The location is great. The staff was pleasant. Very outdated and the room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. Only one remote for two televisions. We had to get a working remote. The microwave was missing the glass to put your food on and didn’t work properly.

I didn't like that the room wasn't cleaned very well at all and I had to kill a bug crawling across the bed. The bed sank down in the middle which was rough .I also didn't care to pay $---dollars for a $--- outdated room

That the heated pool was cold, the heater broke. The only reason we booked it was for the heated pool, I understand things break but we had disappointed kids

We didn't get a chance to have breakfast. The location was in a good area, minutes from the Florida State Capitol Building. They need to change the mattress on the bed and regular size pillows.

We stayed on the 3rd floor. It smelled very musty and was damp/humid. The room smelled worse and it took a while for the air conditioner to make the room less damp. But the smell was terrible

It was a clean room, but the pullout mattress was in rough shape, it's not usable. We asked for extra bedding and they gave us two sheets and no extra pillows. The breakfast was standard. The shower takes a really long time to heat up.

The room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice staff. Great location. Our fur babies enjoyed the stay too. We'll be back on our next visit to tallahassee

I asked for 1 king bedroom, but received 2 double beds. The room smell bad. The sink was loose.

Room had a smell that reminded me of dirty socks or towels. We were able to use some air freshener to mask it but it kept coming back. The hotel is on Appalachee Parkway and the traffic noise was incredible, not to mention the music that played until about 2am every night. For some reason the bathroom vent acted as a speaker for the music. Room appeared clean (except for the sour smell).

We had a dog during our stay therefore were put in what I can only assume is a “dog room”. I say this because the room smelled terrible - like a wet dog. Like they don’t clean these rooms as thoroughly because another guest with a dog will be occupying it. The pullout bed was filthy; didn’t look like the mattress had been swapped out in years. The bathroom wasn’t clean either. There was literally trash in the floor. The breakfast was subpar. Fried eggs and extremely greasy bacon. The only pro was the staff, who were super kind, and the location. Close to the capital building, shopping and dining options.

The breakfast was great and they kept replenish ing the food.Staff were kind and friendly. The only concern was the age of the hotel.

The staff was very nice and breakfast has good options. The hotel is pretty rundown. Rooms were not clean as well. So much dust and musty carpets.

We didn’t get a chance to have breakfast we had to be at the hospital at 4:00 AM.

Our stay was good. Pool, room, lobby and everything was clean. The staff was nice. The gym is very small but at least it had some weights to get a little pump. The hotel is close to many things in the area, so that was convenient. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind staying there again. Good place for its price.

The room was very good. However, during the stay there was some trash on the elevator floor (including a toothpick which I would not personally pick up). I told 2 maids and tow staff about it. but nothing was done for 24 hours. Then I told a man named Reggie who was cleaning a room. He immediately went to the elevator and picked up the trash. Give that man a raise!

The room was very clean and set up nicely however had a musty smell. We bought febreeze and a plug in however the smell still remained.

Hotel is old and run down a little but the room are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good for this type of hotel.

Honestly, I our stay could not have been better. Congrats to Comfort Suites for the quality of the staff and the property as a whole. We definitely will be returning the next time we're in town.

The entire hotel smelled of marijauna inside lobby, hall way and lobby. No smoking sign posted in lobby entrance. I have asthma and could not tolerate the order. When mentioned to clerk I was asked if I had an inhaler. Inhaler or not I did not want to small that disgusting scent. I had to leave the hotel at midnight and secure accommodation elsewhere. Never again will I stay at this hotel again.

Check in was fast, staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was clean, the room temperature control was very good, and the location was excellent because most things we needed were within walking distance.

Attentive. We arrived back at our hotel room around midnight on both nights and there was no one sitting at the desk. This creates a security breakdown as anyone could just walk into the hotel. Also tried calling the front desk upon arriving to our room and was sent three times to voicemail. They need to train their staff better to be more aware of people entering the hotel and answering the front desk phone when people call or return their call back to their room.

Red Coach bus service to UF and other colleges/college towns literally right outside the parking lot. Mexican restaurants within walking distance on each side and an Olive Garden across the street. Less than 5 minutes to FSU. Lots of other restaurants and shopping within minutes by car. Decent breakfast that was replaced with fresh items right up until the ending time. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. When I went down to the lobby one night to get bedding for the pull out couch, Mae helped me with a big smile and a super friendly manner. Some nights were noisier than others, but that was a clientele issue, not anything due to the hotel location or staff.

My wife and I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate having hot and cold varieties. We will definitely stay in the same hotel when we visit Tallahassee again.

Very nice staff but the place needs some updating

Could be cleaner. Carpet was very dirty…walked with white socks that needed up black. No housekeeping unless requested, and not even happen when requested. No back up toilet paper. Randy at Front desk very nice and helpful.

A solid choice for the Tallahassee area. Easy to find fairly central location, easy check-in. Room layout is very business friendly with a sitting area and a desk set up. The property is a little older and some spots show wear but overall pretty clean and the staff was nice.

Location to restaurants is fantastic. You cannot expect to compare Ritza Carlton to Comfort Suites. It is however reasonable and delivers what you need to stay in the area. Complimentary breakfast is included which can save a large family the cost of having breakfast out.

I really enjoyed my stay, bed clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and common areas are clean.

Room was smelly , need more ventilation or fresh air into the room, staff were very good and kept everything nice and clean, it’s just no fresh air into the room, still a good hotel to stay, feedback is for hotel so that they work in this minor issue

Terrible check in experience. Had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. Hotel lobby was a ghost town. Tried politely calling out to see if anyone was nearby to work the front desk. Tried knocking on doors near the front desk. Tried phoning the front desk. Finally after 15 solid minutes of being stranded in the lobby at the front desk, someone appeared who apologized and said his manager forces him to do laundry when the front desk is quiet and he had no way of knowing there was anyone at the front desk.

I’m going to focus solely on the room we stayed in. It’s an old room that exudes an unpleasant smell and feels damp, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep in.

The pool was extremely hot all weekend. Management confirmed and apologized for the boiling water. We were not able to enjoy the pool all weekend.

First of all when we checked in, they gave us the wrong room. It is not what I picked out or reserved. I reported it downstairs. They changed the room and they still did not give me what I reserved at this point. I was just tired and we just kept the room Because it was not the room that we reserved. We had to do some rearranging and the room was very dirty. If you ask me that’s in the hotels. The covers are really tight and straighten on one bed. I would not be surprised if they just pulled the covers up. It was all wrinkly And it wasn’t made hotel status. Shower did not drain very well. It was almost like you’re standing in standing water unless you stand all the way to the back of the shower. You can see down inside the drain and you can see just how filthy it was Some of the towels had brown stains on them even though they were clean. There was no courtesy soap I’m sorry there was some little small pieces of soap there. The ice machine was just totally disgusting. When I say disgusting. It was disgusting and back to the room the pillows They look like they were felt like they were pills from Walmart and like they were the cheapest pillows you could have gotten from Walmart. I mean it was ridiculous. I just filled the room wasn’t as clean almost like they just did a spot check and left the breakfast that was servedwas just mediocre. Honestly, don’t think I would stay in a choice hotel again you get what you pay for and I don’t even think I got what I paid for.

Housekeeping is on-request and they didn't service my room after requesting. Carpet needed steam cleaning. I'll stay again to visit relatives in the area.

This is an older property so you can see some of the wear and tear in the room, as well as on the worn carpet. But overall was a good room and breakfast buffet options were really good. Would visit again.

The Gentleman in the older lady at the front desk were very warm Helpful and knowledgeable check in and check out hosts. The younger ladies on staff weren't as warm or accommodating. No need to be in hi dudgeon over A late checkout inquiry. But that's the only negative thing I can say, overall a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Sorry that you seem to allow your staff to have to put up with vagrants that stop in for breakfast and make this exposure uncomfortable for guests...

The girls at front desk during the day and at night were worthless. The one hangs out in her car and comes in to check you in, the night girl wouldn’t answer phone 5x so I walked down to lobby and she was sleeping behind the wall I think. Anyways she did not know what the checkout policies were. At all. Worthless. Room was ok, quiet from highway noise outside. Dark and cold and clean. No bedbugs.

It’s very dated! We stayed for one night following an event at the civic center. It’s clean enough to stay but has a lot to be desired. The showers had mildew, there was a musty smell. It’s a “suite” but very tiny. I would not stay here again, but considering the price, it was fine for one night.

Everything was average until we woke up and thw room smelled horrible. Not sure what it was... musty maybe? It was strong. Breakfast was average but there wasn't any flavored creamer for coffee and thwy ran out of forks and bacon. Bed was a bit stiff, but the room was clean.

Staff at check wasn’t very cordial. Room had a musky Oder and couch had a tear in it.

Room was comfortable but smelled musty and carpet didn't feel clean. Bed was comfortable but pillows are too soft. Bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice. Trash at the pet waste station was piled up and not picked up the entire time we were there.

Your common areas could be much cleaner your elevators had dirt in the crevice from Friday until Sunday. When I left. It seems like it’s normal practice. If you just look in the corners of all your hallway, sure bathrooms, and the elevated you will see so much built-up dirt in the corners. And I find it very strange that the lady that does the breakfast is also the cleaning lady, so I see you doing breakfast and then I see you with the mop it’s a complete turn off. We didn’t even get an opportunity to have breakfast because it just didn’t settle well with our stomachs

Hotel was perfect accommodation for a couple of nights.

The clerk at the front desk, Rachel, was unbelievably rude. A large section around the university was blocked off so our GPS did not work and we had an extremely difficult time reaching the hotel. She did not have any idea what was happening. When we were trying to explain she said, "don't you have a phone, what kind of phone do you have, why didn't you use it." After we left that subject with her continuing with her attitude (I had called the hotel 3 different times with no answer), my husband asked if we come in late what door should we come through. Rachel pointed at the front door. Needless to say our interaction with her went down hill from there. When we arrived in our room we discovered there was no remote for the TV and the safe was locked. Do you think we called Rachel for assistance? We had stayed there before. But never again. The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was nice and apologetic.

It would have been fine but the King bed was uncomfortable and gave me a backache. I was relieved to check out.

Our room (109) the door did not lock properly. We slept with a chair in front of it to feel safer. The side building entrance also did not lock. Anyone could enter the building without a key card. The young woman who checked me in was also very timid and quiet. I could barely hear her when she was speaking to me. Breakfast was good though.

The property was ok per the location,you had to request for housekeeping. Unfortunately when I requested for my room to be clean I was told that you had to be there a minimum of 2 nights. so.my room wasn't cleaned at all and the attendant that was in duty lied about the housekeeping procedures.There was also a.moldy smell in the room..When I checked in I noticed a customer leaving because of the moldy smell. I paid 599.00 per night because they jacked the room.price up because of the games that were held on this particular weekend. It was very unsanitary not to be able to have your room cleaned. I had to buy my own cleaning products, I was very dissatisfied..

I would recommend the following: 1. Breakfast attendant should have tip jar to provide the value she brings to the daily "morning wake up". 2. Guest room toilet paper roll should be mounted on the die of the sink vanity to ease the need to turn around to get toilet paper. 3. Provide working lobby computer and printer with internet access. Thank you again. Nanc ** On a side note specific to the corridor guest room carpet; replace pattern that allows one to walk in a less than appropriate straight line to your room or to lobby. You could replace with alternating carpet and "hardwood" providing easier identification to room location.

The lady at the counter was very unattentive. The entire place smelled like mariguana it was gross. So unprofessional. The last disappeared as soon as she checked us in.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it relates to my daily commute during my stay. The breakfast selection(s) were top tier. The staff were kind and professional. The cleanliness of the hotel was a plus as well. I recommend staying at the Comfort Suites. If in ha to rate my stay and experience at the Comfort Suites in Tallahassee, FL; I would give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Ashlee was fantastic. My son and I came to town for the Clemson Florida State football game. The Front Desk staff was attentive to our every need, the room and facilities were very clean, the continental breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

This hotel has a nice location near campus, and our room had a fold-out couch. BUT... when we checked in late on a Friday night, our first TWO sets of room keys didn't work (requiring multiple round-trips to the front desk), and there was no hot water. Then both Friday & Saturday nights, a nearby dance club was playing VERY loud music until 2:00am. The drapes were too short, so the street lights and morning sun glared in through our window. Early Sunday morning, we woke to a group of people (cleaning staff?) laughing and shouting in the hallway. The beds & pillows were lumpy, so we didn't stand much chance of getting a good sleep anyway, but isn't that pretty-much the point of a hotel?

The shower water flow was horrible.

The hotel was dark, dirty, stuffy, and musty. The bedding had stains and the aura was just uncomfortable. The staff is disorganized and are mentally hard at comprehending. We only booked here in a rush to evacuate a storm but we would never ever stay here again and we would never recommend anyone staying here either.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is fine too. The room was spacious. 2 of us thought beds were very uncomfortable and 2 of us thought they were fine. Breakfast station has a waffle maker, which is usually a hit with everyone. The rest of breakfast is cereal, yogurt, toast, eggs formed into perfect circles, bacon one day, sausage the next, and biscuits with gravy. There were other small things but that’s most of it. I’m trying a different hotel next time but I'd stay here again.
