Beautiful location, hotel, and so convenient to the airport. The staff was excellent. The room was large and comfortable, and the dining options were fabulous. We will definitely be staying again.

The shuttle from the airport quickly picked us up and got us to the hotel. Check-in was smooth but it wasn’t clear how to get assistance with our bags to the Casitas. Once we got in the room, we discovered the bathroom trash can was not emptied from the previous guests. We let the front desk know and it was taken care of while we were at dinner. The food and service in the main tower restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed excellent seafood and steak for dinner. In the morning, we had the breakfast buffet which offered a wide variety of choices. There was a large wedding happening over the entire day of our check-out and staff seemed to be occupied with the event. The whole front entrance was shut down, right after check-out, so when our Uber arrived, we had to carry our suitcases down the driveway to the main road. We stayed here previously and expected to have better service from a Grand Hyatt.

I didn’t realize how close the the airport the hotel was when I booked it. So I was a little nervous. BUT they must have the world’s best soundproofing because we never heard a single sound!! Am I’m a very light sleeper. Loved the hotel!!

A very nice hotel. The pool was small for the size of the hotel but pleasant. Would have liked to have waiters for the pool area instead of having to walk over to the bar area for service. Workout facility was excellent and overall staff were friendly and helpful.

Place is very clean, the pool near the casitas is totally too crowed and zero organization. People from the main hotel flock to this pool and pool is very small!! The staff is the best I have ever seen, Kenny the valet gentleman is truly a kind and caring person! The coffee at the main bar was horrible. Need a better system.. Oystercatchers is top notch!! Would defiantly stay here again.

Where do I start……I booked a suite & also a separate room for family. I specifically requested the extra room to be 2 queens. When we got to the hotel at 4:30, the extra room had been changed to just a king and wasn’t even ready. That started the experience on the wrong foot. We had to wait for the 2nd room to be ready & had to keep insisting that we wanted 2 queens. After finally getting to our rooms, we all decided to head to the downstairs bar to meet for cocktails & appetizers. Several people requested Pina Coladas & were told that the bar could not make them because their blender was broken & had been for a while. The food was less than appetizing that we ordered & ended up not eating it. Every time we ran the water or flushed the toilet in our suite, the plumbing banged so loud in the wall that it was ridiculous! The next day, housekeeping didn’t even have our room cleaned & it was 4:30 in the afternoon. We had to complain & when they finally sent someone up to the room, it was done half-a#$(*with no extra towels that we requested. Horrible experience. They don’t even have a coffee shop in the hotel. The best part of the whole trip was the valet staff & bellhops! They were awesome! Don’t waste your time on this “Grand Hyatt”. A total disappointment. We’ll find somewhere else to stay from now on. Horrible experience.

The Grand Hyatt is AMAZING! The hotel was very clean and the staff was also amazing! The rooms are in perfect condition and the beds are super comfortable. The food there is absolutely delicious and the breakfast bar is EVERYTHING! I love it! I plan on coming back again! Thank you soooooo much! I wish i could give 10 stars! 💜💜

The pool and gym are nice conveniences and the water view is the selling point, but I expected a much cleaner and more modern room. It’s especially upsetting to me a hotel like this charges for parking in the garage. It’s a huge empty parking garage across from the lobby. Booking a room should mean free parking. Tired of these hotels manipulating price this way.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. This place is always clean and the staff is always accommodating. The only issue I have ever had is with the pay for parking. My room key wouldn’t let me out the gate and I had to call for help which was resolved quickly.

Went out to the small pool early. Pool Bar was not wiped down properly from day/night before. There were bees flying into the spout of the beer taps before the bar was open. They should be covered. Roof of pool bar needs to be painted or cleaned. Pool area itself was clean. I did not get to go to the other pool which I heard was the nicer of the two. I wish someone would have mentioned when we checked in that there was a shuttle or something to that one. Otherwise our room was awesome. Everything was what you would expect from a Grand Hyatt. Will definitely visit again.

I booked a room with a king bed and we wound up with 2 double beds. That stunk on Valentines night!

When I went to check in the room I booked it was not available and then they downgraded me to 2 full beds. I was looking forward to booking more trips with Expedia but really disappointed

We stayed there for one night because one of the two small pools was on the water and we thought it would be nice to spend some time there. The pool is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and when we got there, we were told it was closed for the day, at 2:00 for a PRIVATE event. I don't understand why they would close the pool...the one featured on their site...for a private event. So disappointing.

This is perhaps the first hotel that I’ve felt like I got good value for the destination fee. From s’mores kit to shuttle to the airport. Jane in breakfast was amazing. Great convo. Impressive person. So personable. All front desk staff was phenomenal. Especially Jasmine (who was so kind answering all of our questions.) The room was also huge room and the bed comfy. Also, all the food at the hotel was good, thankfully. A lot of times "hotel food" is just so-so. Not here. Very tasty!

The hotel was beautiful I loved that they had two pool options. Watching the sunset on the hammock was my favorite part of the day.

Toilet wouldn't flush, silverware only available from bar tender who is occupied with chatting when you just want to eat your Uber eats meal in your room after a long day, parking costs $30-$40 extra and requires a low clearance vehicle, no non-carbonated energy drinks in the mini shop. Lipstick on one of the bed sheets.

The place was pretty nice and I’m happy I could stay here at 18 years old. The breakfast was good and the room was nice. My only two complaints would be that first they gave us a room that was connected to other peoples and it was unlocked so I could just freely go into their room which was weird. The other thing I would say is that when I came to check in the lady made a rude joke, but that’s fine. I guess it was in light humor.

Despite the "quiet" hour, there was a lot of noise on our floor (12th). The ice chest was very heavy and didn't keep the ice cold for long at all (totally water within like an hour). When we asked for sugar for the in-room coffee maker, the staff asked for our room number because she was going to charge us for packets of sugar (we were there for 2 days and it was the 2nd and we only had 2 packets to begin with). The bar was ridiculously expensive - a Long Island Iced Tea and Manhattan was $54 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The room air conditioning kept resetting to 68 degrees; we'd turn it down to 62, it would go back up and heat the room to 69 - we couldn't sleep.

The entire experience met or exceeded my expectations. Charming property with excellent service, modern amenities, and ambiance!

I was disappointed with my stay. Right next to the airport so it was loud. I probably won’t stay at this hotel again. It’s overpriced for what you get. Pool closed down. Hotel seemed old and a little dirty. Bang wasn’t worth the buck. I’m staying at the Hilton bayftront in st Pete tonight and it’s as nice for half the price.

I had to stay nearby for a surgery. I was really surprised that there were no automatic doors. Thanks goodness for staff, because I struggled and people with lots of luggage battled those heavy glass doors. Also, no benches outside? Most hotels have these two things. Staff was nice, but no accessibility.

The problems started at check-in. We had reserved and paid for two rooms, but didn’t receive the key to the second one until after 2 PM the next day. No one informed us or followed up, and the staff showed no interest in resolving the issue—instead trying to relocate us to the main hotel, not the Casitas we booked. The room itself was a disaster: rusty and patched bathtubs, stained ceilings, filthy sofa and carpet, and visible dust on all surfaces. One fridge didn’t work at all, and the other made so much noise we couldn’t sleep. The ice maker was broken, and we had to fight to get just one bucket of ice. Housekeeping? They only made the beds—nothing was actually cleaned. Things got worse when the power went out on the third night. We had to leave just to escape the heat. When we called for help, Olivia Stollier was extremely rude and unhelpful, showing zero professionalism or empathy. The TVs were outdated—only one out of three had Chromecast, and none were smart TVs as advertised. Even the on-site restaurant was closed for construction and not operating during listed hours. For over $1,400 for three nights, this stay was unacceptable. The Casitas are outdated, poorly maintained, misrepresented online, and the service was appalling. It ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration. I would not recom

Property was not as advertised. We understand that they had storm damage from the previous year once we arrived there but on their website it shows a board walk, private beach area, perfect as can be and that was not true advertisement. They have a private man made beach on one side of the property but much smaller than the photos and no boardwalk/nature preserve. Lack of transparency on the website felt deceiving. Second, we returned back to the hotel late one evening and found the water had been shut off. Couldn’t wash our hands/shower at all. When we went down to let the front desk know they said we should have been notified at check in that the water would be shut off from 1:00-4:00am. We were not. The final evening we asked for towels to be delivered because we had a very early morning flight. Once I got out of the shower the morning of leaving, I went to get dry and found floor mats had been delivered and not towels. Overall it was a very frustrating experience and we wouldn’t stay here again. Disappointing because we were here celebrating a big birthday. Staff were very friendly and we felt bad they had to try and rectify so many mistakes made by this hotel.

Front desk was so helpful and made check in a breeze. We had dampness and a stuck tub/shower lever. They were thoughtful by dropping the resort fee. Parking is $30/day.

The pictures of this hotel are deceiving. Id imagined we would be on the beach when we got to the hotel based on the pictures and when we got there the beach was just a bunch of trees. You cant even access the beach from the hotel. They charged me a fee for the parking garage and a lodging fee every night i had not known id be charged for. The 5 night stay expedia quoted me. Then they charged an additional three hundred ontop of what i paid through expedia, never will stay at this hyatt again. Or any hyatt for that matter because they use false photos to portray an experience youll never have. And they charge you for parking and a hotel lodging fee when you already paid for the room

The property is lovely and the staff are polite and extremely helpful. However, I’m thinking about choosing a different hotel chain, due to the volume of music you play throughout your hotel. There’s no getting away from nerve wracking country, or some other type of distasteful, music blaring. We rarely dine in your restaurants because of it.

The room was spacious and very clean. The linen on the bed felt luxurious and cozy. So much that I want to purchase my own. The breakfast in the hotel was very good as well. My only suggestion would be a better coffee choice. The coffee tastes bitter and of piir quality.

The hotel seems to be nice at first. Nice staff - they really deserve all kudos! But everything in the hotel is old and falling apart. Phone was not working. We call service guy to fix it - and he gave up after 15 minutes of trying to revive old phone. Shower/bathroom is 100 years old and moldy. Ice maker in the hallway makes so much noise. Breakfast is ok, but still limited options.

Sam the pool bartender made this stay 10 times better. He’s the best resource for finding any local recommendations.

While my family stayed in the main part of the hotel, if we wind up back in the area, we will stay in the casitas instead. It was a dreamy setup, and the pool/views of the bay from that area were wonderful. If you stay in the main area, the bellhops gladly drive you over to the casitas section of the ground (or it is a quick walk). I would recommend a hotel that is conveniently located near the airport.

The place is lovely and the staff was very helpful especially the guys at entrance. Accessibility was not pleasant. The downside of our stay: requested bay view didn’t get and reservations made well in advance, the AC unit was faulty and noisy and the sink slow to empty probably needed a cleaning. Otherwise the hotel was nice.

The highlight is the vallet staff. I mean friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Gave me and my fiancée great recommendations and we took them. The staff at the lobby is also lovely. Personable, charismatic. I had a great time and will be staying again.

Check in was fine but we found brown stains on the top of the bed sheets, towels, and face cloths. I called to the front desk several times but no one answered. The bathroom wasn’t clean either. I told the front desk, they apologized, and refund a $30 destination fee. Realistically, that gesture really didn’t rectify the situation.

The property was great. We have some noisy neighbors even with quiet hours, but that’s not necessarily the property’s fault. When we booked, we did 2 queen beds with a bay view. When we checked in, we didn’t get either, but they immediately comped the $30 fee and a bottle of wine, so that was incredibly generous.

We love this property. We had a great view of the bay, the gym and pool are great. There are bungalows and two pools. Restaurants are great. But make sure you make a reservation, they get busy.

Enjoyed the stay except for noise and a barking dog on the first night, but I'm pretty sure hotel staff jumped right on it and corrected the issue, so I'm very impressed with the staff. The every valet was was extremely polite and I never had to wait on my vehicle once. It was always ready by the time we came to the lobby. Ready and waiting. I really appreciated that service. We also used the bellhop service arriving and departing. Both times the gentleman were friendly and knowledgeable of the area when I asked questions. Their advice was spot on! I have never had a more pleasant and seemless check-in at a Hyatt property. I floored by the inviting and welcoming deamenor of reception. I enjoyed the comfort of the king size bed and the view of the Bay from our window. The view was amazing 4th of July night with fireworks from the surrounding area. We also took advantage of the roof top view which I also enjoyed. Even checkout was pleasant and speedy, with once again my vehicle at the ready for my departure. The only real minor issue that I could complain about was that Chromecast would never work. I made several attempts but honestly I wasn't too concerned about watching television so I it was a non issue really but I thought I would mention it. But overall I thought my stay was amazing. I just wish I had time to try the on-site restaurants. 5* would definitely stay again just based on how I was treated by staff.
