We got here at the property later than expected because of our car rental issues. I was hoping that getting there so late they would have discounted our stay since we only stayed there a couple of hours approximately 5 hours. Not to mention the early morning staff was bit rude, thinking we were doing an early checkout on the contrary we were just checking in. Discounted or prorated price based on the time we got there.

They should provide some hot water without the flavour of coffee…other than everything is perfect…!!!

Clean rooms but still found odd things behind desks and dressers when looking for lost earbud. Nice hotel staff when needed towels and soap, but not great for the amenities. Breakfast was okay.

I specifically needed a ground level room near an exit as I was traveling with a blind dog who was having eye surgery in both eyes. The gentleman who checked me in had it already accommodated for me & even asked how my dog was doing. So thoughtful and kind.

The staff was so welcoming. One thing I noticed was they were not only pleasant and helpful with customers, but also to each other. That does make a difference in staff, when they respect each other! I did love the indoor pool, but I thought it was going to be heated. The rooms were very clean and maintained. The breakfast was on point, plenty of choices. Loved the waffle maker! My son lives in Tallahassee, and I visit several times a year. You count on us being repeat visitors at this specific location!

It was comfortable and close to everything I just would have lived an airport shuttle our flight got in so late could not pick up the car rental and needed to uber to get back and forth. Our receptionist treated us better after finding out about our Marriott rewards elite status.

I suggest asking if they have a school event staying during the time you intend to book. Very loud crowd unable to sleep until 3am.

I just needed a place to stay one night in Tallahassee, and this was suitable. Not exactly central, but it didn't matter since I had a rental car. The breakfast was on the better end relative to what I have encountered in American hotels - eggs and sausage, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, fruit, etc... I had a short swim, but the pool is very shallow on one end so it isn't ideal for swimming laps (but I'm sure it is great for kids!) No real complaints... a bit "sterile" in being a boring chain hotel without any real character... but that was expected and not a real detriment.

Although the rooms are small, they are clean with comfortable beds, excellent air-conditioning, and very friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was a very nice mix of hot and cold items.

On Friday the AC was working fine until it stopped completely. We called down to the desk Saturday Morning and told them. There was not a maintenance person there at the time. We left and came back and it still was not working so my husband called back to the desk and the AC immediately started working. By the time Maintenance came to our door it was working. BUT we were hot all night Friday in Room 415. Other than that the stay turned out nice.

Breakfast was good. Nice indoor pool. Beds weren’t comfortable. TV remote wouldn’t work very well. Air conditioner was so loud that I couldn’t hear the tv.

I liked the layout of our king studio suite. Having our boys on the pullout sofa with their own TV in a separated area from our bed and baby in her pack n play was nice. One of our rooms smelled like someone smoked weed and then sprayed a bunch of cologne to cover up the smell. My parents slept in that room and they were offered a different room or to have it cleaned again, but they declined. I had a headache just from being in there briefly.

Rooms were a little small compared to other places I have stayed. They were very clean. The beds are hard, they need to swap them for a hybrid firm, soft mattress. Pillows were nice and soft. Overall not a well kept hotel. Many things are in bad shape and need to be replaced. Example: in the gym, the elliptical machine was broken and made a loud thumping noise, and the gym had a terrible smell in it.

This hotel has an unbeatable location to everything you could need within walking distance. Restaurants, shops, and attractions are all nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The beachfront access combined with easy access to local amenities made our stay absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!

She did have to call maintenece which is not on site. She was very accomodationg and the maint. Person came quickly. The pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and sunk in the middle. Do not book that as a place for anyone to sleep.

I liked the swimming and the workout room - the staff gave me extended checkout as my taxi wasn't coming until 12.30. The coffee and tea bar in the lobby 24hours was also a real treat, especially after just arriving when you are tired. The microwave/fridge in the room is great for snacks. Don't change the tea or the breakfast!!

It was alright. I found the mattress to be hard, lumpy & squeeky. I'm not a fan of the fake eggs. The coffee was good, but wasn't kept full for the full breakfast service. Check in was smooth. The parking is plentiful and the price was right.

Good stay. Came in middle of the night so didn’t wake up in time to tell about breakfast. The place is very clean. The staff was professional. The suite we booked had a pull out bed that had more to be desired. It was more the size of a twin bed than a double. We made it work and everything else was ok. I’ll mention again that the place is clean and smells fresh. The walls and carpet are a little bit worn but not bad. For the price I was satisfied and would consider staying here again.

Everything was well-stocked by Ms. Wilmarie, who was fantastic. Brittney, our room attendant, was superb—very accommodating and pleasant. The front desk staff were equally impressive. Everyone was so nice, and I truly appreciated the attention to guest needs and requests, which is something rare in today’s lack of hospitality in this industry so Thank you!

The stay was fair. The cleaning staff came to my room only twice in the week that i was there. They let a wrestling team with a bunch of rowdy kids stay on the second floor that kept the whole area up all night.

This property description online is far from what is expected. My room had roaches and also bed bugs . This location needs to be remodeled everything is outdated and old. Would not recommend staying here .

Such a joy to land at this hotel. Every, and I mean every employee was nice, friendly, helpful, pleasant. Can’t wait to go back. And yes, all the other stuff was good too, breakfast, rooms, location.

The Fairfield brand must have dropped considerably. Property was adequate, but shows it's wear. The fitness center was VERY small - one treadmill was non-working and the other had a loose tread that caused tripping; there were no workout mats and no cleaning wipes for after machine use (gross!). Key cards kept deactivating and we had to keep going to the desk to replace them. The breakfast was fine but hot food ran out at least 15 minutes before the end of breakfast. The best thing going for it was the location. At least I got my Bonvoy points.

Manager of this hotel, left the front desk person overwhelmed during graduation weekend at Florida State University. Rooms were not ready an hour and a half after they were supposed to be ready by 3 PM. When a hotel like the Marriott has a standard that the room should be ready by 3 PM and they are not even ready by 4:30 PM and the front desk person is by themselves with no help from housekeeping manager to give her an idea of when the rooms will be ready. That’s the definition of poor management and a lack of taking ownership. You would expect the manager not to be taking a vacation during the busiest time of the year or at least have the in charge manager be present with thorough planning to ensure customer expectations are being met. I will be sending an email to the president of Marriott to express my concerns about this poor management structure at this hotel.

Was in town with my family of 2 adults and 4 kids for an illness in our extended family. The hotel was great, no complaints. Family friendly. Kids loved the pool. We have nothing bad to say, it was an excellent stay.

I arrived late and did not realize the AC was not working until I woke up at 3am and the room was 79 degrees. I informed the front desk in the am as it was so late. There was water dripping in the bathroom ceiling.

Very nice and attentive staff

One very creaky elevator with ratty carpet worked. We were told the other had been out of service for months. Cleaners knocked on our door before 8am and were grousing to each other in elevator about short staff and needing to clean 20 rooms- not exactly a “Bonvoy” experience.

Great staff and property

The Fairfield was a decent hotel with a very friendly staff. The room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. Getting in and out of the facility was challenging given the traffic on Apalachee and Capital Circle, but otherwise it was a fine place and I’ll definitely use it again.

Paula was very nice and exceptionally helpful!

They have bed bugs. Me and my daughter were bit in our sleep.

On thw surface the hotel looks amazing, until we were dead asleep and got bit by bedbugs! The front desk clerk was not surprised!

Property was very hard to find because sign was blocked by foliage.

Friendly and accommodating Staff. However, the cleanliness of the room could be significantly improved with more rigorous cleaning standards. The furnishings also appeared outdated and could benefit from some minor renovations. With a few improvements, this hotel has the potential to offer a much more pleasant stay.

This hotel is a good value in a location that is convenient for us in Tallahassee. Pets are allowed (for a fee). We love the free breakfast - lots of healthy options.

this was a quick one day Stay. I didn’t have much time to tour the hotel but from what I saw it was a very friendly staffed clean hotel I’ll definitely be looking into staying there again.
