the property was affordable and it was a place to stay. we booked an early check in for 11am and the room was not ready when we checked in at 1pm. we had to wait for the room to be cleaned when we arrived. when we finally got into the room we found out that the room didnt have any hot water and the towels and washcloths had dirt and grime on them. i asked for a refund but the clerk said she couldnt issue one because we had past the 20 minute window for them to issue a refund, but we had to wait over 20 minutes to even access our room. so she gave us an upgraded room on the top floor which i appreciated. however i would have rather gotten a refund and different room elsewhere. was near the I 10 and kind of sketchy.

No breakfast just coffeem roaches found in our room. The people next door had a dog barking all night. Pool wasn't open. And the whole property smelt like weed.

Didn't have any of the amenities they stated no kitchen, no breakfast, place looked like trash. Pool was unusable looked like clear slime in the pool as the water. And they refuse to give me my deposit!! claiming property damage but we kept the room decent just some ashes in a smoking room with no ash tray we didn't break or damage anything but claim we did. Also tried to get cash out of me. We had an upstairs at first but a/c wasn't working took an hr for someone to come look at it over 2 hrs to get a different room (started vomiting from the heat)! I do not believe I'm the only one they stole the deposit from bc a guest was discussing that when I checked in hers was 50 but my deposit was 100. This place reeks of scams!

Past disgusting! No breakfast, room was dirty, no linens on the bed or towels! Put in another room and noted bedbugs on mattress protector. Carpets need removing;(..,This is mainly a tent by month type of hotel. Shady

The check in was the best part. The lady at the front desk was super. The room was not clean and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. In addition to paying the room in advance I paid a 100 deposit which was way more than anything of value in the room. I would never consider staying at this location again.

I’ve gotten in contact with the property and they issued a refund, but now it’s up to Expedia to actually return the money. Still waiting to see how that gets resolved.

The room was in disrepair. The floor was dirty and sticky. On entrance is saw cockroaches. The ac did work and the bed was clean. It was 1am when arrived otherwise I would left and found a different place to sleep.

it is a kitchen net. It is not a full-size kitchen. It does have a small coffee maker, but the kitchen is not fully equipped. You have to bring your own stuff.

Would never stay here again. A full breakfast was advertised, which is one of the reasons we booked, but all that was available was coffee and hot water and only at certain times of the day. No coffee maker in the rooms. We had 2 towels and one wash cloth for the 2 of us. No bath mat. Asked for a hand towel and were offered another 2 washcolthes. There was mold above the shower. Dirty and run down premises. The bed was very old and covered with only a sheet and a thin nylon coverlet. Got cold during the night. Took 15 minutes to get hot water in the bathroom. It was quiet and we did feel safe, but those are the only good things I can say about our experience.

Blood on the sheets was a clear indicator that the room hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long. We ended up leaving and getting a room somewhere else. Completely disgusting!

Impressive place considering the price too. Staff was helpful when I needed to switch rooms after booking a smoking room and not realizing it could smell very bad in there. Moved to non-smoking room and it was much better. Would return/recommend

We left, was there 2 hours. Heavy police amd fire department activity. The room smelled like smoke. There was no shower curtin and the other guests were highly suspect. We asked for a refund and was denied. The pictures are very outdated to say the least.

I had a meeting so I couldn’t stop at the front desk to complain. Went back later that day to talk to the woman at the front desk, she stated she will get an exterminator Jose to come spray the room, but then it’s like I’m not staying in a room after you sprayed so I check out and I lost my money.

There is no breakfast, and no coffee in the rooms. No hot water for the showers, or soap if you forgot yours. There was a cockroach on the wall when we walked in the room. The sink in the bathroom was moldy, there a pubic hair on the shower wall. There was a cigarette burn in the sheets on one of the beds. The police showed up twice while we were there and all night other guests were screaming and stomping.

Older refurbished hotel with unkempt exterior, but the room was awesome. Clean, large, comfortable beds. Tub and shower could use some TLC but worked well. For the price in Tallahassee for game time it was great

We stayed a single night as we arrived too late to make other arrangements and were unaware of most of the deficiencies until the morning. After discovering we only had cold water in the shower, the shower head exploded off the wall, entirely flooding the bathroom. As we made our way to the front desk we became aware of the condition of the place. The property was overgrown and untended. The facilities were in a sad state of disrepair and numerous half-completed repairs had been obviously abandoned. One of the concrete benches in the "courtyard" was actually missing an entire leg, just waiting for some unexpecting guest (who didn't mind getting filthy on a moss covered bench) to sit and tumble a heavy concrete bench directly onto the ragged brick patio. It wasn't just disappointing, it was hazardous. The only bright spot was the day receptionist who happily cancelled the rest of our reservation, stating "she has told the owners about the probs many times" and Expedia's prompt refund for the nights we cancelled. Just don't go.

Room was advertised to have kitchen….Where sink was suppose to be was empty spot. Hot water barely worked. Was told at front desk to let water run for 5 minutes before temp of water would change. Ice Machine was dirty and look liked it hadn’t been sanitized and cleaned in years!!!! Very disappointed. I’ve should received some sort of discount or a free night in future.

Didn’t even wind up staying at the hotel

Towels and pillows sub-par. No shelves in small shower for soap, shampoo etc. No ironing board. Coffee maker still had water in it which means it was NOT cleaned out. Floor was filthy - clearly not mopped before occupancy. No real furniture in common area except a small couch. Needed coffee table, cushioned chairs. A/C on balcony leaked water. Property overall was a mess. Visible repairs needed on roof, gutter, fountains without water and empty pool. Overgrown courtyard and very unsightly. Upstairs/loft AC unit blows directly onto bed occupant from barely 2 feet away. No luggage rack.

Upon arrival, three desk staff all sitting on their phones. The suite was huge, but very little worked. Two electrical outlets did not work and there were only 4 in the suite. Missing carpet in places on stairs, found one bug on floor, the remote did not have batteries, the kitchen sink did not work at all, the coffee machine was broken..... the worst was the two air conditioning units did not work. Slept the first night in humidity and heat..... towels would not dry, etc. Complained and they came in and fixed one but couldn't fix the other. Second night ended up with decent temp.

Booked 2 rooms for 2 people, had to be moved from one because of ~15 dead roaches found upon entering the first time, so they didn't clean the rooms before our stay. No hot water, the sink in my room wasn't hooked up, woke up to roaches and crickets in my room the second day, my room also smelled like mildew and the floor was sticky. Looks like they're trying to renovate so maybe it'll be better in the future.

Staff was nice but the hotel was run down, pool closed down which was not disclosed. Non working fountains which is a health hazard, non working ice machines and grounds overgrown like an abandoned house. We should get a refund, not worth 250 a night!

This motel is more for the local ppl and not travel. The room look like they in the middle of remodeling some stuff work some stuff don’t. They was a old white homeless man with a husky and as I was leaving out my kids room to go back to mines he tried to sick the dog on me I was terrified the roaches are bad but you see one every once in a while

And let’s not forget that the room was around $100 USD a night, but the. You have to give a deposit that’s $100 as well, that should be listed on the hotels website.

Clean enough for guy to stay a night or 2. Definitely wouldn't feel comfortable with the family. Property could use a little updating.

The hotel facilities are very poorly maintained. The rooms are uncomfortable because they smell damp, and the hallways are very dirty. It's a budget hotel compared to others, but the interior of the rooms is very poor; everything is poorly maintained and unmaintained. I don't recommend it to anyone, nor would I recommend it as an alternative.

Check in took forever, it was as if they were illiterate. Room was dirty and smelled terrible. The lights did not work as there were no outlets to plug them in with. Room had German roaches, I checked out immediately. The entire place needs to be shut down, fumigation and remodeled. Then, staffed with competent and efficient personnel. DO NOT STAY HERE. RUN.

Property has office chair outside drying out from the moisture in the rooms, If you’re on the second floor your ceiling will possibly leak. Be ready for the power outage. Takes them forever to find the breaker box.

There wasn't much of the property, alot of people looked as though they're working but nothing taking place, you het NO ROOM SERVICE, bring your own Towels. Check for lizards and bugs. Why the property takes the covers off the AC units I will never understand. And for the extended stays. Keep your windows up there is a MOLD PROBLEM. Ihave the pics to prove it..

When looking at pictures, this property looked decent. When arriving it was clearly a carefully selected group of photos not showing some of the building in rough shape, some rooms had holes in it from where the ACs used to be, and the sketchiness of the area between random people just standing around with bottles of beer in hand. Just felt unsafe the night we were there and found a bug crawling around in the room, but that wasn’t an issue for us as it may be for someone else. Read reviews before booking at places.

This was a last-minute booking because Hurricane Milton was scheduled to hit home on the day we had planned to return. This hotel's only good point is its easy access to I-10. The bedside lamps had been removed, the only room light was dim, the pool was closed, the bathroom faucet could not be fully turned off, the TV had only a few channels operating. This might have been a nice hotel many years ago, but no longer. Glad we needed to stay only one night.

This was the worst hotel i think i have EVER been to. We didn't get the room i requested so we were put in a room that was being worked on. You couldn't use the toilet upstairs or the shower downstairs. There was nothing in the room. A bed upstairs and a couch downstairs and 1 small t.v. Horrible place and I will never stay there again

The room was disgusting and had just been remodeled!!! We were in a “suite” that had a living room downstairs and then a loft upstairs with the bed. Hot water didn’t work the second night/next morning we were there. There was no kitchen type things or even a fridge and the furniture was spare at best. The lighting upstairs was just one big light. No lamps or smaller lights by the bed. And the kicker is I paid $350 per night for this garbage!!!!!

this all fall as our game date neared. Upon arrival I learned that the property had changed hands and all reservations made far in advance were lost. After some confusion and negotiation we settled on one large suite for all four of us. Turned out to be the perfect solution. The large open two story suite was ideal for our needs. Despite some negative reviews, we took a chance and it worked out very well. The property is dated and what I call tired looking, but it also has a quaint feel. Having traveled for work as many as four nights a week for years, you start to get a feel for different hotels. Bottom line....two things count.....CLEAN and NO BUGS This place passed on both counts.

The hotel claimed that ownership had changed since my reservations were made and that all prior reservations had been wiped out of the system. They said Expedia had made an error in the price of the rooms and that although I had my confirmation they could not honor the price. The rooms were now 100% more than the reserved price.They also said that I should have realize that the price was way too low seeing as it was Parents Weekend as Florida State University and that hotel rooms were at a premium. We had originally reserved two rooms because my mom was travelling with us, but took one room with 2 double beds.As soon as the door opened you could smell the mustiness and although it was 11:30 at night we left the door open for a while. The windows could not be opened. The beds looked clean and we were tired after our eight hour drive so we decided to shower and deal with the rest in the morning. But we could not take a shower because the tub was filthy and rusty; the bathroom floor was dirty and the cover to the toilet tank broken and no hot water. We washed our faces and used wipes to clean up as best we could and went to bed. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The next morning we tried finding rooms somewhere else but was not successful. We went and asked for a new room on the first floor because there are no elevators and my mom had trouble navigating the steps. The new room had a cleaner tub but and slightly cleaner floors but faulty electrical.

When we arrived at the hotel new owners had purchased it and lost our reservation. They got us a room but I had to wait at the desk while they contacted Orbitz... kinda a pain after a long day of travel. They werte very nice and planning to fix up the hotel. The space is pretty and a good location. The room was just out of date and smelled and felt damp and moist. I think they are planning to reno for future.

Room smelled musty and sheets had stains. There was still garbage in the room stuffed into the wall lights. No clock on the night stand. Only one towel in the room. Air conditioning didn't really get the room cold. Room was dirt cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Shower sucks

King Suite has outdated decor, old worn out carpeting, and musty smell. The downstairs toilet had issues flushing properly each time it was used. The shower had temperature fluctuations going hot-cold during the morning shower! I will not be back to this no-tell motel.

The experience was horrible, the room was filthy the bathtub was stained with dirt rings and hadn't been cleaned nor sterilized and the walls were very filthy and stained along with the mattresses! The cable only showed 4 channels. Definitely did not get my money's worth. I kept calling the front desk to complain about the status of the filthy rooms, but all the representative did was just blew me off and suggested I called back the next day to speak to management.

Under new management and new manager is making huge gains in renovation. Rooms need a littlework, but exterior especially pool area are very pleasant.

They never told us about painting the floor outside our room and went to leave to have fun on Saturday to find that we were trapped in our room until 4 pm. Went to complain and the idiot guy behind the desk did not even apologize. Room service is non existent and all of them have a bad attitude like you are asking them to do something out of the ordinary to clean the room and give you new towels. What hotel paints the ground around their pool on a Saturday? This one did and I can only think they do not care at all about their guest. Never again. Free breakfast was a joke.

I wouldn't recommend

When we checked in it was midnight and we were upgraded to a suite because they had over booked the 2 double bedrooms. This was nice since we were traveling with our 24 year old son. He took the bed upstairs and we were downstairs. We did not have to worry about disturbing each other. There was a complimentary breakfast of coffee, juice and donuts or dainishes and yogurts.

No breakfast service,bar/lounge shut, room dilapidated, stained bedding, toilet systern had wooden board on top, stained toilet seat, cracked and marked bathroom mirror, bathroom light shade full of dirt. Very noisy room, door had gap down side and bottom you could see daylight through. Towel was ripped. Hotel was lovely from outside, nice foyer but the room given to us was very poor. Website offers breakfast service but we were told on check in no breakfast was available only coffee. Good location with lots of restaurants in walking distance. Stay in this area but chose a different hotel this one is awful. On arrival there were piles of dirty laundry in the car park, along with old furniture and mattresses stacked up, looked horrible!

After driving 1000 miles I checked in. The first room I was given the electronic keys didn't work requiring three trips to the front desk carrying my luggage. I was assigned an "upgrade" on the other side of the property requiring reloading my luggage and driving to the other side of the hotel. The room was awful. I lived in India for two years and stayed in some third-world hell holes and this place would fit right in. Nasty carpet, stained tub, roaches, filth, you name it. If I hadn't just been driving 17 hours I would have stayed somewhere else. I'm a vet and a retired cop, so I'm not squeamish, but this place was bad enough to make my skin crawl.

Had to be moved to another room. First room had a musty smell and someone kept trying to get in the door and the conjoining room door. Second room much better. A little noise but it didn't last long. Cheap price so I would stay again.

Hotel was not within normal Travelodge standards in my opinion. Room was very musty/dirty smelling and bedding was old and worn. Standards not kept up in rooms. Property outside was decent. The lobby had soft drinks and other non carbonated beverages available for sale for cash only and the only ATM charged a high fee. I would not stay here again not would I recommend. As a Wyndhan Rewards member I was very dissatisfied.

This hotel has major maintenance issues. Door safety lock broken, horrible paint job or needs paint, cigarette burns in the draperies, stains on the desk chair, stains on the bedspread, mildew in the shower, no nightstands by bed, carpet base falling off and doesn't match carpet, hairdryer doesn't work, window won't open, no blanket on bed. Luckily I had a blanket in my car. I didn't want to touch the bedspread!

Terrible the sheets were ripped. The room smelled old and the tub and carpet were dirty. The didn't have do not disturb sign and woke me up and never came back to clean. I called for them to clean they never came. I ran out of toilet paper. The tub was disgusting. It's a pig sty.

Toilet tank cover was a piece of sheetrock. Wall in bathroom completely covered in mold. toilet bowl was already used not cleaned. TV top of the line in 1982. Luckily the extension cord provided from outside did not work.

Also left a small suitcase. Housekeeping handed it in and we collected it the following day no hassel at all. Stayed 2 days and really enjoyed it.

I just love the place wouldnt go to another Motel to stay.Very friendly people.

There are many negative things to say about this hotel but with that said I would stay at this hotel again so the positives out way the negatives. The value is great for what we spent on this hotel. We did have to switch rooms a few times but once we found THE room our stay was excellent. Hotel staff is kind and courteous. All and all great place to stay!! Not for "FANCY" people of course but for us was just right.

When I arrived I thought it looked like a pretty nice hotel. The lobby and outside weren't bad. Then I got the room and when I drove all the way to the back room 123 I thought it was abandoned. Some of the windows had boards across them and there were a lot of debris on the outside. I said well maybe they are upgrading the rooms, WRONG! I was given a smoking room. I don't smoke but hey whatever. The room smelt like it was moldy. I again thought maybe it needs to be aired out. The wash cloths were supposed to be white and were supposed to be white. The shower curtain had what appeared to be blood stains, rather it was idk. The walls still has asked where someone laid in bed and put their cigarette out on the wall and it wasn't cleaned off. The pain was peeling off of the wall. The pillows were flat which wasn't that bad but it needed to probably be throw away. The cleaning man showed up and I was taking a shower I asked for more towels and he said he would come back. I guess he didn't have time which is understandable. I went to ask for some bags and stuff to do it myself and asked could I change rooms. They didn't have anything available. Fine. The cleaning guy came to my room to give me a clean shower curtain and to confront me for telling on him. He tried to go back and forth with me on why I told on him. I told him I wasn't going to go back and forth with him. This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Turn away

Overall nice hotel. The rooms were as clean as expected. There were stains in the carpet that coulf have been addressed but did not affect anything other than initial presentation.

The room was not clean. Bedding had numerous cigerette burns on it. Microwave plate was too big so i couldnt close rhe doir. Refrigerator had mildew due to the fact it wasnt working. The bathroon was filthy. I had to buy cleaning products to clean it. The washcloths were stained. The only reason i didnt leave is because every other hotel was booked. I only paid $58 well $78 due to having a dog and it wasnt worth that. It was horrible

Roaches. Mucky feeling when I entered the room. Worst hotel stay of my life. I have pictures if anyone cares to see them.

It was one of the worst hotels I ever stayed at. The room had a very bad smell, the remote, microwave or the mini fridge didn't work. The bathroom walls was dirty. I will not be returning to this motel again.

I booked a double bed queen only got a twin size bed the bathroom was hideous the tile was cracked on the floor the walk in standup shower was dirty had bugs on the outside of the shower the telephone didn't work and then they move me to a second one which was for double beds which was an extra $20 The hot water work for the cold water in the cold water work for the hot water the dresser drawer hand writing in it like some kids had demonstrate we only got a couple of channels on the TV and the sheets were dirty they could really stand for a remodel for the price that they are advertising it's not worth $56 a night

I needed a cheap room in that location. Upon inserting the keycard, I found the door hard to open. It stuck and I had to really push it open. When I tried to leave the room, the door would not open. I called the front desk twice, but they could'nt hear me and hung up. At this point, I was a bit amused and then got worried that I could never leave. The window opened, but I was on the second floor and not keen on scaling down the wall. Finally, I jerked the door open. A screw had come loose and jammed in the metal latch mechanism. Once outside, there was not getting it open again to fix it. While waiting on maintenance, the nice owners allowed me to sit in their apartment. Then I got a different room. But, that room smelled really musty and smokey and I asked to stay in original room once the door was fixed. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room and didn't smell as bad as the other. Although, later I noticed the smoke detector was missing. I found it in a drawer. So, I suspect a person of low quality (a.k.a. smoker) removed it so he/she could stink up the room. I replaced the smoke detector and it worked. The shower fluctuates between hot and cold no matter where it is set. So, you have to dart in and out as the temp. changes.

Wifi was inconsistent at best. Pretty much wireless dialup if that's even possible. Bed was horrific. Pillow was basically a gauze pad wrapped in a pillowcase. Staff were amazing room was clean and quiet. Not bad for 38$

No coffee facility in room, dirtiest bath i have ever seen. You get what you pay for i guess.
