Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about their stay at the hotel. While some appreciate the spacious and clean rooms, others complain about unmaintained facilities, poor customer service, and lack of clean towels.

Staff were friendly and check in a breeze.

If you like mold/mildew this is the place to stay! They even tried to mask the overbearing smell by shoving air freshners inside of the A/C unit which did nothing to mask it. We could barely breathe and of course it was the same night as a concert so every room was full and they had no other rooms to move us to.
- 3/5
Staff were super nice...the location for a concert or to the highway is perfect...the pillows and bed are comfortable but the sink was plugged and only 2 of 12 outlets worked and the AC leaked alot of water on the floor...I reported it and they said the manager would know and it would be fixed the next day...was never done....I would stay here again though because of staff, location and comfy bed.
- 5/5
Everyone was super friendly.

No hot water in shower but hot water in sink. Room smelled of mold and mildew. We had 2 rooms reserved and second room bathroom had mold and shower did not look clean. Had spiders crawling on the bed. When issues were reported to staff all they could do was say management would be in on Monday and would reach out. Staff did not take any notes or document the issues.

Alivia was so amazing and made our stay so much more enjoyable and special. I would stay again just for her alone! The hotel did a fun raffle for the concert we were going to in which I won the grande prize box with the Cutest prizes. The complimentary breakfast was good, lots of fresh choices.
- 4/5
Team at front desk were phenomenal, sweet, and so helpful! They are pros when it comes to the stadium crowds!
- 5/5
The front desk staff from check in through check out went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The only complaint is that the pool could been cleaner as it didn't appear to have been skimmed. Overall we were very satisfied and will go back for sure.

Room was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Air conditioning worked fine in our room. We had an issue with a bathroom light but called the front desk and it was taken care of quickly. Can't say anything about breakfast since we missed it...but there is a diner just a block away that was good.

My daughter and I stayed here the night before our cruise. It was only a couple of miles to the port. Staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
I'm not sure how old this hotel is, the main areas look nice but, the room was dated, our bathroom door barely closed, the lock on the front door was really loose. Breakfast was subpar at best. The saving grace of this entire stay was the staff, they were so polite and helpful.
- 3/5
I stay at this hotel, because it's location is convenient for me, and is clean enough not to have a concern about bed bugs. Other than that, It is in desperate need of a major renovation and modernization.
- 5/5
Great experience! Clean, respectful and all around good environment
- 1/5
Our first room had bugs. We did switch rooms. The 2nd room the shower only had cold water. Very disappointing!
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk, I believe her name is Alvia, was such a great help and made my stay very complimentary. I had no problem getting my key card replaced or being told where things are in the hotel and the surrounding area. Absolutely struck gold with her as an employee
- 5/5
Breakfast was so great ! Nice variety No complaints about anything
- 4/5
The pool area really needs an update. Too many ducks in the pool. Pool was duty.
- 4/5
The staff was lovely and helpful, very accommodating but the rooms were dated and the kitchenette was not a true kitchenette it was a counter top with a large fridge and that was it.

Room was not cleaned.. the tub had dirt in the bottom, the toilet seat had urine on it, the end table in between the beds had a sticky residue... it made me cringe. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
We were upgraded from a regular room to a Poolside suite when it was discovered that our door key would not work due to faulty equipment. Very nice of them management!!
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and I like the breakfast too. We were near the pool and that was nice as well.
- 4/5
Close to the hospital. The room was clean, could use a bit of an upgrade but it was fine for the night. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Used the hot tub, jets weren’t really working. The pool was clean, didn’t go in. Would stay again. The ac unit was a little loud in the room but it did the job. Can’t beat the price.
- 5/5
Our 2 young children loved the pond in the back and the ducks! The Poke Poke bowls were so delicious for dinner and the front desk staff was the nicest to all of us, we totally enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a good variety, equal to any Marriott or Hilton I’ve been to. We’d happily stay here again.

I had a great stay. The location was perfect for my needs, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I want to specifically recognize Alivia at the front desk. She was the embodiment of professionalism and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Her attentive and proactive service really made this stay exceptional.

Our room was very clean. Surroundings were also kept clean, well lit, safe. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff!

I had a wonderful stay here when I came to Tampa for BTS. The staff went all out to make us feel welcomed for this event. This made the trip even more memorable seeing the staff just as excited about the concert. I would only recommend, which I know it can take a bit of time, is to change the lights to warm vs cool to make it feel more welcoming as cool light can make the rooms feel too sterile. Will definitely stay here if BTS decides to come back to Tampa. Also the hotel is walking distance to the stadium which is another big plus.
- 3/5
The room smells like dirty carpet, a lot of dust around the room, the pool was dirty, breakfast was a little bit ok, the staff was friendly and kind

The breakfast was another highlight: varied and very tasty, perfect to start the day with energy. We would also like to give special recognition to Alivia, who assisted us from the first day until the end of our stay. She was always very kind, attentive, and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

The country suite Inn is the hotel from hell. The rooms smell, nasty and dirty. There was a mildew smell in the rooms. They had roaches near the refrigerator so it is infected by roaches, which is disgusting breakfast was horrendous. I don’t even call that fresh food at all. Staff members are very decent people who tried to accommodate us. We went from one room, which was horrendous to a second room, which was even worse. That’s the one that had the roaches, the toilets don’t even work. The showerhead has mildew so I advise people not to stay in this hotel. There’s so many decent hotels in the area of Tampa. before reserving in a hotel look at the previews the comments see if it’s a five star or four star or whatever star it is but make sure you don’t get nothing below the three they should really close this hotel down or they can call Ramsey to go in there and redo the whole hotel from scratch. Please do not stay in this hotel. It is horrendous. Expedia should take them down from their website because it is an embarrassment for them since they are posting this hotel on their website. This is what you call the hotel from hell.

Breakfast menu was good.
- 4/5
Very nice location. The breakfast is great. Our room was a “pool room,” which sounds good in theory. The room itself was very large and very nice; however, smoking fumes from pool loungers polluted the room, which wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we were only there one night. Staff was amazing; very helpful. Highly recommend

Room was clean and spacious. Shade would not go up. Broken. I’m not sure if they use this place for short stays. It felt like something was off the minute we got there. People trying to pay for room with a credit card not in their name. No cash accepted for anything. Must be a reason? 7:30 am fire alarms went off because young lady was having a melt down and pulled the alarm. Front desk was talking to three men about what happened in a room that night. There was Also a young lady with very short shorts on who was upset. We weren’t sure if she had been drugged or was a lady of the evening. Breakfast was not great. Just too many sketchy people. Staff was good and did everything they could in all situations. An even shadier hotel right behind this one. Hotel is right by airport. No restaurants anywhere. Closed car dealership nextdoor. Had to fight to use deadbolt in door. Carpet was old. Looked like they may be trying to renovate as looked like recent paint job in room. We would not book this hotel again.
- 3/5
The pool and hot tub were disgustingly dirty. In our bathroom, the towels were stocked on the counter to where you had a very, very small area to be able to put any kind of toiletries on the counter, there was nowhere to hang your towels because the towel hanger was in fact missing, the shower pressure was awful because you couldn’t fully pull the plug up to make it just shower the tub sprayed water while you’re trying to take a shower so it took away that pressure. You were also unable to use the bathtub because there was no plug for the drain. We asked for two extra pillows and were told we could only have one. I would call us at one and done type of hotel.

Justin, Ben and Olivia truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! I really can’t say enough about how kind and helpful and patient they were in finding solutions to any problems and making certain that all hotel guests’ needs were anticipated and that guests were made to feel at home! The housekeeping staff were also incredible—a small issue with the room refrigerator was fixed in under 5 minutes. The breakfast buffet was generous and they even customized some items to meet our group’s tastes. Truly amazing value for this price point and the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in the U.S.! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Tampa!

We were there for a concert, so it was very hectic. The front desk staff of Olivia, Taylor, and Ben were wonderful. The room was clean. The rug in the room however was bunched up in places, and the key to the door didn’t always work. It definitely needs some basic upgrades, but was fine for our purpose.
- 4/5
Needs to improve in the breakfast, the rest it was great and good price.
- 1/5
The hallways had a persistent musty odor, and our room remained uncomfortably humid throughout our stay. Clothing never fully dried—items felt damp and sticky—and even properly hung bathing suits remained wet. Our most significant concern was a severely disrupted night of sleep. In addition to having no curtains, which allowed bright pool lights to flash into our room, we endured continuous knocking or banging noises from the room above us for approximately two hours late at night. We reported the disturbance to the front desk and were assured it would be addressed; however, no action appeared to be taken. The noise only ceased around 1:00 AM. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of professionalism and seriousness with which this issue was handled. A neighboring guest, who was also affected, raised the concern with management the following morning and was met with a rude and dismissive response. This experience left us feeling that our concerns were not treated with the attention or professionalism expected.

It is a walking distance to Raymond James Stadium. The price! I paid $701.+ but $100 is for deposit so it will be refunded to me. There was an event but $601+ a night is way too much! If there’s no event it’s only $156/night for premium room-king bed. We didn’t like the breakfast. The sausage didn’t taste good and there’s no bacon.

I went for a BTS concert and was surprised at how accommodating the staff was to the specific event. I’m sure it wasn’t easy hosting hundreds of fans for the weekend, and I appreciate the effort they put in. It was appropriately clean, easy to get to from the stadium, and I enjoyed that the breakfast varied and beds were comfortable. I loved they were distributing Korean snacks for breakfast, also, among the many other small touches they did. Thank you!

Hotel looked nice on the outside & lobby, but room smelled damp & musty. Also, cosmetically needs an update. Bathroom door was hard to shut because it was swollen, toilet paper holder was hanging off wall, ac made a weird noise on & off all night, stains on carpet and such. But beds were comfortable and the location was what i was looking for, easy walking distance to RJ stadium. Overall, a nice stay.

Booked this spot for a quick one-night stay for the BTS concert—and wow, the staff absolutely carried the experience. They were nonstop, handling a massive wave of fans with energy, kindness, and zero attitude. You could tell they had to be exhausted, but they still went out of their way—cute games, themed decorations, the whole thing—to make it fun. No, this isn’t a 5-star resort (and it’s not trying to be). But the service? Genuinely 5-star level. Way above what you’d expect for a place like this.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly. They went above and beyond.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean. The only dated part about the property are the carpets but they’re kept fresh and clean!! The staff were absolute incredible and accommodating! Despite being two people down Alivia and her crew went to the max to plan fun activities centred around the band we came to see in concert!! Staff were exceedingly kind and welcoming!! Would definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
The staff, especially Ben, was really nice and helpful.
- 4/5
I will definitely be staying here again for any future concerts. Barely 20 min walk to the venue. Beats the hour in traffic just leaving the stadium. They even had a shuttle for concert goers ($10 pp)! Wish I knew before I shelled out money for parking at the stadium.

The rooms were clean. It was safe, quiet. And very convenient to RJ stadium.
- 5/5
They had A LOT going on with all the BTS ARMY in town for the concert, and with being within walking distance of the stadium. Ben especially was cheerful and helpful and welcoming! A very nice room, good breakfast, and even the little welcoming things they had for ARMY were very nice. I will stay there again, even if we don't come for a BTS concert.
- 4.5/5
The staff was really accomodating, friendly, and fair! They were willing to refund my money when I didn't end up taking the shuttle to the stadium. They also create fun activities for the concert weekend, which allowed us to chat with other fans in excitement. The beds were comfortable and the shower had great water pressure (which felt amazing after going to the concert). The breakfast was also great! There were various pest issues by the poolside. The pool floor was also not well kept. Some of the plugs in my room didn't work as well and on my Tuesday stay there was a towel left in the bathroom with a bloodstain on it.
- 2/5
We were there for a concert so it was super convenient. I paid $612 for one night and I didn’t think the quality matched that. At first check in staff was friendly. they was told in 15 minutes room will be ready. After coming up on a hour, my sisters and I seen many groups of people checking in. My sister got in argument with staff because we didn’t understand why we couldn’t check in, when all these people came in and check in. So when finally was called by up, the staff was a bit stern. We didn’t get any welcome package. Our room meh, not $612 worthy. We didn’t get WiFi details. The Iron board was on its last cloth. I didn’t get my receipt and I have no clue why I have a $55 charge.

Staff was super helpful and check in was a breeze. Kudos to staff for the warm welcome and for being so accommodating. Room was clean but a little musty coming from sheets. Otherwise, it was nice and spacious and right in front of pool. Location of hotel was convenient to stadium and nearby restaurants and shopping. Amenities were good. Continental Breakfast was good and coffee and tea available 24/7.

Our stay here during the BTS concerts in Tampa has been a true delight! Very clean everywhere, a delicious and really complete breakfast, and a really nice pool area for a hotel this size. The best thing by far is the attentiveness and kindness of the staff! They have gone above and beyond to help and accommodate everyone, even set up cute and fun activities for us during our stay and provided shuttle services to the stadium for the fans staying at the hotel. I feel really grateful they have made my experience a dream. Special shoutout to Ben at the front desk who is so kind, helpful and hardworking. He’s been here every day since I checked in with a smile on his face helping everyone and making sure our experience is the best it can be. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was amazing! They were prepared for BTS ARMY, and welcomed us with prizes and banners and all things fandom. We loved Alivia and Ben and will make this place our go-to for any future events! Borahae!
- 5/5
We booked this room last minute and thankfully they had availability. It was close enough we could walk to the BTS concert down the road. They had goodies and give aways for the concert. Alivia was especially amazing. You can tell she was exhausted due to it being extremely busy, but she still took her time with our check-in. She went into detail all the amenities, the extras for the concert, and the restaurants on property. The next time we travel to Tampa, we will stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond. So kind and efficient. The atmosphere around the hotel was so nice. Location for rj stadium events is perfect.

For events at the stadium, you can't beat this location. It is close enough to walk to the stadium which is helpful in that dreadful traffic. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is dated as seen in the carpet and slow elevators. Little things like minimal lighting and no towel hooks are just minor inconveniences. Overall, I liked it and would stay there again.
- 5/5
BTS concert happen and they went APPOVE and beyond to welcome, have games, treats and care for everyone.

The front desk woman was super sweet and kind, however their shuttle to and from an event a lot of guests including myself went to was completely unorganized. I don’t blame the staff themselves but it was upsetting how long the wait back to the hotel was. And the room wasn’t the cleanest. There was a red stain on the carpet

We stayed in a room with a king bed. Bed was nice but the remainder of the room was akward. A desk with no visibility to the TV. A couple of stiff chairs would have been helpful for sitting rather than a bulky couch.
- 3/5
Property was tired. Needs new carpet. Adequate hotel.
- 3/5
El personal que atiende muy amable y atentos a las solicitudes.
- 4/5
The staff was good about switching my room when the first room wasn’t suitable for me. Breakfast was good. The issues I encountered were the death trap shuddering elevator, my keycard not working after day one as it was programmed wrong , and the door to the pool area does not open with the key card. I saw many others trapped out there until someone opens it from inside the hotel
- 4/5
Door to pool was broken so key card wouldn’t work to get in had to call front desk. Other than that we had a great stay
- 5/5
10/10 minus the sketchy elevator
- 5/5
Breakfast has all it needs
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Very breakfast was good
- 2/5
After checkout, I was charged $135 for a wash rage and a face towel they said was missing. I never took anything and had to go through hell to even reach anyone at the property to talk to. I was hung up on several times
- 1/5
Was charged $50 because a towel had makeup on it and they claimed it couldnt be cleaned. It very well could have been. I wouldn't trust them with anything! Would not recommend to anybody, stay somewhere else!
- 3/5
The pool and hot tub are nice, the room was nice but smelled musty like it was in need of a good cleaning
- 4/5
Facility inviting, staff helpful, room spacious and clean!
- 5/5
I left before the breakfast was set out.
- 4/5
Hot tub broken was the only negative. Friendly staff and good buffet choices.
- 2/5
Food was disgusting. No fruit available. Hot food was not hot
- 3/5
No. Very mundane & unappetizing.
- 4/5
Room was clean staff was great and accommodating. Breakfast was alright nothing crazy. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 but staff closes doors at 9:15 and stops filling items at 9 so that was inconvenient
- 5/5
The room was so nice and spacious. It only had 1 bed but so much room for a whole mother one plus a roll away. The staff was very nice. Check in and check out was so simple.
- 5/5
Would definitely comes back
- 3/5
Ok
- 3/5
Breakfast menu was ok. Nothing great.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were nice with comfortable beds. Clean hotel with free parking and free breakfast. Easy access to surrounding areas and about a ten-minute drive to downtown Tampa. I would highly recommend.
- 5/5
I didn't see the food as I left at 4 am in the morning
- 3/5
Checked into the first room had a real bad odor. Sent to another room that room had an old smell too . only one elevator worked the four days I was there, it was a lot of stress waiting on the elevator, had to use the stairs. Some of the cooked breakfast was cold and was not right. Property is close to the stadium
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Staff was helpful and overall stay was good had no issues
- 3/5
The room smelled musty
- 2/5
Our room smelled like mildew bathroom was dirty just overall dirty room.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 3/5
Hotel is not that great. It lacks furniture. TV’s are small. Toilet was old and had marks. Floors seemed dirty. Bed was comfortable! But I was definitely disappointed in this hotel for the price we paid!
- 1/5
Our room was dirty. There was candy on the floor and feminine wrappers in the bathroom. There was also someone else’s glasses hanging on the picture frame. Along with a hot tub that didn’t work and we specifically booked it for the hot tub. But they didn’t indicate that ahead of reservations.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room had a strange smell and a stain on the pullout bed.
- 2/5
The elevator was very slow and the TV was almost 20 years old. I couldn’t see the bottom part of the screen.
- 4/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful.Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool area was good.
- 4/5
Staff was great beds were super comfy onlu complainte are tv remote did not work and there is black mold on the shower ceiling
- 5/5
Staff was polite and willing to help.
- 5/5
The staff was welcoming and the room was clean.
- 3/5
The hot tub didn’t work
- 3/5
Not worth $200+ a night. Air conditioning system is old and loud, bathroom fan did not work, and it was not as clean as other hotels. It’s a good place if you just need a night to stay somewhere.
- 5/5
Everything and everyone were
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean room. Thanks for the shampoo lotion & rinse. Good coffee. Good breakfast
- 4/5
Front desk staff was supurb. Location, location, location.
- 4/5
Love the lobby and the building, very pretty. Breakfast is simple but a good, with eggs, sausage links, waffle makers and more, very good coffee. The place feels safe. It’s neat and clean, with fluffy towels. Very good, friendly staff.
- 4/5
The staff was great. Great location if you are in town for a football or Yankees gam.
- 5/5
The room was spacious and quiet. The TV took a little getting used. The breakfast was fine and the 24/7 coffee was helpful.
- 5/5
Lovely staff, welcoming smiles; delightful lobby, clean, quiet comfortable room, reasonably priced in this busy season in Tampa.
- 1/5
My son and I were in the pool area and using the hot tub outside. We noticed a big piece of fecal matter floating around the pool. We got out of the pool. We told them at the front desk about it. They thanked us and said they would have maintenance take care of it the next day. They didn’t close the pool or anything. Then they never even put out a sign to say not to go in the pool. The next day, it was still there. Disgusting.
- 3/5
Good beds although television was stuck on weather channel. Adequate breakfast but was out of yoghurt. Breakfast server was unpleasant . Having a bad day? No good morning or helpful attitude. Desk clerk was helpful however and got us extra quilts. Probably would stay again as this review may not be indicative of everyone’s experience.
- 4/5
Clean room ... staff was nice ... offered a cookie at check-in
- 5/5
Nothing stood out it was all in all a good one night stay.
- 5/5
Comfortable room
- 5/5
mom definitely had a great time
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Close to airport and restaurants.
- 2/5
I understand this hotel charges what it does because of it's location. But the rooms really need to be remodeled. Our room was supposed to have a kitchenette. It had an old cabinet with a fridge that didnt fit in the spot. No glasses, plates, or silverware. The microwave we found the next day in a random cabinet in the sitting area. We booked the roo for 3 people. I knew the room had a bed, and a couch pull out bed. There was zero bedding for the pull out bed. There was a roach in the bathroom, and food crumbs left on the desk from the previous people. Next time I'll drive 30 min after thr game before I'll stay here.
- 2/5
The whole hotel smelled of mildew and mold. I am a person with bad allergies and asthma. Not a good thing for someone like me to endure as it causes medical emergency conditions. Other than that my opinion of the hotel is that it was comfy for the most part!
- 3/5
The staff is excellent!
- 3/5
The hot tub was nice, until smokers came out and smoked right beside it. Why put smoking section right next to the HOT TUB!! SERIOUSLY!! What about the folks who don't smoke? I had to get out then. The room only had 1 light working. Microwave didn't work. No Hair dryer in room. Only 1 wash cloth in room. When went to get wash cloth there was an unknown "fluid" in the elevator. The carpet in the hallways was way outdated and hard to wheel your suitcase down.
- 1/5
The first room was smelly, freezing and loud so we asked to switch. The second room was not much better but we were absolutely exhausted. The musky feel was off putting. There was no shampoo and conditioner, and worse, no hot water! The only positive, front desk staff was very very nice.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice, but just an average type roof and showed some wear.
- 5/5
Good staff, clean room
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 3/5
And now the not so good: My first night seemed peaceful enough, but then in the morning I was awoken by loud noises that sounded like vacuum cleaners. Turns out housekeeping was steam cleaning all of the carpets on the first floor, and this cleaning took place for 3 hours straight, nonstop. The drinking fountains in the hallway didn't work. I was told they were turned off during covid and haven't worked since. Also the communal washrooms in the same hallway were locked. I was informed they "may" be closed for maintenance, but they weren't sure. There were two glass containers beside the front desk filled with water to drink, but when they ran out and I asked for more, I was told that re-filling them "wasn't their job" and instead offered to sell me bottled water for $4. I just decided to go without. The outdoor pool was nice, as was the hotub, although the latter seemed a bit "too" hot and could use a cleaning as there were a bunch of tiny white "floaties" in the water that I had to keep scooping out by hand. The surrounding area was nothing special. The hotel is located on a highway with no real amenities within walking distance...although there is a gas station next door that had a variety store inside. Overall not a bad hotel, but could do much better.
- 1/5
Alot of mold in the original room. Didnt have another room with 2 queens. Hotel was rough. Staff was accommodating. But would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Everyone was great. The clothing rack was broken but they were willing to sent maintenance up right away. Very helpful staff!
- 5/5
It’s was very clean!
- 5/5
All great
- 5/5
Spotless, staff very accompanying & kind
- 1/5
Not happy
- 3/5
We had several issues with our room. There were frozen pipes, so there was constant knocking when someone turned water on on the above floor. Therefore we had cold water. We had no blackout curtains in our room with a pool that had flashing lights. This was a problem all night long. The hotel was completely booked so they couldn’t move us to a different room until the second night.
- 3/5
The room was ok the main door had problems to open, the coffe machine had problems, the toilet paper hanger was loosen/broken.
- 2/5
Room was way overpriced for its poor condition. Staff was very friendly but would not stay here again.
- 2/5
Staff was great accommodations were poor
- 4/5
Excellent, clean hotel. But the bed was HORRIBLE. Hard as a rock.
- 4/5
The staff were so friendly and accommodating! Breakfast offered a large variety of food and the pool area was very nice. My drawback was that the room had a stale odor to it and even spraying febreeze didn't seem to help.
- 5/5
Very clean room, delicious free breakfast and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Everything was fine-what you expect from an airport hotel at this price point
- 2/5
The hotel is a bit older and shows its age. There were some interesting smells in the hall and room. Staff was very pleasant and the rate was good for just a one night stay.
- 4/5
Good and friendly..
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Alivia, front desk clerk, was very helpful, kind and accommodating. The location was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was overwhelmingly supportive and helpful to our needs. The breakfast was great. The room was spacious. It felt like home away from home.
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 3/5
the only issue was the fridge didn’t work and had black mold in it unfortunately
- 5/5
Rooms were great, and clean and staff was very helpful. Only thing was that the pipes in the walls constantly clanking so it was tough to sleep
- 4/5
The main issue was the cleaning staff- they did not speak English and we kept having to ask for towels. The 3rd day they were supposed to clean the room and make the beds and they didnt show up at all to clean
- 2/5
Super dirty
- 1/5
El hotel no estaba limpio, las habitaciones tampoco y me tocaron la puerta a las 9am para limpiar la habitacion para el check out y ya me habían mandado un mensaje de texto que el check out era a las 11am! No me hospedaría de nuevo ahí!
- 2/5
Shower only shot out at waste height as the piece was broken. Small tv for a big room. Bathroom tile needs to be redone
- 5/5
The Room Size, Staff (“Taylor”), Was very hospitable.
- 2/5
Very tired property, smelled like bad cleaner and old stale smoke. Uncomfortable bed, not close to anything.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Clean hotel
- 5/5
Staff was great and very courteous.
- 2/5
More staff needed at this location along with functional door locks. (I had to retrieve 4 different keys because none of them worked to open the door)
- 1/5
The room was not clean, the bed linens had stains (I have pictures) on arrival, no ice bucket, phone didn't work neither did the microwave or the fan in the bathroom. They replaced the microwave with a filthy dirty one (I have pictures). The connector hose in the shower leaked and sprayed water everywhere. The window faced the parking lot with extremely bright lights, the shade would not go all the way down. These are the highlights. Not worthy of the Radisson name.
- 4/5
Clean room and nice service
- 5/5
Staff is great and cleanliness is good. Front desk is welcoming and check out process is so smooth.
- 3/5
Sound like a washer going all night above us. We was next to the desk so we heard people talking. Late on opening for breakfast and not ready no coffee. Counter still dirty from night before when we had pu coffee
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Location, amazing breakfast, super clean, the staff super friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much :)
- 5/5
There was a woman at the front desk, I don’t remember her name but she’s amazing!!
- 1/5
Had to call the front desk repeatedly because no one was answering. Even called the front desk from my mobile phone. The black out shades did not come all the way down. The bathroom walls had plaster on it. Most of the electrical outlets did not work. The USB ports on both beds did not work. One of the ports were broken. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will never choose a Choice hotel ever again.
- 1/5
stayed.
- 1/5
Do not recommend. Dirty hallway carpets. Rundown
- 4/5
Nice big clean room.
- 5/5
Staff
- 4/5
For the most part the hotel was clean, staff friendly. Check in was a breeze, however, when we tried to open the door, to our room it wouldn't open. Apparently, the handle opens in the opposite direction(upwards)... In our room, the cable TV was hazy, the cabinet where the mini fridge and microwave was, the door wouldn't shut. (it was right in the walkway) The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were way too small .. All and all our stay was pleasant.. But i do think they should rip up the carpets in the hallway and replace it with wood /laminate. Even in the rooms..
- 1/5
Me and my family were supposed to stay the weekend, but ended up cutting our stay short because of the room. Upon entering it smelled like damp/moldy water. Shower had no warm or hot water, just straight up cold water which was unpleasant. Certain outlets to charge were not working. No extra pillows or blankets for the pull out bed. We had to call for extra but even then we still didn’t get pillows. But either way those stuff should already be in the room because of the pull out bed. Other than that the staff were very understanding. I’m still waiting on my refund for the night that I didn't stay.
- 2/5
Room smelled terrible from the old carpets. Tv had awful pixel quality, shower was falling apart as well as the toilet paper holder. In room fridge had an awful smell to it.
- 5/5
Great staff got us in early pool and hot tub was cool
- 4/5
Yes
- 4/5
The room had no heat and water was cold in shower
- 5/5
Accesible to airport.
- 3/5
Chose this hotel based on close distance to Raymond James stadium (less than a mile walk). Room was clean, staff friendly and professional . Standard continental breakfast. Slightly older hotel. Likely built in the 80s and it does show some wear throughout. But if you’re looking for a clean somewhat budget hotel near the stadium it definitely will work.
- 3/5
Had to switch rooms 3 times. Broken air/heat, dirty room, and key wouldn't work. Plus hot tub was Broken
- 2/5
Found and killed a roach in the room. I was going to let that go because it’s a hotel and can’t be perfect. I was fine until 5 minutes later I saw another roach crawling around. Although hotel was accommodating and switched my room I will not be going back to this hotel. They also did not offer a discount.
- 5/5
Public areas are clean and attractive, too. We did not have breakfast, but other guests said it was "pretty good."
- 4/5
pretty decent hotel, we stayed here for ab 2 fill nights. staff was great and friendly, breakfast had a lot of options, and the area is very convenient!
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 4/5
Nothing really stood out. Nothing bad though.
- 5/5
Nice clean rooms and very friendly check in associates
- 1/5
- 4/5
Clean room daily didn't work and the breakfast need to be more expensive
- 2/5
Room was not super clean and dead insects were found in my room.
- 4/5
Yes
- 2/5
The staff was very nice, but the room needs upgrades to be considered decent. We did not have hot water in the shower in the morning, so I washed my hair in the sink (which did have hot water). Our door was difficult to open and made a horrible sound when it did. We had only a sheer cover on the window and were told only some rooms had actual curtains. Someone was sleeping on a mattress under the stairs in the indoor stairwell. Convenience to stadium was nice, but we would not stay here again. We actually did not stay in the room the second night and moved somewhere we could sleep in darkness and have hot showers.
- 5/5
It was a good room and very spacious. Good breakfast.
- 4/5
EVERYTHING WAS FINE
- 5/5
Our first room had an awful smell, the person at the front desk was wonderful and got us moved right away. Beds were very comfortable and they served great breakfast there. Was very pleased with our stay!
- 2/5
The cleanliness of the hotel as whole was poor. The cleanliness of the rooms were poor! Lamps did not work. Some electrical outlets did not work. Headboard was detached from the bed. The entire property is in need of a drastic remodeling. The entire property looks weathered. Based on the location being near two major stadiums I’m sure the people traffic this property gets has taken its toll.
- 1/5
They gave me a room with a broken door, and I couldn’t even get inside. I have a broken arm and struggled trying to open it. It seemed like they already knew the door was broken but still assigned the room. We stayed two days. The room was supposed to have two queen beds, but the first bed felt like a double. We were moved on the second day, and only then did we feel comfortable. Very disappointing experience.
- 5/5
Excellent Hotel, all the way around
- 3/5
Breakfast was undersupplied and missing cups and forks. Food was OK. I was right in the middle of breakfast hours and it wasn't too busy so everything should have been fine and manageable.
- 1/5
Jaquzi was not working . Online said it was . That’s the only reason we booked. Front desk will not give refund . We didn’t stay.
- 5/5
Convenient location. Q uiet. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The staff is very nice and accommodating. The only draw back is that the bed is very uncomfortable and the pillows were flat and caused my neck to hurt. The breakfast was good and the location is convenient to get to anywhere needed to go in Tampa.
- 1/5
There was a cockroach in the room
- 2/5
Got into town and upon check in the staff said they did not see my reservation. They were clearly overwhelmed by the two customers they had in front of me in line. (One man wanted to buy an energy drink and another wanted towels.) The young lady that helped me told me that I had to call Expedia despite showing her my confirmation and booking. After staying on the phone with Expedia the manager walks in from outside where he'd been joking hanging out with his friends who were pulled up to the unloading/check in area.( I assumed he was one of the guests until he went behind the desk and told me that he'd check things out.) Once I had Expedia on the line he told me that he found the reservation and put my family of 4 in a two bed non premium room. (We booked a premium 2 bed with a pull out). I went to request the room we initially booked and he told us they had no other rooms so we were stuck sharing a bed with my 11 and 8 year old.

The room was nice. The staff is amazing.
- 4/5
Limited but fine for all i needed
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, friendly staff!
- 5/5
Great front desk service
- 5/5
We enjoyed it and staff was nice and helpful!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Close to the stadium the breakfast in the morning was great. The hotel employees were very helpful with everything
- 5/5
Very convenient to the stadium and other establishments. Clean rooms
- 5/5
Very clean and easy check in and check out
- 3/5
Your front Desk Clerk Alivia was fantastic (5 stars)!! Rooms (2 Stars) When we arrived in room 119, had issues with the toilet tank leaking after each flush. Alivia was able to move us to a new room immediately to accommodate. However, the hotel needs to look into room 103 as well. I found a small roach crawling across my bed. We were only staying 2 nights and I did not see any additional but something to look into. Breakfast was good no complaints with the exception that I couldn't find hot water for oatmeal that was provided.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the room had roaches. I have stayed here a couple time prior and never experienced bugs. I will not be staying again.
- 2/5
The staff were all good, location was essential to my reason for being there. The room though, I stayed awat as much as possible.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great lighting elevator centrally located
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 3/5
Hallway smelled very clean but the room was musty like a dog was in there. The shower deverter was stuck and the water wouldn’t get hot.
- 5/5
The check inn staff were so friendly. My room was very large and beds were comfortable. I would definately stay here again.
- 4/5
Great staff. Only a 4 star because the gym that they advertised in the photos had actual exercise equipment but when I went there they only had dumbbells, weighted balls, a bike and a treadmill. Breakfast was mediocre. There was also an issue with the shower curtain rod in my bathroom and water got everywhere. Carpets had a bit of a musty smell but nothing unbearable.
- 1/5
When I arrived at the hotel the front desk was friendly and nice, the first room that they gave me was smelly and the front door lock didn't work. I call the front desk and he immediately change my room to a different one and the same floor, it’s smell as well but it was nicer.
- 1/5
Looks like a motel 6 with a cheap paint job
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Nice room. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Room had damp smell. Pictures missing from wall. TV was working but old and outdated.
- 1/5
The front desk was very nice and she really tried her best. She moved my room due mold and roaches it was late.we got the next room soon as we opened the fridge more roaches I could not stomach it and the smell in room was horrible I had went through a can of Microband already. I left and went to another hotel 20 mins away.
- 2/5
The room was dirty, mold in the bathroom. The shower had no water didn’t work. The ac/heat system needed to be cleaned. The smell was disgusting. On the positive side the staff was amazing! Check in was great! Front desk staff was great!! Breakfast was awful, not one gluten free option except for fruit. I paid for breakfast yet couldn’t eat anything but a banana. There should healthy options for all your guests.
- 4/5
Clean room ok, staff great, great overall
- 5/5
Breakfast allowed us to save time and money as we were able to get stated on our schedule without having to go somewhere else.

What a beautiful hotel. The staff is amazing! Karen, Alivia and the man that works nights were extremely helpful with everything. Breakfast is great and included! Rooms are clean, Pool, hot tub are nice and there’s a beautiful duck pond in the back. I haven’t been to another hotel where staff were so friendly and sweet. I have been staying here over a week. No issues. Definitely recommend.

The start was the credit card machine didn’t work. The key card didn’t work , handle in room came off and couldn’t get out and nobody answered phone at front desk!!! Took almost 30 minutes to get door open which made me miss my uber! Just a terrible experience all together…list goes on!

Todo bien

The room was great. Alina at the front desk was very helpful and was able to give us a room on the first floor.

- 5/5
All was good, especially the price
- 5/5
I have no complaints.
- 4/5
Room was pretty nice, some of the bathrooms downstairs have broken doorknobs so you can’t lock. They have the best snacks for last minute for your room like Pepperoni Pizza Pockets, Lots of drink selection and many flavours of chips. The bed is super comfy. Slightly old carpet and bathroom but great for the price.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but the pull out couch was really dirty and had stains but I was able to get like 3 covers for it bc I told them how dirty it was. The bathroom however was nice but every time you shower the water would leak out of the bath and into the front door area. Ac was okay at night bc it has been cold lately but when you turn on the heater it smells like burnt. During the day it was kinda warm in the rooms but other than that I can’t complain much. Breakfast was okay not too many options. Staff was great I had no issues there overall the hotel did feel like it was in a safe and local location and smelled nice in loby/halls and elevator.
- 4/5
We were there 2 nights - very close to Raymond James stadium. Room was fine
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, kind, and very helpful. The young woman at the front desk checked in with us to ask if our rooms were good and if there was anything she could do to make it better. We had two rooms and both were very clean and the beds were comfortable.
- 1/5
Was swapped into multiple rooms and all had gross smells and mold on the walls/ceilings.
- 4/5
The room was just okay but the staff was wonderful! I loved the proximity to the Raymond James Stadium!
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff. Needs a bit of maintenance in the bathroom and there was no hair dryer.
- 2/5
Parking was very safe
- 3/5
Breakfast was often missing food and had to ask staff to replace. Hot tub not operational. Room smelled like wet dog. Property looks like it had its hey-day in 1990, and really needs upgrades. Within walking distance to stadiums is the draw.
- 2/5
Bathroom shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, almost fell!! Bathroom door when I shut it my friend had to push it open for me, very scary if I traveled alone. I
- 5/5
Easy to walk to RJ stadium
- 3/5
Great location. A walkable distance from the football stadium. Didn’t like that all light fixtures had to be manually use to turn on and off. Had trouble with my tv remote but had fast service in fixing the issue. Same with my key to my room not working during my stay but that issue was quickly resolved as well.
- 1/5
We did not have a good experience with this hotel. Our first room was covered in roaches, so we asked to be moved into a clean room. We waited in the lobby for a staff member for a good 25 minutes before we were helped. The room they put us in had blood stains all over the floor and bed. The bathroom was not clean at all. Anytime room service was in our rooms our room keys either quit working or they locked the door from the inside and we had to get maintenance to open our door. The only positive about the hotel was the location in proximity to the stadium.
- 1/5
Filthy. Room had water damage on ceiling and resulting paint/plaster had fallen all over AC and floor. No way a cleaning crew didn't see it. Room was filthy. Not sure when floors were last cleaned but it wasn't this month or last. Also, refrigerator did not work.
- 1/5
Check in wasn’t the problem. We had a constant problem with the keys to the room having to go to the front desk every time we left the room for new keys. And the room was saturated with mold which was covered up by a very strong fragrance on the day of our arrival that wore off the next day exposing the strong mold smell. We will not be back!
- 4/5
Would have been higher rating but there was no hot water

Wi-Fi not working and there is no hot water. Hotel cannot give us a different room or refund. We cannot shower. Unacceptable
- 2/5
Stains on room carpet, bathroom not thoroughly clean, small cockroach in the bedroom, coffee machine not working
- 5/5
great for two tired travelers that were not originally gonna get a hotel for only being in town a few hours.
- 3/5
While we did not use the pool, it did appear clean, but had a few kids being well... kids. Breakfast was very simple, eggs, sausage, and waffles, but only one waffle maker so you had to wait awhile. Property was clean, room was clean, bed wasn't the worst one we've had, but it worked for the one night. Will certainly rethink staying here again.
- 5/5
Todo súper bien organizado y muy buen precio

Very clean and affordable, great place to stay for a nice trip
- 3/5
We only booked to use the hot tub and it was freezing and not working
- 1/5
I killed 2 cockroaches near the air conditioner unit . The remote didn’t work for tv . The bathroom toilet didn’t flush. The room smelled like wet rotten towels.. mind you this is the second room they put me in because In the first room my refrigerator and toilet didn’t work . Overall the location was ideal . But everything else was no good .
- 1/5
Room had roaches not seen until morning.
- 1/5
Not good
- 1/5
The hallways smelled like wet carpet, inside the room smelled like wet carpet, the bathroom faucet we were not able to switch from shower to faucet it's broken, after a long business meetings we wanted to enjoy jacuzzi and the reason we picked the hotel, it was turned off i set in cold water waiting for jacuzzi to start and it never did, my husband asked front desk and she said nothing i can do, we checked out early instead of crediting the additional night as promised they charged us additional night and early check out fee without our consent to continue use the credit card, dispute has being set with credit card company and i purchased insurance in case of cancelation will be no further fees. i would not recommend your hotel to anyone, i am not even speaking about the breakfast seriously in 2025 you cant buy a few fruits? and breakfast was not as bad as the stench in hallways and room, the broken faucet prevented me from properly washing my body and the fact that your maintenance were to lazy to fix the only thing that your hotel is good for jacuzzi is not a good business move at all
- 4/5
The front desk staff was very kind & friendly right from check in. Got our room but the room had a strong odor. However, the front desk staff was very understanding and accommodating and relocated us to a better room. For the price we paid, the place was decent and felt safe.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel and great services and friendly staff. I will visit again this hotel. I recommend this place to stay . Thank you for all services.

we checked out and got a room elsewhere.

The lobby were so clean and smelling so nicely. But when we went up to our room it smells so bad . So we asked to give us another room the second room also smells and worst smells like a very strong urine . Even our little kids say they wont stay in the room coz it stinks. we just asked for a refund but she said she cant give it to us coz we already used the 30 mins policy. Which by the way we checked in and left bcoz we had to get dinner before we went to the assigned room. So no refund. So they decide to have my husband go with the cleaning lady and showed him 3 rooms and have him checked the room . The 2nd room is the only one that decent it has a smell but not so bad compared to the other room that they looked and the 2 rooms that they sent us . good thing i always carry room spray.

Horrible stay. I do not recommend
- 5/5
everything I expected and more!
- 1/5
There were roaches in the room. Roaches in the bed and on the walls.
- 4/5
Close to stadium
- 5/5
The visit was great, housekeeping was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great!! Bathroom was clean. Room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the my stay, most definitely will stay here again when visiting the area 🙂

Awesome staff
- 1/5
Don’t be fooled! After checking in and being in the room for no longer than 30 minutes, we decided to eat our Pizza Hut we ordered. I sat at the desk while my husband sat on the bed We didn’t finish our first slice before seeing something crawling on the wall!!!! I yelled to my husband what is that? After killing it, I stood by the TV looking towards the window and the desk where I was just eating. To be amazed by two more cockroaches coming out of nowhere crawling on the wall!! I’m assuming they came out because we had food. I quickly packed my things being sure I didn’t take any roaches with me and proceeded to check out!!!! Upon checkout, the front desk didn’t deny the cockroaches, nor reassured me They were not cockroaches!!! As we were walking out He was running up stairs to our room with cleaning supply in hand.
- 4/5
I would stay at this hotel again. Good value for the price. A little outdated, rooms had a musty smell, carpets could use a through cleaning but overall cleanliness was good.
- 3/5
There were roaches in our room. The shower curtain rod was hanging loosely. We had to request towels, sheets, pillows and they responded half of the time.
- 2/5
the staff were very polite and helpful, however that did not make up for the fact the building needs to be inspected. mold and cockroaches and a foul odor in the rooms. building in need of much repair. stains on the carpet and black mold on ceiling. the cleaners are fighting a losing battle as much as they tried. this company is normally on my fav list, but this one turned my stomach. sad!! when you pay over 250 a night for this.
- 5/5
Clean , spacious room. Excellent staff
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. Just for one night.
- 4/5
Great
- 5/5
Breakfast was very good. Room was very clean. Staff was very good
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and the room very clean. However, there was some type of leak in the room(possibly from the air conditioning unit), that caused a large portion of the carpet to be very wet.
- 1/5
The 1st room we had 320 stunk so bad of mold and mildew we instantly went downstairs to tell the front desk. He gave some spray to use which was nice but didn’t touch the smell. Then we discovered the fridge didn’t work so back down I went. I tried to call but the phone didn’t work either. He switched us rooms to 321, which stunk with mold and mildew as well after a couple hours. My daughter is very allergic to mold and mildew and sneezed the entire time to the point she was miserable. The room was so damp the bedding and our clothes were damp. Come Sunday morning which was our 2nd morning there, we were awakened by extremely loud banging that lasted for a couple hours. I tried to call the front desk and surprise that phone didn’t work either. I called from my phone and was told they would have someone check it. Not sure if it was an ac unit hot water tank or what which could be possible since we had NO hot water the 2 nights we stayed but even after I called it proceeded to bang for another half hour or so. Had we not had tickets for the game and the location being in walking distance to the stadium we would have found another hotel the first night. We immediately packed and checked out right after the game Sunday night and had to pay for another hotel to prepare for our 15 hour drive home. I will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Quiet, great staff, nice environment.
- 2/5
The best thing about the hotel is its proximity to Raymond James Stadium, which is a 10-15 minute walk. The bad is we killed a roach in the middle of the night: the desk was understaffed resulting in such inconveniences as no one to bring us a missing hair dryer until hours later: a missing TV remote that was never replaced despite attempts to get another one.
- 5/5
Place is a good value close to the stadium. Staff was nice
- 5/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean (bathroom could have been cleaner), breakfast bar was great.
- 4/5
Pretty lobby, and it looks like recent repairs and upgrades in the room. They need to replace the carpeting in the hallways, but it’s not terrible. The room is plain, but clean and comfortable, with an updated bathroom. Felt safe and it is in a convenient location.
- 4/5
Everything OK
- 2/5
Staff were lovely and really friendly. Sadly the room smell was awful, smelt damp and the AC unit was filthy. The grubby net curtain covered a broken window glued up. Cockroaches were in the bathroom coming out from the toilet fittings.
- 4/5
Overall it was a decent place to stay, a short walk to the stadium for football, the only issue I had was the smell, it smelled like mildew through the halls and in our room.
- 3/5
The hotel was ok. Our keys didn't work for our room. Had to get a second set. They worked for a little bit but then stopped working. Went to use the elevator at one point and the door wouldn't close. After a few minutes of trying to get it to close we stepped out of the elevator and then it started to close so we got back in and then it wouldn't close again. We then got off to use the other elevator. The bed sheets felt a little wet, I'm thinking from humidity. Lastly, the shower was not great. The running water would get hot enough but when you turned it to shower mode it would just be warm. Having long hair, you get very cold when you can't stand under a hot enough shower. I constantly had to switch back and forth from shower mode to faucet mode. Only stayed one night so not worth complaining to staff about.
- 2/5
Room was dirty, hair on sheets, garbage on floor, bathroom sink not clean, no towels and smelled like mildew.
- 2/5
Room smells like mold. Ac leaked soaking the carpet underneath which explains the smell
- 2/5
The shower head was broken The security lock on the front door was removed Not very clean
- 3/5
Room had a really bad musty smell. AC was on the lowest setting but room was still very warm. Staff was very welcoming and property very clean (always saw someone cleaning) Great location!
- 3/5
When we checked into our room there was a very bad strong smelling odor. The next day we were talking to other guest on our floor and we were not the only ones to experience this. They did not offer the option of picking up dirty towels since they only cleaned every 3 days and we stayed 2. That was fine but this was not told to us at checkout nor were we able to get the option of fresh towels. During check out the clerk was not rude at all but didn’t explain what was happening at all and left a lot unexplained. Our first room we were unable to get into and then our second room only one of the keys worked. The room was not dirty but the door to the mini fridge was broken and stuck out so if you walked by you would bang into it. Over all it wasn’t a terrible stay but I do not think it lived up to the price we paid.
- 3/5
Room key didn't work for 2 of 3 rooms we booked. Had to get a new room.
- 5/5
Going to Bucs game. Great hotel- really close. Saul helped us with finding a great sport bar the night before the game.
- 5/5
Very professional staff. Great restaurant recommendations. Big clean room
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable but the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Very noisy!
- 1/5
Need to be more clean and they charged me a deposit and they told me I I’ll get back I didn’t get anything!
- 5/5
I looked for a hotel within walking distance to where the Rays (temporarily) were playing baseball. This place fit all my needs nicely.
- 2/5
Leaky air conditioner, clogged drain, non working electrical sockets, and non- working keys
- 3/5
Alevia at the front desk was very attentive always nice to walk by and to say hi.
- 5/5
Overall cleanliness and great staff.
- 1/5
After checking in, first room had to be changed out. Second room was not acceptable due to black mold in the bathroom, shower and ceiling. Three more rooms were shown and issues with each of them, but the third was the lesser of the three evils. As we had spent a lot of money for football tickets For the next day, we opted to continue with our stay since there was no available hotels in the area with rooms. I found black mold under the bathroom vanity after I had to pick up an object that fell to the floor. There was also ceiling and water damage above the bed Pictures were shown to the front desk for this. This hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated before anyone else is allowed to stay there. My Son and I both had sore throats, headache, headaches, and nasal burning from the condition of the room. The hotel has a musty smell from the second. You walk in the door and the rooms are no better. Needless to say after the condition of the rooms we opted not to eat due to not knowing what’s happening behind closed doors since what you could see was not very good.
- 3/5
Nice place close to stadium. But we was there 2 days and had to ask for towels for day 2. they charged me twice for 2 day stay total of 870 dollars. and then argued with me that they didnt and i had bank statements proving otherwise. Now i have to wait until i get home to dispute this with my banker.
- 1/5
Front desk sent me to room where a guy was tiling floor and could not speak a word of English. Not a problem, walk back to front desk, get back in line, wait and get told by reception person, sorry those guys did not communicate with me that they were fixing tiles in a bathroom. I was given another room... toilet would not flush. I did my own repair in the water tank and in the morning TV was no longer working and toilet would not stop running. Grab a delicious fresh coffee from lobby and ask for another room. I get up to the 2nd floor with my bags packed and unpack without making sure the TV in this room and toilet worked... 15 minutes later when I try to turn the TV on it's not working. They send someone and he spends 30 minutes to deduct it must be batteries in the remote. My friend in another room left his iPad on the desk at checkin. The next morning he asks me to help him look for it everywhere.... at the front desk in lost and found, in my car, in his room, at the front desk again. He ends up asking for the security camera footage as we are checking out and after the same front desk person stated that nothing had been found, my buddy asked for footage of when he checked in and the man brushed aside a piece of paper and the iPad was "discovered" and handed to my friend. I wish someone had left a similar review as I would never have booked a room there in the first place. Peace
- 4/5
Hotel staff always helpful and with a smile on their faces. Id stay there again.
- 1/5
I had to change rooms after I unpacked. The refrigerator did not work in the first room. Additionally, a light bulb was out. The second room did not have all the outlets to supply power to charge my cell phone. The AC unit in this room did not cool as well as the first room. Scuff marks on the walls. I will not stay there again. That place is a dump!!!
- 1/5
The front desk staff were very nice but the hotel itself was awful. The rooms smelt of mildew. We ended up requesting a new room and it was a little better but the smell was unbearable.
- 3/5
The room was pretty outdated. The tub looked old and the shower knob was falling off.
- 2/5
The rooms really smell bad
- 3/5
Convenient location if you are going to stadiums for a game.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
Bed sheets were stained.
- 1/5
Awful. The room smelled, dirty entire hospital. The only good thing was the staff. They even know their place of employment stinks. The franchisee can do better, especially with those prices.
- 5/5
Very conveniently located. Short walk (approx. 10-15 min) to RJS. The free breakfast was pretty good. There was a sandwich shop in the front plaza that was pretty good, there are some stores/restaurants on the other side of RJS (a little further walking distance maybe 25-30ish minutes). Traffic in and out was pretty easy to navigate. It is an older hotel that was renovated so it does have its flaws, our room had a musty smell to it. Other that that everything was clean. The staff was super nice and welcoming.
- 1/5
There was so many issues with the rooms, the smell, the lack of cleanliness, the two room changes, the cigarette burns in the comforter and the blood on my sheets. I don’t understand, clean isn’t difficult.
- 2/5
Upon arriving to our room we noticed the toilet had leaked. It left a puddle on the floor. There was no hot water in the shower and the pipes knocked extremely loud half the night. The elevator is also extremely slow and the door gets stuck a lot so you’re just sitting there waiting for it to close
- 2/5
Avoid room 426, moldy smell. The entire hotel has a smell, but 426 is overwhelmingly bad. I realize it was humid and summer, but this was awful. On to of that the shower leaks.
- 3/5
Staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. The carpeting throughout hotel was in need of a cleaning. It seemed dingy and old. There was a musty odor in the hallways and in the room. In fact I asked to be switched to another room and that was the odor was the same. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet on the 4th floor, which helped me to get a good night's sleep. Overall, I would rate it a 6 out of 10.
- 5/5
Easy to get to baseball stadium.
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel feels a little older and maybe in need of carpet cleaning. The rooms do have an odor and it's probably because of the carpeting. Once I was in the room for awhile, I didn't notice any longer.
- 5/5
Muy buen servicio, los trabajadores muy atentos y actúan con mucha precaución y profesionalidad…
- 4/5
Easy walk to stadium to watch a baseball game. Staff was friendly. No restaurants within walking distance but plenty to drive to a few miles away.
- 1/5
I explained to the staff that I just wanted to check in at 9:00 PM (not at 12:45 AM after my movie finished) and asked if I could pay the deposit when I returned. She refused and told me to drive to a gas station ATM — which upset me even more since there was no ATM in the hotel lobby. As I was on my way to the bank, I received a call saying they had canceled my reservation altogether — seemingly out of revenge because I told the staff member she was rude and inconsiderate. I also pointed out that I’ve stayed at other Hotels.com properties in Key West and never once had to leave a $100 deposit. This left my family and me without a room late at night. Thankfully, Best Western nearby checked us in immediately for $115 and did not require any deposit. This Clarion Pointe was rude, unprofessional, and completely ruined our plans. I will never stay here again and strongly recommend others avoid this property at all costs.
- 5/5
Only stayed for a night but the staff is super nice, place was clean, and breakfast in the morning is a plus! definitely would come again!
- 1/5
There were blood stings in the carpet. The toilet holder was broken. The building was smelly overall
- 4/5
outdated
- 4/5
Everything was good except the housekeeping service because they offer it only every 3 days
- 3/5
The room was uncomfortably cold (around 60°F), and unfortunately, cockroaches were seen. On the bright side, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. The front desk lady who checked us in, was very friendly and welcoming. However, the breakfast area was extremely crowded and lacked proper organization
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Fairly clean nice staff convenient location, inexpensive
- 2/5
The overall stay was great. Great location for ppl who love sports bcause everything is right there. There were 3 people and soup and towels for one person. They had 3 on the reservation.there was a pull out couch but no sheets or cover so I had to come back down for those. The only bad part was how they treated my mom and uncle when we reported he fell in the tub due to no floor mats. We were looking for a refund. All we wanted was to report it and let management know that their tubs were very slippery and needed floor mats. They didn't even apologize. We weren't looking for anything but an apology and acknowledgement that it would be handled. No one called me. No one sent an apology. Nothing. That I found very unprofessional. Besides that. It's a great place
- 5/5
Very nice room. Very clean. Only issue was they don’t take tap to pay and the hotel is individually owned but got a text from the corporate office telling me to check out was at noon when in fact, the checkout was 11. So at 11 AM when the knock came to my door, I was not ready to leave because I was under the impression check out was at noon, perhaps have a conversation with corporate about those text messages or change your checkout time to noon
- 3/5
Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. Nice bed, and a chair and couch to sit at. The bathtub, shower did not drain well. The water was at my ankles by the time my shower was over. The hot water was impossible to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold. Could not find a happy balance. Only ate breakfast one day. Cold eggs and no meat. Had a waffle maker. Two nights in a row my room keys did not work. I was on the 4th floor and had to go. Had to back down and get my key redone. Wi fi was weak and had to sign back in each day. It was quiet though.
- 3/5
"Overall, my start here was good, but there are some things that really need some attention. First off, the TV in my room was cool but it'd be way better if it had streaming services like Netflix or Hulu - that'd take it to the next level. The card key entrance gave me a lotta problems, like it didn't work right a few times, so they gotta fix that or upgrade it ASAP. Breakfast was ok, tbh. It could've been better, maybe more options or fresher stuff. Now the big issues: the carpets in the hall smell like dampness and mold. Not cool, dude. And the bathroom... like, it was clean and all, but it needs some TLC beyond just cleanin' and paintin'. It needs to be updated, feel like a decent bathroom, you know? Other than those things, start was good. But gotta fix these problems pronto."
- 1/5
I'm no hotel snob...but this one ain't it. I booked this hotel because if the price and proximity to Raymond James stadium. We came to town for a Bucs game. I honestly should have canceled our rooms as soon as we got there, because it didn't look like the pictures online, there were about 6 people smoking right in front of the door with at least 2 of them smokin some pretty strong weed. When I walked into the lobby, the smell of weed subsided enough for me to smell the mildew/mold smell. For some reason, I decided we'd stay, so up to the rooms we went. My mom was in ome of the rooms with my older kids and she found some little thing that had two 2 inch needles attached to it that were poking upward in the middle of the bed under the sheet. When we went to the front desk, we tried to explain what happened and the first response was "no Ingles". We struggled through that interaction and they gave a bogus "its to help keep the sheets on the bed" excuse. Btw, NONE of the beds we had had these things on them. There was no soap, there was no shampoo, the hot water didn't get hot, the rooms smelled even stronger of mold/mildew, the elevator got stuck twice, the door keys wouldnt work and i had to replace them twice, the pool was too dirty to let my kids swim, the hot tub had multiple cigarette butts floating in it, every spot in the lot was a "compact" spot and the fitness center wouldnt unlock to be able to use it. But hey the fresh baked cookies at the front desk was a nice touch
- 3/5
The bed was very uncomfortable. The blanket and headboard had...stains... from previous occupants. My husband is a mechanic and uses a blacklight for his work so we had it with us and thought we would be funny and check, totally not expecting to find anything. The pillows were completely flat. The smoke detector in our room had a plastic bag tied around it. The bathroom fixture covers were all unattached.
- 5/5
Great trip with my son
- 4/5
It was a Sunday morning for their free breakfast and supplies of food were limited and took quite a long time to be replaced, even including the coffee.
- 4/5
Good price. The only smell of bedding
- 4/5
Room had a very slight mildew smell that kind of went away when I ran the AC for a while.
- 3/5
Cabinet door ( housing microwave and refrigerator doesn’t close. Room is painted a dreary dark color. Rug is frayed. Hand rail outside of tub is loose. Molding on bathroom floor is loose.
- 3/5
I just don't like it
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Love the smell in the lobby. Very good in general
- 5/5
Nothing to add
- 3/5
Bad odor from the room carpet. It needs to be cleaned and deodorized. Have some pastries at the breakfast buffet.
- 4/5
Lovely clean room very a comfortable bed. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We made use of the pool and found it to be very clean. We were a little disappointed with the breakfast as it has little choice and just had the one small toaster which slowed everything down. Great location to if your going to the baseball or football as it’s just a 10 min walk it felt very safe.
- 5/5
The food is great!
- 5/5
Kind employees, clean, close proximity to the places we needed to go!
- 2/5
Had to stay unexpectedly for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and professional. However the room was terrible. No housekeeping or offer of fresh towels. Air-conditioning unit was leaving a wet patch on the carpet floor.
- 3/5
Close to Raymond James Stadium, quick easy check in. Didnt like ice vending machine not working properly, ceiling in room had craxk in dryway with black substance noted and a musty smell! Poor supply of shower supplies for 3 people!
- 3/5
Fantastic location and really large rooms. However, the bathroom was in rough shape and the last night there was water dripping from the ceiling. We had breakfast there on Sunday, but only a few things were ready at 7:30. Staff is friendly but I was disappointed in the condition of the hotel.
- 4/5
Room was nice but had a funny smell to it. Breakfast was decent but a lot of options and the waffle makers was great. Pool was great but needed a little cleaning. Only real disappointment was the hot tub. The jets didnt work except for 1 and the max temp says 104 but wasnt more than maybe 70 degrees. The pool was warmer. Great quick stay for a great price.
- 5/5
Please keep up the great hospitality and huge hugs to housekeeping m! not many hotels get this part right but country inn (those I’ve visited) have the best housekeeping teams; housekeeping teams are the all-stars of hotels! Muchos gracias!
- 3/5
The front desk staff was pleasant and checked us in without any problems. The room smelled of mold/mildew and there was an area on the ceiling that looked like there could have been a leak at some point. Breakfast was a "hot breakfast" but a lot of food was empty or really over cooked. If you're looking for a place for the night on the cheap, i say go for it but more than one night im gonna be a no on that one.
- 2/5
Our room stank if cigarette smoke, the corridors smelt of wee.
- 1/5
Shower had really low water pressure. Bathroom door handle, broke and dangling.
- 2/5
Customer service was great. The room and stay were disappointing to say the least. As soon as we entered the room it had a very strong smell. It smelled like mildew. We couldn’t even stay in the room without having chest pains and feeling sick. Absolutely horrible, we ended our stay early.
- 1/5
I had to be moved 2 times because of the cleanliness of the rooms. After being put into a 3rd room i opted to leave the property.
- 3/5
I liked how it was conveniently located in Tampa and that it was in the back of the parking lot so it wasnt on the main busy road. Nice staff and helpful. Had a pond with walking path behind it which was nice to walk and see nature in the city! The path bricks were dangerous cause not perfectly flat and had to be careful not to trip in some areas. Lots of dead trees and damaged from storms so i do believe they should clean up the landscaping in the back of the hotel. Other then that i enjoyed my 3 night stay. Thank you
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Staff was great. The area around the hotel was a little rough and there was a great deal of life happening after midnight going on in the parking lot.
- 2/5
The room smelled strong of bleach , the mattress was not comfortable, our deadbolt lock on our door did not work, and we found roaches in the bathroom. Instead of leaving and finding another Hotel we chose to change rooms at the request of the front desk personnel. the 2nd room had the same hard lumpy mattress , this room was carpeted and heavily stained . My next complaint and 1 of the main reasons we picked this Hotel was the promise of free breakfast which unfortunately they seemed to be out of several items everyday and was not what was promised. The staff was extremely friendly but only a 3rd of them spoke English.. I have photos of the bugs if needed
- 3/5
"Our first room had a moldy smell, but they accommodated us by changing our room, which was better."
- 5/5
Good
- 1/5
No hot water
- 5/5
Good location and good breakfast !
- 5/5
The perfect one night stop over following a long haul flight. The receptionist was amazing and very welcoming. Hotel was clean and tidy.
- 4/5
No hair dryer. No body wash, only a small square of soap. Breakfast was minimal, no eggs.
- 2/5
The room smelled of mold. Cards did not work. Breakfast was pathetic. Nobody at front desk to talk to. Smelled as if it was flooded.
- 4/5
It was super close to my destination, Steinbrenner field, where I was able to walk to. Room felt a little musty on day 1. Other than stains and marks left by previous patrons, the room was clean. It does need a little TLC as things were starting to crack, come off walls, etc, but that is also probablydue to age. Staff were all nice and always helpful!
- 2/5
Have stayed at Country Inns in other cities before. While not high luxury, generally can depend on them for well maintained property, quality breakfast and good service. This one does not meet that standard. Room felt very damp, uncomfortable. Believe AC needs to be replaced. Pictures on Expedia showed breakfast with abundant fruit. Saw no fruit until third day at hotel. On that day, 8-10 bananas were set out while I was eating dry cereal because there was no milk. They were gone in about 5 minutes, no more brought out. Used fitness center. Machines were tolerable, but no towels, no sanitary wipes to clean them.
- 3/5
Stopped here for last night of vacation before going to airport. Also geographically close to the baseball stadium. The room smelled like weed. There were some rough drywall patches in the bathroom that needed covering. Overall still a nice place for the night.
- 1/5
We could not even open door to room, even the attendant could not open. The lady Manager was decent, basically the only thing good there. Hope other people have a better experience.
- 5/5
good experience
- 5/5
Great property very close to the airport. Very convenient location
- 3/5
No comments, thanks.
- 2/5
1) Smelled musty 2) A/C controls were poor, usually too cold 3) Lighting was poorly located and not on switches 4) Towel racks were not convenient
- 3/5
First night I was given wrong information about my check in, I confirmed before I got there that I didn't need a credit card to check in due to my room being paid in full. Turned out I had to pay a deposit. Then the second night I was there I couldn't get towels because they stated that housekeeping had used them all that morning. Otherwise it was ok
