The hotel is praised for its modern and artistic design, with a stunning glass blowing artistry display. The staff is consistently described as friendly and helpful. However, there are recurring complaints about the air conditioning and temperature control in the rooms. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the limited dining options and the lack of nearby restaurants.

Murano is a very beautiful building with an excellent location, close to train. Great views. One of the best mattresses ever! Nice gym and restaurant!
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Clean room, helpful staff, and a complimentary cocktail was a plus too!
- 5/5
The property was nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Staff was great, place was very clean

It was a great stay! Easiest check in. The room was very clean. The bathroom was beautiful! I would stay again any day. The lobby was really nice as well.

Maintenance was loud and. Rey early one morning
- 4/5
Property is clean and well kept could use some minor maintenance in the lobby but nothing too major, otherwise very nice hotel for Tacoma area! Loved that everything was walking distance so that was a plus!
- 3/5
The whole hotel overall was OK, but we were disappointed by our furnishings in the room. There was no luggage rack and only one straight back chair. We did not expect this from a hotel of this quality and are not likely to return.
- 4/5
The restaurant was very expensive and limited a little disappointing I was hoping for a little cafe.
- 5/5
Very clean room, the staff was wonderful the atmosphere was nice. Parking was convenient. Lobby was inviting. Overall great experience!

Hotel Murano is centrally located close to theater, museum and restaurants. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. The main lobby and conference needs a makeover ~ carpets and sofa's showed considerable wear. The hotel is currently working on renovations. The lounge and restaurant were extremely noisy with hammering and sawing during our visit. Once finished it will be a big improvement to the hotel. I will definitely return when visiting the Tacoma area.

N8thing Everything. Room was terrible, cost very high
- 4/5
Location. Club lounge access that came with our room. Not well sound proofed for noises coming from other rooms and elevators. AC was not the best.
- 4/5
Nice clean hotel

I wished you had more snacks to offer and items that’s carried in the vending machine because the one that is there doesn’t work and it’s been that way for a long time, like things for a headache, toothbrush, snacks etc
- 4/5
Overall everything was good. The front desk was kind and generous to allowed us early checked in. Thank you and hopefully the parking ticket issue will be resolved.

We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but it was very nice. I’d stay there again!
- 1/5
Decent location 1. Our car got smashed (run into) within about an hour of parking. The staff barely had compassion about the situation. Left feeling very unsafe. Only compensation given was not charging us $30+tax for parking - which we were only there for about 2 hours as once the car was ruined we drove it back home (without the entire front bumper and front coverings). 2. Bedding smelled like sewage 3. Room smelled like weed throughout the night 4. Beds were small and super uncomfortable 5. No amenities 6. Dining closes at 10pm on Saturday, no room service
- 3/5
The room was fairly clean, however the bathroom floor had hair, not mine, on it. The bed was very comfortable. Room temperature was really good. The bathroom sink was stopped up and drained very slowly. The first room they put us in the shower was broken so the first night we couldn't shower. The staff was amazing very helpful. The second room the satellite wouldn't work but they sent someone up quickly to fix it. We asked for handicap room and the first one was on the 11th floor, the second one was on the 10th. If their was an emergency there would have been no way for my husband who is in a wheel chair to exit. The ice machine didn't work on the 10th floor. The restaurant on the 4th floor was also closed, but relocated in the lobby hall. The hotel was very beautiful and the staff amazing but it's not handicapped friendly so I wouldn't stay there again
- 5/5
I love this place, absolutely beautiful
- 4/5
Everything was great. Parking was convenient, room was relatively quiet for location. Staff friendly. They are remodeling the restaurant and they tried, but the food was considerably delayed, 1 hour plus for fish tacos. Small menu but flavors were good. I realize they were not in an ideal situation in our server tried really hard to compensate. She was very sweet. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Reception desk so noisy it was difficult to hear and communicate with staff.
- 3/5
Not told ahead of time restaurant was closed and under construction. Loud construction noise while eating our meal in the bar with limited menu. No facecloths provided. Asked for some and delivered on the floor outside our door even though we were inside and could’ve knocked. No room service available.
- 4/5
Loved the art! The view was great. Room was quiet. Lovely hotel that is showing its age. However, signs indicate it’ll soon undergo a facelift. Didn’t realize at booking there is an additional charge for parking.

Parking was $30 thought it was free when staying there. Multiple asks for item in a room. Over priced for no real amenities.
- 5/5
Really clean and super nice

We came to Tacoma for an event at the convention center. The hotel was steps away from it very convenient centrally located to everything easy for Ubers to get in and out highly recommend Hotel Murano!

Beautiful hotel and restaurant on site. Wonderful place to stay
- 5/5
Our room was clean and spacious. It had a beautiful view of the city and the Tacoma Dome. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Convenient parking lot right next to the hotel with EV charging spots was a plus.
- 5/5
One thing I didn’t like is the soap bar that sticks to the soap dish and is hard to use, liquid soap is so much more convenient, the sink and the faucet weren’t really convenient in the bathroom, just a weird design, but I still enjoyed my stay.
- 4/5
They need a toaster for the breakfast. The elevator rugs need to be cleaned or replaced at the end of the completion of the renovations. Don't stay near the elevators as there is a constant loud clanking noise.
- 5/5
This is a great choice. I’d stay again.
- 1/5
I made an error upon booking and booked a day later than what I required. Upon arrival to check-in I was told that the system would allow the clerk to change the booking to a date in the future but not for the current day. I was not granted a refund despite having made the booking less than one hour prior to arrival. I will not be booking with hotel Murano in the future.
- 4.5/5
Just beautiful place to look around The food was so salty I couldn’t eat but 2 bites before my stomach was upset. The shell fish were not washed and full of sand still
- 5/5
Manager and staff were welcoming, accommodating, and kind. Loved the amenities and featured glass artists throughout the hotel and enjoyed dinner at bite, the hotel restaurant - the food was delicious, service attentive and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean and the view of Mt Rainier was impeccable. The bed/pillows were remarkably comfortable and I had a lovely night's sleep. Looking forward to my next stay!
- 3/5
I've stayed at this property several times over the years, it was a favorite in Tacoma. Common areas need an update, carpets are worn, broken glass in elevators, etc. Room didn't have an iron or ironing board, would have expected for a business/convention type hotel. Had booked a mountain view room, was put in a lower street view room. Didn't bother to complain, as front desk staff seemed preoccupied and not very friendly and I was too tired to move again. Probably won't stay there again.
- 5/5
clean room, awesome staff, great location, great value!
- 5/5
Very convenient to museums and convention center, the art glass displays on the many room floors are not to be missed
- 3/5
Convenient location - very little amenities- terrible pillows so bring your own
- 5/5
Great place to go to when you wanna get away from the world.
- 5/5
We really like our stay at the Hotel Murano. The room is quite spacious, clean, and modern. Location is in the nice part of Tacoma. We will definitely book here again on our next Tacoma trip.

Excellent hotel with good amenities and very helpful staff - highly recommend this well situated hotel - the room, restaurant and staff in all areas were exceptional - good location and well appointed with friendly, helpful staff!
- 3/5
I enjoyed the bed and the two front pillows (down or down alt) and the fact that the mattress was totally encased in a zip barrier cover plus a fitted sheet and not just flat sheets tucked tight. However, the sheets and comforter were pilled and itchy.
- 5/5
Super friendly, clean rooms, amazing atmosphere.
- 5/5
Over all great!
- 3/5
It was ok. Not the worst.
- 3/5
While we love this hotel, this stay was frustrating! Between the constant clanging and banging day and nite and then our soaker tub not being able to hold water, on our anniversary weekend… no matter if we turned the knob left or right the tub would not hold water. We resulted in stuffing a wash cloth in the drain and refilling it several times! We chose Tacoma and this hotel for our anniversary weekend and it could have been better more like the last time. Upon letting staff know during checkout, he seemed apologetic though I am not sure this will be corrected. He explained the clanging and banging was due to the elevator mechanical room on the 26th floor(our suite was on the 24th) but the last 2 times we stayed in the same room we did not have this issue. I am frustrated that we had issues ok our special occasion especially because we love this hotel!
- 5/5
Beautiful historical building and very spacious apartment. Comfortable beds. Great location.
- 3/5
Rooms and Lobby are a bit dated. King size bed felt more like a large queen yet extremely comfortable. Quiet for the most part,
- 5/5
Nice view from room. Needed better staffing in restaurant but food was good.
- 1/5
Left a lot to be desired. Once we got off the elevator you could smell odor eliminator in large quantities. I figure it was just the hallways. Not a change went into the room and same smell. Very chemically the room was very outdated and looked nothing like the pictures. I can get past that. Did my normal pull back the covers and there are private hairs. I chose at that point to just leave. I will say the lobby is well maintained.
- 4/5
Did not eat
- 5/5
I always stay at Murano when I’m in Tacoma. I just can’t find anything better. I love it there.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel that has great staff members along with beautiful glass items. The beds were very comfortable Felt very safe here.
- 3/5
The staff was good except when we asked for a phone in our room. At first no one responded and then we were told they didn't have any extra phones. A room without a phone at &600+ a night. Our room was poorly equipped, 1 tiny nightstand on the right of the bed, no where to put luggage except on a Cleopatra like coach which took up most of the room, no where in the bathroom to put a toothbrush or cosmetics and very poor lighting. We were very disappointed for the money. Oh, the lobby was lovely.
- 5/5
Staff were really helpful and awesome….. and we needed to cancel our second night and they made sure we got a complete refund. They were super helpful and friendly. Also, you get a voucher for the breakfast for 20 bucks per person which was really nice so our breakfast cost us very little!!!! we enjoyed our stay all around in the art displays are really incredible
- 5/5
Large clean room. Very nice.
- 5/5
Great downtown location. Close to the Tacoma Dome. Nice, on site restaurant was very handy.
- 2/5
This is a really run-diwn, partially renovated, old hotel. Very basic, no frills. There were dirty dishes in the hallway, when i checked in - they were still there two days later. The lobby looks nice, its all smoke & mirrors.
- 5/5
Great hotel, will stay again
- 5/5
Great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
- 3/5
The biggest issue we had is that our room on the 24th floor was next to the elevator. It made a pounding noise when it went up and down
- 4/5
The rooms are in need of updating urgently. This is a lovely property in a wonderful area. Unfortunately, now it is a 3 star hotel at best. I would not likely return unless it is renovated. Hopefully renovations are in the very near future.
- 5/5
Bed was comfy and the hotel was nice. Will stay again!
- 1/5
Breakfast menu was decent. Air conditioning we did not use... or if it it was on it was ok.
- 5/5
The best place to stay in Tacoma. I love this hotel, and the staff really went out of their way to help my son when they really didn't have to. Always my first choice when I am there.
- 5/5
The rooms were really clean. The staff were extra nice. We didn’t try the breakfast or the bar, but the hotel itself was really nice.
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean, conveniently located, accommodating! Easy parking! Great restaurant!
- 4/5
Friendly staff, nice art made of class, a little rough at the edges
- 5/5
Thank you for a great stay! We are definitely booking you guys when we return throughout the school year. Go Loggers!
- 3/5
They seemed to be having a staffing issue when we were there. Check in and service at the bar were painfully slow. The staff was friendly despite this. Location is good as it’s close to many downtown attractions and restaurants.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and the staff was beyond nice. Will stay again my next trip to Tacoma.
- 5/5
Everything great as usual.
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed and room
- 5/5
Very nice and clean!
- 5/5
The rooms are tidy, beds pretty cozy and the rooms are very quiet. The highlight of our stay was an incredibly attentive server named Coliyn (yes, with a Y!) who was gracious, attentive and super sweet even 30 minutes before closing time when we rolled up. He is a treasure; genuine, present and very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a delightful place to stay.
- 3/5
The room Air conditioner was not efficient. The room was too warm. Thermostat was not controlling the appropriate temp. Staff said that the lack of cool air was because chillers were not on.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. No microwave in the room. Comfortable bed and pillows!
- 5/5
Located downtown. Central location.
- 5/5
Great location for events at the convention center.
- 5/5
The view of Mt Rainier and the harbor is spectacular. Well appointed rooms, lovely artwork throughout, very comfortable bed, very reasonably priced.
- 3/5
On the downside, there was no phone in the room to call for service, and we had to request a microwave instead of it being provided. Parking was also more expensive than we were initially told. During our stay, there was an incident in the elevator involving someone who appeared to be under the influence, which required medics—definitely unexpected. The elevator floors were quite dirty the first day, though they were noticeably cleaner the next. Our room was fairly quiet from road noise, but we did hear something rolling around above us that was pretty loud at times. The beds were advertised as queens, but felt smaller—somewhere between a full and a queen—so it was a tight fit for two adults. There were also a few maintenance issues: the shower sprayed water onto the wall behind the toilet, and the sink had a visible leak. The building itself feels older and could definitely use updates, especially the carpet. That said, there were some highlights. The water view from our room was beautiful, and the housekeeping staff truly stood out—they did an excellent job cleaning and resetting the room each day and were the best part of our stay. Overall, the hotel has potential, but improvements in maintenance, accuracy of amenities, and general upkeep would make a big difference.
- 5/5
Hotel Murano is a gem, modern, excellent firm king bed and sofa, beautiful displays of museum quality glass art, and a nice lobby bar.
- 5/5
The bar was great. Breakfast was excellent.
- 1/5
Parking garage is super sketch with a mobile police camera set up, guess that’s why it cost 30$ a day? The hotel on the outside looks dirty and worn out… well same for the inside. Not a good look when you can see mattresses against the top floor windows. Damaged elevators, damaged and worn out furniture in the rooms, cigarette burns on furniture, cigarette burns on window seals, holes in carpet, tv from what I would assume was 2005! Lobby smelt like drakkar noir cologne. Tacoma and this hotel are in far worse shape since I last visited in 2016. City looks like a ghost town, 10 years ago is was insanely busy. Found a Hampton inn in a nicer town and had a far better time. I will give the front desk manager I believe it was props for partially refunding me. Don’t waste your time!
- 2/5
Pictures look good online. Rooms are in desperate need of work. Carpet unclean, drapes falling apart, mold in the ceiling cracks.
- 5/5
beautiful lobby area with fire place and bar, central to everything downtown, very attentive staff and a yummy restaurant on site

The hotel is adequate but old and tired. The bathroom floor in our room needed attention. The room faced a busy street, and there was street noise during the night.
- 5/5
Outstanding experience. Clean and comfortable. Excellent atmosphere. Mountain view. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
The entry carpet was bubbled and needed to be stretched or replaced, lower elevator didn’t work, but the lobby was clean and staff was nice. Our room was a mess. Towels had black sticky stuff on them, room was very dusty, stains on the carpet and the room was very warm regardless of turning the air on.
- 5/5
Great view of downtown! Amazing staff!
- 5/5
We stay here regularly when we have an event in Tacoma. Good value.
- 2/5
Nice lobby but that’s is all the good I can say . The room has the bathroom fan falling from the ceiling , the faucet not attached , and the mirror had a big crack .. worst part of the stay was the noise from above us that was all night long ! Will not stay here again
- 3/5
Cleanliness was moderate. Housekeeping would regularly wake us up between 7:30 and 8am cleaning other rooms. We had to ask for clean towels multiple times. At one point we changed rooms because our tv stopped working and they were unable to fix it. While did make it right, i think next time we will stay at the marriott 1 block over
- 3/5
Rooms were clean. The service was garbage. I called ahead to get someone sdded to my ŵŵw⁴SW
- 5/5
Everyone at the hotel was wonderful to work with!!!! I have the most beautiful view of Mount Rainier from my window, and I had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. I will definitely come back.
- 5/5
Clean. Beautiful art. Real hot water with pressure. Convenient if you have business in Tacoma or going to museums.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
Good hotel
- 5/5
It smells so good in the hotel. Its amazing. Clean room. Comfy bed. Great staff
- 3/5
The room was very cold (prob 65) and the thermostat didn’t work.
- 4/5
Carpets were worn in high traffic areas, the entertainment center in our room looked like it had been through an earthquake, it sagged in the middle and doors wouldn't shut properly, ice maker on our floor was not in operation, there were dirty plates in the hallway for our entire stay. Sad to see it in a declined state, hopefully the refresh brings it back to the condition we remember. Staff was great at the front desk, downstairs bar and in the restaurant. Our meals for the 200+ person event were very good. Location in downtown Tacoma near the convention center and light rail is great as well.
- 3/5
While the room was clean had good amenities and the staff was very friendly, we did not like our stay. Despite being on the 12th floor the street down below was still very noisy and could be heard all the way up. We were also right by the elevator and could hear constant clanking noises coming from the wall we shared with it. The parking was also very expensive for an overnight stay and you don't really have an other option.
- 5/5
The motel was really nice electric staff and very cleanly really nice rooms with a view of the city the only downfall to this property was that there was no parking the only free parking was on the street the parking lot at the motel is 30 bucks a night which I don't see how a parking at a motel should be paid for should be complementary
- 5/5
Clean and great location
- 4/5
Great spot in downtown Tacoma. Spacious lobby and seating area, clean rooms, comfortable beds, bar and restaurant on premises and so many breweries, restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Location is great. Stylings are great. Rooms are smaller than expected given how stylish the hotel is. Could easily hear the person in the room next to us.
- 4/5
The bar offered a good selection of spirits and drinks, although I did not get to have breakfast. So I cannot rate that.
- 3/5
Front desk double charge my credit card for the deposit and then
- 5/5
Nice and quiet and convenient for work.

It was so great to be so close to the convention center! Staff were excellent and helpful! Parts of the room were pretty outdated but overall it was a good experience.
- 4/5
No food near by but restaurant is good
- 5/5
Clean room and the view
- 5/5
I loved the area and hotel specially the restaurant
- 5/5
Very nice short stay. Nice dinner meal in restaurant.
- 4/5
No i could see fingervprints on the door goong to the bathroom. Staff was very friendly.
- 3/5
It's a pretty costly price for a run-down room. I will not be staying there again for that price. Leak spots, and 80s decor, and even halls, and the elevator was torn up.
- 5/5
Room was great! Drink voucher with expedia booking. However i don't think it would kill them to offer complimentary drip coffee. That comes with a cost but free refills. Overall great stay. We were in town for a dance competition 😊
- 5/5
Room was great!
- 4/5
Clean rooms, lobby smells amazing. Comfortable beds. Elevator is fast. Has workout area. Restaurant is always short staffed. Raised parking fee per night
- 4/5
The elevator floor was carpet and it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for a while. I love the that the decor was dedicated to Glass, but it is pretty dated and a bit rundown. The first room I was given the TV wasn’t hooked up correctly and the phone didn’t work, but the desk quickly gave me

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast!
- 3/5
The restaurant was okay, would have been great, but sadly the overall attitude of the restaurant staff is very off putting. Overall the hotel was clean, great location. My only complaints are just customer service and care.

Staff was very nice. Room smelled nice also

- 2/5
The bar was closed because it was “slow.” Ordered dessert from Bite and the crème brule was so bad they didn’t want to charge me.
- 5/5
The only complaint we have is, parking was more than they quoted us in our reservation they charged us $30 a night which seems ridiculous.
- 3/5
Room and food at restaurant were good. Only gave 3 stars because it was hard to sleep with the constant elevator noise. Never experienced that at a hotel before. If I stayed again I would just ask to make sure my room was not near the elevator.
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
Run-down, out-dated
- 3/5
Staff were good.
- 2/5
Additionally, we experienced a few issues with our room that needed to be addressed by the hotel management. While the issues were addressed, we felt like the hotel staff wanted nothing to do with repairs that they were ultimately responsible for making (while making it seem like we were inconveniencing them in the process). How does that make any sense? If something is broken, there should be a basic apology and acknowledgement that it’s an inconvenience for the guest. I’m willing to give this property another try at some point, but after this visit I’ll probably look for another option next time I’m in Tacoma. I want to like it, but the issues need to be addressed.
- 3/5
This hotel was okay. The room was run down and the staff at the front desk wasn’t overly nice.

Great room and location
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff
- 4/5
Front desk was very kind, rooms didn’t seem to be as nice as the rest of the hotel like old furniture and TVs but everything was clean!
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
The girl that helped me check in and out was great! The woman working overnight, not so much. She was moving slow and not courteous not attentive, she didn’t know how to use the computer, it seemed. And I was pretty sad that y’all ran out of water bottles. I was surprised that the furniture was dirty and the room was lower quality than the photos suggested.
- 3/5
Third time staying here, however this time the room did not have a microwave and they couldnt provide us with one. Also did not have new toilet paper in the room & third time weve asked for later checkout and were denied.
- 3/5
There was no microwave the shower bar that holds the shower head was broken, the room phone did nt work the batteries in the tv remote were dead and the ice mmachine was broken.
- 5/5
The room was great, spacious, clean, loved that the windows open (even if it's just a little). The bed was very comfortable, pillows too. The hotel itself is amazing, the glass art, decor, bar. Easy parking, great location. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable and nice staff
- 1/5
The room was dusty dirty. White bed spread with marks all over. Faucet handle looked to be a failed attempt to fix with plumber tape. Fell off never to stay on again. Rust..sad
- 5/5
Clean room, complimentary drin, rstuatanr on property, accomidating staff
- 5/5
From the lobby to my room was beautiful.
- 2/5
I was there on a business trip and my room was next to the elevator. Super noisy until 4am in the morning Friday and Saturday night. Internet barely worked and thus affected my job.
- 3/5
The location was convenient and good.
- 2/5
It needs some love
- 5/5
The room was quiet and the restaurant was great!
- 5/5
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
- 1/5
I had a horrible experience. My car was broken into in the parking lot. The hotel staff did not have any empathy to my situation. They don’t make note of it just for their records and simply didn’t care as if this was a normal occurrence in their parking lot. I will not stay at this hotel ever again, nor will the referrals I’ve sent will stay there again.

- 4/5
Stay was great. We had to wait for the elevator for an extended time, and the restaurant service was slower than expected but overall good experience
- 2/5
Zero hot water in the morning for a shower. I thought there When I checked out at 0700, the desk clerk said “ We could have changed your room.” Yeah, right. I am supposed to gather all my stuff from the room at 0600, go to new room to shower, then make my 0715 meeting 15 minutes away! Not helpful…
- 4/5
Got a parking ticket even though I paid for parking Flickering lights
- 4/5
Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast is not included and parking is an extra $30
- 5/5
Great are throughout the building, comfortable clean rooms, frienldy staff
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 4/5
Staff was very welcoming and amenities were clean.
- 5/5
good job!
- 3/5
Staff are well-trained and delightful helpers. The food is nicely prepared, nice tasting and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
Terrible parking, carpet in lobby is completely coming apart, the room sink filled and wouldn’t drain started leaking on the floor and i had to use the towels to clean it up. And the mirror in the room was broken. Very dark room hard to see if the lights were on
- 4/5
Clean!
- 1/5
The staff member did not greet us upon arrival and was busy with another customer. As 15-20 minutes passed without any
- 2/5
Staff, check-in and lobby area is great! The room I was in was entirely a different story. It was in need of an upgrade, wallpaper was peeling off, the thermostat was not working well had to open a window to cool the room. Bathroom counter was glass on metal top is wasn’t very clean and the metal was starting to discolor under the glass. Finally and probably the most annoying was that the surge protector on the night stand wasn’t plugged in. I had to move the bed to plug it in, the night stand lamps didn’t work properly light was flickering and the on/off switch was dangerously loose. And the tall free standing lamp near window also was not plugged in, it was not connected to a wall switch and had no on/off switch on the lamp itself. So it had to be unplugged to turn on and off. These are little things but they are all annoying enough to make a stay cumbersome. More then likely will not return to stay there are other hotels in the area that have been updated for the same nightly rate.
- 5/5
Clean room and fantastic staff!
- 5/5
Very courteous staff. Check in was smooth and easy. Room was clean, smelled pleasant, and that view of Mt. Rainier was amazing...well at l ast once the morning for burned off!
- 4/5
Courteous staff. Art displays were very interesting.
- 5/5
Our stay was quite short. We found the Murano dog-friendly, clean and beautiful.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
The staff were wonderful, the property was clean and tastefully decorated, and the bed was one of the comfiest I've enjoyed in a long time! The hotel was a little outdated. The hot water came and went (I had a cold/lukewarm shower 2/3 mornings I was there), the lighting was fairly dim, and the air conditioner only worked intermittently. It was warmer on the upper floors, and as a woman of a certain age, I overheat easily. However, in hindsight, this made the cooler showers very manageable! Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would consider staying there again. The staff (and bed!) made it worth it!
- 5/5
Hotel was gorgeous and staff was great
- 5/5
Great atmosphere! Priced really well!
- 5/5
We enjoyed the selection,
- 3/5
The room was clean, the bed looked lumpy and the room smelled very strong of cigarettes. Check and check-out were very easy, staff is very friendly.
- 4/5
Yes friendly staff and everything was clean
- 5/5
Loved the view. The hotel is gorgeous, very friendly staff, they helped me with everything I needed, great location too!
- 5/5
Very clean!
- 4/5
Clean room, spacious, friendly hotel staff. Didn't know they had breakfast so the front desk person could have said something with check in
- 4/5
However I reserved an accessible room and the bathroom was anything but. While it was very spacious, there was absolutely no counter space to put anything on, this made getting ready a much longer process because I kept having to walk out to my bed to get my toiletries. Also, while the restaurant food was excellent it has very limited choices and no substitutions are allowed. For example, I wanted a salad with my burger, but my only option was a Caesar and I don’t eat Caesar salad.
- 5/5
Nice hotel great artwork. Always fun.
- 5/5
Great staff! Clean, comfortable.
- 5/5
Murano is a quick check in and location was nice for my visit
- 5/5
Adam , Fazema and Kollyn went above and beyond to insure my family and I were comfortable
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly hotel staff, great selection at the bar. Also a nice, walkable location.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
We didn’t have a complimentary breakfast, but the restaurant was very nice. We also really enjoyed all the artwork throughout the space.
- 5/5
Good staff, clean romms
- 4/5
The restaurant is frantic. The manager was running around frantic, there were only 5 or 6 tables in the restaurant and 3 + waitresses, for new years day breakfast.. It took 15 minutes to get seated. When we were seated it took another 5 -10 minutes for our order to be taken. Our waitress was good, but you can tell this place is very mismanaged
- 4/5
The staff was exceptional! The only exception I found was blood on the bedspread/duvet. yuck! Restaurant food was exceptional and moderately priced. Great location!!!! Sad that Expedia price was $30.00 higher than travelocity.
- 5/5
Great location. Friendly staff. Bar and restaurant on site. Close to museums and convention center.
- 4/5
Very comfortable and nice amenities.
- 5/5
Very clean and convenient. Parking should be covered in the room fee. Bet you’ve heard that a few times.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
They kept charging for parking when she has no legs or a car to even drive
- 5/5
The staff was helpful, the rooms nice, we liked the bar.
- 5/5
The staff were fantastic and very helpful. I will definitely stay at the Murano on my next visit to Tacoma.
- 5/5
just a comfortable place to stay, the desk help is welcoming and hotel is walking distance to theatre, dining and museums
- 5/5
Had dinner only
- 2/5
Staff was excellent, the hotel is old and appliances do not work. Shower head was broken
- 5/5
I absolutely love this hotel. Love Byte restaurant. The rooms and views are great!
- 5/5
Cool
- 5/5
Love staying here!
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed and clean spacious rooms! Would definitely come back!
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and accommodating. The bathroom could have used some attention
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, clean nice room. Had a great stay as always. Thank you.
- 5/5
The staff was AMAZING!!
- 3/5
The rooms were ok. Bathroom was clean as well as the beds, though the beds were advertised as Queen size they were actually more like small single size. The carpet in the room was old and dirty. The hotel has a restaurant so no complimentary breakfast offered and the breakfast was $20-30 per person. Not a terrible experience but probably better options in the area.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Room was nice, great view. Blanket had a stain on it that I noticed in in the morning, other than that room was clean.
- 5/5
Na
- 5/5
Friendly, thoughtful staff. Accommodating server in Cafe on Floor 4. Comfortable bed and beautiful lobby.
- 4/5
I didn’t eat breakfast
- 1/5
ending in 17 - you’re DIRECTLY BEHIND the service elevator. It sounds like a jet crashing through your room or an earthquake at 5:00 am and it NEVER STOPS. It’s brutal. I mentioned it to the front desk and he just shrugged. Also, the beds are fulls not queens so my husband and I had to sleep separately- those beds are big enough for one person! The best part of the stay was the bartender - Adam- he provided outstanding service. Though I won’t book again, I’ll definitely come to the bar for a drink.
- 3/5
Exterior and lobby were clean and seem to have been renovated recently. However, the rooms were a little outdated. Walls had sone cracks appearing and the chalking was coming off the tiles in the bathroom
- 4/5
Charging station did not work in the room. Otherwise it was an okay stay.
- 3/5
Front desk receptionist was very helpful. We will see if we get the refund she promised us.
- 5/5
My room was great. Never have any issues at this hotel. Love my morning view of the city and mountains!
- 4/5
Liked hotel but had bugs and spider in room.
- 5/5
Loved the onsite restaurant
- 5/5
room needed a deep clean. staff was friendly
- 4/5
The room was clean and the staff were great Was disappointed to find there was no mini fridge though.
- 3/5
Room was dated, expected a nicer room based on the star rating.
- 5/5
Great Staff and location
- 5/5
Wonderful restaurants and places to visit nearby.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and served hot. The bar service was also good.
- 5/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
We enjoyed this hotel for its cleanliness, friendliness, and location. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good. The bathroom shelf was very small, making it hard to place a shave kit and cosmetic bag. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!
- 2/5
Had to change rooms 3 times because things either didn’t work or stains and mildew and rust in the bathroom. Food was great though
- 5/5
Art in the halls - multiple nooks and a warm fire in the lobby Would easily stay here again
- 5/5
Room was very clean and the staff was so helpful and friendly from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the cleaning staff
- 5/5
Room was spotless and they were very very accommodating.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable and relaxed.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful and the staff was super nice. The hotel is located in a very safe area and we were able to walk around even at night. There is an Uber staging area very close so we never had to wait for an Uber.
- 5/5
Easy check in, clean facility, courteous staff.
- 4/5
I had an amazing time. The hotel overall just smelled good. It was beautiful inside and out. I love the bartenders they were the highlight of a few nights. The food was amazing, the art work was great. So why the 4 stars... this is what could've been better my room is in need of a renovation, bathroom shower head 2/10, carpet 2/10, plugs 2/10, A/C unit 5/10, entry door to my room was loud when opened. These are minor issues but overall great experience.
- 3/5
$30 parking per day will deter us from staying again.
- 5/5
Great experience all around!
- 5/5
Fab art...if you got up early enough on patron floor simple style breakfast..coffee.i was late by 15 minutes..day after thanksgiving...bar in lobby was fun ..great bartender..thus late sleepin til 8am..view was great..25th floor..it is getting that "used" look in rooms but very reasonable prices!
- 4/5
Beautiful lobby and nice bar.
- 5/5
I stay there often
- 4/5
However, the condition of the room was not optimal. The lining of the curtains was visibly shredding and the TV in our first room did not work properly. However, once we were in a new room, we were very comfortable.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Great room. Great staff. Excellent hotel
- 4/5
Clean nice size space
- 5/5
Very enjoyable rest
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff was really nice!
- 3/5
Need more parking. Food and drinks were pretty pricey
- 5/5
It was when I checked in early and they allowed me to do that and my room ready. I she a birthday dessert too. Thank you so much. The staff was very friendly. Thank you.
- 5/5
Great staff, atmosphere, room, food, etc...👍
- 5/5
Yes the room was clean and the view overlooking downtown Tacoma was amazing
- 3/5
FRONT DESK DIDN'T INFORM US OF OUR COMP. DRINK AND BREAKFAST. WE WEREN'T PROVIDED WITH WIFI PASSWORD AND ONLY 1 OF 3 ELEVATORS WORKED ON A SAT AND WE WERE ON THE 25TH FLOOR. LONG WAIT. WE PURCHASED A GLASS ITEM FROM THE SHOWCASE AND WAS HANDED IT TO US WITH NO WRAPPING/BAGS. FRONT END STAFF NEED TO BE MORE INFORMED.
- 5/5
Staff was the best part of the stay.
- 5/5
Nice hotel close to dinning options and attractions
- 3/5
Bathroom issues with low water pressure for the shower and peeling of the wall paint.
- 5/5
All
- 5/5
Comfortable and great location. Staff was excellent. Make sure your parking is captured as there was a snafu. Got a ticket even though I registered with the front desk!
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and immaculate. Stunning views of Tacoma out our window. We did not arrive in time for dinner and had other plans for breakfast the next day, but the bar was fantastic and and its food menu gave of plenty of tasty options to choose from.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly, room clean, great view, tub was old & drained slowly but still worked fine, had to pay for parking daily about $27 a day- that can add up. Loved the decor! Very comfortable stay, staff was accommodating, needed a little later check out, let me check out at noon. Would definitely go back!
- 4/5
It was not as great as many times before...lamp was broken in room .the room ..just looked old
- 5/5
Enjoyed everything about our stay.
- 3/5
Staff was polite and the hotel is fine. However the cleanliness wasn’t the best and the room was small. The carpets need more thorough cleaning.
- 3/5
The Bite and Deborah was excellent!. Disappointed that we had no room service. Hotel needs a facelift and bathroom on the 1st level was locked at 10Am? Bed was very comfy and rooms was clean and comfortable. Overall look forward to our next stay and the remodel. Perfect location! Love Tacoma! And my husband says you need NFL network.
- 4/5
Everything about the venue was lovely. Nice view, comfortable bed, plentiful hot water. Would stay again. However, the parking management company hired by the hotel, Black Diamond, was supremely unprofessional. We got ticketed twice while being legally parked and had to run the tickets in to the front desk with a promise of "we'll take care of it ". That's good of them, but it's utterly unacceptable. When we left this morning it looked like most of the cars in the lot were ticketed. That's not cool.
- 4/5
I will note that downtown,Tacoma is a sleepy place.
- 4/5
Room was as expected. I was told it was unsafe to walk to dinner. $30 for parking seem outrageous. I was not aware I had free drinks available.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and in a great location.
- 5/5
2 free drinks for Expedia booking was a great perk!
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Tacoma for a friend golf trip.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
The parking fee and $100 hold per night isn’t mentioned in listing
- 5/5
Excellent hotel great service
- 5/5
Great customer service from all of the staff. Room was clean and bed very comfortable.
- 4/5
staff was vary courteous/friendly. room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Friendly staff clean room the restaurant was excellent great food great price. Easy check in. One downside is paying 28 dollars a night for parking for that price they should have a valet
- 3/5
Room was average, probably wouldn’t stay here again. Staff and restaurant were great
- 5/5
Aesthetically pleasing with the art displays and unique design. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Spa was awesome and gym was adequate.

- 5/5
The timing was so short
- 2/5
We visited 10/30-11/3. No AC. It was 55-60 and it was too warm in the room to sleep. The desk had stain all over. Carpet stains. The free breakfast was horrible but the restaurant breakfast was good. The hotel has a run down vibe. Nothing like the pics.
- 4/5
The room was great. The bathroom needed a little extra attention
- 5/5
Didn’t eat it
- 2/5
The bathroom lighting was poor and didn’t have a heat outlet, it felt like a closet.
- 5/5
I just love this hotel. Rooms are great, beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is amazing. The bar and breakfast are the best in town!
- 5/5
The room was clean
- 5/5
Great area to be in! Everything is within walking distance.
- 3/5
eggs were overdone due to being kept hot too long. sausages were substandard, coffee was ok.
- 5/5
Great hotel - very clean, friendly staff,
- 4/5
The staff was courteous and did seem genuinely helpful. The lobby and convention area we used was fabulous. Our room was good. The elevators are fast. The AC was very insufficient and my stay in October. I was very glad the windows opened up a few inches. Every night, however, a white sports car would rev and race every so often into the late night hours (they even did it during the day; this person is. There's a college nearby maybe a student but it was very loud and maddening. Every night without fail and at least 4-5 times every 30 minutes.
- 2/5
Spent $300 a night for thier most expensive room and had a tub that did not drain, shower head so caked with buildup that there was no water pressure, carpet was dirty, gross, and stained. And if you stay there be prepared that they will charge you $30 per night to park and not inform you about it. Ive had better rooms at a holiday inn than this place. I will never be returning to this hotel.
- 5/5
My room was clean and extremely comfortable and the staff friendly, courteous, knowledgeable about the area and professional
- 5/5
Room was great. Barkeep was surly about having to serve free drinks.
- 2/5
We called the front desk for an extra blanket, but it was far too thin to keep warm. By 11pm we were woken up from the cold and had to request another proper down duvet just to get back to sleep. For a four-star hotel, this was by far the worst duvet experience I’ve ever had. I have stayed in motels with better bedding. For the price and the rating, I would never have expected something this poor in comfort and quality.
- 3/5
There was some dist left on the table of our room and the back of the door had some paint chipped off.
- 2/5
No covered area to pull up to check in and unload. It was pouring rain and horrible parking situation that we had to wait and turn around several times to even pull up. Then probably 30 min wait to just check in. We were soaking wet and the lines were so backed up at 10pm. Only two ice machines worked on random floors. Also, because it was so busy waiting for the elevators took so long it wa a pain to just find ice. Also bathroom floors seemsed gross. Rest seemed ok. We did call the front desk although phone in room also didn't work unless we put on speaker we finally figured out. Overall, I won't stay here again because of the lines and having all of us and our stuff completely soaked.
- 5/5

Needs to be better maintained

- 5/5
Hotel Murano was great.
- 5/5
Always love staying at Murano. Clean rooms, nice beds, lovely downstairs and bar area. Plus, it's super walkable a d cloae to geeat restaurants and bars.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
I wasn't terribly impressed with this hotel. My Mom, who I brought for her birthday, is very sensitive to smells. There is definitely a scent in the place, not unpleasant, just very noticeable if you're sensitive. Checking in was so-so, checking out, the person at the desk looked at us but literally didn't say a single word to us. I wouldn't stay here again.
- 4/5
very clean and safe area, the personel is very profesional.
- 5/5
Fabulous glass art makes this a favorite destination.
- 5/5
This is my favorite place to stay in Tacoma - they are in a great walkable area- safe parking - pet friendly - amazing staff
- 5/5
Staff is on point!!!Clean room. Very convenient on having restaurant in the hotel.
- 4/5
Hotel was beautiful, was in a great area. Only thing I absolutely HATED was the wifi. "High speed internet" is false as I had to keep reconnecting to the wifi, only had a solid 2 bars and I couldn't even watch a video let alone video call with anyone without having to use my roaming data. Made my experience soooo annoying. Then, when I wanted to ask front desk about it, found out the phone to my room was broken. It was a beautiful hotel and a great stay for the price, but in 2025 how come wifi is bad?
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. The bed was a little uncomfortable and squeaky but nothing unbearable. The bathroom could have been cleaner but overall a lovely stay.
- 1/5
The AC didn't work at all, so I had to go buy a fan to sleep with. The fridge was turned to the coldest setting, and our soda's were luke warm at best. For the prices I paid to eat at the restaurant, I expected way better food. I travel weekly for work, and this is probably the most unpleasant hotel stay I have had in a few years.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel with cozy and comfortable rooms, plus very friendly and efficient staff 👍
- 5/5
Clean room | friendly staff | bar
- 1/5
Hotel was dirty. Leaves and dirt all over the floor. No staff cleaning. This was the lobby. Outside there were no lights coming into the hotel. Not very safe at night
- 4/5
It was a quick stay. Friendly staff, decent rooms, and convenient location.
- 4/5
Easy accessible area! Staff very fried mt
- 5/5
I loved the property. My room was cute and I loved the vibe of the property
- 4/5
Staff is very friendly and rooms are very clean!
- 5/5
View from our room was spectacular, and great bed and pillows. Super clean rooms, though some of the common areas show a bit of age. Still 5 stars though - incredible value for the rooms and just enjoying all the art in this hotel.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel that is very clean. It is different than the cookie cutter hotels. It had a lot of character.
- 5/5
Always super friendly and clean. Close to everything. My number 1 place to stay when I visit Tacoma.
- 3/5
Poor upkeep of property
- 3/5
Not much direction from the staff and room was really hot.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and public areas. Close to transit and coffee shops
- 4/5
Everything was good. Only complaint was the pull out couch was uncomfortable to sleep on.
- 4/5
I stayed in this hotel in the last two nights. The hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. I like the bed as it is very comfortable. The area is very convenient and easy to travel around. Strongly recommended to you if you need to stay in a short trip.
- 4/5
Place was clean, bed was comfy. Found cute coffee shops close by.
- 5/5
Great place go stay!
- 5/5
Had a beautiful view of Mount Rainier from my room, easy parking steps from the front door. Walkable and there’s trolley stop 2 minutes from the hotel that will take you right to the Tacoma dome !
- 5/5
I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Murano. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return.
- 4/5
Hotel Murano was clean, convenient and kind. The facilities were excellent, the room was a little outdated but tidy and comfortable! Very handy for a night at the Comedy Club nearby, with a safe place to crash.
- 3/5
The bathtub had been painted over and the paint was peeling Someone used the iron on the carpet and melted some of it Atmosphere therefore not pleasant / also had a musty smell - not sure if someone had been smoking in there
- 5/5
We will be booking here again
- 3/5
Got a coupon for free drinks but the wait was long to be seated and get the drinks
- 4/5
Great views, clean enough room
- 3/5
The hotel was very pretty aesthetically but arrived into our room to discover the shower did not work as I was getting ready to shower. Informed the front desk and was first told there was anything they could do. Very discouraging. After about 20 minutes received a call to switch rooms. Overall ended well but the stress of it took energy away from the night. Was late for dinner reservations and just made the best of it.
- 3/5
The hotel and staff is great, however if you check in late your choices to grab dinner/food is very limited. A hotel of this caliber should offer a late night room service option instead of recommending Uber Eats or DoorDash
- 5/5
One of the best beds ever!!! Really a lovely property and great dining in and around the hotel. Do park with the hotel, though, nighttime vandalism in Portland is a thing.
- 4/5
Very clean rooms, staff were nice.
- 5/5
I wish the rooms had two queens instead of two doubles :)
- 5/5
Lovely lobby and nice rooms. Excellent location for walkability. Just 2.5 blocks to the opera.
- 5/5
Good location, lots of great glass art in the hotel.
- 4/5
It was convenient Location for us. I didn't eat at the restaurant just pretty much slept tgere. The gym was mostly a cardio gym with weights from 12 pounds to 25 no in between. One of the leg machines didn't work. Was a clean place to stay
- 5/5
There were several people with pets. The staff gave me the name of a fabulous breakfast place
- 4/5
The staff was great, the hotel is a bit old so strange sounds from plumbing and the furniture was a tad beat up. Having said that the service was great!
- 5/5
It was really good! It was nice get away as needed.
- 3/5
Rooms are old and falling apart door handle was falling of counter top were missing pieces really need to remodel! Staf was super nice and bar area was nice just old rooms.
- 4/5
I did run into some issues with housekeeping during my stay, but once I brought it to the attention of the General Manager, they responded quickly and took the concerns seriously. I really appreciated the professionalism and how promptly things were handled. Because of that great customer service and how well the situation was resolved, I would definitely consider staying here again despite the initial issues.
- 5/5
Nicely appointed rooms. Great views! Lovely spaces. Breakfast service was outstanding! Food was excellent.
- 3/5
This property is amazing from the lobby and bar/restaurant area. Our room was worn out - broken chair, stained tables, drapes missing etc. Some common areas also are tired ie the stair treads, elevators have broken glass. This hotel is epic, beautiful and has potential, and deserves attention. More positives than negatives.
- 4/5
Great view of Mount Rainer.
- 5/5
Hotel was great, are of the city is a little sketchy.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Clean, beautiful views.
- 3/5
bathroom sink didn't drain. toilet seat loose. room refrigerator defrosted and left a mess. asked for maintenance and it didn't get done
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel with Friendly staff and lots of beautiful glass Sculptures and art.
- 5/5
Great views - wonderful service - loved the art work all over and a great old fashion :)
- 4/5
Room was nice. I would have liked a microwave in the room, though.
- 5/5
Very cool architecture.
- 1/5
To be fair the hotel is supposedly going to be going through a renovation. This is good because everything was very outdated, in the room. Also noticed a bad musty, mildew smell in rooms (tried 3 rooms to find one that wasn’t). the a/c air filter has probably never been changed as every time I turned it on the smell that came out if it was pretty offensive. Perhaps the worst thing about the hotel was the artificial and toxic cologne smells in the lobby, elevators etc making it impossible to enjoy the communal areas or eat at the restaurant. It reminded me of the days of stepping into an Abercrombie & Fitch store. Totally overpowering smell that made you want to run for the hills. I feel bad for the hotel staff. Whatever they’re piping through their air vents is completely toxic, and bad for their health.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Parking is very expensive. I didn't see that listed in the description. $28 for one night. The room is fine. Nothing special. Kind of old and dingy. Bed is nice and comfortable. Stained carpet. Stained shower. No water bottles in room. Outdated furnishings. Kind of surprising after seeing how nice the lobby and other facilities are
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Really had a boring bad room. For the price it did not synch up. The wood ont eh desk looked like a college dorm room. The bar downstairs was nice, but there is no rooftop bar overlooking the bay. I could hear street noise in my 5th floor room. I would not give them another chance.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Bartender Adam was great.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great staff and location
- 3/5
The hotel is beautiful when you walk into the lobby. There's a gorgeous bar that is never attended. No, one serves you at all. They don't have a spa or a pool, and all the rooms literally look like they are the same ones from 1980 when they built the hotel. There's water spots everywhere. The bed is lumpy. Most of the things in the room don't work. I had to be switched to another room. Because my phone and my AC didn't work.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and spacious bedroom
- 1/5
We actually left the hotel and did not stay the night. A combination of a very peculiar smell pervasive not only in the common spaces and our room. The room was tiny, smelly and ill equipped -There was very little lighting in the room and a TV that had perhaps been hit - leaving 10s of vertical lines so that didn't even provide a distraction. My card was charged for incidentals- but there was nothing to purchase in the room- but given the clientele in the common spaces it was probably more like a damage deposit. I travel to Tacoma at least weekly to see my grandchild and was thinking I could stop commuting if this was comfortable. Nope. And as a gold member of Expedia I expected better. When I went to the front desk to let the clerk know we weren't staying she shrugged her shoulders and didn't ask anything about why And there were signs on the lower doors saying they would be locked at night and to walk to the front- but they weren't ever locked. Not great in a neighborhood experiencing people with mental illness close by- heartbreaking. I knew I would lose the night's rental fee- I assume I will not be charged for incidentals but haven't received the promised email with my folio/receipt But the condition of the hotel combined with a lack of customer service is just inexcusable. We stayed because of the Art connection but I also know the Marriott is down the street and provides a much more consistent customer service experience - disappointing

Very comfortable beds! But the rooms were small and rather run down- the carpet was frayed and stained and the curtain had a rip in it. Staff were friendly and helpful and it is nice that they are pet-friendly.

Part of the downtown core of our old hometown.

Hotel was nice, bed was super comfy. Staff was friendly. Only thing that caught my eye was the worn carpet at the stairs in lobby

Clean and bright hotel with mostly friendly staff. Had some trouble with the system for housekeeping. Left the card on the bed as instructed and even asked housekeeping to add towels to our room, and recieved nothing. Overall the area is nice and the atmosphere is incredibly charming. Ebony and Ivory coffee and the theaters being down the street made for wonderful morning and evening walkable fun. Also would be great for a convention or tacoma dome event

The room I stayed in had bedbugs. It was to be a nice relaxing last day trip in Washington until this happen

Would be nice if there was a vending machine with a wider array of snacks. Going to the front desk is not very private, let say if you decide you want a 2nd candy bar. There is an otc vending machine that looks like it has every type of medicine under the sun near the exit to parking. We had hoping there would be a super deluxe vending machine like that for snacks.

Parking was $28/night and requires you to walk around to the front door to get in. Your parking spot is not reserved so you might come back and find that you have to park in a different parking lot a level higher and carry your bags down stairs and around the building. Breakfast is not included, but was pretty good and is priced appropriately for a hotel restaurant.

Customer service and texts were great!

Arrived Saturday for concert at Pantages, assigned rm 516. Window looks out over roof and air conditioning units. Fridge thick ice inside felt warm inside. Identified to front desk. Why were we assigned to low floor when hotel not busy. Accomodations appear somewhat worn. Adequate but smallish room.

Only two floors had ice available. I was on the 25th floor and I had to the 18th floor to get ice. My ice container did not have a lid. I stayed in the Executive room and honestly I was definitely disappointed. I would stay again just not in that room

Enjoyed our stay, the lobby is inviting and well-decorated. Staff was fantastic. Would stay again.

Room with a view, big and clean. Will definitely be booking again.

Promise of dining discount if we declined room service was never fulfilled. Request for room service on second night was ignored. $30/night parking fee was a surprise.

Not worth the price. The rooms are terrible. Pretty much like a motel room. Not worth the price

Great service. The rooms are a little dated and seemed to need some maintenance or refreshing. But the location and staff are amazing

The hotel is beautiful! All the artwork was amazing to see. Great service. Close to dining amd activities. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is gorgeous! Well located within easy walking distance to so many great places. The hotel is basically an art museum - wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable with great views.

Very pleasant and the art was great to see too.

My second stay here. The first was absolutely perfect. This time were given 2311 and there was a constant banging noise coming from above. I would find it very hard to believe that it has never been mentioned before. I don’t think, because of this I would ever return.

The hotel is renovated and they added some really nice artwork to give it a modern feeling. The rooms are comfortable but still have the refurbished feeling. We hoped that our room would have been cleaned and towels and coffee filled but this didn’t happen even after we returned a text asking if we needed anything. I also paid for parking and the info was entered in by the front desk incorrectly so I got a parking ticket. I was hoping to like this stay but it was not the best.

This place is our second home whenever we go to the Philippines. Staffs are awesome! Service is great! Couldn’t ask for anything better ❤️

The bartender, Adam, he made our stay. Would recommend Hotel Murano solely based on his level of service and amazing personality.

Room was okay, not what I expected from a 4 star hotel- minor cleanliness issues and listened to a crosswalk or alarm beep all night while on the 19th floor. Half the elevators had hand written signs that said the panel doesn’t work. Had to pay $28 for parking in the lot a five minute walk from the front doors. Staff (except the gentleman that checked me out) left something to be desired with their attention or care. None were rude but they were not friendly either. Waitress at the restaurant forgot my dessert on my to go order and acted like I was inconveniencing her when I came back down stairs to get it- I was polite. I spent over $40 on dinner that was bland- nothing good was the crab chowder and dessert.

Always enjoy staying at the Murano. My only complaint iscthat the parking is expensive.

Great stay but there was a lot of mechanical noise from I think the elevator. Also the hvac was pretty weak.

The hotel is truly amazing. The art work is intriguing! The rooms are adequately appointed. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too hard and lumpy. We enjoyed our stay and were quite pleased with the staff and the housekeeping staff were so pleasant and accommodating!

Beautifully designed, well thought out and comfortable.

Great hotel, my only issue was how rough the sheets were. Otherwise the hotel was great. Great location across from the convention center, walking distance to the glass museum and Foss Waterway. Absolutely perfect view of Rainier.

great location, friendly staff, bar and restaurant in hotel, close to Tacoma museums. Contemporary decor with focus on glass art.

It’s a beautiful hotel. It’s a little sketchy at night if wandering away from hotel and the bar closes too early. If they have people that want to stay they should try and stay open later. Noticed a wedding party being turned away at ten pm

Great place to stay when seeing a show at the Tacoma Comedy Club. Had a great experience at the hotel and the bar staff was great as well. Will be our new go to!

Condition of the room was disappointing, Ice machine inoperable and the bar is closed on Sunday. I went to a different hotel for my next night in town.

Carpets in lobby were very worn.

Great hotel with good location. Unfortunately, the man behind the bar on our stay tried to overcharge and when it was politely pointed out he said °Go f""k yourself° loud enough for us all to hear. As a consequence of this we will not be staying again. This is a shame as we have been a couple of times and due to family living close we had planned on going again.
