I checked in after 11pm which was a process to get my room key since the front desk was closed down. Once getting to my room it smelled so strongly of a chemical odor I couldn’t sleep and it gave me a migraine. I even opened the windows and ran the air conditioner on high, but that did not help. I contemplated going to my car several times to sleep during the night and ended up checking out early. The hotel looks nice from the outside but apparently you get what you pay for.. I wasn’t offered any kind of compensation. Do NOT recommend to stay here.

1. This property is short staffed and poorly run. 2. It’s filthy to the point that one night the foyer smelled of urine. They had a room for vending and laundry that was also filthy. 3. I had a family medical emergency and had originally been told twice that I could check out early without penalty then had to argue when the manager said no. Ultimately, I was able to get a refund for my unused nights from Expedia. 4. I felt so unsafe as a woman sleeping alone at night that I slept with a chair and my suitcase blocking the door. 5. Our room was clean enough to stay three nights because everything was sold out due to the BTS concert but I couldn’t get out of there fast enough! 6. One night we even had handwritten notes slipped under our door from strangers promoting their personal YouTube channel! 7. The “breakfast” consists of small muffins and granola bars with no supervision so children and guests would grab handfuls not leaving enough for others. 8. The property is walking distance from shopping— one plus.

The location The property was dirty and smelly. The room was also dirty and with a weird smell , there was not even a hair dryer in the room , there was not an ice machine in the whole property. These are basic amenities you can find at any hotel except on this one .

Location was probably the best thing about this place, though it is still a 40 minute walk from Raymond James Stadium, so I ended up ubering. Room wasn’t that clean; there was hair on the floor and the bathroom. Room also smelled bad like some sort of smoke. The bed was uncomfortable. Not a great experience for the amount of money I paid.

Enjoyed our stay, room smelled like cigarettes when we first walked in but once we got use to it was chill.
- 4/5
Extremely quiet even though we were on the first floor. Room was clean and bathroom had plenty of hot water. Did not have coffee or grab and go. Front desk interaction was fine. Only stayed 1 night.

I'd I could give 0 rating I would. The customer service here is the worst of the worst. Any question that I asked to the front desk they replied with attitude and flat out rude. We also got an additional $200 taken apart from the deposit when we checked in. When checking out the front desk said the cleaning lady accused us of allegedly broking something, and when we asked what the item was they only said "I don't know." When we asked to speak to a manager they just pointed at the number to contact and said "there". Aboutly disgusting of a service here. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place needs a regional manager check.
- 5/5
Amazing experience, from check in to check out! Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean property and clean room. Free grab and go breakfast is a plus!
- 5/5
The hotel staff was friendly. The building is very dated and the rooms have an odor that shows the age of the facility.

Stay there got bitten by fleas rooms are infested dog friendly hotel and they don't exterminate after each visit
- 1/5
Run down smelly property, couldn't sleep. Left the next morning.
- 5/5
She answered all of our questions, very informative about the area. The room was clean, no issues at all.
- 3/5
The room was renovated however there was no ice bucket with glasses. There was no coffee pot. There was no hairdryer. These are standard in good hotels.
- 1/5
There was not an attendant there to check me in. The after hours line person was not able to make contact with the front desk attendant! I didn’t check in until almost 3:00 am, on the day I was actually scheduled to check out.
- 3/5
The majority of the staff did not exhibit a welcoming demeanor. Specifically, one staff member failed to acknowledge my presence or respond to my expression of gratitude when I requested towels.
- 1/5
We arrived around 11:00 pm. The front desk was boarded up. After trying to call a representative, someone eventually came out after 20 minutes or so. Afterward, she was unable to make the room key “machine” work, so instead of giving us a key she walked with us to our room and opened it for us.

Clean hotel

Then, as we were sitting in the front lobby waiting to check in, at least 10 tweakers walked in and out of the building. Nobody was sober, especially not the front desk lady. Furthermore, as we were checking in, we heard the LOUDEST moans coming from some random room nearby. I was trying to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt so I asked where the gym was, to which the front desk replied that there was no gym in the hotel. Then, we got to our room and saw how disgusting it was. There were stains on the beds and the towels that seemed like blood. Within 10 minutes we left and told the front desk that we wanted a refund. A week later, I am still fighting for my refund and the front desk lady (who is definitely on drugs, to re-emphasize), has repeatedly told me that the manager is unavailable. They informed me that in their records they charged me for a full night, when that was clearly not the case. To summarize, PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. Unless you are coming here to do hard drugs or are homeless, then this hotel is not for you!

Not ideal, it’s the coldest week of the winter in south west Florida. It was 40* outside. I went to the front desk 1/2 hour after I checked in and told them that there was no heat. They told me that someone would be there in the morning. Nobody came and fixed it. The next morning my wife was having major surgery and we were freezing all night. I stayed in the hotel Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I checked out. I want my money back, it was the worst hotel stay ever. Then at 9:15 am on Friday and maintenance knocked on the door and wanted to look at the heat. I said where were you 3 days ago and he didn’t speak or understand English, he didn’t understand why I was so angry. I don’t want physical money back, I would like a credit to stay in another one of your hotels for 2 nights and 3 days in a room that has heat when it’s 40* outside. Please call me ASAP at 941-740-9972 or email me at jamesfellisonjr@gmail.com. Thank you for your help in a timely manner.

Hotel seem to have plumbing issues we had to switch rooms due to toilet in 1st room not flushing so we were moved to a another room on the 1st floor and through out our 2nd night in yhe room the water pressure went low and the toilet just stop filling with water when my husband went to the front desk to notify staff theygave him a plunger (UNACCEPTABLE) this was my 1st time at this hotel and definitely my last

Older building being remodeled. Got there late evening and did not see a sign nor knew where the lobby door was. Lobby doors were not automatic sliding or opening, they were regular doors you actually had to open. Not good for people with a lot of luggage. Check in was ok at best as if we were bothering the attendant. Room was nice. Probably will not return to this hotel though.
- 3/5
Nothing for breakfast dirty
- 5/5
Recently remodeled and very clean and nice.
- 3/5
The place is average at best but it is cheap so you get what you pay for
- 4/5
The staff was very kind and friendly it really made for a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Room was newly renovated so everything was clean and new. Spacious. We stayed an extra night because it was a nice room
- 5/5
I would highly recommend staying here.
- 2/5
Room was dated. Kichenette with no utensils, plates or bowls. Old amenities. Charges for local calls. Breakfast was bad coffee and pastries in plastic wrap. Staff not terrribly helpful with directions to nearby stores.
- 2/5
We only needed the room for one night to catch an early flight. The room was clean but that's about all I can say for it. In general, the hallways had an unpleasant odor but a workman was signing out while we were checking in so the property or some part of it may have been undergoing renovation. The refrigerator in our room made a terrible "clacking" noise off and on and woke me up a couple times during the night. The towel bar in the bathroom was not secure on the wall and the towels were very thin. We would not use this hotel for any future preflight overnight stays.

When the renovations are done the prices will likely hike and i likely wont be back for the aforemented reasons as well as the price but lets be honest, i have been to similar situations and paid the same if not less and gotten better.
- 3/5
Everything was okay but the a/c took a long time to cool
- 4/5
Their breakfast was not good
- 2/5
Cobwebs in the room. Not the freshest of place. Property is old and shows it.
- 5/5
Customer service is immaculate. Everyone was super nice very helpful and very understanding for the situation that I was there for.
- 4/5
Room was clean smelled good bath tub leaks water but room was good
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 1/5
Many homeless people and a bunch of crackheads stay here and are always outside the property, I arrived at my check in time and parked the car next to me had a couple in it nodding out while smoking. Wouldn’t recommend
- 5/5
Loved the cleaniness!! The staff was helpful and pleasant.
- 5/5
The staff is great. The rooms are clean and the kitchenette is handy, but you are surrounded by restaurants and two malls. Nice areas to walk the dog.
- 4/5
Morning and evening desk staff were soooo nice. They helped me get everything I needed. I also noticed the girl at the front desk during night shift treated ALL the guest with the same respectful demeanor. I thought i chose a hotel without carpet 🙄 guess not. Breakfast was fruit and individually wrapped muffins.
- 2/5
I stayed for one night, last minute decision. The check in process was very simple, the woman at the front desk was helpful and pleasant. The hallways smelled terrible, a bad odor in the air. The water from the sink in the bathroom smelled terrible when ran. I woke up and saw a roach crawling across the kitchen counter, and when I went to leave the next morning the elevator wouldn’t work. Overall I guess you get what you pay for, but the hotel could also be a better kept.
- 4/5
Good overall stay, had no issue. Location is a little out so driving in necessary to restaurants and attractions. Would recommend for a quick stay.
- 4/5
It was ok
- 5/5
I loved how quick everything was, both check-in and check-out. The staff was super attentive, the room was clean, and the bed was amazing. One thing I really liked was that the shower water could be adjusted exactly to the temperature you like. Everything was just perfect
- 4/5
Room was ok. There is a kitchen for use but no utensils or dishes. You can ask front desk but I couldn't even get a spoon at night. They were out. The elevators were out the whole time so had to use stairs. Breakfast is packaged carbs and sugar and coffee or hot water. Holiday, so fire works we're going off but I was pleasantly surprised we couldn't hear them too loud in the room. Outside was loud.
- 4/5
Usually i leave a glowing review of this property but thursdays "mechanical issue" at the property were well beyond annoying. Rooms are still very nice, the staff is always wonderful and the area is perfect for leisure or business travel. Just wish this wasnt the 2nd stay thats had a day or more interupted for hours with loud alarms and malfunctions-
- 3/5
2. The hotel had some flaws like most hotels do. The Elevator had stopped working about a half a day after we arrived and I don't remember it being fixed before we left. 3. If I had to travel to Tampa again, I can't say that this hotel would be my first choice. But if you're on a budget then sometimes you just got to do what you got to do.
- 3/5
Smoking area was very loud with hotel guests listening to loud music, after 9PM.
- 5/5
We had a great 5 day stay at this venue. Our interest was to take in 3 MLB games and a beach visit on this trip. The location was excellent and very easy to travel to and from. Many, many restaurants within a reasonable distance + the MLB park a couple of miles away. The trip to the Gulf of America coast included a visit to Sand Key Beach located just south of Clearwater.
- 5/5
I stayed at the Extended Stay of America in Tampa. Miss Maxine was extremely hospitable and took care of all my needs.
- 2/5
Area and staff were nice, but the common area was dirty and the facility needs an upgrade. The smoke alarm in my room had a plastic bag tied over it.
- 3/5
Breakfast was only coffee, tea, muffins
- 3/5
Fairly clean and safe location. Good for a couple nights cheap and easy to get in and out.
- 3/5
Price was okay. A lot of shady characters hanging around in the parking lot. Wondered if my rental car would still be there in the morning. People must live here. I'm thinking FEMA is placing low income people here because of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. That needs to end. Need a better breakfast. That was ridiculous. People on 2nd floor not considerate of 1st floor guests. Bouncing and running around could be heard late into the night. Would not stay again. Extended Stay needs to fix the above issues to be taken seriously again.
- 4/5
The bed is great! Room, bathroom and kitchen are clean. The front desk night time manager is very kimd , welciming and helpful. Check in was a breeze.
- 4/5
Great customer service. We had an ussue of a water flooding in our room and we were changed immediately.
- 5/5
Very very patient and professional front desk clerk. I think corporate should award her a bonus.
- 3/5
The room was very nice.Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, I only stayed Friday this Saturday.I had to leave early So I paid 2 nights but only stayed one cause.I had to get back home for an emergency. The hotel was quiet. The front desk staff were amazing. Both the morning lady and the one in that was there friday night
- 4/5
Everything was fine. The only thing was the people next to us were loud and someone was yelling in hallway.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, especially Maxine! I felt comfortable in my room and appreciated the security features on the property, although the neighborhood it was in seemed nice enough not to need it.
- 3/5
Needs updating
- 4/5
Staff was extremely nice. Thank you Kayla you were very helpful.

over priced and so was the taxi service they call for us. The breakfast was trash
- 5/5
Excellent, very very very very clean 🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Recommend 💯
- 2/5
Breakfast was not good no ice machine location was great
- 1/5
The room and hallways have a wierd smell that didn't smell clean, but more of a stale type of smell. There was only 1 set of bath towels in the bathroom and not a single piece of utensil or any kitchenware what so ever.
- 5/5
It was comfortable and convenient to many stores and restaurants.
- 4/5
I thought it was in a very convenient location. Close to the airport and many places close for fuel and dining.Checking was quite busy and that was the only complaint and even that wasn't terrible
- 2/5
Bad value for $140 per night
- 4/5
A more affordable option I found on Expedia and it didn't disappoint , it was clean and short walk to mall and also was only $10 Uber ride to Airport . The Continental Breakfast was only Coffee and Muffins
- 3/5
This was fine for our overnight stay. It was very close to thr Yankees spring training stadium.
- 5/5
Everyone was very helpful with check in!
- 1/5
The property was very run down and dirty. The room had sticky floors in the kitchen area and a dripping bath tub faucet. Continental breakfast was supposed to be out by 6:30am but wasn't. Staff were too busy talking on personal cell phones to focus on servicing the clients in the lobby. We won't return.

- 4/5

- 3/5
It was as clean but a terrible smell
- 4/5
Convenient to airport and downtown.
- 5/5
Lovely front desk lady Maxine (my name is Maxine too, we had a moment) was super kind & helpful. Tampa was freezing at the time but heater in the room worked well. My $100 deposit was refunded within like a day, which I appreciated. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Fitted the bill for a pre cruise stay but wouldn’t stay longer
- 1/5
It was the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. The smell was intolerable and made it hard to even sleep. Our socks were so dirty after being in the hotel a couple hours I never wanted to step on the floor. The property was clearly outdated and there were mold spores stained into the air vents. We slept on top of the sheets that were so dirty my husband even found a toe nail in the bed. I expected a lot more from a trusted hotel company.
- 2/5
I drove past the hotel the first time. There wasn’t a sign on the front of the building and the parking lot in front of the building had people with cars on jacks working on them. I wasn’t sure I was in the right place until I saw a document on the front door. Entry to the hotel smelled badly from cigarette smoke and littered with butts. Once in, I had to wait for a desk clerk to show up, who wasn’t very happy to be spending her time having to check me in. The ad for the hotel read pool, workout facility and breakfast. There was no pool or workout facility. Breakfast was a small table set up in the lobby from 6-9:30am. They had regular coffee, hot water and packets of instant oatmeal or grits. Under the table they had muffins and nutrigrain bars. No seating we had to carry it back to the room to eat. The lobby, elevators, and hall ways were very dingy and I don’t think the windows in the room had been cleaned in years. The room wasn’t too bad other that no hot water for shower in the morning and smelling of stale cigarette smoke. For $191/night I would expect a much better experience. I would not recommend this place for a couple or family
- 2/5
The staff was friendly, but the room was dirty. The floors were sticky, there was dirt in one of the beds and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.
- 1/5
No room was available, and the hotel staff knew I was coming, but that they were booked without any notice. Arrived at 130 am bus taxi and had to find another hotel and another taxi and didn’t get to sleep until 400. Horrible!! Hotels.com representative said she couldn’t get a hold of anyone to help us and never did
- 5/5
Was a nice safe place to sleep for the night
- 5/5
We were only there for once night, but the staff was friendly and then room was clean and cozy
- 5/5
Great suite for the rate with a great location.
- 5/5
Maxine was wonderful checking us in!
- 5/5
Great service
- 2/5
I believe that this property needs to invest in ribbing out moldy, smelly 1980's carpet and replace with LVP for cleaner fresher smell and feel, they need to untrust patch their tubs and provide more toiletry amenities. The staff was very nice the highlight of the stay. Also the smell of smoke and pot permiates areas.
- 5/5
A fantastic property! Not a single negative mark anywhere here!
- 3/5
It's not the worst place I've stayed, but with so many options in the immediate area id probably stay somewhere else if I'm back in Tampa.
- 1/5
On arrival they had no reservation for me. Said that Hotels .com does this all the time confirm for customer on line but don't let them know so there is no reservation on their system. Don't think I will use Hotels.com or Extended Stay again.
- 1/5
After just two hours at this property, I decided to leave. The hallways were noisy, there were people drinking and smoking right outside the front entrance, the bed sheets were rough, and the fire alarm went off during my short stay. This seems like a place more suited for locals in transition rather than travelers seeking a quiet, restful hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it if you're looking for a peaceful stay.
- 3/5
House keeping never come to see if I needed Anything and my floor was sticky. I like the washer and dryer service but the dryer was $3.00 to dry your clothes
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Ok
- 2/5
Homeless community was over a block away so if you are going to walk to someplace take precautions. the property is run down a little bit and the key cards have a little hard time working.
- 1/5
I booked this stay in a hurry after our flight was cancelled late in the day. This was my mistake for not reading other reviews because it lived up to them. The property is older and not in the best neighborhood. When we arrived there were loiterers outside smoking in front of the entrance. Check in was easy enough and that was the only interaction we had with the staff. We were unable to find anyone to check out with or ask for more linens. The room itself was disgusting. Every surface had stains, the flooring was peeling up, the room smelled awful, several lights did not work, and the beds were old and hard. Overall this is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I would definitely not recommend.

Amber's the BOMB!!!!!

Quiet at night.

Fire alarm went off at 6AM, when we complained at checkout we were told to give 5 stars. Loud as hell, even without the fire alarm.

You have to ask for all kitchen articles as well as coffee pot. I also had to go down to front desk and carry it up to my room. Unable to take a bath due to no stopper for tub. The finally straw was when I saw roaches
- 1/5
Dirty old property
- 1/5
Need updates, the room smells like urinate the bed sheet was like not changing , I got bedbugs stings the only thing was good price compared with the another, we got our flight canceled that night so we had to spend 1 night for the next day .
