Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff, but there are consistent complaints about the location, noise levels, and breakfast quality.
- Clean rooms
- Friendly staff
- Poor location with safety concerns
- Noise disturbances from highway and surrounding area

Housekeepers and Personnell!

Very clean. No conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. Lots of police activity in the area. Didn’t do the breakfast. It ended too soon.
- 5/5
I had a good rest.
- 4/5
We wish the coffe was available before 430am and wish the restaurant was opened more days
- 4/5
Breakfast was a bit lacking. The only protein was cold hard boiled eggs. Some warm scrambled eggs, suitor bacon would have been nice.

Staff were pleasant.

Hotel was good, area around it a little rough.
- 4/5
A pleasant hotel that seems out of the way but has easy access to dining, attractions, and shopping.
- 2/5
Let me start off by saying it takes a LOT for me to write a bad review. The photos of this hotel are VERY deceiving. It is right by a huge casino which has lots of random people all around the surrounding area. It did not feel safe. There was even a mobile camera unit from a police department in the parking lot. Once we got inside the hotel, it felt safer since there was an armed guard on duty throughout the night. Our room smelled like dirty feet as soon as we walked in. We discovered that it was the carpet that smelled so bad. We also had a bullet hole in our window on the 5th floor! It might have been from a pellet gun but I have photos. The bed was surprisingly comfortable despite the mattress pad under the sheet being a size too small so it was just on top of the mattress instead of fitted around the corners. The breakfast was less than appealing. We are not super picky with hotel breakfasts. Give us some scrambled eggs & a waffle or fruit & we're good. They had biscuits & gravy but were out of biscuits. They only had hard boiled eggs & yogurt- not a fruit in site. Overall, we were super disappointed in just about everything with this stay.
- 5/5
It was very nice they were workable because my reservation was all screwed up and they made it work and didn't overcharge me I like the room I like the buffet and I love the gym and they had laundry Can't think of anything
- 1.5/5
Front Desk Staff was helpful Close to event I needed to go to Continental breakfast had few protein options Location by freeway - loud noise Hot tub had brown water Light fixtures in bathroom was discolored Ceiling was discolored and old Mini fridge turned off with light switch Old alarm clock went off every day and then off switch wouldn’t work
- 3.5/5
Lighting in room was dark and tv was small with few channels.
- 1/5
My flight was delayed. I contacted the property to notify them that I would not arrive until 1/2am. I was told a note would be made on my account and check-in at the desk. When I arrived to check-in, I informed the woman that there is a note on my account that I would be late to check-in. They woman asked me 5 times what time did I check-in. Then she couldn’t find my reservation. When she found it, she claimed no notes were on the reservation. It took 20 mins just to get through check-in. That same morning I came downstairs and asked for house keeping to come clean the hotel room. I was told they would. I came back later that day. Housekeeping never came. Everyday I was there I asked for them to come clean the room and they did not. The hallways on the floor we were on smelled like poop the entire time of the stay. I’m complained about the smell. I was told someone would look into it. Nothing was done. I would never stay here again.
- 1.5/5
Pool and breakfast were nice Property was overbooked Ended up in a room with a broken fan and no remotes for TV They had no extra pillows and blankets due to how busy Only 1 staff at the desk and when asked to speak to a manager was told they dont work weekends
- 3.5/5
For the price, the breakfast could have been a little more substantial.

Good service. Let me in early.. quiet on the floor I was in swapped towels when asked. They served their purpose.. will go back again if needed.
- 5/5
room was clean staff was helpful
- 4/5
Not much to complain about. Helpful staff, clean, great location. The room was nice and comfortable. Overall, it was a little dated, but great value.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, free parking, friendly and professional staff.
- 3/5
Dated property and the Expedia website picture of the room are totally different from what the actual is
- 3/5
The location is great, and the hotel is predictable for how old it is. I think they need some refreshing and updates to this location badly. Our room smelled stale and musty, like you get with older locations.
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 3/5
Parking was fine. Breakfast was alright? Did not like the idea that it's not told that the hot tub is not available at this time. As that's part of the reason I picked this place. Definitely old.But it was okay, no bed bugs.I chapped.
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast
- 3/5
Just alright for us. Bed was super hard and uncomfortable.
- 3/5
I was there for 5 nights and the staff was great but they don't freshen your room so I had dirty towels and trash on the floor and I had to ask for clean towwls
- 3/5
ware and cheapest paper plates. There was NO breakfast meat— no bacon or sausage. There wasn’t even any powdered eggs! You could make a waffle, or pour meatless gravy over cold biscuits.
- 4/5
Nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
It’s clean & breakfast was good
- 4/5
Did not recommend this hotel to anyone for that price.
- 5/5
La piscina no está funcionando
- 5/5
The room was SPOTLESS, and I am a picky B. The real gem here is the staff. So nice, welcoming, professional! Lorraine was a standout! She was wonderful!
- 4/5
Room was clean and Staff are helpful. The location is kind bad area now.
- 5/5
Yes loved the breakfast
- 5/5
Ample parking with no problems
- 5/5
Everything looks good
- 1/5
She was raised to hate minorities. She has no respect for herself, nor for the company she represent and none for clients. She and the security officer, on duty that night, are the worse employees I've ever seen in my live.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful
- 3/5
Also when checking in they declined to honour our government-issued tax exemption card (for diplomats) that is widely accepted citing some vague explanation as to why they could not.
- 4/5
Nice clean room, friendly staff, quick check in and out, easy access to convention center, easy and free parking, and breakfast was good. We had dinner in the restaurant as well, which was great.
- 2/5
The room had definite wear from scratched walls to ight switches that seemed to be 20-30 years old. The last morning had a large bug crawling on the floor in the bathroom. Pillows are like rocks.
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 4/5
Spacious room and bath, outdated bathroom appliances and tub. Cannot plug the bathtub so I can take a bath. Outlets are scarce in the room. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
love staying here! Great staff clean rooms!
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Clean room, decent price
- 4/5
This hotel is pretty nice. It’s definitely in a very weird location. Definitely not the most safest, but the property itself is pretty decently maintained just in a very bad neighborhood.
- 5/5
Staff were exceptionally friendly. Walk to the Tacoma was short, but a little sketchy. The property itself is very nice. Breakfast was pretty good, but tricky for a celiac (not impossible). Beds were very comfortable.
- 4/5
Room was very spacious and even had a microwave. Everything was clean, and staff was friendly. Basic breakfast, but it was included, so no complaints . The only negative was the noise from the freeway. Make sure to bring earplugs!
- 5/5
There was ample parking, friendly staff, clean room, spacious room
- 4/5
The complimentary breakfast is a good addition, but it’s the same everyday. If you don’t make your reservation directly to La Quinta (I made mine with Hotels.com), you will not receive any Wyndham rewards - which is ridiculous!
- 4/5
Good and convenient place for rest and easy access to the freeway. Big, spacious and clean for parking, lobby and room. Checking staff was nice and very friendly. She suggested where to go for dinner and drink around the area. They do sell a handful of snacks, drinks plus cup of noodle. Breakfast is included but it was basic so don’t expect much of it. Overall, good stayed with good service.
- 3/5
Then when unpacking I found a bag of garbage tied up in the closet. Did like the refrigerator and microwave in the room and they had added breakfast since the last time we stayed there. Would like to have more protein options but it was nice to be able to grab something on the way out.
- 5/5
Had a great stay! Definitely will be back
- 4/5
Everything was great, the building was a little bit old, and it is in a rougher part of town...
- 3/5
Pets are welcome. Old hotel w/ newer furniture and paint (lipstick on a pig). Ice machine was broken, elevator lobby chair had ugly stains on it on the 3rd floor. I had to reboot their internet connections three times to the washing machines/dryers, which were $4.00 per load to wash & dry, after purchasing $2.00 soap & $2.00 dryer sheets. Front desk staff was often missing from the front desk & I had to go locate them outside chatting or in the restaurant kitchen chatting when I needed things. Lobby bathroom was a joke! All but one toilet was out of order & all soap dispensers were empty! 24 hour security guard in the parking lot because the location is THAT shady. SUPER bright fluorescent hallway lights shining through the door crack and under it all night long. Third floor view of I-5 w/ all the noise because the windows are from the 70s or 80s. Someone's long, dark hair was stuck to the bathroom ceiling. Breakfast was very basic & the exact same every day: store bought muffins, yogurt, oranges, packaged instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs. Very thuggish area to be completely honest. Do not recommend!
- 4/5
Hotel, staff, room where all within expectations. Breakfast was adequate, though shoutout for the OJ not the water down stuff like everywhere else!!! Location well...let's be honest downtown Tacoma, (though close to the dome!) They had one of those video security things in the parking lot with the flashing lights, so I parked close to it. I also noticed a security guard sitting in the lobby at breakfast time, though he was on his phone so... If it came up in the app I would be willing to stay again. Just look rough from the outside.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast room was wonderful
- 5/5
Only an over night stay but the room was clean and quiet
- 3/5
No hot breakfast, just hot oatmeal-pretty basic basic breakfast. Yogurt had mold-it is what it is. Tacoma isn't the safest city, but this place had plenty of cameras and gated parking. Hallways and carpet look pretty old and beat up. Elevators occasionally smell like marijay which is annoying for my allergies. People tend to have their TVs super loud and the sound goes through the thin walls.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 5/5
This is my 3rd time ataying here. I will be back when i need a hotel in the area.i love the restaurant it had.
- 5/5
Yes! Very friendly!
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 4/5
It was very bad weather, big line of people at front desk and only one clerk. It took very long time for us to check-in.
- 3/5
Crystal was great. She got a new remote for me as the volume didn't work on the other one. She tried to help me cast my phone to the tv, but it didn't work. The room was clean, the bathroom had a towel rack that wasn't on the wall right and seemed a little unstable. The curtain rod was broke, but still functioning. The breakfast could have been better. I wish they had bacon, sausage and eggs.
- 2/5
The room had absolutely no hot water
- 4/5
There was no spa,and even though I understand it's winter months,I still think that the jacuzzi should be available. You could always put a nice gazebo around it with chairs and an outdoor heater(tent heater). It would have been so nice at the end of my journey to sit in a nice hot jacuzzi, might not have ever left! So just an idea?
- 4/5
Staff was awesome. Location was where I needed it to be. Heater didn’t work and the bathroom door sticks. But I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, friendly staff
- 3/5
The overall hotel and staff was good. The only things I could complain about is the lack of pug in for phone chargers on the nightstands. The hot water took a couple of minutes to reach the bathroom faucets. The internet Wi-Fi was a little spotty this trip. Previous trips didn't have that issue. complain
- 1/5
Not what we wanted at all. It is a live in hotel
- 5/5
Nice large clean room. Friendly staff. Very good place to stay, the only disappointment was the breakfast bar. I have never had worse biscuits and gravy. Also, scrambled eggs at least would be a big improvement.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and great customer service.
- 4/5
Yes, staffing very polite
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff!
- 2/5
Staff is fine and the premises were great, but my room makes it so I do not want to return. Sorry.
- 4/5
Staff was nice. My room need some renovation. Out dated for sure.
- 4/5
good mattress for sleep
- 5/5
It was very clean, professional and had everything it promised.
- 3/5
The staff was great and friendly.
- 3/5
Staff is what keeps that’s place running A few well used features that need a quick update
- 3/5
Funky smell in room and standing water in the shower
- 3/5
We founded the bed no cleaned!! We founded ha
- 5/5
Place is one of the best in area.
- 3/5
This is the second time I’ve been there and the hotel is fine, but the staff is always just so rude. Check in process is just glacial. By the time the woman came out to help me check in. She said it’s going to take a while because I have to process payment. I’m not sure what that meant. The booking was fully paid earlier, and I offered her a credit card to have on file for expenses.. but she was right it took a while
- 3/5
The facility was clean, we were treated well but just know I-5 faces the front and a big industrial area is behind it. The pool and hot tub are outside and unusable in winter months
- 4/5
good room,clean cr 👍
- 5/5
Was a really a nice stay
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The room needed several improvements. The bed mattresses were worn & squeaky. The electrical outlets were hanging off the wall by the coffee machine. The room needed a deeper cleaning. The hotel needed a spring cleaning.
- 1/5
Had to leave so dirty in the room staff was good refunded my next two days took pics of built up dirt and hotel was masking smell with strong cleaner you could taste
- 5/5
See previous review
- 5/5
Room is spacious and nicely decorated. Staff friendly and laundry facilities for a great price
- 5/5
Wonderful people
- 1/5
There were roaches in the room and the bed sheets had stains on it.
- 2/5
No shampoo and conditioner
- 5/5
Room was clean and stay was as expected. Nice place!
- 1/5
Hi, I'm leaving this terrible review because I tried to contact the hotel that same evening to inform them that I needed to cancel my room, but no one answered. I contacted Expedia and your online service, and you also tried to reach the hotel, without success. As a result, I was charged for a hotel night that I didn't use. ( I have pictures of my conversation with you guys )
- 5/5
Clean room and price was good
- 3/5
Not so good part of town. Iwas in a deep sleep and then the fire alarm goes off
- 4/5
Unfortunately the heater was noisy, as was the freeway noise that was incessant all night long.
- 4/5
The reason?????? The BLOODY FEMININE HYGIENE PAD outside the front doors! I was polite when i told the front desk about seeing it. She acted horrified ( just as i was) i even offered to clean it up if she had a plastic bag and gloves. She said no, that she would handle it. By check out at 11 am the bloody pad was still outside the front door and she was NOT BUSY. BESIDES IT BEING A HAZARDOUS MATERIAL, it was just nauseating to have to keep walking by it. It would have taken a minute maybe 2 to clean up. Hours? And nothing? That is unacceptable.
- 1/5
Same menu for all three days. Only warm items were biscuits and gravy and waffles. Was told they only give one oatmeal packet not 2.
- 2/5
They refused to clean my room on day 3 only offered to give us clean towels. Lobby was cold and staff wore heavy coats. Homeless all around us. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
- 1/5
They didn’t mention anywhere on the booking page or website that you had to be 21 to check in until after I paid 95 dollars they then did not refund me and kept my 95 bucks after not allowing me to stay
- 4/5
That was an older hotel. It was clean. Not much to do if you’re walking in this area.
- 4/5
Scrambled eggs also would be good.
- 1/5
Restaurants closed had to drive 5 miles pouring rain find a place homeless encampment across the street No menu in room when asked was told it's ok they are closed anywaysit's
- 5/5
Everything I needed for a last-minute stay. Staff was great.
- 2/5
The room itself was cleaned, roomy, it had two person sofa so that was nice
- 5/5
No fresh breakfast available. "Bag breakfast only" I chose La Quinta for the Continental breakfast as well as I could have stayed at the EQC hotel.
- 2/5
I wasn't able to canclel my reservations so I paid for a hotel room I never stepped foot in
- 5/5
Clean rooms, reasonable price, and for us a convenient location.
- 2/5
The heater started to smell like it was burning. The smell got so bad we had to leave at four in the morning when I told the opposite attendant nothing was done as like offering another room or a discount or anything. I’m sure it wasn’t their fault. They were very polite and gave us breakfast as it was grabbed and go even though we were early, which was very nice. I’m sure it is hotel policy. But I just found that very disturbing especially when they take a deposit plus the room is 150 bucks. The idea is great, but honestly, there’s other cheaper options.
- 5/5
Cass at the front desk remembered me from when I stayed there 2 years prior! She takes good care of guests and her staff. Great stay.
- 2/5
The staff was Awesome!! except for morning a little offish. Should be one star I had 1 coffee that I could not open tried a knife that punsured the filter so no coffee. No soap of any kind well a couple wipes at the sink. I am Handicapped and can't walk very well after a long night out. So I guess I should have walked to get some. So I guess all that money is the bed only! Won't go back Lots of money for NOTHING I WILL SLEEP IN MY CAR BEFORE THERE AGAIN.
- 1/5
Room window was loose and broken letting wind come in and made loud noise. Toilet did work correctly and shower water was rusty and yellow dirty color.
- 4/5
Stays was fine.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, great bartenders, clean room and reasonably priced
- 3/5
Room is showing it's age. Tub controls broken.
- 1/5
Waited over 20 minutes at check in for the front desk person to help the guy in front of me, then she let some other guy cut in front of me to buy Ramen noodles. Clown show.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
extremely long check in time, hotels.com listed a hot tub but it was only seasonal, no vegetarian food in the restaurant, someone yelling in the hallway in the middle of the night leaving blood on the wall and in the elevator, thin walls
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff extremely courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Clean and quite
- 4/5
It was pretty nice quiet clean . Just maybe some meat for breakfast bacon sausages cornbeef hash .over all very nice place.
- 4/5
The beds are comfortable. Too much internal machinery or water noise.
- 3/5
The room wasn’t as clean as we expected, the breakfast was subpar and not fresh. Although, the front desk staff were very kind, efficient, and helpful. We enjoyed our one night stay, but will not be returning.
- 3/5
I room was very loud due o the freeway. My suggestion would be to up grade windows or let customers know that the room they will be staying in will be towards the freeway. We did not get much sleep due to this noise. One thing that I would rate low on is as soon I turned on the shower dirty brown water came out! It was very disgusting and I was standing in the shower.I did go grab my cell phone to take a video. If a room has not been used for a while maybe management should have maintenance go around and run all water faucet to make sure all pipes are cleared out. I did let the gale at the front desk know that I was not happy about that, she didn't have much to say?
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Clean room
- 3/5
Room was clean but no service for a week. Breakfast had nothing I could eat. It was biscuits and gravy or waffles. They did have hard boiled eggs but for breakfast? I asked if they ever had scrambled eggs or meat and they said no
- 2/5
Did not eat the breakfast. The water for the bath was brown. No hot water in the morning.
- 4/5
Staff was cery helpful when i requestesd to change my room do to looking at a satellite dish outside my window
- 5/5
Pool, room, everywhere was really neat and clean. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Staff… well, they were all exceptional!
- 5/5
Nice staff. Clean room. Love how the doors and locked at night. Love how there is a Security guards present throughout the night. Breakfast was good but not enough variety. Please add breakfast sausage and breakfast potatoes.
- 3/5
Freeway noise and transients provide for safety concern within the surrounding area. Price is a little high for the neighborhood, which has limited amenities.
- 3/5
The stay was ok wish the breakfast had protein
- 3/5
After going online to get a cheaper price, I still had to pay extra for my pet and a $100 deposit that wont be put back on my card for 7 to 10 days. If you can take it off my card in 5 seconds you should be able to put it back on my card in 5 seconds.
- 4/5
The location is convenient for events at the Tacoma Dome. The staff is great and the main area is very nice but our room was a bit dirty and needed some updating. Dirty couch, dirty shower, not enough plugs, some dangerous looking plugs, and just a bit run down. Not up to the normal standard we get at LaQuinta.
- 3/5
One wash cloth, no hand towel, Worn out bed, limited poor quality breakfast in relationship to other La Quinta locations.
- 4/5
Room always clean
- 4/5
The hotel is very clean a little outdated with the mini fridge and microwave. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast is just OK with waffle station, yogurt, fruit, bread, and biscuits and gravy. The only thing I have negative to say is tht it is very close to the port and you hear the train noises and semi noise through the night. Outside of that it's a great place. Would stay again if I was in the area.
- 3/5
The front desk has tables stacked in front of it which looks trashy at best. I get that guests might walk behind the counter ( really how often does that happen) but find a less obstructive way to maintain the openings. The rooms do have an odor to them as with any outdated property. The tub/shower is stained. Ours had black feet prints in it. While the card in the room offered streaming we could not get it to work properly. For the price I should not complain. (Stayed in area because family lives a few blocks away) If you are looking for a budget friendly, close to SeaTac or entertainment then this would be an ok choice. If you are hotel snobby, skip it.
- 5/5
Nice rooms and friendly staff
- 1/5
We had a baby with us and people were smocking everywhere we went. One person even blow a weed in our face in the elevator. The front desk people where not every welcoming and everything was dirty
- 1/5
Worse stay I think I have ever had.
- 4/5
Nice staff, clean hotel location is not so pleasant. Had our window in our truck blapped and our belongings stolen despite the fact they have obnoxious blue and white flashing lights cameras and security. Be careful not to leave any belongings in vehicle or in plain view because the car prowlers are bold.
- 3/5
clean room swimming pool and hot tub closed but not updated online
- 4/5
Was on the third floor. Found shampoo in the room. Went to ask for conditioner and lotion as was told they had none. I know they used to have it.
- 5/5
Toilet is too low
- 3/5
Inside is dated beds with sheets that don’t fit. Staff was nice but couldn’t leave to another hotel due to Expedia not contacting efficiently
- 5/5
Wi -fi network connections was poor.
- 1/5
The room smelled so bad my wife couldn’t stay
- 4/5
Beautiful scenery and close to university place.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, and really showed care and concern. The breakfast could have had more options, but was satisfactory. The room was clean and spacious. The elevator worked just fine. Everything was perfect except for when you left the facility. The surroundings were awful; nasty, and people openly doing drugs. Public transportation was limited and walking was not an option due to the homeless. Too bad because the hotel is so nice.
- 3/5
Electrical outlets were old and loose. Need to upgrade so that plugs will stay in.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good!!
- 4/5
Clean, value for the money.
- 3/5
I found a used washcloth throw up in the shower curtain. The bathtub/shower was slippery as if cleanser had not been removed. However, it was still slick the next day. As a handicapped person, this was concerning because it is a slip hazard. There was nothing in the tub to reduce a slip/fall incident. The front desk staff was great, however. If you are not going to have housekeeping, there should be some way to replenish room coffee instead of havin to ask for it every day.
- 3/5
Room dirty and staff unresponsive
- 1/5
Doors are not working properly with cards
- 2/5
I didnt like that i could not open my window wider than 2 inches, there was no screen on window, security lock on the door 204 was broken/lose. No microwave in room
- 5/5
Comfortable and easy access everywhere
- 4/5
Too far from airport or cruise port. (Ride share expensive) Staff was super nice and helpful. However the room was not the cleanest. The tub had not been cleaned in awhile. Only the night table lamps worked. Breakfast was definitely not edible. Hard boiled eggs and stale muffins or toast or oatmeal and dry cereal. (There was a make your own waffle). Hot water for tea tasted like coffee grounds. Property offered no transportation. Probably would not stay here.
- 3/5
I didn’t like that no house keeper came into our room to pick trash and give new towels the 4 nights we stayed. We had to go to the front desk to ask for clean towels. Also, the AC was too loud.
- 4/5
hotel was clean but the front desk is understaffed. There were people fighting outside on the street one night that woke me up. The hotel and staff were great but the area around the hotel is a little sketchy!
- 4/5
The shower faucet fell off in my hand.
- 4/5
Nice breakfast.
- 3/5
The staff was pleasant and the hotel itself is upgraded and nice. However the pillow cases had stains and smelled gross. There were a group of motorcycles outside that revved up all hours of the night, 3 nights in a row and people hung out near the entry doors, loitering and smoking. The surrounding area was shady at best. And a week later, I am still waiting on the refund of my deposit. Would not stay again.

Great
- 5/5
The area around the property is industrial and they have great security overnight.
- 4/5
It’s a cheap place to go when you need a rest. The front desk clerk didn’t seem interested in helping until I leaned over the counter (That still have COVID signs?) and asked to check in. The room was ok, a little small and out dated.
- 3/5
The stay was great besides the toilet making loud sounds all night. The breakfast was not the best, more hot options would be nice. The kids enjoyed the pool.
- 2/5
The lady at the front desk was rude and wasn’t very welcoming, the room itself had a lot of damages and a weird smell, plenty of unsafe people, the water temperature was extremely hot and unsafe for us to wash our faces and hands.
- 5/5
The Inn itself was good, but it is in a very sketchy area. We did not feel overly safe when we went out of the inn.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at a nice clean hotel. The staff when checking in was very nice and understanding to a situation I had and waived my deposit.
- 2/5
Good staff. Horrible location. Building is pretty run down.

Nice hotel
- 3/5
The room and hotel were ok. The area surrounding hotel is VERY SKETCHY! And by surrounding area i mean one step past front and back gates. I booked hotel thinking we could walk half mile to amtrak station. That would not be wise choice. Took very short uber ride to station. If i had mulligan would have stayed in suburb and taken longer uber ride. But from what i saw of seattle/tacoma area im not sure that option would be much better? Mad Max times in pacific northwest for sure🙁
- 4/5
nicely updated common areas and rooms. Great value.
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice overall. It's conveniently located right next to highway. There's a fun pool and hot tub which was never crowded. Cute umbrellas and chairs to relax under. There is a bar and restaurant with standard pub fare. You get can drinks and food to go for up in your room which is fun. The room was nice and the beds were soft. The parking lot is very well lit and monitored. One thing though-There are no vending machines and no cash machine so be prepared for that.
- 5/5
Great place to stay when working in the greater Tacoma area as this hotel has a restaurant to accommodate there guests.

Nice Hotel

Clean well kept hotel. Room was comfortable and neat. Full breakfast complimentary. Rates on point.
- 4/5
Easy access from freeway.
- 5/5
Clean and good service
- 3/5
Continental breakfast was excellent. Room needed electric outlets repaired.
- 2/5
Room felt old. Sink didn’t drain. View of industrial area. $170 too much.
- 2/5
First off, the front desk staff was amazing! However, the room was quite warn, outdated and filthy dirty. I’m conflicted because if it were clean, it would have been fine. The lady at the front was a doll about it. We didn’t stay the night, we changed hotels.

Great staff, clean room. Fairly noisy due to thin walls and nearby highway.

More breakfast options

Is in a non populated industrial area with some homeless people around
- 3/5
The hotel was what we expected, not in the best area but needed pet friendly. The staff and security were great . We have stayed in 4 LaQuinta's on this trip and this was the most lacking breakfast choice.
- 4/5
Good place to stay. With a dog that is scared of loud noise, the area for dogs to relieve themselves is extremely loud, just by access road to the freeway and next to the freeway. I did really appreciate the security at the hotel and in the parking lot as tried another hotel and there is a need for that there.
- 4/5
Our stay was a good one, although the breakfast could have more variety, like scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage, other than that it was fine.

- 2/5
I had a bad experience, my room had cockroaches and one of the beds blanket had blood stains, it seems that it was never washed and they just left it like that. Very upsetting
- 3/5
Clean and simply furnished but comfortable rooms. Front desk service varied from the very helpful to the inexplicably brusque. Breakfast choices were limited but adequate. WiFi was poor; it was impossible to access it from the room desk, and only by positioning a device next to the room door could even a weak signal and slow transmission be received. The hotel is located in an industrial area that lacks almost all amenities and has very limited public transit options; too, the surrounding area did not always feel safe. This hotel does not appear to be suitable for those without independent automobile transport.
- 3/5
Sketchy area, not walkable, no vending machines and soda at front desk very expensive
- 3/5
Staff was nice. However there was a chip on one bed and a stain on another. There was someone smoking on the floor. No phones in room and texting feature doesn’t work. Hot tub broken.
- 3/5
Got to watch no fewer than ten cop cars surrounding a single homeless guy right across the street. No food close or available after 8 pm.
- 4/5
No real food options after 8pm. Had to find a Taco Bell after the concert for food. Good free breakfast in the morning. A little concerned about parking lot safety, they even have signs about not leaving stuff in your car and a tall outdoor camera thing like in Home Depot parking lots. At least they are trying. My car was fine in the morning. Nice room and clean. I would stay here again, no problem.
- 5/5
This was my second time staying here because of its proximity to the Tacoma Dome. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful. I love the complimentary breakfast, and family members made use of the pool, so that was really nice.
- 5/5
Just liked how friendly and helpful the front staff has been during my stay.
- 1/5
The service is below level from front desk, as for the kitchen its a total reck, mess. Bad breakfast, actually its not even worth the name breakfast, bad food, tastless and can cause serious stomach upset. The only good thing is the bar. Underwhelming.
- 3/5
Older hotel and not in the greatest neighborhood. Worried about my car at night. Breakfast was ok but no protein options. We did t dare venture out at night as lots of homeless in area.
- 3/5
Was a little weary of property upon check-in as they have multiple security camera towers set-up in the parking lot, as well as having the doors to the lobby locked and semi-barricaded. Not the greatest experience to be perfectly honest, but by morning seemed to be better. Not sure I would stay there again

Loved the pool & hot tub after a long road trip! King bed was very comfy. Breakfast wasn't fancy but much appreciated.
- 3/5
Could use a remodel/upgrades. Too few pillows/old pillows. Mattress worn and uncomfortable. Bathroom missing toilet paper holder. Stains on walls.

Another great stay.

Very nice

Not a bad hotel, staff were kinda rude but the breakfast was great and so was the hotel bar/restaurant bartender. She was awesome. Also the pool was nice, no jets on the hot tub though.
- 5/5
I liked that my room was clean and there was always enough parking spots at night so I never had to worry about parking on the street or anything.
- 2/5
The staff was really nice but I called ahead for an early check and they said I could and I arrived and was told there was actually a $25 early check-in fee. My bedding was dirty so I asked for new bedding and staff was kind and switched me to a new room but the new room also had dirty bedding and it had some rips in it too. The bathroom sink was also slow to drain. There was a long black hair on my bathroom towel. Just felt very dirty but the staff was kind.

Hotel is super old. Smells musky. I was kept up overnight by the highway and the TV downstairs. Keys cards didn’t work well. Our toilet ran all the time. Shampoo and no conditioner. Breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the pool

Too many homeless around the property

We found several fleas in our hotel room (on a non per floor) and the bathroom was not very clean. The refrigerator in our room made a "Darth Vader" breathing sound all-night even though I'm atar wars fan not appreciate it for sleeping. I personally liked the biscuits with gravy and waffles for breakfast. The pool was nice too. The staff was pleasant and moved us to a new room because of the fleas the following night.

Good stay, comfortable beds, nice room, friendly staff, the only issue was the parking lot, had garbage everywhere.
- 4/5
Chastity is a wonderful employee

Shady characters hanging around the fenced property. Freeway noise may be an issue for some who sleep very lightly.

Property need to have cleaner rooms and needs bathrooms updated.

Property was very well maintained and staff was very friendly

Staff was great!

Bed was uncomfortable, multiple issues with key cards. Multiple ice machines broken. Staff was amazing though.

All was well

Breakfast was very poor. It was the worst we had ever seen.

I have stayed at this specific La Quinta at least 5 times and will continue to stay there because it is my best option when I visit family. It is also pet friendly. It is dependable, comfortable and clean. There is an area where I feel comfortable walking my dog. I noticed this last trip that not every room has a refrigerator or microwave. I always call ahead when I am going to be late. In the future I will remember to specify that I would prefer to have a microwave-they will usually bring one if you ask.
- 4/5
Excellent stay, needs work/ update on breakfast options though.
- 3/5
Lobby is nice, But room is not that nice

Once in the correct room, we found more issues. The shower drain didn’t work properly, leaving several inches of standing water while showering. The toilet seat was also loose, which was uncomfortable and should’ve been fixed before our stay. The hot tub was unusable—cloudy greenish-gray water with a brown, oily film and bubbles on the surface. Honestly, it was gross. The lounge/restaurant was closed, which was a letdown since it was one of the amenities we were looking forward to. Breakfast was also underwhelming—not what I’d expect from a hotel at this price point. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. I won’t be staying with LaQuinta again.
