Skimpy breakfast ... otherwise great stay

Room was mostly clean and property seemed to be maintained. Not sure if it was humidity related but everything kinda felt wet. Property did feel very safe, it was well lit and you had to use a key to even get into the building as well as your room. Location was great for me and is great if you are visiting any of the nearby medical facilities. Breakfast was kind of disappointing. A lot of hotels have pancakes / waffles and usually a buffet style option with eggs, meats, potatoes that rotate. Every morning at this location it was hard boiled eggs, cheese slices, and some bagels.

The location was great, the staff was very nice and professional. The bed, pillows, linens and towels were not comfortable and need to be replaced with new ones, they showed signs of wear and were dingy. The carpet throughout needed to be replaced with laminated wood or tile.

Everything!!! From the front desk personnel, to the Maintenance Department, to the spotless, spa ious suite with full kitchen, to the amazing Cafe/Bar with a very diverse menu, to the beautiful outdoor seating area. Everything was BEYOND perfect!!! That we couldn't stay longer.

Hoping that it would warm up by the time we settled in, after turning the unit off, unfortunately, it did not. Good thing I had blankets in my car. That and the room was a bit damp…probably from the cold.

This hotel was quiet, had a full kitchen and was clean. The only thing if it were more than just myself there would of been an issue with outlets. They have USB chargers at the night stands with 1 plug the 2nd plus is used for a lamp my phone/watch use c chargers or plugs. But hubby was not there so no issue for me.

I the room was great and comfortable, love that it had kitchen in it. I will stay again.

Our first time as we typically stay with more known brands. The room and general accommodations were good and provided the space needed. The cleanliness wasn’t up to par, and is an area the property could work to improve. Additionally, they were very sparse on general supplies, like towels, toilet paper and so forth. It is clear to me that some try, but they are hindered by budget or training. It’s acceptable if the price point was discounted from known brands, though to achieve a mid tier to premium rate, I’d like to see attention to cleanliness in the room and halls.

The room overall was nice but there are no elevators to carry all your luggage up three flights of stairs. The floors could be cleaned a lot better as well there was a lot of hair/and dirt on the floor. Also we were locked out of our room because their doors need to have the batteries changed out. So we couldn’t leave our room and get back in unless someone came and plugged a charger in. Which was very inconvenient.

The customer service at the front desk was exceptional. The room was perfect for what we needed. We would have liked a Smart TV so that we could stream content. But otherwise everything was great. Would have liked a Smart TV

The room was clean. Do not plan on having a nice breakfast as it is simply grab and go items in the hotel lobby. Do not pre-check in and waste your time. Apparently, their systems don’t communicate although it is from the same company that request for you to complete pre-check in.

The room was awesome. We wanted to give a huge shoutout to the staff at the resteraunt. They accommodated our child SO well and made us feel comfortable. Very attentive and incredibly helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

While the manager was kind and personable, the state of the room was below any kind of reasonable standard of cleanliness. Upon arrival, we discovered that the coffee pot in the kitchen had about an inch of old coffee still in it covered in big fuzzy blobs of mold. There was mold in the utensil drawer. The microwave was dirty with food splatter. The utensils and dishes had been put away dirty. And the paper towel holder and stovetop were both rusty. The vent and the light above the stove did not work. Additionally, the kitchen was poorly appointed. The body wash in the shower was nearly empty. The heat on the AC unit smelled of urine and set the smoke alarm off. While the bed was thankfully comfortable, the overall experience was disappointing and I will not be staying here again.

Choice Hotels has taken over from Marriott. This hotel hasn’t lost a step. In fact, they cemented over the pool in favor of a new restaurant with outdoor dining. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very clean. We had a 2 BR Suite with full kitchen. It was an efficiency apartment. The only thing it lacked was a washer/dryer but that is easily overcome by our 2 day stay. Love that it’s centrally located near TMH, Costco and Mahan Drive and Capital Circle. Great Stay!

First, there is no pool as identified on the listing. It was the main reason we booked this hotel. Second, we were moved twice. The first room was terribly unclean- the sofa sleeper mattress was horribly soiled and stained. The next room wasn’t the best but the sofa sleeper mattress was good. However, the AC dripped all night on the carpeted floor- it was soaked. The last room had no real issues but could have been cleaner. We had to clean the bathroom and kitchen area.

We were unable unable to stay because of being admitted to the hospital. We tried to cancel because of unforseen circumstances but were unable too. We lost the money, insult to injury . I'm sure it would have been wonderful. Maybe next time

The property was clean the staff was friendly and I was honestly pleasantly surprised on how much I enjoyed my stay. It was a last minute booking for parents weekend, and the price was affordable unlike other properties in the area. I will be staying here again in the future.

Our stay was great, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked well. However the shower water did not get as hot as I wanted to but that didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would.

Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the complimentary cocktail reception in their new patio area. I can't wait to visit again to check out the new restaurant they're opening soon :) Bravo to Violet and her enthusiastic front desk staff and to F&B Director Ed for delivering true customer service during our stay... I was very pleased with our room. It was clean and bright and nicely furnished. A much better value for the money compared to a regular hotel room. I will gladly stay here again.

Not a well managed. I was put in a room that had a broken tv and lamp. I learned later when the tv repairman showed up unannounced that the room was not supposed to be assigned until the tv was repaired. The broken lamp be came a strobe light about 3 minutes after being turned on.

It was midnight when we finally got back for bed and had no energy after a long drive from Miami and moving to go back to the front desk. The shower was clogged. Pressure in the shower head was poor. The chair had yellow stains on it. And the cups were not even clean not to mention the dirty utensils in the drawer.

There wasn’t any front office to check in at, the place was under construction without any signs, and there were groups of men loitering around after dark with very little lighting. My daughter and I did not feel safe at all and chose to find another place.

This where we stay when we go to Tallahassee because its right around the corner from the family we go to see. It was a little dirtier than normal but staff is always nice. They are putting in a little restaurant so hopefully that will be there next time we visit.

The website advertised a swimming pool. There was no swimming pool. Offer a full breakfast. There was no full breakfast. The cleaning crew left a 1/2 drink bottle of Coke in the frigerator. And there was a foul smell in the room. When we checked in, we had to buy our own air freshened.

Received over 100 bed bug bites that got infected. Woke up at 2:30am with them crawling all over and biting me! In addition, Customer Service Rep “VIOLET” doesn’t know the rules and regulations hotel telling me they don’t allow dogs 🐕 when they do! Hotel description clearly states they accept dogs, also there’s a Large pet sign for pet pooping station, AND there were several other dogs there! She was more concerned about my service pets that I have identification for than she was about the bed bug infestation that had been bitting me in the middle of the night! In 2025 bed bugs in Hotels is Disgraceful and should NEVER HAPPEN! I was inconvenienced in a major way due to this incident. I would give this have less than Zero stars if I could!!! DISGUSTING AND DISGRACEFUL!!!!!

Banging on walls from 8:30PM-midnight. Contractor said it was an “energency” but stopped as soon as I complained. Walls were physically shaking. No refund or compensation.

Spacious accommodation, comfortable enough The manager! booking made in November 24 on arrival told hotel was full and only room available was a disabled room. AC and Fridge Freezer not on and smelly. Complained told no other rooms available he would come to fix. Miraculously he arrived said he had had cancellation and room next door now available.!!!!! Second room much better although poor water pressure in bathroom sink.

The breakfast was really good. We could go for long walks in the area and felt safe. The beds were comfortable. No natural air in the rooms as windows can't open.

No ice machine in fridge; luggage carts were scarce.

Great find for the price. Beds were comfortable, the living room was spacious, refrigerator had a working ice machine, the heater was perfect, shower had great water pressure. Its not a luxury hotel and it is a bit on the older looking side but everything was in great condition and functioned perfectly.

The property was under renovation. The ceiling had horrible repairs done. The cleanliness was not great.

This property was very cheap and dirty. Our first room was inhabitable due to the strong smell of what smelled like wet dog and when relocated to the second room it was not much better. The smell never goes away. When I complained and Expedia called them to see if any complaint was made, the office manager denied any complaints and pretended nothing happened. I would not waste your money here.

The inside of the room, furniture and floors all appear to be damp and or wet. There appears to be some sort of problem with the air in the room that cost extra humidity issues. Even my clothes became wet over night just hanging in the closet.

Location Weird smell. Kind of dirty. Floor in kitchenette was slippery with oil cleaner or something. Ceiling looked like it had mold on it. Everything needed refreshed. Kind of beat down

The property was fine. I did not like the room smelled like mold and water was leaking in the room getting some of our clothing wet. We had to change rooms where it was filled with condensation with the floors slippery and wet and the bar are filled with condensation. The water was also off for a couple of hours causing me not to be able to wash my face before we had to be somewhere.

Dirty furniture Leaking AC One day without water Junk yard

I stayed there for 2 weeks. Seems like housekeeping doesn't come until you request it, which is strange. Arrived on a Sunday and didn't get any cleaning service until Saturday when I finally went to the front desk. It took multiple days to get some towels after requested. One day, they had carpet cleaners come and clean all of the rooms and hallways with a very loud machine all morning into the afternoon. Issue is that the carpet was damp for literally 4+ days and I couldn't switch to another room because all of them were like that. Breakfast was generally fine but my wife found mold on a muffin she picked up. The room itself was fine overall but had some issues. Multiple lamp lights /bulbs did not work. The microwave button was also broken and would pop out every time you pressed it. Staff talk extremely loud in the hall as if they don't think people actually stay in their rooms.

Older hotel starting to show its age and also in the midst of a remodel. Our room doors all stuck and didn't close properly (except for the entry door to the room). The couch was wet when we checked in unexplainably, and the room had a bit of a musty odor. Also, one of the TV's didn't work. There were signs of water damage that didn't appear to be properly remediated and simply painted over.

Stayed in 2 bedroom suite with sofa bed for 5 people. AC unit housed in closet in living area was extremely loud and leaked causing water to soak the carpet outside the closet door which was close to the sofa bed and caused moldy smell throughout. We didn’t realize until the last night there was a leak due to an easy chair in front of the door. The hotel was under renovation with new siding being installed on the building where our suite was. Machinery, cables and workmen everywhere including outside our windows on mechanical scaffolding. The suite was laid out nicely and the rooms seemed newly painted which was good. A downside was a lack of mirrors, the only ones in the bathroom and there was no microwave. We were visiting for a graduation and did not spend a lot of time in the hotel so this covered our basic needs but would not recommend.

For a Marriot banded property, this was a disappointment. The mattrrss on pull out sofa was soiled and the shower did not work corrsctly. The water was scalding hot and not adustable.

This is a ver nice property. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. It is a nice size room and has all the essentials.

The hotel suite was nice and clean. The staff were also nice. I specifically like that it has a kitchen in the room to cook.

This is a complete garbage I couldn’t believe what I was seeing I went to pick up towel from the front desk this lady had the nerve to give me two towel that look like a rag from a mechanic shop black and white totally dirty. This place is for the homeless it’s stink as hell.

A very comfortable suite. So clean, spacious and modern. We had an issue with our toilet and they were very quick to fix it and very kind and helpful.

Would not rate this a 4 star was disappointed with room it was smelly and uncomfortable bed. Bee to many Marriott hotels and this one was not up to their standards.

The property was fine except that I paid for a non-smoking room and they gave me a room heavily impregnated with smoke odor every: towels, sheets, curtains. I asked for another room or at least a change of sheets but didn’t get any room service during my 2-night stay. They applied an ozone spray, but the smell didn’t dissipate.
