First room they gave us we walked in and the beds were unmade and stains on the sheets. 2nd room was clean so maybe a maid forgot a room?. They pool was extremely cold and no where to sit. Extremely cold in june..Come on now. They ran out of towels apparently so we didn't even have enough. While there, there was a football team staying there too. Running all over the hotel and knocking on everyone's doors and running off. Driving fast through the parking lot and blaring loud music. Breakfast was gone after they got through. Hotel wasn't able to keep up with many guests apparently. Oh yeah vending machines take your money.

I was pleased with the premises. The property was clean. The rooms was clean. Breakfast was good. Customer Service was great. Definitely would recommend if you’re in Tallahassee area.

I was one a road trip alone and spent one night. The breakfast was minimal but good. I found the king room updated and comfortable. I thought I got a great deal as everything was good and I had no issues and it was low cost. I’d definitely stay here again on my road trip between Texas and Florida.

I did not like there was walking above us off and on all night. The remote was not working for the television without constant work. Room was clean. One bed was fine but the other felt like it had a broken spring. I did like that it had a refrigerator and microwave. It also had an indoor pool and a breakfast. The staff was very helpful at check in and check out. Very nice ladies were cleaning and the lady keeping the breakfast stocked was very nice. I love the location as easy to get anywhere in Tallahassee.

Breakfast ok but need other sources of protein like turkey sausage/bacon. Parking sufficient! Bathroom was not safe for use because it was on a slope and slippery.

Everything was nice, and comfortable. I did not want to leave. The room was clean the staff treated us with respect parking wasn't a huge issue. And there was no noise, we slept without any disturbance.

Room was clean, staff was friendly. The pillows are small square pillows, really uncomfortable. We asked for an extra pillow and was told they would bring it to our room. We never got the pillow. Breakfast was chaotic. One man hogged the waffle machine and made 8 waffles then loaded more breakfast items and he and his wife grabbed more breakfast items and headed to their room both arms full. There were two sports teams and the breakfast area was packed. You could not get to any of the items to serve yourself without getting cut off. Just too many people for the amount of food, use of toaster and waffle iron were out of question. Ended up with a cold danish and cereal. Worst hotel breakfast experience ever.

I stayed at the hotel for approximately two days. The hotel was getting floors cleaned and the air conditions maintained at that time (with just signage basically saying suck it up). This was truly disappointing and was extremely loud when my girlfriend and I were trying to sleep. I paid a total of 23 dollars more for a premium room and the entire room looked no different than the other rooms shown on Expedia. Our room had a lot to be desired and needed to be upgraded and completed desperately. The hotel had such a great score(8.8) is the only reason I booked there but honestly I would rate it closer to a 5(at most).

However ckin was not good because the person before us did not have the right reservation. We waited 20 min after a long drive, I finally asked the front desk person to ck us in. She did.

The room smelled like burnt all the time. The bathtub had a pubic hair when I was about to use it for the first time. The air conditioner in the bedroom had a constant noise. Breakfast was of a poor quality, but expected. No a good idea to have breakfast or even coffee.

We were held up in St. Augustine and didn't get in after 10. We were checked in and on our way to the room very quickly. Morning came much too early. Breakfast was fresh, the eating area was kept tidy by a very pleasant woman and we checked out and were on our way with no problems. We would stay here again, it is very convenient to all the things we wanted to see on our much too short stop in Tallahassee.

Room was what seemed to be a little used handicapped accessible room. Difficult to tune the water in shower and no curtin caused water to flow onto floor. Desk attendant appeared to not really want to be meeting guests. Everything about property was good. except as noted.

I had 3 major issues. The a/c was extremely loud. The room had weird smell. And the morning desk clerk was very rude and unapproachable. I said Food morning and she did never lifted her head. She continued what she was doing. I said to her nevermind.

The breakfast was the best we have had at any hotel/motel! The eggs and sausage were excellent! Our room was near the elevator, and there was some late-night activity near that area, but it subsided after 11 pm.

One of my favorite places to stay when I go to Tallahassee. This trip I just used the hotel & room to sleep. My room was the “suite” and the separate living area was nice with both a chair & sofa. Spacious. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Housekeeping never checked our room even once for a 4 day stay. We had to call for fresh towels and toilet paper. While I didn't need my room fully made up, emptying the trash daily and providing more of what we used, would have been nice

They had bare minimum everything and didn’t furnish paper towels or even a kitchen towel and no hangers to hang clothes on. Our room smelled like urine. All the living room furniture was smelly and old. Covered all with sheets.

I booked two rooms for my family. The first night after check in was a disaster. My mother was getting ready for bed, when lifting the blanket we notice a huge very disturbing looking stain on the sheets. There was a bug crawling on the ceiling and another one dead on the floor. The sheets on either bed did not look clean. I went back and forth with the front desk. At first they wanted to charge me more to switch to a better room. Which is absolutely not right after being in such a gross room. We had children with us and would never let them sleep on those sheets. My room I tried not to complain as much but the sheets were old and puffy, one of the blankets had a big hole in the middle. And there were stains like lipstick or something on my sheets. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly at all. I even had to use disinfectant wipes to wipe down the door. There was chewed up gum sitting visibly on the tub wall. How could the cleaning person miss that, I saw it right away. One of the bathrooms looked like I had mold. The floors needed a good bleaching and their was someone else’s hair all over the floor. The rooms bothered me so much that I did not want to eat breakfast there even though it was included in the stay. If I cat trust the rooms then I can’t trust the kitchen. The staff was not so bad but I don’t think I will ever be staying here again. It’s needs a major upgrade.

First night we got there there was a bettle bug in my bed, called down and asked to be moved to a different room and they moved us. The manager was supposed to call us but we still haven’t heard from her. The next morning when we went to brush our teeth the sink in our second room wasn’t draining, as we left for the day we let the desk clerk know and gave permission to fix it while we were gone. We’ve been home for 2 days and are still waiting to hear from the manager. The staff were all very nice just very disappointed in the management

Payed just over $100 so it was a fair price. The pillows are the smallest thing I have ever seen in my life… your head will barely fit on one. Front desk personnel was okay. Did not have the breakfast. Surrounding area is a little sketchy, but most of Tallahassee is. Walls are paper thin and can her noise my neighboring rooms.

We have stayed at other country inns in other cities before and had wonderful experiences, but this one was absolutely horrible and the blame lies 100% on the staff and the manager. Too many problems to list, but all of our room keys stopped working when we woke up the next morning at 6:30 in the morning. The staff and manager appeared as if it was their first day on the job during every problem and they both severely lack people skills that are normal in the hospitality industry. The beds in each of our rooms were hard and lumpy. Each room smelled like someone had just poured a jug of pine-sol on the cheap, fake wood floors when we opened each room door. The staff called the manager/owner and put her on speakerphone… she just repeatedly told us to call Expedia. This hotel needs a new owner/manager/staff!!!!

The hotel is dated and in need of repairs. The hotel and room was clean just not up to my standards. It hasn’t been remodeled in a long time. The drywall, paint and tile needs a lot of work. However the staff was nice and helpful and the check in was easy .

Gas leak on the outside. We have two small children and smelled it. Known by the owners. Told us to not worry about it but it’s a safety hazard and was told we would be refunded. We rebooked at another hotel. We didn’t even checkin to the room. No refund given. I hope it’s worth it.

That same day, we informed the front desk secretary that we needed to leave and kindly requested a refund for the second night, which we did not use. She told us she would need to consult with her manager since the reservation was made through Hotels.com. To date, I have not received any response or resolution. I have written more than eight times, and the only reply I receive is that they are “working on it.” I have not been informed of the status of the refund, nor have I received any confirmation. This situation has been very frustrating, and I would appreciate a clear update and resolution regarding the refund for the unused night as soon as possible.

Original room was not clean. I have photos of how dirty the mattress sheets and towels are along with the boxspring. There were a little black bugs in our room and the hotel was not secure. I was able to enter an exit the side door without a key upon my arrival, I told the front desk that the towels and rags in my room was dirty instead of moving me she just gave me other towels and rags that were stained. This was Christmas days or nothing was open for us to go and purchase rags and towels of our own. The next day, I asked the front desk about moving to a clean room and she stated because I booked through a third-party they were not able to move me because their hands are tied when it’s third-party and I told her even if the room was not clean, she said well let me speak with my manager, and I guess the manager gave her approval to move me when it came to breakfast. All the guests that were there for eating breakfast were not guest of the hotel more so looked at live family of the owner or the cook. They were not many guests in the hotel. During this time the elevator got stuck and makes a weird noise as it goes up. The door often didn’t shut and you had to wait minutes before it did. I’ve stayed at plenty of country and suites before and this is by far the worst one I’ve ever stayed at I was told upon my check-in that I didn’t need a room deposit because of the radius in which I was coming from the next morning I was awaken with a phone call from front desk stating that

I know it's the holidays, but the staff wasn't really very responsive and the floors in our room had never been cleaned. You could tell they had used a mop in the bathroom as there was a lighter dirt stripe from the bathroom door to the toilet. However, the tub was the cleanest We've ever seen. Must of been brand new.

Two night stay. Hotel was in convenient location and main road nearby restaurants and shopping area. Room was on first floor and clean. Support staff wasn’t great and a loud clicking sound in my room. Apparently the room above mine complained too so it wasn’t a widespread issue but a definite problem. Support staff didn’t seem to care much. Pot smokers in the parking lot by my car as I was leaving.

The hotel was clean, the housekeeping staff was super friendly and accommodating, breakfast has good options. Location is convenient to the interstate and quiet. The only reason it is not a 5 star is the fact that the building is just an older building, worn carpet in the hallways.

Nice location but this place is very run down. The floor in our room and bathroom were so gross. I didn't want to take my shoes off. They only service the rooms every 3 days. The place needs a good cleaning and some updates. Won't be staying there again.

Location is buried in the back behind a couple other hotels. It is right off the exit but when leaving in the morning there was bumper to bumper traffic to get back on the interstate. The hotel itself is outdated and felt sketchy. Room had no soap and zero amenities upon arrival. We had to go down to front desk to ask for some. Breakfast was decent. Too many other nearby options in same price range to stay there again.

We had a room next to the elevator and it dinged loudly whenever it arrived. The parking situation was inadequate when we arrived late after the football game ended with people having nowhere to park- one row of parking had VERY narrow spaces. Staff was friendly, but the parking was enough for me to reconsider future stays.

We didn’t stay. We got to the Confort Inn & Suites on Monroe in Tallahassee and were told there was no reservation for us. Since then, we have been told we were at the wrong location. We had the address in the GPS and that it where we were. Panicked that we would not get a room on a big- game weekend, we were lucky enough to find a great room. We demand a refund from you!

Way overpriced for a run down hotel. Pillows were terrible. Everything is old. Fridge didn’t work. Water turned off and on when in use. Smelled musty. Vent blew right in your face when in bed. Nowhere near enough parking. Overall, not a pleasant stay.

The property is clean and the rooms are a good size. Plenty of space for two adult and two teens. Even had a pull out couch bed so the kids could have a bed to themself. Short driving distance to locations in Tallahassee. Breakfast is meh- typical to hotel breakfasts, but it’s included so it works if you need it.

Stayed for a total of 5 nights (stayed 2 nights, then left to spend 3 nights at the beach, returned for 3 more nights). Reasonably priced room (for the nights we stayed, as weekend prices, probably because of football games, were much too expensive) which was clean and comfortable. Beds were fine, bathroom was great. Plenty of counter space, towels, good water pressure. Television had plenty of good apps to choose from. Breakfast was pretty good, plenty of options that changed daily. The staff was excellent! Justice (sp?) who worked the front desk, was SO nice. She helped us find things to do outside of Tallahassee, as I wasn't fond of the town AT ALL. But she recommended great things to do elsewhere (anywhere from 30 to 90 or so minutes away) in Florida that we enjoyed. All the staff was awesome and helpful whenever we needed anything. Can't recommend Tallahassee, but I can sure recommend this hotel that will make your trip so much better!

The hotel on the outside is nice. The location is OK. The hotel smelled like mold in the room had a very strong mold smell it was late. Otherwise I would have left and driven home. I woke up in the morning, very congested and my chest hurt.

Building run down. Our room wasn’t the cleanest. Had bugs in the bathroom. Funky smell when we walked in. We were just staying the night because we were on our last leg to home in Punta Gorda. I have been going to Country Inn and Suites for quite a few years. I have noticed a down trend of the different properties I have stayed at.

The property is very dated. There was no hot water in shower, no soap/body wash for shower. One of the towels provided was visibly dirty. The pillows were not comfortable. The most concerning was we encountered a few dead bed bugs in our room.

The staff was nice and helpful. The room was spacious. We did have to request more towels as the ones in the room appeared to be used.

The rate dropped but Choice nor the hotel would adjust the rate for us. A bit disappointed in the pricing. As far as clean and a place to lay your head, its safe and convenient.

The smell of must throughout the property and in the rooms is overwhelming. Stayed for two nights and left with our suitcases / clothes smelling like they were left in a wet ball for a week. It’s overall not the cleanest/kept up but the smell was the worst part. Staff was always kind and attentive but management needs to fix the cleanliness.

Property was old and the improvements to the rooms were like putting lipstick on a pig. There was a lot of noise. Seemed like there was no insulation between rooms or floors. The AC didn’t work well. Desk lamp didn’t work, desk chair was broken so practically sitting on the floor. Will not return.

Now the negatives- The area around the hotel is a little sketchy. To get to the hotel, you have to drive through the parking lot of a motel that has seen better days. As a woman with her daughter, I didn’t feel the safest in that area. When we arrived, the door to our room was propped open. Apparently, it was left open by the cleaning crew but again, didn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy. Our room had no towels. Not one. The front desk very quickly provided some but still, it was an inconvenience. The pillows were incredibly small, they look like couch throw pillows. And the biggest negative was that not a single outlet in the bathroom worked. I tried resetting, plugging in different things but nothing worked. The coffee maker was in the bathroom so if we wanted coffee, we would have had to move it. And we had to use the hair dryer in an outlet by one of the beds. Overall- The staff really were very pleasant to interact with and the hotel was clean. If you are on a budget and need something less pricey, it’s not bad but I will pay more for less inconvenience.

Checked in and went to the room and the room was 83 degrees. Adjusted the thermostat to 60 and the temperature only dropped to 82 in an hour. I called the front desk and the owner came to the room and told me that I couldn’t go below 69 because the unit would freeze up. She set it to 69 and the temperature never went down. Called the front desk again and they told me they would move the to another room. Went to the front desk and the clerk told me they didn’t have any rooms left to move me into. So I was forced to check out and stay and a hotel that was disgusting.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, my stay was terrific! The front desk was welcoming and I had a great conversation with the woman working there. The room was clean, quiet, bed was comfy, bathroom clean. Breakfast offered an array of options and the staff there was constantly refilling the hot breakfast options as well as cleaning/wiping down that area as well as the tables while engaging in conversation and welcoming guests/ensuring all guests had what they needed. Excellent stay for an excellent price and great location for all I needed to have access to on that part of Tallahassee FL!

The staff was nice but the property needs major upgrades to justify the price. The beds are old and lumpy. The pillows are the size of couch pillows. The entire place smelled of marijuana. The hall ways are obviously not kept up and the rooms barely pass as clean.

The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The kids loves the pool even though it was a little small. The only real complaint i have is that people were running up and down the hall around 2am , but that wasn't the hotels fault that was bad parenting. The noise in-between the floors could use a little more sound barrier under the vunal plank flooring as we could hear the people above us every foot step as O am sure the onea below ua heard ours. Lol. But all and all was a good stay nice breakfast and safe area.
