Katelyn greeted me at check-in and was more than helpful as my nerves were frazzled from finding this remotely located site. You need better signage!! Despite reconstruction ongoing at second floor, clean-up was also ongoing. Breakfast was tasty, offered nice and vast variety beyond your signature cinnamon rolls. All personnel were helpful and friendly.

Very helpful and friendly front desk staff at check in. The kids enjoyed the pool, the beds were comfy. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast.

Convenient location off of 690. Cleanliness, staff was helpful. Breakfast was delicious!!! Although they were in the middle of renovations, the public areas were very clean. It was a nice touch to have cookies, apples and ice water in the lobby for the taking.

Everything was clean and the breakfast was good....better than most in other hotels ive stayed in. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We plan on staying there again when we're in the area.

The bed was very comfortable, and there was a blanket available to use instead of the duvet which I really appreciated. Also, there was a fan in the bathroom which seems to be less common in hotels now. The breakfast started early in the morning and had a good variety of options.

Great stay. Easy to get to university. About 15 minute drive. Clean accommodations and great breakfast options. We were lucky to stay in a newly renovated floor. Very comfortable.

Very overpriced for the lack of amenities . The hotel staff was very friendly but the place is very basic . The pool area is not appealing at all and the property is under renovation therefore the plumbing is not the greatest .

Our room was clean and quiet . The bed was very comfortable with great pillows and bedding. The hvac system worked well. The hotel is under renovation and our room was quite dated and drab. Hopefully it is on the agenda to be updated. Sufficient amenities were available. It is very easy to get to the fairgrounds from this hotel. The location is rural with trucking type businesses next door. Few restaurants are nearby except for a large modern sportsbar/ restaurant around the corner. The pros outweigh the cons of this hotel and I would stay here again.

We stay at Holiday Inn Express for several reasons but one is the automatic pancake machine. Unfortunately the machine was broken and not available for our stay.

We stayed November 29th, the lady on the front desk at 8pm, was awesome, so so kind and helpful!! I wish I would have gotten her name!! She deserves a raise, no one is that kind and accommodating anymore!! She was wonderful!

Honestly, I was a little disappointed staying here. We stayed in room 317 which is a handicap room. There was absolutely no outlets but the beds not even the lamp or desk like most hotels. I had to move the table and move lamps from the desk so my mother could plug in her sleep breathing machind. I did as the front desk for an extension cord but they had none. I was really surprised with the outlets because its a handicap room so while it was roomy, if you have people with you, you cant plug anything by the beds besides the lamp we had to move (your welcome Hyatt) to keep a lot plugged in. The room was clean and the beds were descent, I have slept in better. Front staff was friendly however breakfast staff gets 3 stars. I wont go into full detail, however 2 of the workers were definitely on the lazy side. I was really upset with breafast the first morning because we got in late so we slept in. I understand breafast closes at 10 but they didnt have to close it on us ehile we were grabbing some stuff. They could of atleast asked if we needed anything before shutting us out. I was starving. We felt like we were intruding when it wasnt even 10.

Check in was very easy. The desk clerk was very pleasant. The room was clean and quiet. I asked for extra towels and they were delivered within a couple of minutes.

Comfortable bed, good pillows, quiet hotel on a Saturday night. Some cosmetic issues in the bathroom - peeling wallpaper, etc - that I wouldn't have expected in a $200+ night room. Nice selection of hot breakfast. Ample parking, but was located off the beaten path and in a kind of deserted spot. Overall good for a quick night of sleep but probably wouldn't do a long stay here.

The property is well-maintained. The lobby m, breakfast and dining areas have been updated and are attractive. We were told the first floor guest rooms have been renovated. Our room was on the third floor and not yet renovated but aside from the bathroom- it wasn’t very noticeable (that the room was outdated). The carpets were old/stained but the furniture and mattress was in good condition. Hotel is pet friendly (with $50 fee) which is very convenient. The grounds of the hotel were kept very clean and well-maintained. There is a grassy field in front of the hotel that is very overgrown it it doesn’t negatively impact the overall look of the hotel. The hotel is well-lit at night and plenty of parking. This is one of the better hotel choices in the area.

This hotel was a perfect place to stay for Syracuse Parents' Weekend. Besides a good location and a decent price, the staff was wonderful. Beyond friendly, super helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Hotel installed new check in system which the night desk did not know how to work it. Called assistance but no answer initially. Check in took a long time at 30 minutes past midnight.

The cot had springs coming right through the thin mattress. I put a bunch of clothes on top so I could not feel the springs. Otherwise it was fine.

Nice and clean easily accessible

I was hoping to come to a 9/10 hotel with a 10/10 hotel as advertised. Unfortunately, I checked into my room and a cockroach appeared on the adjoining door and crawled back in disappearing through the door crack. I was not trying to get crawled on in the night and who knows if more were there. The front desk person was helpful but it's a letdown that the only room left had two queen beds. I love hotels for massive king beds so it's disappointing and not what I paid for. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable and the breakfast is delicious.

They used to have a shuttle to the NYS fair this year they did not. Not sure I would stay there again b/c of this.

Stayed here while visiting relatives in Camillus. It is an okay hotel in the middle of nowhere, nothing walkable. Bathroom sink was slow, fluorescent lighting was constantly flickering, shower lukewarm. Breakfast was decent, not "excellent" like some others commented, although the staff was very helpful and the coffee was very good. I never saw anyone at the front desk other than at check in, and the tub faucet demonstration was frankly weird.. Daily housekeeping was a plus, but I'd definitely recommend bringing your own products. Elevator was slow and shaky, made me a little nervous. Not sure I'd stay here again. The price was good but it's a little too remote. It's a Holiday Inn Express, if you've ever stayed at one, you know what to expect.

This is a nice hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere which provides a very quiet atmosphere. It is next to a moving and trucking company so it is not a scenic entrance. The breakfast was nice. Staff are friendly. The room was clean.

Not up to the standard I’ve seen from Holiday Inn Express, but still a good hotel. A bit pricy for the quality, but maybe that was a surge pricing. Breakfast was missing some items I usually see at a HIE hotel, and the room was not quite as nice as usual. This is obviously another brand hotel that’s been purchased and rebranded, and they’ve done their best. The real downside is the location. It’s not convenient to the freeway, and not near any services except a sports bar a short walk away. Basically this is in the sticks.

This was our second stay at this hotel while visiting the area, and once again, it didn’t disappoint! The sports bar/restaurant located just behind the hotel made everything so convenient—it was great having a good meal just steps away. The staff was consistently helpful and very friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. As long as there’s availability, we’ll definitely continue to stay here whenever we’re in town!

We were traveling very late and found this hotel on Expedia. Called the front desk to let them know we would be arriving later and Katie was so sweet! She put us at ease that we would be able to check in later with no problems. Front desk clerk got us checked in quickly and was very kind. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff were monitoring area to clean and refill food as it was taken.

It was rather noisy throughout the night with people in the hallway and the people staying upstairs were constantly walking back and forth.

We stayed for the weekend of my daughter graduation at Syracuse. This was close, easy access to the highway. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were more than amazing and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we come back.

When we checked in it was pouring rain. My family sat in car while lady at front checkin kept yaking on a personal phone call. She mentioned several times to her friend that she had people waiting on her, but she kept yaking for several a long time. She was rude to continue her personal phone call. If she is getting paid, why shouldn’t she take care of customers instead of talking to friends or family?

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The facily is clean and the beds are pretty comfortable! We did have an issue with having no hot water on Saturday morning though which was pretty inconvenient. However the hotel was booked full with wrestlers and families in town for the state championships(also why I was there). I did not complain to staff about this because I tried to just understand the situation, and there was hot water again that night. Overall a great place to stay!!

We came during construction which was okay it’s not around anything so make sure you have a vehicle also I didn’t know pets where allowed but it’s a good place to stay overall

I stay here every year when I’m in Syracuse for a trade show. This year I was a little surprised that they were under massive construction and wasn’t noted before I arrived but excited to see the new upgrades. Their customer service is better than any 5 star hotel I’ve stayed at. It snowed (like it always does in Syracuse) and when I went out to my truck I realized my truck windows were cleaned off, then I looked around the parking lot and saw they did everyone’s. Top notch!! Very appreciated

Room was clean and beds comfortable, breakfast was a good variety. Currently undergoing renovations - no impact to us. There was a lot of snow and parking lot/driveway were maintained. Only concern was it was almost drafty on the side of the bed nearest the windows. When the heater came on, it would be manageable but when heater shut off, it got frigid quickly.

Out in the middle of an industrial park. Clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. Do you're a favor and DO NOT go to Jammers to eat, absolutely disgusting!!! No other restaurants near this location if that is important to you.

Location is interesting - it takes a circuitous route to get there from the NYS Thruway exit 39. Also, if roads are slippery, as often is the case in central NY in wintertime, be very careful coming down the steep hill on Walters road before taking that left onto Winchell - I nearly ended up down a ~20 ft embankment on the NE corner of that intersection despite only taking the turn at a couple of miles/hour. Glad I had 4WD and ABS but still had to pump brakes a bunch to stay on the road to make the turn.

The location of the hotel is in an industrial area. No restaurant nearby. Room was dated but there were signs that they are renovating. The pool area was nice. It looked like it was recently renovated with new tiles. Good variety of food at breakfast (healthy choices). We were disappointed to learn that we paid more with Expedia than if we had booked on the hotel website (about $30 more!).
