The room was clean, cold and the microwave/fridge was wonderfully useful. I am ashamed of some of the folks thar left negative reviews on Google and otherwise. The only negative thing I would mention is thar the pool was quite small since the photos showed the pool being larger but it was still enjoyable and the stay was fantastic. Thank you.

The people were really hospitable.. the room was clean, spacious and comfortable it’s close to a lot of places.. so it’s a pretty cool place to stay.. the pool though, I was there three days, it rained (no tarp) and no one cleaned the pool.. not once that was disappointing..the stay was average, didn’t blow me away, but all in all, it served its purpose and I feel like it was money well spent

Bed has flea’s contacting front desk the man was real rude and disrespectful did not wanna help kept saying “you people” when I asked to switch rooms he said he can’t authorize that when I ask to speak with a manager he said you people always want a manager he’s not contacting his manager because they never had complaints before as if he wanted us to chase the flea and catch it to bring you him to see it I asked for my money back he didn’t want to give me that back as well so we left I was not staying in a bed with fleas I will file a complaint

Beds were comfortable. Met basic needs. 3 bottles of conditioner 0 bottles of shampoo. Needed to be cleaned better and sticky stains were on the floor. The shower faucet was about to come out of the wall. The shower water was lukewarm at best. Not enough towels, only 2 and we were told we could come to the front desk for 2 more. There were small bugs (fruit flies, gnats or fleas) coming out of the toilet and sink. Paid extra for a late checkout and housecleaning came first thing in the morning.

Not a good area of town. Sketchy people hanging around outside late through the night. Rundown vehicles in parking lot.

We were from Thursday to Sunday and never clean the bedroom. We asked for clean Towels because they don’t change it.

The room didn’t feel clean, broken floor lamp leaning in a corner that wouldn’t turn on, faucet leaked all over the counter, bathtub nozzle very loose and expected it to fall off. Staff was nice though and breakfast was ok.

Parking was fine, breakfast fine, room was clean but the Parking lot was nasty. Trash was all around. When I parked my car a used condom was on the ground eaten food someone had just thrown there.

I was told the day before our reservation that we made several weeks prior they overbooked the original room we had requested. Instead of the two queen beds, we were given a king bed with a sofa bed. After checking in and going up to our room, we found out that the room did not have a sofa bed. We went back downstairs to request another room because we needed two beds. They gave us another with a sofa bed. After settling in, I hooked up my streaming device to the tv and found a half eaten pizza, a restaurant to go box and a rolled up, partially smoked joint. The pull out sofa bed had a sheet already on it with food crumbs all over it. The bathroom wasn’t any better. In the corner by the tub there was pubic looking hair. The baseboard of the bed was filthy, as well. They gave us a discount of $55 off of our over $300 total. Not much of a breakfast either, but I would’ve been fine with that if the rest of our stay was pleasant. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of everything we experienced in the room.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was not great, and even though the room was really clean, there was some residual smell from smoke. The shower ran cold, but I was informed that you had to switch it to the cold section to get hot water, this was information I got too late and they could do with fixing the plumbing for future guests. The fitness room was good- a very nice treadmill, bike, and elliptical. The dining area was really nice too. The location was relatively convenient for FSU campus.

Late arrival but i received a warm greeting upon arrival. The room was clean. The bedding is fresh and I slept well. Great location! I spent less than 12 hours there so it served our purpose as a place to lay our heads however i found live german roaches in the drawers.

$50 charge at check in that you will have to call to get your money back. Hotels have been doing this lately.. Just what I need.. The hassle of making calls to get my money back when they should refund it at check out.

Nice clean rooms and property

Parking was pretty easy and many to pick from. Breakfast could've been a little better by adding some eggs and sausage.

The hotel has a laundry room (coins) $2 per load at the time of this review. Lobby, room, bathroom cleaned however I think the housekeeping forgot to take garage out. It was still in the room. The staff was very friendly! There is a Waffle House next to it. We opted for Waffle House instead than hotel breakfast. Saw a few characters staying here. You get what you pay for, if you ask me, above expectations for the price. For us it was a quick overnight stop, this was ideal.

My room did not have hot water, the toilet did not work, towels had stains on them, bathroom floor didn’t look like it had ever been cleaned, and we had roaches. If that wasn’t enough, when I booked my rooms I was confirmed at $85.00 a night when I arrived the price was $204.00 per night. The manager was rude, I tried to show him my confirmation several times but he refused to change the price. I was stuck with this dump because we were there on a High School Wrestling tournament and the Savahna Bananas was in town so all the Hotel in the area was sold out. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Room had a bad odor. Hotel was full or I would have asked for a different room. Tub faucet was loose coming out of the wall and did not work well, only got 1/2 pressure as the tub faucet would not close off and force the water up to the shower head. I had 2 rooms, other room had no hot water. Beds were comfortable and clean. Towels were well worn and dingy. Place looked great from the outside with a new paint job. Wish they would fix the stuff in the rooms too.

Room clean everything was perfect love my stay 100% of the time. Quite environment new amenities are a plus. Room looks beautiful.

Dirty sheets. Asked for new ones and they too were stained. Bugs in the bathroom. Had three guests for a 3 night stay. We had 2 towels and no shampoo or conditioner when we arrived. Went to the office to get shampoo and conditioner. Had to convince the desk I wasn’t asking for additional, WE DIDNT HAVE ANY! He gave me a handful of soap bars and 2 tiny squeeze tubes. When i got back to my room realized there were both shampoo. When back and told him they didn’t give me any conditioner. Desk clerk said “ oh we don’t have conditioner”. First night the room next to us had a party in the middle of the night. Second night a car sat in the parking lot blaring music for over and Hour. I have no idea how they got a high customer rating.

It was fine. I would have liked more for breakfast. It was bread only. No eggs, meat or potatoes. The road is very noisy. I did feel safe and the room was clean and comfortable. I probably will not return

I stayed at this property last week and was very disappointed with nearly every aspect of the experience. The room itself did not feel clean: the floor was visibly dirty, and the A/C filter was extremely filthy, which made me question how well the room was being maintained overall. There was also a constant humming noise coming from the bathroom area that never stopped, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The complimentary continental breakfast was also underwhelming. The coffee was easily the worst I’ve ever had at a hotel — it was a thick black liquid that smelled like burned tar and was completely undrinkable. Even simple items like bananas were past their prime and already brown, which again raised concerns about basic standards. The location added to the discomfort. The surrounding area is filled with abandoned hotels and did not feel safe to walk around after dark, which is not what you want when you’re traveling and hoping for a peaceful place to stay. To top it off, the hotel placed a $50 incidental charge on my credit card and never credited it back after checkout. Having to chase down a basic refund for incidentals is frustrating, especially after an already poor stay. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. Between the cleanliness issues, noise, low-quality breakfast, unsafe-feeling surroundings, and unresolved incidental charge, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

He remained on his call throughout the check in only speaking English to ask for my id and give me the room number. Located close to the interstate but far enough not to have traffic noise. The smell of stale cigarette smoke is terrible in the hallways and it seeps into the rooms. The person who works there is friendly. Blankets very dirty.

Worth the money

The hotel was under construction, and it was not advertised, nor explained to me as the customer at check in. I could have denied the stay and searched for another hotel. Whereby, I would have enjoyed the full use of the hotel property without noise; blaring power tools, & paint fumes during my stay!!

Thanksgiving weekend I stayed at the baymont hotel in Henderson nc it was a fantastic stay, so when my travels led me to Tallahassee Florida I went directly to a establishment that I was familiar with thus Baymont of Tallahassee Florida, sight unseen, MISTAKE ! This is not a hotel, but a motel ! On a scale from 1 to 10, where 10 is best, this place is a 5, at best , it was the name that lured me, i didnt feel safe, the floor in the room was gritty, no i will not be back !

This location is under construction, outside hallways have debris and room numbers are inconsistent. My room seemed like the door was kicked in and with loitering in the parking lot had me reconsider staying. For the price they are asking for their rooms you’re better off at another location.

The room given was horrible and a SMOKING ROOM. I didn’t know hotels still offer smoking rooms, horrible. The smell in the room was pretty bad and was barely able to sleep. The bathtub and bathroom was super old and in need of change. Bad experience overall. Hotel is in bad shape.

Cons: toiletries offered were bare minimum. When we ran out of toilet paper and requested another roll, the hotel said they have no more toilet paper. To have to worry about whether or not I’m going to have enough tp to wipe my bum reminded me of COVID days.

Arrived at night at the hotel so when we turned on light in the room the first who welcomed us was a cockroach, which was crawling on top of the bed comforter. Toilet seemed like cleaners just sprayed disinfecting spray on the seat but don’t clean inside toilet very gross. Definitely that’s what you get for not looking at other reviews before booking. And overpriced for one night $150

Staff was courteous. Bathroom needs updating. Grounds look like they need attention. Bed was comfortable. No coffee maker in the room.

There was remodeling going on but it didn't wake me up too early. New mattress in room was really comfortable. I got a room in the back and it was quiet. Just don't expect much in the way of breakfast. Got a tiny muffin and a glass of OJ.

Staff was nice enough. Shower had no hot water. Air conditioner fan sounded like it had a roll of quarters emptied into it. Room had a musky smell to it. Honestly, it was better than I expected for one of the cheapest hotels in town during the FSU vs VT game. It served its purpose, a place to sleep, but I doubt I’ll do it again.

Checkin was decent. I had a hard time finding the room with minimal help no maps or directions on where like the ice machines or anything like that. The motel is under a lot of renovation so I’m sure it will be nice when it’s done, but it’s definitely a construction zone around here right now.

I went to this place because my son had a soccer game. I saw some negative reviews, but I booked it anyway. It's an excellent place to stay, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is excellent, and the customer service is excellent. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I would definitely stay here again whenever I return to Tallahassee.

My pillows had stains all over them, the tub was nasty, the room was nothing like the advertisement, the breakfast was a joke, the muffins were stale. The beds were uncomfortable, the parking was horrible. It was not a pleasant hotel stay.

The room was clean, but the bathtub was old with many small cracks. However, the exterior was awful! There were 2 mattresses and 2 boxsprings lying in the grassy area, construction materials and trash lying around the edge of the parking lot, and the door to our room looked like 3 holes had been patched and paint primer put on top. It was somewhat scarey and very unpleasant to step outside and see the trash each time we went out. Three stars simply because it was clean.

No hot water for morning shower, manager said he'd look into it. Run down part of town, Construction/renovations going on, Exterior condition of the facility was very poor. Debris everywhere, construction dumpster there partially filled. Breakfast should not have been offered, coffee was terrible. If you can't do it right, don't bother. Went to fast food for breakfast. Multiple pre-check in emails, form did not accept information, photos,etc. Could not check in prior to arrival. I was surprised that Wyndham was associated with this property. Should not be open and offering rooms to rent until construction is completed. Overpriced for the experience.

The hotel was in complete DIY renovations inside and out! Rooms were not clean, we could not take a shower due to the tub surface being all chipped up and unsafe to even stand in and it was coved up in spray paint. The sheets were stained, the TV was covered in finger prints and looks like it has not been cleaned off in months.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in for the $296 per night that I paid. The brown and red stains on the bathroom walls, the broken door knob, dented door, and the rusted lamps left us wondering what had transpired in this room previously! Needless to say we will never stay at a Baymont property again!

This property had no water. I couldn't use the bathroom or wash my hands. I was not told at booking nor was I offered any compensation. My door did not have any weather stripping and even though the room AC worked well all the humidity came in through the door. It was awful. All the light and noise came in as well. The room itself was clean but the sink and shower were crusty and gross. The area around the hotel was full of trash and litter.

Beyond the plumbing and attitude issue the room also smelled extremely musty and smoky despite being a non-smoking room. We also found a cockroach in the morning walking around on the bed. The hotel was very dilapidated and unkept.

The manager was friendly and awesome. He changed my room to a newly renovated room without charging me.

So they illegally requested an extra deposit, then argued about the legality of their requests, then took our money and kicked us out. So I am $100 loss from them. But trust me, I’m going after them. Hard. Veterans will stop at nothing to hold people accountable.

Ghetto and drug infested

I was told they were remodeling, but a toilet with the wrong lid tells me cheap cheap cheap. A little care goes a long way.

- No towels, toothbrush or hair dryer in room - The sink was stuck, called many times & took over the next day to fix - The room was terribly mold & stink - The floor carpet was wet - Balcony smelted urine & tobaco It was really really terrible place. Never recommend to anybody

The room furnished in mixed mathed furnishings, kitchenette , the into the sleeping area king bed, odd nook with a jacuzzi tub, and standard bathroom sink/toilet, tub-shwr. What they forgot to mention, yiur carpet will feel mildew, humidity at 95%, and a full bucket of water from the himidifier. I had to drain it 3 times before bed. I demand refund for my stay!! Im glad i didnt catch pneumonia or something else.
