We visited here just a few months ago. Although we like the property, the maintenance of it has gone down noticeably since our last visit. I do feel safe staying at this location. However, when we first entered our room, it was noticeably warm. The thermostat wasn't working. I called down to the front desk, and the gentleman there quickly assessed that the batteries in the thermostat were dead. He then told me he would bring replacement batteries to me. After having waited 30 minutes, I went down to him as it was very stuffy and warm in the room. He quickly told me, "I didn't forget about you, it's just been busy." While I understand this person was covering the desk, I'm sure there was someone -- ANYONE -- else available to run these to our room. Also, one of the beds was missing a bed sheet, so we were literally laying under the bed cover, which was a little gross to me. The carpet also felt dirty as I could see my feet and socks visibly getting darker just from walking across the floor to get something from our suitcases. The room itself was massive. Not sure how any group could use all of the storage space in the room, but the room did feel very big. Also, breakfast is very sufficient. There were boiled eggs, sausage patties, grits with toppings, cereal For the price, this is still on my next visit's list, but I hope it gets cleaner.

The shower was filthy and the frig and dishwasher need to be replaced.

We enjoyed the kitchen, and the beds were comfortable, and the setup was good. We never want to be put below children. We had to turn the TV music on to drown out the noise from kids running on the floor. So it was hard to get some rest. We came to get away from noisy kids from home.

The property was clean. Staff was friendly. Everything was good. Breakfast was good. The only thing I didn’t like about the property it was the pillows and the bed. The bed was horrible, and the pillows were horrible.

Awesome stay. Loved the welcome message on the tv when I first came in. Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection and variety. The gym had a decent amount of machines and I enjoyed using the gym and the pool was small but well kept and clean. I will definitely stay again

it’s spacious but very old and does not look as nice as the pictures make it! The rooms were thin so we could hear everything! Overall, it was doable but we won’t be staying again.

Location Leadership follow up, employee had no critical thinking. Elevators broken ( put a sign) don't tell people to take the stairs. Coffee is broken, go to Dunkin' and get servers of those big coffee containers to have on hand. People like coffee don't make them wait until you can have it ready. Oh and there was a small roach in my room please get the bug man to spray before they have babies.

Great location, easy to get in and out of. The room was clean, however, the sofa was very worn and dirty. Definitely time for something new, maybe in the leatherette/vinyl family. The refrigerator was dirty, as if someone's drink leaked and noone bothered to clean it. Also, the mattresses were longer than the base...sat on the bed and almost slid right off. Parking was easy, breakfast was okay ( the turkey bacon looked scary), no hot water for tea/coffee. Would I stay here again, it depends on who's with me. My husband has bad allergies and when I booked I didn't realize pets were allowed. Overall, it's a decent hotel.

it was a nice hotel and good location for getting something to eat. staff was very nice We had no hot water. Told manager and he was very nice and said he would try to discount some of the cost through booking.com.

Comfortable bed. Nice to have a sofa too. Extremely noisy when kids ran around and yelled, even several rooms away. Sound seemed to echo. I was on the 4th, top floor and it often sounded like feet running above me.

Amazing hotel and staff, close to the mall the restaurants.

The elevator reeked of marijuana. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We didn't use any of the amenities but we did have breakfast which was fine. Pretty basic.

Worst breakfast in a Hilton property we’ve ever had. Noisy children above us and they could do nothing to ameliorate the situation.Disinfectant to cover the odours was worse than the smell being covered. All in all, never again.

Good location at the center of city. Excellent room. Spacious and well equipped. Nice kitchenette. Parking is convenient. Gym is ok with few treadmills. It is a small laundry facility. We had some hiccups while checking in.

It was a good location My room was dirty had trash on floor, a dog treat under bed, dirty sheets and crumbs on counters, the floor wasn’t vacuumed. Then a giant roach ran across the room!

Hotel was very dirty. Carpets in hallways were black. Carpets in room were dirty, the bathroom was gross. The bathtub was all black on the bottom and the caulking was stained and gross. Overall it just felt gross and dirty.

The room was clean. But details were an issue: empty shower gel and kleenexes. Ran out of coffee and oatmeal at breakfast. And hotels.com didn’t get the handicap room we needed. It was ok but frustrating.

Breakfast bar was better than expected. Problem was this: 1st morning had to run water like 3 min before hot water came out. But not a big deal and at that point was thinking very highly of the hotel value. That evening needed to take another quick shower before dinner, after being at baseball game all day, but there was NO hot water. NONE. Literally ran the shower for 10 min and it stayed cold. Ended up taking a “euro-shower”. Ridiculous. A major hotel with no hot water. None from the sink either. Unfortunately was in a rush and never discussed with management. But this couldn’t have been isolated or a surprise to them.

We’re finally able to sleep. Hotel was sold out. She said the manager may be able to compensate us the next day. The manager was friendly, apoologjzed, said because we booked via third party all she could do was move us to another room if we packed up everything which we did; the hotel has a plaque that says quality experience or “guaranteed complimentary night on us”. This was not homored so at a minimum Hilton should remove the sign.

The staff was wonderful! Very polite and helpful. The room however had several broken issues. There was not inside door handle in the bathroom, the TV stand was broken and had sharp edges, the rolling desk had a broken wheel and the matress was worn out with a sink hole in the center.

Spacious room for a family of 6. Walkable to several different eateries. Decent gym 2 treadmills weren't working.

We’ve stayed at this location several times but this time our rooms beds/mattresses were very soft and a couple lg tiles in bathroom were very loose. I’d recommend this hotel again but improvements needed

Only complaint I found was that the exterior of the fridge in my room was a little sticky and fingerprints were left on the exterior door. But it was not a big deal.

I didnt realized you need to let the front desk know that you want housekeeping to clean your room. It happen twice, (once on the 25th and again on the 26th of December). On the 26th I asked housekeeping if she could clean my room. The housekeeper told me that I need to let the desk know I would like my room clean, which I didn't know

Room has two broken lights/lamps, and the lights at the entry/kitchen area were inoperable. Phone was broken and handset could not plug into the main unit. Two outlets were ripped out of the wall and unusable. NO CONDITIONER even an option in the shower; who just uses shampoo these days? Bathtub didn’t drain. Overall, room 323 was in poor repair and made for an unpleasant experience.

Tv was not very big. Could not watch it from the bed by the window. The staff was very very friendly however one night we had our grandkids stay over to sleep on the couch bed and requested additional pillows and a blanket 3 times and they were never delivered. Not a great experience at this hotel. Thankfully the weather was amazing and we were visiting family for the holidays so that saved our vacation and made it great in spite of where we were staying.

There were druggies hanging out outside the hotel, one kept asking me for a ride while I was trying to get into my car for work, and then another one, trying to get into the side of the hotel, chased my son inside while he was taking the dog out. The room was really outdated, very dirty & the majority of the staff were incompetent when asked any questions. They laughed off the guy chasing my son saying that the guy wasn’t supposed to be there already, they also have NO OUTSIDE CAMERAS for the safety of customers. My bill through Expedia was supposed to be $870 & they charged me $920 because they tacked on 3 different taxes that were supposed to be included in the price, PLUS parking fee each day, even though they have signs everywhere that says park at your own risk & 0 cameras!! We had to switch rooms half way through my stay due to our toilet leaking. The outside gas grill’s barely worked & you had to wait at least 30 minutes to get hot water in the morning and most of the time in the evening as well. The breakfast was OK, it could’ve been better.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast had several options for a free meal. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Bed was a little worn but still comfortable. The moisture level/humidity far exceeded the outside, it never dried out despite of AC blowing hard. Black mold all over bathroom ceiling, and the shower barely got warm unless you ran sink water simultaneously. It was incredible stuffy, moldy and very uncomfortable. Will not stay here again.

There are hot water issues at this hotel currently. Other reviews suggest it’s been ongoing for at least 3-4 days. While the front house staff were helpful, there is nothing they can do about it. They should be offering discounts and/or calling guests so they can rebook elsewhere.

The room smelled like wet dog. When I requested that we be placed in another room we were told that the hotel is fully booked and we can have some febreeze until morning. No apology or even care. But we can have some febreeze to mix with dog smell.

We immediately called the front desk and they did absolutely nothing! They simply said they don’t have a security guard and that we shouldn’t open the door for the man. Are you kidding me?! The man left after a few minutes, but the staff did absolutely nothing to put our minds at ease. They did not come to check on us to see if we were okay, did not check the cameras to locate the man after he left our door, nothing! The man obviously had nefarious intentions, as there were only females in the room. I am just disgusted by their lack of concern for the safety of their guests. Due to this and several other things that happened during our stay I absolutely do not recommend!

The breakfast leaves a bit to be desired but did the job. The hotel's proximity to a few restaurants and the local university makes it a great option.

Very disappointed in the quality of this Hilton property. Room and bathroom were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing. Additionally, after getting my cereal and searching for a spoon, I was told the kitchen was out of spoons. I did note that there were many in the used utensil bin, as did the breakfast room staff, however, they did not replenish the spoons. The breakfast selection was very disappointing. I do not recommend this location

Was nice however.. no maid service daily as the come every other day .. stayed 2 days and wet towels and trash was full The continental breakfast was a joke.. dry hard bagels.. no eggs .. no toast.. burnt coffee .. no enough fruit to serve a crowd.. if you stay here byob( bring your own bed😊 ( bring your own breakfast 😁) Front desk workers were very professional and nice.. tried to get me another room but hotel was booked

Room had a full kitchen, which we didn't use but a nice feature for the family that needs it. Hotel lobby nice, free breakfast very limited. Room needs shower upgrade & some decor.

Mr. Jamal was awesome. However I am a little confused. I recon it's not important. Anyway the room was clean. Hallways were fresh. Overall its a nice place and we would stay again.

The floors are thin because you an hear every step above you and the slamming doors at 6am in unacceptable . Quiet close doors are needed

The reason my family and I use Home2 Suites is for the consistency in the quality that is delivered. This was the exception, the place just looked beat up. The tub didn’t drain, the lavatory drain didn’t operate properly, the board at the front desk said there would be waffles at breakfast and there wasn’t. It was just an overall disappointment.

Cons-room had a damp smell, shower floor stained, we had to kill a huge silverfish roaming on the pulled out sofabed which we didn't use. Bed mattress hard as a rock. Rooms are in need of a deep, clean sanitation

No hot water the entire stay. The plumber came to fix it but said they would not have it fixed for a week. He said this happens frequently at this hotel.

Way overpriced for the stay, wasn't impressed with the area but close to the hospital. The shopping centers by it were very dirty. Hotel was average.

This is an excellent hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay (wish it could have been longer). The beds, pillows were super comfy and the room was clean as a whistle. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future

I mentioned this upon checkout and was promised a call from the hotel manager. A week later and I’ve still been unable to get a hold of anyone noteworthy. Not what I expect from a Hilton at $200 per night.

Very spacious rooms. Well maintained and clean. Confortable beds and pillows. Kitchen was a great convenience, with the full size refrigerator. Our room didn't include a stovetop but we didn't need ii so we didn't request it. Breakfast was fully stocked, good quality, several options, enough space to seat during breakfast. The area is close to the Capitol. Abundat parking spaces for the hotel. Several restaurants in front of the hotel, within the same parking lot, no need to cross the street.

Tjey need to work on hot water. I like the Proximity to eating places.

The property is nice. We arrived 20 minutes early and although our room was ready, we would be charged $10 if we wanted to check in early. Not what I expect from a Hilton property. So much for customer service.

It was easy to get to and cheap to stay at for one night

Shower was dirty and shower gel dispenser did not work. There were multiple hairs on the shower walls, which tells me they did not even bother to rinse it off never mind properly clean. Room 320 if management is interested. This is my second stay at Hilton properties this month and both properties were not well kept.

Booked a stay here because it was close to the Florida State campus. It also had plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. We arrived late with our kids to be welcomed by a young man smoking pot in front of the hotel by the fire. The lady at the desk was wearing a mask with a picture of an attack dogs mouth and teeth. A little strange but she was friendly. The room was large which was nice. The beds although listed as queens seemed small and were not the most comfortable but not horrible. We took a shower the next morning and it was the worst experience I have had at a hotel. The water barely came out and in different directions (Shower head needs replacement ) but that wasn't the bad part. It was either a scolding hot shower or an ice cold shower, absolutely nothing in between. No kidding, I tried everything. Needless to say, very quick showers. We went down for breakfast and it was okay, had decent selections and they were very friendly. Later that day I mentioned to the same lady with the dog mask the issues we had with the shower, she replied with sorry. Not, let me have housekeeping or maintenance look at it or would you like to try another room?? Not good customer service for sure. Same shower experience the next morning. Overall, not a great experience and we will not choose this hotel when we come back in June or in the future.

Courteous, responsive staff. I liked the gym. All the equipment was working & maintained well. The breakfast had a very good variety of proteins & carbs. Overall very impressive.

I was surprised that the breakfast attendants did not have the hot egg selections readily available. We waited almost 30 minutes for fresh omelets.

The Suite at twice the regular rate per night room was ok if you are comparing it to a Ramada or perhaps the Red Roof Inn … kitchenette excluded paper towels, no cloths to wipe. most lamps inside did not work. Entry lighting in ceiling did not work. No Kleenex anywhere. No clock of any kind Why was room so expensive? This rate in Tallahassee Hilton on a disaster trying to escape hurricane Milton in Sarasota. Just Awful. Can I get my money back?

Everyone was very nice. Great place to stay.

Room was clean and included a kitchen - all the essentials were there. The fitness center included a Peloton bike that was appropriately connected to the WiFi. Great to be able to hop on that and not miss a day's workout. My daughter and I were in town to tour Florida State University. This location was just a short car ride to the FSU campus.

Room was on third floor and people staying above us were loud stomping on floor late at night. There was a small leak / water dripping from ceiling in bathroom. Stopped leaking so we didn’t have to switch rooms.

Toilet seat was broken and the TV did not work. Other than that, it was great

The power went out on the first night (power line was hit or something). An elderly man was stuck in the elevator in the dark and most residents were sitting outside for hours due to the heat with no power or a/c. Power was restored in the middle of the night after sweating through sleep. No apologies from the staff. Then the cable went out on the third night so we had no TV for hours. Again, no apologies from the staff. The least you could have done was credit everyone for one night on their bill for the inconvenience but of course that's not going to happen. Used this hotel because we had to drop my child off to college. I do not plan to stay here again.

Ac didn’t work in room, told staff and then was told some you don’t control on the wall and on unit. Informed them we tried both and only response was oh ok. Lobby and other areas were so humid and hot!!!! Tile missing from room, bed sheets felt wet due to humidity, carpet felt sticky and after walking on carpet my feet left black prints on bathroom tile. Bottom of frig was all rusted!!!

In my experience, hotels stand out when the staff shines and this was not the case unfortunately.

I was with the guys and it was a suite it looked tuff inside, had an its own fridge, sink, dishes and table. The Front desk lady was amazing and friendly.

The pull out couch needs a better mattress. It was extremely uncomfortable. An incidental was charged, but no explanation was given.

Front desk was very apologetic and did his best to accommodate us. Our couch was stained and smelled musty. We would give it a try again.

We had a nice stay. The staff was great and the setup was good for those using a wheelchair. I think they just need to work on the a/c unit for the room I was in as it took forever to cool down and I was on the first floor.
