My airline came very late in by the time I got there the lady told me they were not taking any check-ins although she let me in the building just to let me know again that she couldn't do anything.

I liked the location of the property. Nearby shopping plazas and good food around the area. The room stay was okay for the 2 nights, but no one came to clean our room after we asked. The housekeepers stated that no one was assigned to clean my room, which I found weird. There was also roaches throughout the hotel and the bathroom tub wasn’t cleaned.

Air conditioning worked. The bedsheets and pillows seemed new . Actually pretty comfy and the room wasn’t too bad at all actually. Clean room. Smelled nice

The hotel was not a nice and comfortable stay. The elevator area was unclean and smelled of urine. The security cud have been better. A man came knocking at my door 5am. Worst experience ever. The breakfast is not even a good one... coffee and a muffin? That's a welcome refreshment. There was no pool and the staff was ok. There was no cleaning of the room until u asked for it nor was the towel exchange. I wouldnt recommend this hotel unless u were of african descent to which the stay would be most welcome cause those were all that there were.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. AC worked well in my room so I can't comment on issues other travelers may have had. Pet friendly was a must for me. Overall grounds could be cleaned up a touch, but for the price I would say it was a good value.

The room was Ok for the price, There’s no breakfast , it’s coffee and muffin. The coffee was cold, the 2nd pot empty, no coffee cream, was powder cream, and the lady at the desk was RUDE. The manager, a man was nice

This place was dirty. There was trash outside the room. There were bugs on the bed. Rust in the tub. Room key didn’t work. I had to cancel and I’m still waiting on refund 3 weeks later. Had to sleep on a friend’s couch for the night and search for another room the next day.

Worst experience ever! Hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, we felt very insecure to walk our dog at night. On top of that the room was infested with cockroaches. We killed more than a dozen and asked the front desk to move us to another room. They denied it and care less. Please do you a favor and don’t even consider staying there! 😡😡

It was an ok room. It was not the cleanest room. However, I had to get thione because I was leaving one in another hotel that was even worse. There were roaches here but there were visible signs that they had sprayed. We seen more and more dead bugs everytime we returned to the room. There was no shower curtain. When we checked in there was mulch all over the floor. It was literally just a bed and shower that we needed. So it was just that. If you have any expectations at all I would not recommend it. They said breakfast was at 6 but we couldn't even access the lobby at 7 so.

The 2 foreigners that staff the front office are rude and disrespectful. One of them threw away my property, a live plant that was accidentally left in the office. Upon returning to retrieve it, I was told that Terry tossed it. They do not seem to like Black Americans, don’t stay here.

The staff members were helpful but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. Roaches were all over our room, the amenities in the room were old, rusted and falling apart. The property could definitely use a makeover to be better.

Bathrooms are old, deteriorated and there was no shower curtain. Floors were filthy and we noticed immediately when my daughter took off shoes and white socks were black within minutes. Outside is disgusting and staff promised to bring a shower curtain but never came. Breakfast is a scam! Poorly managed and seems like a lot of homeless people lives there.

We had the queen studio. It was in the rear so less traffic and disturbances . So that was good. Full size refrigerator was nice and 2 burner stove . We saved a lot just by eating there. And a full weeks supplyStraight shot to Fort Lauderdale By the Sea Beach. The staff were nice and helpful. It had dirty floors but that's about it.

We tried to check in about 9:30 pm, only a couple of hours after our reservation, and were told rooms were all full & we had to request a refund from Hotels.com.

The room was disgusting and dirty, and they had no towels. There was very rarely anybody at the front counter and the telephone didn’t work. None of the things were plugged in, and when we went to plug-in, the lamp beside the bed outlet was burnt, and the plug-in cord was discussing there was something all over it. The shower curtain rod was broken. There was areas that there was holes in the wall. The microwave was filthy. The drawers and the kitchen were filthy. The microwave felt like it was gonna fall off the counter that it was drill to. It felt very unsafe you could tell that there was a lot of people living there, but even so there was just a very uneasy feeling. There was garbage underneath the bed and when my husband went to the front counter and had to wait for a half an hour for anybody to even show up to help him, he was talking to other people, and they had to literally clean their own rooms.

I know there's not much the staff could do, but there were other guests openly smoking pot in front of their rooms, making it impossible to prevent it from drifting into ours. I don't mind people smoking, I just don't want to have to smell it. On the positive side, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was clean.

#2 - very late at night, a man was asking us questions and followed us into the lobby area. #3 - worn/stained tub, leaky faucet, worn/scratches all over #4 - someone knocked on our door and said the front desk gave him our room. #5 - unclean room, dirty towels that had hair on them #6 didn’t feel safe, a lot of people wandering around the property at all hours. we switched to a different hotel

The bathroom was in poor condition, with a significant amount of rust. In addition, the bathtub and sink did not drain properly, causing water to accumulate. The window was also covered with mold, which made the room feel unhealthy and poorly cared for. The overall atmosphere around the property also felt strange and somewhat unsafe due to the unusual people in the surrounding area. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and safety.I would not choose to stay here again and hope management improves the cleaning standards, maintenance, and overall environment for future guests.

Floors in the entire unit was dirty, tub dirty, tiles grout was black, gnats everywhere, although designated as a nonsmoking room, stale cigars smoke was evident.

Given the circumstances and it was my only resort it was OK. Property said no smoking but persons were smoking and the smell came into my room. The room needs to be redone. Tub needs to be change and the slant thing the microwave is cotched on is not safe. Only one staff member was pleasant which was the young miss from. Jamaica. The others weren't as polite.

Long wait to check in, as no one was at the front desk. The property was littered with trash. The room did not have a lock on the inside door. The wall lights did not work. There was no closet door. Toilet was not connected to floor. The floor was chipping up in the bathroom. Only one small thing is shampoo as a toiletry. No toilet paper holder. All counters were stained. Area did not feel safe. Totally unacceptable for a $500 night charge.

The lobby was horrible and when I got to my room it smelled like urine and there were cockroaches climbing the walls. I went right back to the front desk and asked for a refund and got out of there!!!!

I didn’t even stay in this “hotel” when I got there the place looked like it was a homeless shelter, there were nobody at reception area to check in, but when I saw the place me and my husband just turned around al left, don’t get fooled by the pictures you see.

While the staff was quite friendly, overall, the accommodations were less than ideal. We chose the property for the kitchen, but there were no kitchen supplies upon arrival. I asked the front desk for some, as I discovered that was process, and I was given some…but simply two plates, two spoons, two cups, one plastic spoon, a two pots. Couldn’t do much with that and bought some plastic forks. The toilet wasn’t attached well to the floor and was quite wobbly. One of the lights was missing a bulb, things were a bit dirty, and we had roaches running about. There was also frequent occurrences of marijuana smoke wafting into the room, despite the signs outside the building that smoking marijuana was prohibited. There was also lots of trash around the grounds. I know some things are out of your control, but there is room for improvement.

The room floor was dirty when we arrived. After contacting the front desk we were told they would come clean the room so we went out for a bit. We came back and no one had serviced the room. We tried again the next day and were once again told the room would be cleaned. It was not. The lock on the door was also broken and fire alarm removed. We were not offered another room or any other accommodations.

The bath was cruddy the tile in the bathroom was old and dirty,the bathroom sink was old,stripping and cruddy, the inches on the door had heavy rust there were no toilet paper holder. Bathroom looked terrible and studio kitchen needed an upgrade. It looked a mess and I didn’t change rooms because the other rooms probably looked the same way. Someone came to the desk and asked to change rooms because her tub looked a mess like mine did.

unfortunately it was a total disaster - we got to the property only to be told they are double booked and had no rooms available. they had no solution and didn't even try to assist. Travelling to a strange country - ensuring that accommodations are booked in advance only to be turned away & then no assistance with trying to reach expedia. we drove all the way to Miami just trying to find somewhere to stay - we had to resort to sleeping in our van for the night. very discouraging and disappointing :-( will NEVER book with this brand

I had reserved 24 hours ahead of time just to get there and then tell me that they didn’t have a room wasted my time and money getting there then had to wait 10 minutes for them to attend me in the lobby, never again coming here.

The saff was great but the room was terrible and look like it needed a massive upgrade, the pictures and the room were not the same. It felt unsafe as a solo traveler. There was a toilet outside and broke down car in the parking lot.

I even had to squeeze past people in the hallway just to get into my room, which was very uncomfortable. • Overall: The place felt dirty, unsafe, and poorly managed. Definitely not worth the money, and I would never stay here again. If you value cleanliness, safety, and basic hospitality, stay far away from this place.

I didn’t like having to move to another room because the carpet needed to be removed. I am a senior citizen, so it was not easy to go back and forth emptying my room. There was mold in the bathroom tiles, but I took care of that. All in all, I am satisfied with ESA and will always book my rooms with this facility.

They were broken needles throughout the property check in took about 40 minutes as they were having conversation with each other and not acknowledging us. We checked out immediately after checking in there was blood on the floor in the elevator. Definitely not the expectation I had from an Expedia reservation.

The hotel was smelling of complete urine on the walkway to my room on the 2nd floor. Once inside the toilet was LEAKING WATER and they had a serious problem with ROACHES.

Property was in appalling state. Room had dirty carpets, sheets. Dirty and stained carpet. Smelled wet and musty. We left after 3 hours to find another hotel. Unfinished repair in the bathroom. Cracked faucet. Rusty shelf in freezer/fridge. Used wrappers under bed. Lamp and clock were not even plugged in. Currently requesting a full refund.

We stayed 2 nights and the staff was friendly. However the room a/c was not cooling and the microwave was rusty. The staff was prompt on getting it repaired. The tub was slippery. Be careful when going in the tub. There wasnt enough towels for two persons. There was no cooking utensils for kitchen ( no pots, cups, coffee make etc). Building neefs some upgrading.

I had few problems with the room. Maintenance took care of the phone not working ,the alarm clock not working and the toilet constantly running. Did it all the same day i notified front desk. Only hiccup i had was getting clean towels. I asked at front desk to drop some off Friday morning. I got back late Friday no towels. Sat morning i was going out for breakfast stopped at front office on way back. 15 minutes after getting back to room same lady knocked on my door and gave me clean towels. Great place to stay. Will stay here again

Kay, the front desk staff who is the only one who goes above and beyond for guests was one checking us in. She is deserving of a raise! Room was clean and the housekeepers do an excellent job with short staff conditions. They need more staff and treat their overworked staff better.

The place was filthy, the shower walls dirty, the place smelled old and the machine to program the room key was not working so the attendant had to open the doors for the guest. The place needs serious upgrades or close down.

Booked a room through Hotels.com. Received a confirmation and when arrived at property I was greeted by an employee in the parking lot. She asked if I was ok and I said I am here to check in. She informed me that my room was no longer available and that they are completely booked. She said I needed to contact hotels.com by 10 pm to cancel. I made contact and they needed to reach the hotel to confirm. They did not answer any calls. I even tried to contact the property. I was charged for the room and now I am having to waste time to get my money back for a stay I didn’t even have. The property is completely unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here.

Well there 3 unhappy guest in front of me. There was no front counter person until like 3:20pm. There was multiple request for towels and never received them. And to top off the stay, there were roaches in the room. Definitely will not be staying at this place again

1st room main light didn't work. TV didn't work, room was dirty. Went to lobby to inform them; waited 10 minutes for staff member. She moved us to another room. People were smoking weed outside. TV didn't work, tub had dried blood in it, room was FILTHY. Didn't sleep, just impatiently waited for morning to check out and never return.

As we were checking in, another test was having a personal problem. I’ll checking in. I think the staff handled it kindly I was very impressed. I’m very happy with my stay.

The picture on the site isn’t the same in person. They have roaches, the room door you had to lift up on it in order to lock the door, They didn’t have extra clean towels, lots of smoking in the hallway. My room key stop working and it took the front desk clerk like 30 minutes to come, they’re understaffed overall I wouldn’t recommend that place to my worst enemy.

The door was open when we arrived and a cat was inside. The landline was not connected. The carpet was wet. There was an awful smell. The most outrageous thing was that there was feces left in the toilet. This place should be condemned and I should not have been charged!

The property definitely needs to be updated. The tubs have cracked paint in them. The toilet was not cleaned there were poop stains which could have been cleaned. The tv was not working because they stopped paying their services. The WiFi was ok but I was also asked to pay for even better services. I shouldn’t have to see holes and have paint just peeling off. Was disappointed but the staff was friendly and I enjoyed talking with them.

The room smells spoiled and the microwave didn't work and no hotel service to tell. Two days without being able to heat up food is terrible. I spent more time trying to heat up food then trying to put away my die father, then to fight with an supervisor location 😤.

Very bad smell in the room.

The toilet had dried pee from the previous stay. The floor was not clean. The microwave was brown on the inside from how dirty it was. It also smelled moldy. Other people live in the complex and is not safe

Arrived at the hotel to check in for our stay & was informed that they were unable to accommodate us for the double bed room that I had reserved, because they had dropped some of their rooms from the availability. We were left scrambling looking for last minute accommodations at other area hotels. We wound up paying more for our stay due to the last minute booking at the other hotel we managed to find a vacancy in. This hotel was very irresponsible and offered no solutions for us. We will never stay there after the horrible experience we had just trying to stay there.

Good experience overall. Kind staff. Convenient area. Easy access. Negative points: Poor cleanness and useless kitchen without utensils.

Horrible receptionists too, room was a wreck - hole punched in bathroom door, soap dispenser cracked, toilet not flushing, washbasin stuffed up with black stuff coming out of it - worst experience ever!!!

The room smelled as though is has never been aired out. There were flies in the bathroom and kitchenette area.

When I first showed up to check in, clerk told me there were no rooms available, even though I had a reservation and prepaid online. There were several others complaining about the same thing and the condition of the property at the same time. She finally found a room for me, and when I went to look at it, there were no sheets or blankets on the bed! I left a note at the front desk and left for dinner. When I came back room was the same. I was on a motorcycle road trip, and not willing to go somewhere else, or I certainly would have left. I spent the night lying on the bare mattress.

Will not recommend.

The bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi was stable and easy to use.the water pressure was a bit low considering it's a measure to deter people from wasting water .I did find mosquitoes in the room the staff should have sprayed the place and I found a few cockroach bodies on the floor but overall this day was peaceful and quiet

The room and property look nothing like the pictures, the building is old and in horrible condition and the room was infested. This was not ok

We got a room on the 2nd floor and walking up the stairs was bags of trash laid out, it smelled horrible like rotting trash, we get to our room for damaged toilet paper holders in the bathroom and cracked walls over all a truly sad experience we clocked out at our appropriate time and went to a different hotel.

This property should not even be listed on Expedia or any sites. Bath tub was ripped, outside and inside was dirty, bathroom had some droppings!. Upon requesting, they gave another room. This room though relatively better, did not have shower curtain, no dust bin…booked this hotel because we had good experience with other extended stay properties in Northeast. Never stayed in such a property with such pathetic condition.

The rooms were roach infested, roaches were in Tub and just hanging out on bathroom door...this was terrible as I am actually medically allergic to roaches and toilet did not work. Room smelled.

We didn’t stay here but switched to the Extended Stay America in Plantation because right as we arrived we found out about serious recent crime issues right near the hotel. We reached out to the hotel and to Expedia to try to cancel the reservation and get a refund and were passed from one agent to another but so far no resolution. We couldn’t get a hold of the hotel itself. We are still looking to get this resolved but so far the agents we spoke to have kept saying that Expedia can refund the money but that it has to be done by a different department. We have already been passed to two departments and are waiting to hear back from someone.

As soon as I opened the room door , there was a strong stink smoke smell. The tub was filthy and so were the bed sheets. This was not what I expected at all.

The management of this property is horrible. I had a late check in and there was noone at the lobby. There was a telephone outside the door and a sign that said press 0 to contact support. Of course the phone didn't work so you could not dial anyone. I even called the general hotel telephone line and noone picked up to help. There was one other guy waiting in the parking lot with a different issue and he asked me how to check in which of course I couldn't answer. This kind of thing should never happen. I and other gentleman waiting went down the street to La Quinta which of course had a full lobby.

Dirty place

There was no coffee or breakfast, the cards to get into our room was not working and we had to wait for the manager to open our room every time. The lampshades were broken, rusted tub, the couch was dug up or punctured and we couldn’t even sit on it. We had to wear shoes at all times as the floor was sticky. Couldn’t see out of the window as it was covered in moss or some other green stuff. We had to request dishes and when we got them the non stick pans were scratched. It was a hobble 5 day stay, we won’t be going back there, EVER!!!

The carpet and tub looked nasty. I was given 3 different remotes for the tv, therefore the tv didn’t work. The microwave didn’t work so I had the lady at the front desk heat my food.

This hotel advertises with old pictures, the rooms was dirty an unkempt, the microwave had rust on it and filthy inside, the fridge was dirty as well and there were bugs in the mattresses.

Not so good, there was a lot of noise didn’t put no towel to take a shower. It was dirty.

Additionally, I overheard numerous complaints from other guests about the condition of their rooms and bathrooms. Specific issues mentioned included broken furniture, malfunctioning toilets that would not flush, and general disrepair. These reports, combined with the disorganized atmosphere, raised serious concerns about the quality, cleanliness, and safety of the accommodations.

Too many drawbacks to list. I don't like writing bad reviews with all the details . As an experienced traveler, I would avoid this place. They have very poor security at night. Rooms are old and not well maintained. Not worth the money or your night's rest.
