Hampton Inn by Hilton Tampa Fairgrounds Casino

I checked in early and also took advantage of the free shuttle to Hard Rock Casino. Used a ride share app to return because it was after 6 PM. Had a surprisingly tasty breakfast before I left. Friendly staff.

I went there for my son’s birthday and before coming I looked at the previous reviews and you would think this property was amazing but that is NOT what I experienced. Upon my arrival I was not greeted not even a hello just “what’s the name?” Horrible customer service and I felt very unwanted. There was a huge roach in my room. The walls had what looked like nose burgers flicked all over the walls the fridge didn't work, and the sheets smelled and looked like they hadn't been changed in a long time. Overall the room was dirty and unacceptable.

This hotel was great. The staff is super friendly. The free breakfast was superb. Fresh scrambled eggs with kielbasa sausage and strawberry and vanilla waffle batter for your make your own waffles. They even had blueberry syrup. Wow. It was fantastic.

The hotel is so fun, and beautiful. The staff is friendly except for one lady on our last day of check out was kind of rude. Otherwise, everyone was so nice. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. What I liked most about the hotel was the spacious room, but not fond of the AC unit close to one of the bed. Overall, hotel was fine

Everything was perfect especially the staff. The breakfast was horrible - not due to the staff for sure. It was clean and appeared appetizing - but the quality was way below what I expect - millions of travel miles for me for 30 years.

It was a last minute booking. Was very overpriced for the level of service that you get. Paid 300$ a night. A fair price would be 150-200$. Nice hotel overall. Won’t be disappointed.

The hotel was beautiful! You can tell it was recently renovated so everything felt clean and fresh. The rooms were spacious and also very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only issue for us were the pillows. If you like a softer pillow your stay definitely would be 5 stars - it affected our sleep but that’s the only small issue on our part. Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

The hotel is amazing with cleaning rooms and perfect areas inside and outdoors. The atmosphere is the best for families and oldest people. The staff helps to the families in the checking and checkout and provide all supply at the breakfast. The variety and good food are a great source for families.

The only issue I had and it wasn’t until I checked out, is the item I bought from the little “convience” product said $8, but I was charged almost $10 plus tax.

The reservation was not found at the hotel when we arrived, so we had to cancel the booking and book direct with the hotel. What a nightmare. the

I'm not sure if this is a new hotel, but either way, it was very well kept and clean, and a fresh smell throughout but not like cleaners or heavy air fresheners. It is also at a quiet location in spite of it's proximity to a main road. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Overall is was ok. Pretty good. I did not like that at breakfast time the tv had the FoxNews. I never watch FoxNews.

This property had great hospitality. The hotel was clean from the front door all the way to the rooms, and even the public restrooms. The free breakfast service was five stars and clean. The rooms were clean, spacious, and it smelled great inside. The decor around the hotel and in the rooms was beautiful. The bus that took us to the casino was clean and safe. The walk around the area was also excellent. I would definitely revisit the hotel.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the front desk lady (I believe her name was Marthi). She was truly amazing ,kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. She made sure we were taken care of immediately and made the whole check-in process smooth and welcoming. After such a rough start to the day, her kindness felt like a blessing. We definitely will stay here again. I wish every hotel had someone like her. Thank you for turning our experience around and making us feel so at home!

Avg...... Staff all but cooks and 1 manager was very rude and seemed like that did not want to be there or make you feel welcome! Would not let me use my military discount.... Took out a second 171 dollar deposit just for extending 1 night! Makes no sense! I will not ever stay here again..... Only good is it's clean ..... And food is good!

I will recommend this hotel to everyone! I have never stayed at a hotel where all of the staff is friendly and they really made us feel like family. Breakfast was included and a lot to choose from. Fresh and hot! We will be back in October as we attend Spookala which is a horror convention right across the street at the fairgrounds. One employee, Chrissy walks around with a big smile on her face. She is a huge asset to this company.

They do not accept cash nor do they have a business center. Not worth the $300 per night stay, you can find much better deals in the area avoid this place if you’re on a business trip.

Most hotels in the area are run down. This is newly renovated.

Check in was less time than booking room online. Everything was great was extra special when we walked into room and found personalized message on tv. Only bad thing I found was bed was way too hard and no side table on sides of beds.

The Building is being remodeled and its looking fantastic! It is clean, nicely furnished and bright. Rooms are amazing with comfortable bedding and towels. The bathroom is modern and clean. with fridge/ microwave and coffeepot. Would recommend this hotel

Friendly and helpful staff, quiet and clean rooms, and easy access to the interstate. Only downside was limited dining within walking distance.

It was excellent. I have stayed here many times before. It has always been nice. This time the room was extra nice. It has been remodeled. We were told that they had sold the building to the Hampton Inn chain so the name will be changed shortly.

We rented a few rooms for the football tournament in town not knowing what it looked like inside. Marriot was too much for the number of rooms we needed. I’m too used to 4 and 5 star spots so I was disappointed. So I moved to the comfort inn behind La Quinta and it was literally night and day. Comfort Inn room I had was worth the move. But La Quinta for the price was good for the team. Just not for people that expect higher stars.

New hotel to stay for us if we are not staying in the Hard Rock..for the price is the best and looks soo new.

Front of Building interior and exterior is undergoing remodel which caused limited parking in front of hotel. Remodel should be done soon and will look nice. Area lacks grocery stores and restaurants unless you drive 5 to 7 miles from hotel.

Our stay inside the hotel was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed every detail of our stay. I think that they were doing some outside construction so the property looked as if it was under construction other than that it was a very nice property.
