The hotel was clean and attractive inside, The breakfast was good. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the pool area was very plain and unattractive. A few potted plants would make a big difference. At most nice hotels the pool are is very inviting. This was not inviting at all. To be fair, the pool was very clean. The only chairs, tables, and loungers were in a little alcove near the pool. If you wanted to sit by the pool you had to move tables and chairs out to the poolside. The floor around the pool needed to be washed. There were many stains on the pool deck. Also the outside entrance to the hotel needed to be cleaned. Our first impression was not good. As soon as we walked inside we were pleasantly sud on how nice the hotel was.

It was convenient and clean. The only issue is they locked out the room keys before our 11am scheduled checkout time. Luckily there was someone in the room to open the door.

The room was clean; however, the walls are very thin and it was very noisy at night making it difficult to sleep. Also, most hot items on the breakfast buffet were cold and inedible.

Location is great for FSU families.Walls were extremely thin, there was a large group on the same floor and we heard them all night and early morning. Received a dirty towel, staff was kind and provided additional. Parking lot filled up quickly, there was additional in the garage. The breakfast was a typical hotel free breakfast. There were ice machines in the floors, but no where to fill with water. Not great, would stay again in a pinch.

The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Front desk lady was wonderful. I didnt have breakfast but there was quite a bit provided.

All of the staff was friendly and helpful. Ever morning the breakfast was fresh and there was a nice variety. I totally enjoyed my stay.

Good location. They put us in a handicapped room at first which was in disrepair with peeling paint in the bathroom. They moved us to a 2 queen room (even though we had paid extra for the king) and the first room wasn’t made up. The 3rd time was the charm and we had a good stay from there. They didn’t act happy that we had booked through Hotels.com and I believe that is why they gave us a substandard room.

There was a petrified orange peel left on age chair in the room, makes you wonder how throughly everything is cleaned?

Staff were nice and helpful. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. The actual bedroom was clean. The walls were so thin we could hear the man on the next room snoring so loudly. It was very uncomfortable and creepy. There was urine crusted to the floor around the toilet. Breakfast was barely edible. I saw several guests including myself spit the eggs and turkey sausage back out as it was awful. There was no butter for the toast. There were no coffee cups for tea/coffee. Oatmeal used to be hot and ready and this time it was packaged microwaveable. There was a doorbell on our door which I’d rang was alarming. Never have I seen that before.

The WiFi could’ve also been better we had to watch tv on our phones bc none of the channels would work.

If you like regular sausage, eggs, cinnamon roll rolls muffins, yogurt, and fruit plus cereal take your pick. After checking out around 7 AM I was asked if I wanted a printout, but the printer stopped working” emails work for me anyway”. Heading to the FSU for a meeting. I got an alert for an unexpected charge from the hotel, I just checked out of. They charge me for the night stay that was already paid for through Expedia booked a month in advance. I immediately called the hotel to explain and placed on hold. My charge-was reversed unfortunately I have to wait on the hotel and my financial institution to reverse the charges pending. Thank goodness for backup income if needed, because this was very messy business interaction from check-in. Most likely my next visit to Tallahassee and FSU I’ll book elsewhere.

There was a cockroach infestation. We killed 4 of them in a few hours. Had to get moved to another floor and put a wet towel over the bathtub drainage to avoid roaches coming back. It was a terrible experience.

The hotel has a cockroach infestation. We killed 4 and had to be relocated to the last floor. Had to cover the bathtub drainage with a wet towel in order to avoid more roaches. No compensation was received. Took pictures and videos. Worst experience.

The thin walls made it difficult to get sleep. The breakfast meat was like cardboard and every day was the same breakfast. Parking was okay, staff was friendly. Had an issue with my card. You guys kept charging my card. Had to freeze it and spoke with front desk about it. Not good security measures. Staff were exellent. And the room was clean.

This hotel is newly renovated and it is so clean and updated! Actually surprised how nice. The location was 1 mile from the FSU Stadium and lots of restaruants within 2 miles of the hotel.

I checked out the owner or whoever made a big deal because it wasn’t two people, it was three I had three kids and so they said need to charge you10 dollars for an extra person. I really liked hotel but I will never return $10not worth a repeat customer

This location is close to the airport and FAMU. The rooms, lobby, and elevators are clean and kept up with. The rooms are nicely decorated. There is ample parking. The staff is friendly. The price to stay is very good as well.

We lost power for about an hour. Also the breakfast was a little lack luster but it did the job.

Normally, Holiday Inn express offer is a very clean hotel with fairly modern rooms, but not this one I stayed two nights and housekeeping did come in, but they still didn’t vacuum

Beds comfortable, room size large, bath towels large Spa was dirty. Treadmill not cleaned- empty water bottles littered the space. Bathroom could use a deep clean- corners on floor dirty. Clocks not changed for daylight savings in room and spa.

Pool wasn’t open, didn’t see a time of year it was so I assumed it was open. Who appeared to be the manager came in barking at the kitchen staff and housekeeping staff on our second morning there 3/23. He came in during breakfast to the front desk, then brushed in the kitchen to speak to the kitchen staff lady, and was yelling at her with the kitchen back room door open. My kids were in there fixing bagels, he could have handled whatever issue with the staff quietly and discreetly without disturbing the guests. Then after breakfast, I went to my room and he was on my floor a couple room down AGAIN barking at the housekeeping staff, and didn’t even manage to quiet down once he saw me trying to get into my room just to exercise discernment. What a way to come into your place of business causing chaos and being a jerk to your employees in front of guests. Even if the reprimand was warranted, there is a place and time to do so and there is a way to talk to your staff, especially if there are dialect, cultural, and language barriers on BOTH sides. Totally unprofessional of the management who ultimately is supposed to be a gentleman.

When we arrived at the property (late due to a delay in flight) the front desk person had left a note that they’d return. Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait very long to check in. The room was good, bathroom was clean but the bed could have used an extra pillow or two. Overall, a good experience.

The hotel itself was lovely and the staff super nice. Breakfast ends earlier than usual (930) which caught us offguard. The area surrounding the hotel is kind of run down and not all that nice

Very nice hotel, room was nice and clean, newly renovated, close to FSU. We only stayed for one night, but really enjoyed it and would love to stay again.

Check in was incredibly easy and everyone was kind and helpful!

The hotel front desk were very nice. Check in and out was easy. The parking is VERY limited and over flow goes to a sketchy feeling poorly lit parking garage. I would stay her again and just arrive earlier where my chances of parking are better.

Extremely noisy but we’re expected that given its location.

Cons: 1st room had a broken door (we were moved immediately to a new room though), musty smell (if you are sensitive to mold this is not the place for you!), I would also say although the hotel was not dirty, it did need more attention to cleaning. Toilet was not clean, wrappers left from last guest and streaks of something on the bedcover.

The Hotel was very clean and quiet. The area is a little sketchy but just needed a place to sleep for the night..

Everything was great except the coffee maker in room 218 didn't work
