    The 4th time I have stayed at this venue and the hot water hasn’t worked two of the four stays. I found two dead roaches on the floor. I didn’t even check out. I packed my bags and left.

    Unfortunately I can’t put my seal of approval on this hotel. I didn’t have a real good experience. When we arrived, the hotel was very quiet which was nice. When I checked in at the front desk, it seemed as though the Front desk clerk might have been talking on his phone through his headphones. If he wasn’t talking on his phone then I don’t know who he was talking to, because I’m pretty sure it wasn’t me. When we walked into the room, there was a pretty bad odor, but decided not complain, as we just checked in and had to leave early the next morning. I’m not sure what the odor was, but I think it might have been mold. There was also lots of sticky something on the bathroom door, I tried to clean but wouldn’t come off. When I woke up at 5 a.m. the next morning, there was no hot water, I let the water run for almost 10 minutes and still no hot water. I tried to call the front desk and got no answer. I then went to the front desk and there was nobody there. I couldn’t take a shower. The water finally got warm about 30 minutes later. I couldn’t get any ice out of the ice machine either. The breakfast was ok, but it was like 90 degrees in the dining room.

    I arrived at this hotel around midnight after traveling all day. I booked it on hotels.com because it was rated an 8 out of 10. I even upgraded to the suite to give my wife and I more room during our stay. When I got there, the room key I was given failed to open the door. This happened five more times spanning three different rooms before he finally just let us into the original room using a master key, but couldn't give us a copy. So one of us had to stay in the room else we were unable to access the room again. Upon entering the room, we were immediately hit with the smell of mildew. After pondering our options, we opted to get a refund, which the front attendant shrugged off and simply stated that it smells like that because it's an old hotel. After some back and forth, we were able to get a refund, I reached out to hotels.com and they were absolutely no help. It was after midnight and we were on our own trying to find somewhere to stay. We went to a hotel named Aloft and since it had no pet fee, it really wasn't that much more expensive, but it was exponentially cleaner and the staff was far more helpful.     GPS took us in through the back drive which was less appealing. It was difficult to find the front door from that perspective but inside was clean. It felt a lot like an older apartment building. The side door was not locked during the day and I wondered if it was locked at night. It met our needs, and the price was right but we are unlikely to use this location again.

    I booked my room on May 21 at 10pm and drove through the night and arrived the next morning, only to be told I was marked a no show for my 3pm check in for May 21st, hours before I had even made the reservation. How can I be at my reservation before I even made it? After driving 14 hours alone for a funeral, I wasn’t expecting special treatment, just basic customer service. Instead, I was treated like I was the problem. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled was frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing from start to finish. I was told my room was already given out and I couldn’t get another room even after the girl offered one, she changed her mind.. The front desk staff was very dismissive, unhelpful, and the things that were being said just did not make sense. I also was unable to get in contact with management because the girl was telling the booking agent she was in charge. I just don’t see that being true.

    Amazing service. Showed up late night after a last second booking and the attending manager was super accommodating and helpful. Gold stars all around for this place. If i have to make a sudden stop for some rest in the area its the first place ill be going to.

    The hotel, staff and room were great except that the handicap shower head always sprayed on the curtain when you placed it in the holder to bathe and the bed was way too high for a wheelchair bound person. Additionally, Expedia said I was reserving a handicapped SMOKING room. There are NO smoking rooms in this hotel. There are only about 10 parking spaces near the front door. The rest are around the side and up a hill. Difficult for handicapped to navigate.

    They didn't have ada room so I had to go into hall to public bathroom. Couldn't get in shower the whole time I was there very terrible not a good 3 days but I made it thur staff was friendly but couldn't help with anything restroom was nasty toilet paper everywhere got stuck to my wheels on my wheelchair

    The hallway smelled extremely damp and musty to our room. Inside it was clean enough, but the bathroom floor tiles alert dirty, cracked and scratched. The shower was dirty as well, like it wasn’t scrubbed in between guest stays.

    While the hotel was clean and the continental breakfast had good standard options, the room left a lot to be desired. The carpet was thin and very dirty. My white socks became black very quickly, so I wore sandals to keep my feet off the carpet the whole time. The bathroom surfaces weren’t properly cleaned when I first arrived. When I asked for the room to be cleaned, the staff responded kindly and they properly cleaned the bathroom and provided new clean towels. I would only stay there again if I got a room with a better floor - which I did see another room with nicer looking floors, so hopefully they’re slowly replacing them.

    The rooms needs a deeper cleaning, the shower floor was dirty, the AC looked dirty and sounded wierd, the floor carpets felt dirty as well. There was even a small cockroach I found near the table where you eat. They really need to improve the hygiene, I didn't had any breakfast or dinner in the hotel because I didn't trust how clean the kitchen would be based on my experience on the room.

    We check in after midnight and once we reached we were given a room in 2nd floor so we visited as we wrrr tired travelling from Orlando and we saw the room was not ready . It was a horrible experience then we again took out bags n came to reception and they were trying to figure out if anymore rooms available . After a search we finally found a room . First and last experience with Wyndham . What’s the use of booking earlier ?

    The hotel looks decent when you first walk in but it's a different story with the rooms. The room smells musty with a touch of mildew. The walls are chipped/peeling with visible screws trying to hold things together. The bed felt damp and the pillows were flat and lumpy. The floor dips in certain places. You can hear everything from your neighbors above and to the side of you. Will never recommend this place to anyone

    Convenient location, bed was comfortable and had good breakfast. The main issue was our room smells like mold once you turn on the AC so we turned it off even though the AC works well. We had a king room on the second floor. Another issue was there was always a puddle when you step out of the shower because the seal wasn’t tight enough. Might be better in other rooms.

    The room were disgusting. At check in asked if the room were clean we was told the rooms had just been clean. The room and the bathroom were NOT clean at all before or durning my entire stay. Spoke with the manager at check out about the dirty rooms and she apologized and advised they are short staff but will be providing a credit back for the inconvenience. The breakfast was good and the restaurant was good as well. The WiFi was awful as well. All in all it was okay to just sleep and go.

    Rooms were not well kept at all. The original rate was tripled due to graduation and the rooms were less than bearable. Staff did upgrade to a suit which was also not clean, but did smell better. The bed was marked with a blue stain, the curtains dirty, as well as the bathroom shower. Elevator out as well. The hotel has potential but could use a major uplift.

    Excellent room. Clean and nice. Can’t be the price. Only issues I had was I used the laundry and the washing machines didn’t was the clothes. I ask about refund was told had to call the number on machine. I wasted $16 on the machines. Told the front desk they needed to put out of order sign on the machines.

The room was very clean, but I feel as if it could have used more lights. It was somewhat dark. The shower was very awkward gettin into. I had a hard time with the water spout and the entrance to the shower being on the same wall where you step in. That was the worst. The entrance to the shower should not be on the same wall as the shower head. And lastly, the bar/food for purchase on the patio closed too soon.

    First night on this stay we were given a room that had roaches. Was a bad experience. Went down to the front desk shortly after check in and ask for a different room. We were given room we stayed in the previous night. The rest of the stay was uneventful and great. The first room was just funky with roaches. I hope they got it under control. We asked the front desk several times about it they said they had called an exterminator and were working on the problem. Just glad room we moved to was not infested as well.

    I didn’t like much about the place because the odor took over. I would like to say I’d like something about this place but there’s nothing I like about this place. I don’t even really feel comfortable sleeping here, but I don’t have much options and I already booked. The smell in this hotel is unbearable. The smell in the rooms is unbearable. I went to the second and third floor and the smells are still the same. There is such a huge stench and my husband has asthma and it was very hard for him to sit in this room. Also, the bed linens were super dirty. I have not seen bed linens with green stains on them. It doesn’t even look like the beds have been changed. I really think somebody needs to come and reevaluate this hotel and manage it properly. I will not be staying here again. Even the shower was dirty. There was still food on the floor from the next guess. Do not stay here

The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room cool and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would gladly return again.

    The bathroom in the room was disgusting. Mold and mildew everywhere. It looked like they gave a blind person a caulking gun and said “Have fun”. The a/c worked but definitely needed maintenance. There were bleach stains on the artwork on the walls. The amount of noise was a bit much. You can hear the people in the room next door breathing and everything else. There was barely enough parking and it wasn’t fully booked. The lobby and bar was nicely renovated. I guess they haven’t gotten to the rest of it yet.

    Like others mentioned, musty smell covered by cleaning solution, but not as bad as others experience. Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other places we've stayed. Desk person was so-so, not bad but not super friendly. Nice patio. Hotel is tucked away, like many others at this exit, which was nice, felt like a quiet area. Lots of dining options. Overall good stay. They do need to address the musty smell.

    I was disgusted when I entered the room and saw a dime sized brown spot on the chair. I believe it was chocolate, and I was able to turn the cushion over, but it should have reported by the person who did it. If not that, the person that cleaned the room, it made me feel the room was not cleaned properly. I will consider staying elsewhere next time. I reported it to the front desk asking to have the cushion changed, but all they said is they would tell the day shift. There was also no clock in the room, which although not neccessary, is something I would prefer to have.

    Location was convenient to the job location we were working at. That's one of the reason I chose this hotel. The showers (x2 rooms) were disgustingly dirty. The shower pans were black in an acrylic floor. Mold was all through the caulking in the shower. The carpets looked and felt like they have never been cleaned. I could/would NOT walk around barefoot in my room. I had 2 rooms, the other for my employee, both the same condition. Breakfast was a little short of what I expected. Cheap is one thing, but I expected more from the hotel name.

    OMG! This hotel was a complete surprise. We booked it the day of. No clue what it would be like. From the entry to service it was very nice, clean, beautiful, and the gentleman at the counter was very nice, and even a bit funny which was refreshing. When we got to our room it was huge. It was very clean. Basically a one bedroom apt. The towels were nice. The bed was very comfy. The shower was big. The sofa in the living room was comfy too. The next morning we got up and ate breakfast downstairs. Cereals, Scrambled eggs, ham, waffle maker, fresh fruit, breakfast rolls, breakfast pastries, grits, orange juice, coffee, and more. What else does one need. For under $80 this hotel is a total steal. Ten thumbs up. The upstairs neighbors (lol) needed to learn how to walk softer. Neanderthals. Nothing other than that for an hour.

    My two biggest issues with the hotel are first the room layout is odd. When you walk into the door the bed is right there and the extra space for luggage and the “closet” are located behind the door. I personally wouldn’t stay for a week in this room. For one night as just a place to rest it was fine. We stayed here both coming and going to South Florida and on the first night the bathroom door was warped wouldn’t close. The second issue was on our way back when we arrived late at night the air conditioner in our room was off. This made the room quite warm and very humid, it’s Florida. It took a couple of hours for the room to get to a more comfortable temperature and the until early more for the mugginess to improve, but it still felt very humid. Arriving that late and just wanting to get a good nights sleep was difficult because it was too hot and the humidity caused me a lot of congestion. I would stay here for an overnight again, but never more than 1 night.

    I needed an overnight stay on short notice and this was the best value in the area that allowed pets. The staff were great and the room was clean, quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Nice shower with great water pressure. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and was on my way. A great no frills accommodation for business travelers and pet parents.

    The hotel was a nice price performer in the NE Tallahassee area. The property has been recently upgraded and was in great shape. My room up in the second floor was impeccably maintained, with dust or grime even behind furniture, it had a recent air filter and the room smelled amazing! The complimentary breakfast was not the usual discount-chain hotel junk, they had a themed, featured ‘hot meal of the day’ and a nice assortment of fruits, breads, cereals, juices and even manageable coffee. In January 2026, the hotel enjoyed a mix of longer-term business travelers and short-term business and retail travelers. Local management very accessible and helpful. The hotel is a very short walk to a Ted’s Montana Grill and an Outback Steakhouse. The property is a 2 blocks off of Interstate-10 but there is no noise. I would recommend this hotel, and I will be back again.

    It was just a fabulous stay. Property is well taken care of. We really enjoyed having dinner and drinks in the lounge. Breakfast was very good and hot. The room was so comfortable and well appointed. Will say the bathroom needs a little tlc. Note: it is located in a ravine so parking is either up hill or down hill unless ADA. We will return.

    What a terrible experience! When we opened the door to our room the smell was gagging! Smelled like old smoke, weed and something rotting. Found some used tooth glossers on the floor as well! Asked to change room but they could not accommodate as they were at capacity. Had to leave to go to a different hotel without a refund. Very disappointing experience all around.

    Room next to us had who knows how many people? Loud music swearing, arguing, yelling. Tried calling front desk call wouldn't go through? Went to desk just after 10 was told 11 is when quiet time starts? Guy said he made contact, music still going. 11:05 go to front desk room next to us a yelling, swearing, banging around mess. New guys like we can move you to another room. So the problem stays we run around with our stuff in my pajamas being inconvenienced? Now it's friggin midnight, wake up hour later heater controls don't work full heat doesn't shut off. Shut it off wake up to cold room, eerrhhh! Appears that maybe locals rent rooms to party?? 1st time here, you know what they say about 1st impressions! Oh ya idiots in room next to us i think were so f-ed up they trigged car alarm 3 times on their car? They'd get louder when alarm was blaring! Travel 10 hours for a night of garbage and pay 175 bucks for a terrible night. Ya! Thanks! I know where to rent a party suite and know i won't be told to be respectful or leave, the neighbors who are being bothered will be asked to drag everything to another room in the middle if the night!! Not happy at all, lousy night if sleep. Front desk just kind of hanging out, later night guy was better. Early guy was nonchalant about anything, just hanging for a paycheck? Said he got no call from my room i called twice it just beeped repeatedly busy? When i told him at front desk then called again after he supposedly contacted them phone work

The staff “upgraded” me to a suite for my trouble, but the heat would only go down, so I just turned it off. The weekend temps were in the 20s, but my room was fine. I told the front desk the next morning about the heat and they said they would fix it. I came back at the end of the day to a heater on full blast set at 72. They didn’t fix the issue, which was a worn out panel, they just manipulated the button until it “worked.”

    We reserved two rooms for family travel for a funeral. Hotel was older, but staff had just cleaned and they allowed us to check in early. Hotel is pet friendly, and we had to have one room changed because of the pet smell (allergies, not lack of cleaning). Definitely a no frills, low cost hotel, but it worked for us and was much more affordable than the newer hotels in the same area.

    Stayed here for the last night of our three week vacation. Bed was the most comfortable one we had. Room was nice and clean. Enjoyed having a walk-in shower. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here.

    The breakfast was Great. The staff kept the food coming so it didn't run out for people coming in at different times. I don't understand any negative on the breakfast. Our Heater was too loud for my husband, but the unit worked for what we needed for our 3 night stay. We needed both AC & heat the weather was Crazy. VERY convenient location to the hospital there for going to see our family member we were there to visit. The cleaning of the bathroom REALLY needs improvements. I had to clean the focets and the Shower floor Never gets cleaned properly. I took pictures and videos. Other than that the stay was Great. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very Quiet for our Needs. Love all the White on the bed. I do wonder how the bathrooms were for the other rooms.

    The lobby seemed nice - we didn't go into the restaurant or bar area. Breakfast offer was a little weak. The floor in the room was not level - very obvious. The tile in the bathroom floor was cracked, and there was some hair in the shower and bathroom floor that did not belong to us.     Woke up to something crawling on me. Went to bathroom to see 2. Baby German cockroaches crawling from damaged caulking around shower. Not outdoor water but roaches but the nasty indoor little ones. Didn’t want to take any home with me so Packed up to leave and go to another hotel at 5am in the morning and as I went to pack saw another crawling on the desk in the room. Took video of both instances. Waiting on a refund now.

    The hotel was nice, breakfast was decent. My only complaint is that they process the $100 deposit as an actual charge instead of a pending transaction so it takes several days to be refunded vs just falling off in a day or two after checkout. Other hotels normally just show a pending charge, there's really no reason to keep someone's money from them. That's the reason for the loss of a star.

    We were satisfied with our stay however when we returned home I realized my ring box was missing which we believe possibly fell out of the bag and accidentally left behind. But we’ve called multiple times and told they’d check back after speaking to everyone and not just those on shift the 2 times we called but we still haven’t heard anything. I was truly hoping for some sort of feedback and confirmation they checked everything seeing that it was a very pricey wedding set plus a family heirloom ring As well. I guess we will keep looking and hoping for a miracle.

    The hotel was ok. Our bathroom door needs repair as it was really hard to close and the shower floor was stained so dingy-looking if that kind of thing bothers you. The hotel is non-smoking but there was a vague old cigarette smoke smell in room and halls, although I am pretty sensitive to smells. Breakfast was fine and the hotel is in a quiet, convenient location.

    Once we were in the room, it was comfortable and clean; no complaints about the room except that it wasn't the suite we paid for. The breakfast was good although there wasn't a ton of selection.     The musty smell across the entire complex is unforgiving. I only stayed one night. Had I needed more than one night I would've moved hotels. The smell feels unsafe to breathe in my opinion.     The first room we got the shower was not cleaned. There was pink hair dye and hair all over the shower. We asked for a different room. Once in the new room the shower was clean up there was a razor laying on the floor in the bedroom which showed that room wasn’t cleaned either. We ended up just checking out and finding another hotel. The front desk staff was great to deal with.

    The only positive to this place is the front desk staff are very nice. The hallways all smell terrible, like mold/mildew and pet urine. They attempt to cover this up with awful air fresheners and it does not work. The rooms are also extremely poorly ventilated so there is visible mold in the bathroom, all the metal on fixtures are rusting and the nails in the ceiling show rust spots all over the ceiling. The rooms smell so bad or mold/mildew that it is hard to fall asleep because it’s so strong.

    Bad: Hard water buildup on bathroom faucet and in shower made it feel less than clean. The application of caulking in shower rather than replacement of surround, and miscelanous scuffs on walls made it feel rundown. Bathroom sink needed a round of drain cleaner. Extremely slow. Stain or dirt on sheer curtain in window reinforced impressions bathroom gave. Breakfast not served on time. Did not meet my expectations of a Wyndham franchise.

    I left a poor review last month about the poor condition of the hotel. Last weekend, we decided to give them another shot. I was extremely impressed this stay, and the staff has made big changes.     Third time I’ve stayed here, gets a little worse each time. The hotel reeks of cheap air freshener, had to take a cold shower one day because there was no hot water, our sheets had brown stains on them, and the breakfast food was subpar even by hotel standards. I used to really like coming here, but we won’t be back. Sad that Wyndham would associate its name with this place.

    The lobby and outside is very nice. Our floor had a terrible musty smell. Our room was horrible. Dirty (socks were dirty from the dirty carpet). Cracks all over the shower grout, and smelly. Bathroom floor was dirty. Towel bar fell off the wall, was obviously repaired at one time, but inadequately. The stucco was missing around the window, and cracked. Just very disappointing for the price we paid. We were in town only one night for a family funeral.

    The shower faucet room did not work. The maintenance guy was very helpful and came in to replace the shower head. The ceilings had chipping paint which indicated moisture or water damage. The room and had a very strong odor. Lastly, the room was infested with roaches. The roaches had no regards to life and lights. I packed my things and headed on my way.

    I usually tend to ignore some bad ratings and chalk them up to people having a bad day. In this case I should've paid attention to them and so should you. This hotel smelled awful throughout!     We stayed for 2 nights and asked to move rooms upon arrival. The property smells of mold/mildew and the air is clammy and damp. There are dehumidifiers added to the lobby areas. It’s pretty pungent, but we had to keep the air conditioning on constantly to help with the smell.

    It took four tries to find a room that didn’t smell like mold. The fourth one didn’t even have the a/c accessible to use. Every floor has multiple humidifiers attempting to cover up the mold. I was trying to get a few hours of sleep after driving 15 hours, otherwise I would have switched hotels. If the 4th room hadn’t been ok, I was going to sleep in my car. Someone from the hotel called after I left (and requested a phone call) the only thing they had to say was “they are working on the issue”. They need to shut down and fix it not cover up with humidifiers, sprays, and candles. The front desk staff was amazing, though. Very friendly staff, absolutely horrible mold situation going on.

    Hotel provided the incorrect room based on my reservation and since they were at capacity was unable to accommodate. I have tried to get a full refund due to this and several issues during my stay, including finding an earring in the bed upon arrival and toothpaste and hair in the bathroom.     We stayed in room 113 and on the other side of the wall is the landry room of the hotel. The washers and dryers were running all night and it was so loud in the room that it was impossible to sleep. We requested another room which was denied. After a sleepless night we talked to the front desk and the manager and were offered a $15 gift card as a compensation for the sleepless night’s inconvenience which we denied. If you feel the need to stay in this hotel make sure you don’t get the room 113 !

    Like a bonafide TRYP Hotel. We checked in and checked right out because of the air quality in hotel along with mold in bathroom. In addition, there were various dehumidifiers all over the hotel and it seemed gloomy. The front attendant did not want to give us a refund.     The entry and lobby were nice. Staff was average. Several unrelated guests were getting refunds because their rooms were unacceptable. Our room was tolerable. It was late and hotels were full because of parents weekend and a football game.so we didn't want to search for another hotel. The furniture was dirty and worn. The bathroom was bad. Big moldy cracks in the shower tile. Mildew in the entire bathroom and the door was rotting. Definitely not worth the price. Wouldn't recommend.

    This is the problem. It was a huge problem. The hotel did not have warm or hot water in the shower so I had to leave my hotel and find a place to shower. The most uncomfortable stay ever. The staff was nice, and the rooms were clean. But honestly they should have refunded everyone for that stay.

    When I reserved the room I requested for a handicap accessible room. When i checked in one wasnt available. My husbands walker would not go thru the bathroom door. We were stuck because it was college football night. So wr used a urinal for my husband. The room itself was fine. Clean. Bed comfortable. Ive learned now to always call the hotel to make sure tne room is what we require.

    My room was awful rusted faucets, corroded shower head, dirty shower floor, looked like human matter on the headboard, dirty sheets, no drain cover for sink, dog poop in all grass spots, no parking because of transportation vehicles taking up multiple spaces. All night people going in and out so you can't sleep peacefully. We drove all the way from Atlanta Sat at our son's game 34 minutes away by 11pm all you want is a clean room to shower and sleep...not here. They have the nerve to hold 100 for deposits for incidentals...how about taking care of the property and may do an inspection before you give room. Oh and the a/c barely worked. It was old and rusted too. People were parked there smoking weed and then left. Poop from multiple dogs in the grass.

    This hotel was a big disappointment. The room had a strong pet and mildew smell that made it very unpleasant. There was no parking available, the air conditioner didn’t work properly, and I was woken up early by loud people in the hall. The remote holder and towel bar completely disconnected from the wall. There’s terrible patchwork. Overall, the experience was not a comfortable or restful stay. The only thing we liked was the comfort of the bed.

    The people were nice, but the hotel itself was not the best. The room was very humid and had a moldy scent. Not saying there was, but it had the smell. Someone kept trying to enter the room three times at night. I know this because the door was beeping multiple times while I was in it. I didn’t like the inconvenience of not having a mini fridge. I called the front desk upon my arrival and they said I needed to request one. I didn’t know that was an option. The windows have a thing curtain that can be seen through so I didn’t feel like I had privacy. The window unit AC was blowing the curtain. The bed was comfy.

    We have stayed at this hotel many, many times over the past few football seasons. We have LOVED this hotel- the rooms are spacious, different room options and the BEST beds. This year although, the condition of the hotel has gone significantly downhill. The entire hotel (including the rooms, lobby and common areas) is very humid and smells like mold. Management has dehumidifiers everywhere, so it’s clear they are aware of the moisture problem. Overall, the room was dirty, sofas and chairs very stained and worn, carpet is dirty and “gummy”. We were very sad and disappointed to see our favorite “home away from home” become so worn down and maintenance deferred. The bed was comfortable though!

    When we got to the room it was a bit a shambled. The corners had mold and light switches we caked with dirt. The carpets were stained and obviously not cleaned or replaced from a former guest with a larger dog. There were places where the carpet was shredded, doors scratched, and chewed on. The room reeked of musty oder and the air conditioner made so much rattle we could hear each other. I went to front desk and let Kinisha know because I didnt want my dog blamed. She kind of shirked me off and said she would let maintenance know the next day. I then I asked to be moved. Kinisha said there were no rooms available. She then asked if I used the bathroom she could not change the the room. I assured we had not used the bathroom and wanted to change to a different room. She made a couple snarky of under her breath loud enough for me to hear her. "You know you can get your money and find a different place. I said no that we drove 8 hours and want to relax. I finally got husband and she found an empty room.. right across the hall. She earlier said there were no more rooms. The new room was better, cleaner, however, the air conditioner made noise all night. The air felt wet and the sheets were damp. Breakfast was ok

    This property was an okay place to stay for a quick trip but it definitely could use some upgrades and better cleanliness standards. The bathroom felt dirty, the carpets in the room felt damp and one of the first rooms we got had the beds unmade and trash leftover from previous guests. I highly recommend bettering the cleaning and making some upgrades to make the hotel feel more comfortable for guests.

    It was ok but for what I paid I’d expect it to be a little better. Room was more pleasant than hallways. There was a dead insect on the window but didn’t see anything else. I understand tons of people are in and out and it’s hot out. Internet was out for about 2days. I wouldn’t stay there again for the price that I paid. Possibly as a last resort or if it’s cheaper.

    I usually always pick this hotel for a quick stay but this time was different . Upon arrival I inspected the bathroom and hair was on the floor, towels had stains as if someone dropped something on them and housekeeping just folded them back up and left them in the bathroom. No Mirror in the room just a empty spot with nails in the wall. Vent in bath room didn't work , shower was disgusting !!!

    The air conditioner dripped all night, there was a garbage can underneath to catch the drips, so they obviously knew about the problem. The carpet was damp, we had to get towels from the front desk to cover the carpet so our feet wouldn't get wet.

    The complimentary breakfast buffet was much nicer than I expected. The manager for that area was extremely friendly and helpful. Front desk staff also very friendly and happy to answer questions about the area. We only stayed one night this trip, but will certainly return to this hotel the next time.

    Also for the check in process, I do understand that there is a check in time of 3pm. Me and my husband arrived at the hotel about 2:20pm and we asked if we could check in. We weee told that we would have to pay an extra $30. We were okay with this however, there needs to be consistency with the hotel check in process as my husband stayed at the same hotel about 2 weeks ago and he was able to check in before 2:30pm.

    This used to be one of the hidden gems of Tallahassee hotels. I was very disappointed this visit. While the check in staff was very friendly the room left a lot to be desired. The coffee pot was missing pieces to work. The smell of marijuana hit me in the face when I walked and my clothes smelled like it when I left. It was very noisy above me. The sheets were dingy and shower wasn’t clean. Though I was told breakfast was from 7-10, there was no breakfast and only signs on the doors that said it was closed due to shortage of staff. Sad. I understand that the whole country is struggling right now, though.

    Caution: mold and damp. It appears that this property has been affected by some sort of water damage or moisture. The first room I was given was extremely musty and I discovered there was black and green mold on the bathroom ceiling. I requested another room and was moved to another floor in a different location. This room was not quite as musty smelling; however, there was still small spots of mold on the bathroom ceiling. The floor to the room was uneven and there was a large dip (hole) about a foot wide under the carpeting in one area, very peculiar and big tripping hazard.

    Staff was kind. I was frustrated that there was no baggage carts available upon check in. Also, the parking situation can be quite difficult at times. You have to park on the shoulders and even on the curb of the entrance. More parking spots are definitely needed. Also, we were given a handicap room even though we didn't request one. Thankfully, we did receive a credit for that error. Breakfast was decent and the lobby area was nice and inviting. The hotel is also well located around restaurants and a main road.

    We were only booked for one night so our stay was very short. Staff was friendly and main areas of hotel look nice as well as the room, like the pictures online. But the hotel in all the main areas smelled obviously musty like mildew or mold is growing. Although our room did not smell that way. While getting ready for bed, in the bathroom a german roach crawled up the wall. So I grabbed some toilet paper to catch it and flushed it down the toilet. I didn't see any more of them in our room or bathroom. I wish I could stay here again based on what the hotel looked like in the pictures and because the staff was friendly and helpful. But, because of the musty mildew smell in all the main areas and the roach, I will not stay here again. I am concerned about the health of the staff who work there with the musty mildew/mold smell which will cause them health problems.
