gardens. We arrived at around 8:30 and knew it was too early to check in but just inquired about parking the car in the lot until we could check in later. The staff at the front were so friendly. Told us to come in and eat and have coffee. Also told us about their complimentary shuttle to the park and put us on the list to ensure we had a spot on it. We sat down and had something and some coffee and shortly there after we were told “hey we have a room for you guys now we can go ahead and check you in.” This was around 915. That was freaking awesome as we were able to get our bags and get our room set up before we even went to the park. Why we never stayed here before coming to Tampa I don’t know, but we will in the future. Super clean, great staff and a nice breakfast is provided and right across from Busch Gardens.

Short fused stay when visiting Busch Gardens Theme Park. We had a great view of the drone and fireworks show from our room. There were 5 in our group and we slept comfortably. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Utilized the check-in process on the Hilton Honors app. Slight glitch when trying to gain access to the elevator and room utilizing the digital room key. For some reason, when holding the phone to the lock, it prompts usage of Apple Pay.

Bed was great, bathroom has lots of space n love the new shower with shampoo, conditioner n body soap. Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets. Refrigerator n more. Our room was looking straight to BushGarden, which We enjoy so much the fire works from our room. Less than 5 minutes drive there's lots of restaurants, Pharmacy, gas station etc. Kudos to Miguel, the shuttle driver. Wow! Very professional, friendly and hwlpful. Gave His phone number so We can call when We were ready to go back to hotel. Very safe driver. Gave us some recomendations for Restaurants, from American to Latin cousins. Very very nice n gentleman. I kept His number so when We go back, We can call Him again. The breakfast, We expected something different, like a coffee, juice, pastries n toasts.... Wow! They have an amazing breakfast bufett set up extremely nice. Lots of food to chose from, everything you want to eat. The staff was amazing, wonderful. We wanted a hotel super close to the park and this was definitely a diamond in the rough. They had our room ready by early afternoon, got complimentary bottles of water and snacks and the room and hotel were clean and updated. The beds were comfy and the breakfast buffet was delicious. They do have a shuttle to the park but only on certain weekdays and the weekend. The staff was super helpful as well!

Close to Busch Gardens. Not what expected the area around did not feel safe. I was expecting a bus to take us to the park but this was only for weekends. The inside of the room was comfortable and cleaning. The lock inside sor security did not work properly.

Lovely stay near to busch gardens,arrived late so didn’t take advantage of gym or pool, breakfast good and close to Busch gardens.

Unfortunately, I chose to sleep in this hotel, but I never imagined that in the middle of the night I would have cockroaches in my bed. And not just one, but a lot, I was bitten all over my body while sleeping. I recommend that you do not come to this hotel. In the middle of the night I had to move to another room, which I would not have slept in if I had no choice. The manager, Angela Garcia, was not interested at all, was really indifferent, and did not apologize at all, and only after talking to Expedia did I receive a refund for one night. Just be careful when approaching this hotel!

Property was outstanding. They upgraded us, let us park our vehicle so we could walk to Busch Gardens instead of paying for parking. Staff was top notch, went over and above to help. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place if visiting Busch Gardens.

Love this hotel when visiting busch gardens or yuengling brewery. Love it more since the recent renovation. Bonus..was able to watch drone show and summer nightsxfireworks rightcfrom our roadside view king room . Requested at checkin staff accomodated request. Thankyou

We needed a hotel that was close to Busch Gardens and this was it. The staff was friendly and plenty of places to eat nearby.

Hotel was 10 mins walking from Bush Gardens. Very convenient for us and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed here to go to Busch Gardens and it was the perfect location. We could watch the rollercoasters from our room. Breakfast was great and rooms were very clean. No complaints at all.

This was are first time at this location and we loved it so much. Clean safe convenient I mean they had it all. The only downside was the area is a little rough but the place is secure no doubt. The complimentary breakfast was probably the best we have ever experienced by face with so many choices from eggs meats breads juices all kinds of stuff. We are passing holders Busch gardens and this is definitely gonna be our go to hotel for now on

Everything was good

We stayed here due to it being walkable to Busch Gardens. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful and accommodating with an early check in due to one of our travelers recovering from surgery. The breakfast had several options. Within a short drive, there were numerous dining options. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Place was.clean,.bright and had convenient shuttle to.the main entrance of the nearby amusement parks.

Pam was very helpful and caring. Breakfast was fresh and good. This was our second stay here in the last couple of months and everything has been consistent. We will be back again in August.

We came for a day at Busch Gardens. The hotel allowed us to park early and there was a shuttle to the park. It's only a 10-15 minute walk to the park if the shuttle isn't available. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast to start the day.

This hotel was the cleanest we have ever stayed in - the bathroom was spotless and the breakfast area was constantly being wiped clean. Kudos to the housekeeping staff.
