This is a very basic hotel, it's good for a quick stay or as an operating basis to get things done and return to it to shower and sleep. The room was clean and everything was in working condition. There is ample parking space. Front desk was deserted each time we went there, whether it was to check in, ask questions or check out. There were only two big towels for showering and only one plastic cup to drink water or something else. No coffee machine was available.

What a gem! The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. Everything worked really well, and the room layout was nice and spacious. I can't believe how nice this hotel is for such a great price. The staff were all so sweet and helpful, too. Nothing! This place was lovely. I stayed here while my house is being renovated, but after seeing how clean and comfortable the rooms are for such a great price, I think I'll be back for an in-town "staycation" when I need a change of pace. You won't find a nicer place for this price.

we love that location and the rooms were very clean first, we were at a ball game and they were calling to see if they could get rid of our room. then when we booked the room, it said that military discount had to be applied at the counter. then when we got there, they said that we were supposed to do it online and wouldn’t let us have the discount. then in the middle of the night, the floor got wet from the toilet leaking on the floor. and it smelled like pee real bad. we used our towels, so I asked for more towels, and when the guy delivered the towels, he just walked right in our room while we were still in the bed.

ROACHES AND NO HOT WATER. NOT EVEN WARM. Its also smells like roach spray from a pest control company.

The location was close to interstate. The staff was very sketchy. I had to contact booking.com to make them stop trying to charge my card for a prepaid room ; do not give them your major credit card for deposit ,they will run it for the entire amount if even your already paid . I had 2 first face towels left behind from previous stay and the staff wasn’t available at the front desk .

I stay here about once a month, usually alone. I feel safe and comfortable. There’s no water in the pool but honestly I don’t really have time for a swim. But I keep coming back!!

I was traveling alone so only got one key card when I checked in and I left it in the key drop box when I left. But even if I had not returned a key card, in the hotel business where reviews are crucial why would you give customer's a reason to leave a bad review for the sake of 75 cents? That is very "bad business" and I'm sure Red Roof corporate won't be happy.

The rooms have been updated with paint and newer furniture. The tub and sink drained very slowly. It was an adequate room for a short stay. We appreciated the absence of carpeting.

The was no internet and the pool was closed, even though I had confirmed otherwise when I booked. When confronted by my disabled 72yr old wife, the front desk person named Robert complained about the staff member who had booked us, saying she didn't know anything. Then, when we expressed displeasure, actually trespassed us and called the police, and we were evicted from our room. We had driven 6 hours heading back to Tampa where our house had gotten flooded from the hurricane and needed the internet to book another room. Didn't matter. They evicted my wife of 50yrs and myself anyway. We have never been treated with such disrespect at a hotel anywhere in the world. I should have known, the place was a bad as all the reviews. AVOID!

The staff was very helpful during this hurricane evacuation. Called me to see if i wanted to stay an extra night because many of the evacuees were staying and the hotel was booked. Gave me the chance first before booking my room. Very pet friendly. No questions about the dogs. Just have a nice stay. Rooms were very clean. Can not ask for better.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was stocked well with washcloths and towels, and the front desk staff was very polite and professional. My only complaint was a 75 cent room key charge, which evidently is standard even if you turn in your room key. Seems kind of silly.

The room was run down and pretty trashy overall. Plugs everywhere, old tv, rusty fixtures in the bathroom, peeling paint and hardware. Wasn't cleaned deeply. Fingerprints on table and tv stand. The area is okay but there is no view and the clientele of the hotel was entirely trashy people. Half a dozen suspect looking people standing outside their room smoking at almost any given time. Very uncomfortable for a family to stay here. Will never do it again.

The towels had stains, as well as the bedding. The headboard had hand prints. The bathroom was stinky.

Great one night stay over. Clean room with good lighting and desk with chair. A/C worked great in room 121.:Cyrus at front desk makes the best coffee in the early morning.

I liked that the room was inexpensive and clean. The layout was good with sink outside of bathroom and adequate space to get around the 2 beds. It had a microwave and a mini frig, plus an inroom coffeemaker. I was disappointed that the tub had a chip the size and length of 2 fingers and the exhaust fan was ineffective. The bath towels we received were floor towels with stains, not full size towels. The TV worked fine but we would have liked a guide to know what is on each channel. We got a shampoo and 2 bars of soap but no cream rinse or lotion. The handrail on the outside stairs was loose at the ground level and needs repair.

Put my mom up here for two nights due to electricity loss from the tornadoes. It was comfortable enough for her and there's a Waffle House next door for breakfast. She was happy with the beds and television. I'm docking just one star because she reported a roach in the bathroom, which I find terrifying.

The property was old, outdated and very over priced. We paid $450 a night and didn’t even feel comfortable enough to take a shower in the room. We stayed for 8 hours then had to leave.

My stay was good. For the money the place was very comfortable and clean.

The first room I got was very bad in smelling, apparently having water leak and mold with an extra dehumidifier provided. I asked for another room. At 8am, someone unlocked my front door, and only my door latch, which I carefully turned on, can keep him not entering my room. I called the front desk and was told someone dropped a key of my room, and they tried to come to clean. I immediately checked out, showing the front desk gen that I have all my two keys, not lost any one. How come there is another key of my room floating around? This is not a good situation, and the hotel has placed travelers like me at serious risk. I think I will not come back.

Worst part was the price. Our room was over $400 for one night and when checking in the desk clerk said they normally charge $80-100 per night so they are literally charging 400-500% of their normal rate. I understand this was college graduation weekend and completely understood raising rates 200-250% for the demand however 400-500% is gauging. This would not be allowed if hurricane pricing. The place is a sh*thole and they charge more than a Ritz, it's just wrong.

Booked for three nights, checked out after one night, rather forfeit the money than stay.

This place has cleaned up from the prior chain that ran it. It was quiet, but then again there were very few cars in the lot.

We were greeted by a dead roach by the stick lamp as we entered the room. The bath towels were ridiculously thin. The bath mat was 1/3 missing. I t should have been discarded last year. The bath tub drain was slow to drain the shower water. Water collected at the bottom of the tub. We would not return to this location.

I booked it because it was convenient or so I thought. I the room was nasty. The floor was dirty. The sheets had stains in them. We didn’t even stay the second night. I booked a different hotel somewhere else. Didn’t feel safe. Just not worth the money. Don’t recommend.

It’s a nice place, especially for the price. It’s on the older side but looks clean. Convent location and the restaurant next door looks really good. I will definitely be booking this place again

The clerk asigned me to a room that was already taken and it was after midnight. It was a pain for me and the woman and dog I tried to enter the room with the assigned key card.
