Nice stay! Clean room and the complimentary free drink was nice

Breakfast was fantastic

Also, the water dripped all night in the tub, and when we were brushing our teeth, the water didn't go down quickly so it backs up and you have a sink full of water while using the sink. I've never been one to complain but it was not a pleasant night at all. Glad it was only a 1 night stay.

The room was nice, however there was very limited outlets for cell phones and such. I really didn't like the extra $25 we had to pay for parking...would not stay there again. Not paying extra for parking, and needs better outlets for cell phones and such

The room felt empty and depressing. Also the bonus "cocktail hour" they advertise is a joke - please dont expect much other than chips and salsa. The free drinks is a budlight and a cheap house cab or chardonnay. However, the breakfast buffet was good. I paid over $1600 for 3 nights which was ridiculous for a last minute surgeryI needed but there were no other options. This hotel ranks as a very most a 3 star hotel. Very basic and average.

Lovely hot cooked breakfast with tons of choice. King suite was a huge space. Expensive parking at $25 for one night. Good area for walking dog plus a specifically designated pet relief area very close to front door.

It was a great location. We went to the international wall, which was very close and then we went to the theater across the street to see a movie. Great restaurants in the area also. Very pleased with the whole experience.

The location was perfect near the airport. It had all of the amenities that were needed. My mom and sister are the ones that stayed in the room and they really enjoyed their stay. They said the hospitality was incredible that they were asked many times if there was anything that they needed, and they were given complementary happy hour drinks one for each of them upon arrival and we’re treated very kindly. They loved their room. They said it was very comfortable and they were able to relax. My sister used the pool area said it was nice to have and enjoyed her time by the pool. Everything was great about the property.

The manager's reception was really poor compared to other Embassy Suites. No hot apps, all they had was chips, goldfish crackers and veggie tray. The available drinks were REALLY low shelf spirits.

Most everything. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but your was exceptionally good At check-in, Jasmine wasn't the friendliest we've ever encountered. She was very short with questions we asked, like it was a bother. But, everyone has a bad day, so hopefully that was it.

Clean room, breakfast omelette with a side of orange juice cured my depression, and the TV guide had a great selection of shows to watch. I'm always staying at the Embassy Suites by Hilton.

Room was very spacious and clean. Did have a slight problem with the toilet not flushing but the hotel has an open texting available for any problems. Messaged them before we went down for breakfast and by the time we returned it was working properly. Breakfast had a great selection and the made to order omelet station was perfect. They even offered hot food (eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and french toast). In case you didn't want to get an omelet. Elevators were the fastest I've ever seen. No time waiting at all for the next one to come which was perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.

The bar staff was great and the food put out was really nice -compared to some that offer no more than popcorn, this had humus, veggies, pasta and other snacks. The pool was nice and the rooms clean. No complaints from us with this hotel. There is a mall across the street but many stores are closed. There is a P F Changs and an Italian restaurant and a Chipotle a few doors from the hotel.

Perfect for an overnight stay before we went on our cruise. Our room was big enough for 3 girls and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to stay the night before a cruise!!

The cleanliness I communicated with property prior to travel and was told in writing shuttle time and to call when arrived at airport, when I called I was told I had missed the time for shuttle yet it was within the time I was given in writing. The gentleman was rude about it, I had to pay to uber to property and when arrived I realized the man behind counter and manager was the same person who I spoke with and was happy to show him the written correspondence received and in fact he was wrong to be rude to me when I was given wrong info from his on site communication board. He of course then changed his attitude and blamed it on staff who responded and offered me a goodie bag with free water, a Hilton perk I’m already privy to. However, I feel like if I would not of had info in writing, he attitude of speaking to me like I’m incompetent would not have changed. After 12 hours of travel with 4 plane delays, and extra expense just to get to my prepaid accommodations, I was sad to embark on poor customer service. Especially being that I travel a lot and love staying at this chain of hotel.

The tube in our room needed some TLC.

Property was great for Grandparents, Parents and grandkids. Great breakfast, good Happy Hour and grandkids loved the pool. Great location to airport for flying and easy access to highway driving. Loved our stay!

The room was clean, and the staff took care of our needs. There was a guy in the bar with a curly mustache that seemed to be having a bad day and came off very rude. The gym area was just what I needed with the combination of running machine machines and dumbbells. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re ever visiting Tampa.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, even had omelets made to order. The evening snack food was very basic (popcorn, goldfish crackers), but also offered two free drinks. The shuttle from the airport was easy to request. The area felt safe for walking, and there is a mall across the street with some good restaurant choices. There is also a Walgreens and a liquor store just a couple blocks away which is handy for getting your cruise carry-on sodas and wine. We would definitely stay at this hotel if we return to Tampa.

Location Room a/c was broken upon arrival. Staff repaired at our request. They offer free drink during happy hour however only had one bartender on duty. We waited 10 minutes and left without even being approached about a drink.

Especially from PacMan (driver), Matthew (bartender), the Cuban woman server whose name started with an "M", the Hispanic woman who took care of the breakfast area with the long hair, and the female omelette cook. ALL of them accommodated us with friendliness, helpfulness, and "smiles"!

The staff was nice but they checked in people after peole as we waiting in the lobby for 3 hours. Not one of our 3 rooms apparently were not available. That was just the first partt of the disappointment. The room smelled horrible and they didnt book us in the suite that was paid for. It looked like feces was smeared in the carpet! The food in the restaurant was worst the priison food and the free happy hour drinks were more important then the paying guest. The only thing good about this porperty was the shittle driver Pac man who was funny, engaging and personable.

The front desk staff was completely OUTSTANDING! Anything I requested was handled promptly. I had an issue with my key card and engineering was sent up in less than 5 mins. This is a large hotel too. The breakfast was great. I probably missed the fruit options since I only saw melons and apples as everything was constantly being replenished. The omelette line was long so we decided to get multiple orders for everyone to decrease our elders having to stand for a long time. I was in town to see my favorite cousin’s son play football for USF. He’s the QB and I already know the NFL is interested in him. What a treat to see him live in my VIP seats up close. My favorite cousin and I have kids the same age so he and I are more like siblings. I cannot wait to come back for the playoff games next month as I’m already looking forward to it! Our stay made it that much sweeter!

I liked the airport shuttle, it also takes you to nearby places makes it very convenient. Our driver Mike was the best. Walkable shopping and dining makes it convenient as well. We liked the happy hour drinks, but the snacks could have been better. Some of the front desk staff was rude and seemed bothered by customers. Our room was nice and big. The fridge leaked and the cabinet it was in was rotted at the bottom, you could tell it was an on going issue. the batteries in both remotes for tv were corroded. The maintenance came right away. We will be staying here again in the future.

The noise from the interstate was more intense than I had anticipated.

On another note, the Manager's reception was a big disappointment. Bar staff was not friendly and the snacks were swiss cheese, crackers, celery, carrots, ranch dip and trail mix. I didn't expect extravagance, but a little more would have been more along the lines of how it is marketed and pictured on their advertisements. Breakfast, the custom omelet was okay, soggy pancakes, broken waffle mix device--employee stuck her non-gloved hand up into the spout to pull it down to let mix flow, wow, no way to warm cold hard pastry. I was surprised at the low level experience this was. Not a good experience, but having a friendly staff was nice. I could not stay here again due to the fragrances.

The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable. The layout of the one bedroom with two queens was perfect for our stay. I loved how restaurants and shopping were across the street too. The location was extremely close to the cruise port also. If I’m ever in Tampa again I’ll definitely consider booking this hotel again.

The property is in a convenient location from things. However, the air in the rooms don’t get below 74/73?!? It’s Florida. The lamps not working, plugs not working? The tvs skipped or froze so often when trying to watch something. If I was staying longer I would’ve made a complaint there but was less than 24 hours.. so I sucked it up. Probably wouldn’t go back.

I was very impressed with the room and that it had plenty of space. I appreciated the free breakfast especially with a family of 4. Then I was blown away with how fast I received responses to my questions and that they were going to let me do a late checkout that I didn’t end up needing.

Everything from the check-in/check-out process, to the room, to the 2nd floor bar and restaurant were amazing! Walking distance to restaurants and a short ride to Raymond James Stadium.

Our suite exceeded our expectations. We received outstanding customer service from a young lady, whose name eludes me, but whose face I clearly remember. A family member arranged a Vegas trip through a Hilton representative. While the happy hour was enjoyable, the limited availability of cucumbers was noticeable. The pool was immaculately clean and well-maintained. We also made use of the workout room. The overall environment was remarkably quiet and clean.

2 Bedroom Suite is spacious and comfortable. Convenient to dining, shopping, downtown and Interstate 275. Staff is pleasant.

If you have a flight before 6 am shuttle doesn’t start until 6.

I didn’t like the lobby and hallway, they had bad smells. The lobby smelled like sewer water. And our floor smelled like mold as soon as you stepped out the elevator. I did buy a Febreeze spray for my room. I wanted my room to smell fresh.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Pool was great, rooms were clean and comfortable. We had one small mishap where the freezer didn’t work and our ice cream melted everywhere. Staff was always helpful and greeted us every time we came through the lobby. Breakfast and afternoon reception is a real treat. My only issue was the persistent sales pitch by the Hilton Honors representative during breakfast. We were approached multiple times even though we had indicated we weren’t interested.

We had a really nice day at the Embassy suites. The room was exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the happy hour. It was very convenient having the shuttle to the airport.

There was such a heavy odor of marijuana that was bothersome.

love the breakfast and the happy hour. great HUGE rooms and friendly staff. would definitely stay again

Beautiful facility- 2nd floor restaurant/bar nice surprise

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We requested an early check-in and they were able to keep our luggage safe until our room was ready. We were able to walk to a local restaurant for lunch and when we returned our room was ready.

Great options for eating onsite or at restaurants that are within walking distance. Mall also within walking distance. Friendly staff, and convenient transportation options to and from the airport as well as the cruise port. Was a great place to stay.

Great location near airport. Our flight out of PIE was cancelled. Great happy hour and breakfast included in our stay. Friendly staff.

Bad stuff = Self parking charge not disclosed ($18 per night), rooms are sparse, dated, and not comfy. A lack of attention to detail throughout hotel. It is time for a refresh of almost everything at this place. Staff friendliness makes up for a lot of issues however.

A $ 19 for parking is way to much

Everything was good except the shower did not work at all so weren’t able to shower

The hotel room,Jacuzzi, pool, breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were courteous and professional. The hotel was very clean. I almost did not want to go on my cruise the next day

The overall experience was great as the hotel provided a staging area for a surprise birthday party meet & greet. The staff greeted me upon arrival to the check-in counter. My only dislike was that I completed the mobile check-in many hours prior to arrival to eliminate waiting in line due to a leg issue. My mobile key was never activated for direct access to my room. The staff member kindly stated that she forgot to assign me a room because she was busy with other customers. She also forgot my complimentary water as an elite member, therefore, I leniently rated 4 stars for staff & service.

Overall the property is really nice. The pool area isn’t the nicest but could definitely be worse. The food was good and staff was amazing

Lots of highway noise though

This hotel is a very nice hotel to stay at and located in a great location in Tampa. There’s 2 large malls (one within walking distance). The shuttle is very timely. The staff are all very generous.

Beautiful and clean, staff was pleasant.

Loved everything. The last day there we got stuck at the mall because the shuttle had broken down and they were unable to pick us up after dropping us off so we had to Uber. The main reason for choosing the hotel was for the shuttle services, so it was disappointing.

I didn’t like the fact when I arrived my room wasn’t ready on time and I was exhausted from a long few weeks of work. But staff was friendly and eventually we got it handled

Good stay. Air ventilation in room was poor. Very stuffy. No ventilation when shower is running either. Pillows are really soft, kind of too soft. Balcony door is bolted up for safety purposes. Variety of breakfast but it wasn’t too tasty. Plenty of options though. Very convenient to a lot of shopping and dining. Felt safe walking in the area. Convenience store in the hotel is pricey. Overall 8/10

The reception was very friendly, but never more than one person at the desk at any one point. The breakfast had huge lines everywhere and only a few tables. The eggs are made to order, but take 20 minutes in the lines. Overall, the hotel is looking tired, it is desperately in need of a makeover.

The toilet nor shower worked in the room. Waited an hour for a shuttle from the hotel. The shuttle never arrived. Had to call in an uber

The hotel has a strategic location, it s just a couple minutes from Tampa Zoo, port, airport, and downtown. Very nice place

Great we lived our stay here

Pool is unheated - at this time of year - unusable. Shuttle service was supposed to be included but on return was unavailable - had to get an uber to get back to the airport but was never told that this would be the case. Didnt even offer to make it right. Breakfast was supposed to be at 630am start- sat and waited until 725 and still not open. Didnt even have coffee available. Do not use the Shuttle service that is being promoted on site - overbooked-overpromised. Embassy shuttle did step up and got a number of patrons close to our venue.

Everyone was excellent

Room was not a suite. One room with short hallway to bathroom. 2 of the 3 treadmills in fitness room broken. $22 for a burger in the “restaurant” but you had to go up to the bar to order from the bartender (no servers) like you’re at a Chipotle. Had to ask for a takeout coffee cup holder thing so you don’t burn your hand at the breakfast area, after I burned my hand. She brought me one from the back. They also had the sugar-free syrup stashed in the kitchen when I asked for it. For almost $200 a night these things need to get fixed.

Everything was great!

Safety was a bit of a concern as my husband was approached by 2 men that were not in the hotel they walked the other way.. also they had told us the shuttle could take us anywhere within 2 miles and they made us walk.. other than that is was good

I reported a damaged balcony window as soon I entered the room.i was told that they was sending someone.but no one came and accessed the window.

Clean and well kept property. Accessibility to interstate, mall, and food choices.

Fantastic hotel, huge room, good breakfast (bacon, eggs, omelet section).

The hotel was wonderful rooms extra big. Breakfast and social hours were fabulous and great options.

I like everything except I did like the happy hour in the bar area not the breakfast area like it is now

The Room Size was great

We have stayed here for years (well over 30) and this time was a little disappointing.

The pool was nice but our room wasnt ready and we had to use the bathroom without a room key. The front desk said there was a bathroom out by pool but every door we tried was locked. We had to keep going inside to 2nd floor. It was not convenient.

Very nice

Didn’t like the fact that I was put in an adjoining room and could hear the people in the next room. Very disturbing and unexpected not very private.
