Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's location, free breakfast, and happy hour offerings. The staff is often praised for being friendly and helpful. However, cleanliness and maintenance issues are frequently mentioned, with guests expressing dissatisfaction over dirty rooms, worn furniture, and malfunctioning amenities. Some guests also express frustration with the hotel's pricing and value for money.

I had no light switch in the room had no idea how to turn the lights on and then when I figured out there is no main switch only two small lights worked. The big light in the middle did not work. The phone on that same power source was not working either. The room was very warm when I got there and it took a few hours to cool down and was not the most comfortable. In all honesty I also did not report any of this until I checked out.
- 5/5
The charge for parking was not clear from the summary on Expedia. Need to know that there is a $15 charge, which seems unwarranted given all the empty land surrounding the property.

What surprised to see an awesome complementary breakfast with a omelette bar !! Will be coming back again.
- 4/5
The breakfast did not have many healthy options… no plain yoghurt only sweetened and full of coloring, no brown bread only white.. for a diabetic no options. Everything else was fabulous

Very convenient place to stay. Staff was very friendly and attentive

The room was not as clean as I feel it should be. The place is beautiful and we loved the stay. The night auditor or front desk gentlemen on May 30th 2026 Saturday evening was very unfriendly and had an attitude to open front door for us because the card wouldn't work. He should exude more professionalism. I have managed hotels before and he definitely needs to be more professional even if your not happy with your job or whatever the reason.
- 4/5
The staff and the amenities are fantastic but the carpets and the some of the furniture need an upgrade or a good deep cleaning
- 4/5
Check-in and out staff were awesome, young male at check in was incredible.
- 5/5
Pool was very dirty

Upon entry, the hotel is grand and clean. Staff were nice. Variety for breakfast, and I liked the freshly cooked eggs, but it wasn’t anything special. Our room could be cleaner. I noticed dust underneath the bathroom sink and on the baseboards. The bath sink faucet needs to be scrubbed in the crevices. I noticed some kind of filthy build up when the handle was lifted. Also, for a parking lot that big, it’s ridiculous to charge for parking.

My son said it was the nicest hotel we ever went to thus far…absolutely loved the room..it was a suite with two queen beds and seperate family room with a sofa bed. I adored that my name was on the tv as a welcome and they gave us complementary two drinks, each during happy hour. There were snacks there and the breakfast buffet that we got was amazing! The omelettes were the best I’ve ever had! The pool was OK, there were a lot of kids on the truck though not a fan of sharing a smaller size pool and the gym was OK. I will definitely be looking more rooms at Embassy suites.

Everything was good, well maintained, guided.

Excellent girls-getaway weekend, loved every second and we always look forward to spending time at Embassy and Destiny. My daughter looks forward to our getaways to Embassy more than you know and this weekend was a great one. Thanks to all for a great room, wonderful staff and an overall excellent time.

Average. I was missed the appetizer, things like broccoli, salads, or cucumber. Meat was very salted. Staff did not show me where the elevator was located or the floor where my room was located. He did not check my identity to make sure he had the right person. After he asked my name, he then asked me to swap my visa card and gave me the electronic key. I thought he should check my driver's license to the name I stated to him.

The only place to stay when visiting Syracuse. Minutes away from all the best spots

Mind you, I am a grandmother in my sixties, traveling with my adult daughter and 4 grandchildren under the age of 12. I literally walked my grands around the room to show them how a hotel room should be left. I left a generous tip after only 1 nights stay. I have made no less than 6 phone calls trying to reach a manager rather than voice mail. No return phone calls after 7 hours. I am told there are pictures (with the incorrect room number shared with me), but they couldn’t be shared with me unless by the manager. Other than needing a vacuuming of snack crumbs after our departure (NOT a deep cleaning that the front desk staff reports from housecleaning), EVERYTHING- fridge, sinks, beds, furniture, towels were left in an acceptable condition. What is going on that a large chain cannot offer immediate and communicative customer service? I truly hope this is quickly resolved because other than this unacceptable cleaning charge, our stay was excellent. Now I have 4 children worrying about what they did wrong rather than having a joyful memory of their weekend birthday getaway.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was excellent and very convenient, which made the overall experience even better. The hotel was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-maintained, and I appreciated having plenty of room to comfortably settle in with all of my belongings. The bed was very comfortable, which allowed me to relax and get a great night’s rest. I was also very impressed by how friendly, welcoming, and professional the staff was throughout my stay. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel valued as a guest. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and would gladly stay here again in the future. The only thing that I wish could’ve been was the bar and restaurant to be open a little bit later. Being on vacation or I guess being away from home, I don’t typically go to bed as early, so it’ll be nice to have those options or even room service. Another thing it would’ve been nice if the gym was a tad bigger maybe had a Smith machine or a little bit more equipment to get a nicer workout.

Yes the breakfast menu was fresh think that turkey bacon should be also a selection on the menu or sausage but overall it was great, to top it off the dinner was amazing thank you. The bar and the staff was amazing. I will definitely be back again.

The receptionist forgot to turn our wifi access and phone on. We were there on a Friday... and from 9-1 AM all we heard were cars drag racing on the road between the mall and the hotel. It was very loud!! The lobby was modern and normal and the breakfast buffet was nice.

Clean and pristine features, good variety for breakfast, attentive staff. The screaming kids running the hall, unattended by parents. I know this isn’t the property’s fault, but it was just very annoying. I came to this hotel to relax and get away from my everyday life, just to listen to the same thing I have at home was a little frustrating personally. That is my only dislike.
- 2/5
The zym and the pool were in terrible shape. It was a torture for us. We couldn’t stay longer than 15 min. I didn’t write that it was terrible. It was worse than terrible. It was a torture.

Fridge didn’t work . There was blood in the shower . They gave us the wrong room in the beginning and lights where out by the bed in the new room
- 4/5
The location is nice —if you have a car. It’s near the mall where there is a Starbucks (but it was closed) so that was a bummer. Free breakfast buffet was great. We had three rooms and they all had issues with the TV/cable. Shows would stop working —almost like a lost connection. Frustrating. Shower pressure okay
- 4/5
Room is clean. The snacks set up in the bar is good. We did not use the free drinks (the wine is not to my taste). Don’t love the TV /cable Situation. We had several rooms and each room had the same issue. Cable blanks out. Tv looses connection. Can’t what a game without getting disappointed when the connection disappears.

Upon arrival, we requested a second luggage rack. It never came. On our second day there our room was never cleaned. So all the garbage from the day before, and the beds were not maintained.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff very friendly. Great food and amenities including nice pool, golf simulator, great restaurant and comfy rooms.

Hotel staff welcomed us warmly. King suite was nicely equipped. Enjoyed nice dinner in restaurant. Unfortunately we could stay for reception hour in bar with complimentary drinks. Went to Destiny Mall right across the street to see Leanne Morgan comedy show. Enjoyed greatl complimentary breakfast next morning and relaxed with a swim in the pool before 12pm check out. Recommend the Syracuse Embassy Suites and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great getaway! Hotel was beautiful. Staff very friendly. Great food and amenities including nice pool, golf simulator, great restaurant and comfy rooms.

Rooms were huge and loved the layout of the space we had.
- 5/5
Was great
- 2/5
The carpets, the couch, and the couch mattress were stained. Some countertops were dirty. The refrigerator badly hummed all night. The restaurant and bar were great.
- 4/5
I really enjoy this hotel, though it is very pricey. Room was great, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding with the omlets. Paying for parking feels a bit silly, which is why I'm rating 4 stars (overall price and parking.)
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast and great stay. Always a pleasure.
- 5/5
My family recently stayed here and we were thoroughly impressed with the service, rooms and amenities of the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan on staying here again in the future. Thank you for a great experience!
- 4/5
Great location. Property was enjoyable. Only issue was the cleaning of reception area during managers reception was poor. Tables were sticky. Gym also had no cleaning products. Overall, I would recommend and enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
great safe location free made to order breakfast
- 4/5
Unfortunately our room was dirty the was staining all over the couch and the shower floors had hair.
- 5/5
Great place for families!
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel was perfect. Staff was great, bar was great, and the complementary breakfast was sooooo good. Didn’t taste like the typical comp breakfast. And the man who was making the omelettes was singing his absolute heart out by himself and I loved it, haha. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in Syracuse :)
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
Great breakfast and communication
- 5/5
Absolutely the best breakfasts around! So conveniently close to the Destiny USA mall as well
- 5/5
Aidan at the front desk check in was welcoming and personable. He conversed with me and it didn’t seem phony or an obligation as part of the job. It made a positive impression!
- 5/5
Place was clean very friendly and helpful would stay again!
- 5/5
Great hotel and location! Super clean, nice spacious suites, great evening reception with 2 complimentary drinks, perfect breakfast spread including cooked to order omelettes! Staff very friendly and accommodating! Overall perfect stay will be back.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
The hotel was beautifully maintained and the beds were very comfortable, enabling a great night's sleep before our half-marathon!
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, but our room was dark musty and air conditioner wasn’t strong enough. Happy hour was great. Enjoyed breakfast. Outside grounds lacked ambiance.
- 5/5
Had an unexpected flight cancellation - it was awful but embassy suites at Destiny made it so much better for a night! Thank you all so much!
- 5/5
Room clean, front desk was extremely nice, breakfast fantastic, beautiful
- 4/5
Always enjoy this embassy and its proximity to the mall and city.
- 4/5
Perfect wee night getaway with my 4 yo grandsons. They had a blast in the pool, loved having control of their own TV in our suite and made a big deal of getting their own food at breakfast!
- 4/5
Location was amazing, staff was super friendly. A few of us got very early breakfast. Booked it for my bachelorette trip. Nothing crazy, just local shopping and activities. Bought two deluxe suites. It was a few little things I had a problem with; pool was super small so after three families in it, it was “full”. The A/C in one of the rooms was broken and it reached 72 in there, they did bring box fans. Our door kept getting stuck and it was VERY hard to open. I would potentially book again for a short over night trip or something, but not for anything “important”.
- 3/5
The pull out couch was dirty, but everything else was clean
- 2/5
Our first room had no functioning electrical outlets and the in-room phone did not work. After several unanswered attempts to contact the front desk from my personal phone, we were moved to another room. The second room also had several problems including a broken refrigerator, a broken kitchenette drain, a non-working television, and again a non-functioning room phone. Additionally, only one of the hotel’s three elevators was operational during the stay, and there was a concerning incident involving unsupervised children engaging in unsafe behavior in the pool area. These issues were acknowledged by the hotel, but no refund was offered. When I contacted Expedia customer service for assistance, I expected some level of advocacy or support given the documented problems with the property. Unfortunately, the representatives I spoke with were not able to provide meaningful assistance and ultimately denied my request for a refund. I understand that hotels operate independently, but part of the value of booking through a platform like Expedia is the expectation that customer service will help resolve situations when accommodations clearly fail to meet basic standards. I hope Expedia reviews situations like this more carefully in the future and provides stronger support to customers when legitimate concerns arise.
- 5/5
We love staying here, we come every few months for a mother/daughter getaway and trip over to all the activities at Destiny. Love the staff and our room and we definitely feel at home. We had some loud teens/kids banging on peoples doors our first night which was pretty startling and made us jump for sure! (Who lets their kids do that?) but everyone had fun. The pool is wonderful if you go at the right time - it is a hot mess otherwise, total chaos with crowds and crowds of unsupervised kids and balls flying around! Again fun but tough if you have younger kids or 8yo who just want to swim and enjoy. But aside from that, a wonderful experience as always, love the improved security with parking too! See you again soon!
- 2/5
Pool was crazy; they definitely have people from outside coming in to use it even though there are signs but no one actually monitors it which is unfortunate for those who pay and abide by max occupancy room permits. Turned on the TV to see Netflix and Disney+ apps but the TV’s aren’t actually connected to WiFi (in 2026) - called the FD who confirmed this. Then, flipped to the cable guide and no luck there either so I called back down only to be told the entire 5th floor had no cable. It never came back on during our stay. I had four 11 year olds who planned on a movie night so that was pretty disappointing. I was told it was being worked on but having worked in a hotel for 15 years, I’m not sure that was actually the case. Seems poorly run. Which for a Hilton is sad for the brand.
- 3/5
The food was horrible but everything else was great to expensive as well
- 4/5
Everything was great. The pull out couch did have an old sheet with stains on it like it had not been changed with the last customer. But otherwise it was a great room
- 5/5

Room had an unpleasant smell.

It was okay
- 1/5
Dirty, lacking room supplies, coffee creamer spoiled
- 5/5
Clean room and facility. Breakfast was better than I expected with exceptional staff. Very helpful. Key card didn't work and the guy at the front desk immediately took care of it. Plenty of parking and a walk to the mall. Would definitely stay again. Reception at night was good. Restaurant on site looked good but did not eat there.
- 5/5
Nice room, spacious and clean. Amazing breakfast, cocktail hour was a lot of fun.
- 5/5
Honestly, everything was perfect. If, i had to give you something to improve on. I would that there was a hanging light with exposed wiring, but its an easy fix. I will end up staying here again.
- 4/5
Spacious & clean rooms. I was concerned about the pool - there were large groups of kids that didn’t have adult supervision.
- 3/5
The advertised walkway to destiny usa mall was covered in snow, not salted and not shoveled. If your going to advertise a walkway to destiny USA then you have maintain it when it snows. The bed was very uncomfortable.
- 4/5
A great breakfast was included. Nice hotel, but we got a corner nook room with a very narrow window, which was a bit claustrophobic. Next time I would make sure I didn’t get that kind of room.
- 2/5
The sofa bed sheets were dirty, the phone and tv were not working. Staff was rude.
- 5/5
Room was spotless! It had a clean smell and it was a comfortable temperature when we arrived!
- 4/5
Room was super spacious. Check in staff was extremely efficient. Complementary breakfast was a nice touch. Made to order chef singing help lifted up the vibe! Great work.
- 5/5
Very comfortable bed. Nice and clean hotel
- 3/5
the not so great: the room was very small and the bed was not comfortable. If you prefer a very firm bed, you may love it but we did not. No one slept well. We were a touch disappointed that their walking path to the mall wasn’t covered or even plowed. We enjoyed the pool but thought it could have been cleaner. there was noticeable grime on some of the tiles but otherwise not too bad! the bad: at 9:30ish-am we got an insistent knocking on our door even though we have a do not disturb sign on the door. My husband answers and it’s a cleaning man who tells us we need to check out. Excuse me? Check out time hasn’t even approached yet. I’ve paid for this room until that point. If the management wants to knock after guests are supposed to have left or even call the rooms and politely tell them it’s time, fine. The rudeness of the knocking and dismissal were extremely off-putting to us. You’re telling me you needed the room that bad? Unprofessional for sure.
- 4/5
Room was clean, pleasant stay, great location next to the mall. Only issue was that the parking lot which was nearly empty was poorly plowed
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and room. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the hotel is right next to the mall and restaurants
- 3/5
The toilet was soiled. We had to repack and relocate to a different room.
- 1/5
We was accused of smoking in the room , when it clear on camera we enter and exit out the hotel and I smoked at the designated area . But because the manager found empty bags and weed on plastic tray he accused me of smoking in my room which was a complete lie and then decided to charge a smoking fee
- 5/5
Everything clean, lobby is spacious the happy hour and breakfast were great
- 5/5
What a great hotel!! Staff was amazing! Bar and restaurant was convenient and good.
- 1/5
I never checked in to my room, because of a snowstorm, and the service at the hotel was very unhelpful and unprofessional with my request to move the stay
- 5/5

The staff was amazing! They were all friendly and helpful! The cocktail hour was a nice bonus
- 5/5
Courteous staff and clean
- 1/5
The double queen bed suites feature a bathroom door that can't be locked (by design). This can be inconvenient from a privacy perspective when more than one person shares the room, which is the primary reason people choose two queen beds or a suite.
- 5/5
Christian from Loiza Puerto Rico in the front desk is the best…
- 4/5
Overall great stay
- 1/5
Last time we stayed same issue with room and the TV didn’t even work! 🖕🖕🖕

The room was spacious and the breakfast was exceptional! Location is great!
- 4/5
good
- 5/5
Everything about this stay and the staff and the additional amazing perks made our stay awesome! I will now only stay at this hotel!
- 1/5
Extremely dirty, and run down. They did not clean the rooms at all. I asked for a discount because I had to clean the hair, eyelashes, and other stains from the previous guest out of the bathroom myself, but I didn’t get one. There were gross stains on the mattresses and they didn’t change the linens.
- 5/5
Great hotel, great staff
- 4/5
Spacious rooms and variety of menu options
- 2/5
For being an Embassy Suites we expected luxury amenities and found scratchy paper products, a microwave missing it's turntable, a mini fridge without a shelf, and a missing remote for the TV.
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean
- 5/5
Joel was very helpful :)
- 4/5
Clean room, staff accommodating for room request/location, close to shopping center, two free drinks in evening, nice breakfast. Only room for improvement: pool was cloudy, no pool towels until an hour or so after opening, and the elevator space was messy in the morning and no one came to clean it for hours ( popcorn and other food on the floor, spilt coffee in the elevator with a caution sign).
- 3/5
The buffet was great however only one person was working the omlets which made the lineup masssive and not everyone in line had a chance to get one as they closed it before the line ended.
- 5/5
The room was clean, wonderful breakfast and happy hour.
- 3/5
Was charged $15 per vehicle per night, despite there being many acres of open parking all around the hotel. This seems to be beneath the standards of a Hilton that is not in an urban area with limited parking. Also, most of the parking lot was not plowed until over 24 hours after the snow, causing us to walk through feet of snow to get to Destiny USA mall and causing many vehicles in the parking lot to get stuck.
- 1/5
we have already told the management our concerns and won't stay at any Embassy suites ever.
- 2/5
The staff at the front desk at night were very nice.
- 5/5
Room was really nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
250 charge for incidentals seems ridiculous plus had to pay for parking
- 3/5
The parking lot was not plowed and it had snowed.
- 5/5
Breakfast was awesome
- 3/5
I was dispointed that people smoked weeds on a smoke free hotel, smell was strong until next day. Also during the night it was noisy in the hallway.
- 4/5
We LOVED the staff who worked at the bar and the restaurant. The morning omelette chef was entertaining and extremely efficient. The food was delicious! The evening happy hour food was broccoli, carrots & ranch; tortilla chips and salsa, and Carmel popcorn. We stayed in 608, which was very humid and had a strong chlorine smell upon walking in. There are some missing tiles in the bathroom. The bed I slept in (nearest bathroom) kind of sinks in the middle. The bathtub plug didn’t work to hold water for a bath. But on the bright side - the tub itself was clean! We stayed during a huge winter storm, so didnt make a fuss about any of that. They charge $15/night for parking. We were a bit shocked that despite paying this fee, the lots were not plowed thoroughly and all guests had to fend for themselves to get vehicles cleared. They had a huge dozer clear driving paths but no parking areas so finding a spot to park without getting stuck was a challenge.
- 2/5
Serviceable room. The common areas were always messy. There was a big snow storm and the hotel was completely ill equipped to get patrons out safely. Zero plowing, no shovels, and the sidewalks were never cleared or salted.
- 5/5
Nice stay. Good location
- 5/5
The gentleman who makes the omelettes is awesome. He kept the kids entertained while he was cooking their eggs and he was just fun to be around. He deserves a raise.
- 1/5
Tv and the phone in room was not working asked about it 2x said someone would come fix it never did
- 5/5
nice place,wonderful breakfast!
- 4/5
Clean rooms, great beds, friendly staff, easy access to the Destiny Mall , breakfast and happy hour.
- 4/5
Breakfast on Saturday was good. Not the hotels fault but way too many people there and not enough cooks. The man behind the omelette station was just amazing.! Our room desperately needs an upgrade in the living room. The only negative are the dogs that are there. For a person allergic to dogs, they should NOT be able to come for
- 5/5
Room was nice, they offered free drinks for adults, breakfast is hot, and delicious, walking distance to the mall. The Wi-Fi kept dropping, hard to see the game, besides that is a gorgeous hotel, good size parking too.
- 2/5
The biggest problem was the lack of hot water for showers. It got lukewarm at the most. The water pressure was low as well. One of the elevators was down which caused longer wait times. The room smelled weird. We tried to get a drink at the bar but the poor bartender was overwhelmed serving food and drinks so we left after waiting for 20 minutes. Housekeeping tried to clean our room at 8am (checkout is at noon). And the hotel in general is looking worn and shabby. For example, the chairs are peeling and dirty. Hilton needs to invest some money in the maintenance of this hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Enjoyed the room and how easy it was to access the mall from the hotel. Nice Staff, would stay again

I stayed in Corner Suite rm 629. The staff were excellent from check in to breakfast/check out. Super nice and had that place running like a well oiled machine. Pay them more 😄.
- 1/5
I was never told the hotel charges for parking. I later noticed a $32.40 charge on my card for 2 days of parking for my stay. This should be disclosed at some point during booking or check in.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Shocked that there's no enclosed walkway to the mall. You have to go outside and across a dangerous 4-lane intersection where people drive fast, then you can access a walkway. You'd think that a tunnel with keycard access would be just the thing when it's cold.
- 5/5
Very nice staff! Shout out to everyone who worked on Christmas Day!
- 5/5
Ease and cleanliness
- 5/5
I had a great stay at Embassy Suites. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The complimentary drinks at the bar were a nice bonus and really added value to the stay. Most of all, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The only issue my wife and I had was trying to order room service and no one would answer. otherwise everything was perfect.

The breakfast ended at 09:30 am in the morning which was very early and we missed it as we checked in late previous night.

The hotel is good. Staff is very good. Breakfast is also very good. But we had a bad experience during the breakfast. A guy sitting next to us started to talk to us insistently, almost aggressively, and since we didn't want to be impolite we stayed there waiting for the staff to do something, and although some servers identified the problem (because of the awkwardness), nobody approched him. I'm not even sure he was staying at the hotel or just having breakfast there.
- 2/5
Could not check in till 4:15, was disappointed.I had to wait around.

Clean room
- 5/5
Great stay. Clean and comfortable room, convenient location, and friendly staff. Everything went smoothly. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent staff at desk
- 3/5
Cons: The problem was the cleanliness. We were first given a room on the 7th floor which upon entering was trashed by the previous guests and wasn’t cleaned before we were given the room key. Mind you we checked in at 9 pm.We came back down and got another room without any issue. But the hallways were still full of tiny pieces of trash all over. Not sure if i have ever seen anything like this before. Overall a 6/10
- 2/5
The bar was good and the breakfast was great, the crowd in the hotel was sketchy there were men in ski masks in the lobby both nights just walking around watching people. The whole place smelled like marijuana and our central air did not work. The poloce were at breakfast due to an altercation and it was a bit too much. This hotel used to be great and now the wrong crowd stays there.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t ready upon arrival. Had to comprise to another room which smelled like mildew. Staff was ok but didn’t offer a later checkout, free parking just bottled water lol
- 5/5
Top Notch
- 5/5
Nice christmas decorations in lobby, good food and great room. The elevators are annoying as they are really slow though. Overall great hotel
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was excellent. The lobby, hallways and room were very clean. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Vouchers were given for 2 complimentary drinks at happy hour. Free breakfast. There’s a covered walkway to Destiny USA but you have to walk outside for a short walk to get to the walkway. Compared to our stay 2 years ago there is a new $16/stay parking charge. But overall I really recommend this hotel if you’re specifically going to the mall.
- 2/5
Disappointed that we were charged $15 for parking. Seriously in Syracuse NY, this hotel must be desperate for funds. There is more parking around this hotel than 4 car dealerships combined. Then a “security deposit” of $250 placed on my card never been required so much for incidentals. And we are not young party people but a couple out Christmas shopping. Anyway the room was clean and nice the canvas painting in the bathroom was moldy and the soap bottle was removed from the wall. The hallways were littered with food and garbage from other guests. And the elevator was broken so they had to take us up a service elevator. The breakfast was good. One guy busting out 7 omelettes at a time. He was great!
- 5/5
Only downside was the paying for parking!! You pay enough for your room should have to pay to park. Just saying
- 5/5
Room was clean.
- 5/5
very clean .. i love everything about this hotels !! i will be back
- 5/5
Nice room and very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Everything was great! Fernando and Joel had the answers to all my questions and made us feel very welcomed. The room wonderful, my kids loveeeed the view!!! We’ll definitely be back just hopefully on a higher floor.
- 5/5
Great! Clean room, nice amenities & friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was clean bathroom not so much.
- 5/5
Loved being so close to the mall. Great location!
- 5/5
It’s always an absolute pleasure staying here! Love the hospitality an clean rooms! Always makes it up to us if there is any issues! Great breakfast an fantastic service!
- 1/5
Staff rude and was never told of a holding fee smashed fingers ik heavy fast sliding bathroom door
- 3/5
When i areived i noticed children throughout the entire lobby. I first dismissed it, thinking ot was an event. I dont mind childern, but the chairs were wait on the second floor as i used them to take personal pic. The bar lobby were sole gatherwd for drinks the chairs were dirty and wet as well. The fireplace wasnt on, and napkins and plates were everywhere. I booked this location for the experience or being close to destiny as i had my birthday dinner there. Im really not sure if ill ever book that location again. Tbh
- 5/5
I was impressed with this property. Starting with the service levels from ALL staff members to the cleanliness of its room suites. Totally enjoyed my entire stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all family & friends. Thank You Embassy.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, bartender was awesome. Good breakfast
- 3/5
I don't understand why they charge to park your car $15.00 per night. There is enough available parking for at least 500 cars.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 1/5
The room was dirty; the carpet was stained, and the beds were also stained. There was dirty laundry in the room. I didn't want to complain anymore because I was tired. Also, the hallways had a very strange smell; I wouldn't know how to describe it, but I definitely won't be returning to that hotel or any other Embassy Suites hotel.
- 2/5
Breakfast was excellent for being complimentary. Room was ok. Sink and shower did not drain well.
- 4/5
everything, but the food.
- 3/5
The room wasn't cleaned daily. On one of the days we ran out of toilet paper. I called the front desk and waited 30 minutes for delivery. I finally went to the front desk, they had to send someone to the supply closet.
- 5/5
Great place to spend the night when visiting Syracuse campus. About a 15 minute drive to campus. Super nice rooms, clean, beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Second time staying there amazing each time. Thank you to the staff for always making that happen !! Strongly recommend
- 5/5
Friendly service
- 5/5
Room was clean, breakfast delicious. Complimentary drinks. The pillows weren’t very comfortable but that would be my only complaint.
- 5/5
Quick check in. Beautiful Hotel, room was very nice and well stocked. Friendly staff would recommend to everyone!
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Room had an odd odor bath tub backed up when showering
- 5/5
Yes room is alway phenomenally clean
- 3/5
Tissue box empty
- 5/5
Very clean Suite was very spacious
- 4/5
We would like to comment on your choice of newspaper in the lounge area however. The Epoch Times is a terrible choice for news. It is an extremely biased piece of propaganda and patrons would be much better served with the local Syracuse News. It was extremely disappointing to see in your hotel.
- 5/5
Yes everything was good
- 5/5
A lot of options for breakfast. Nice happy hour! Huge mall across the street!
- 1/5
Very disappointed that I still have not heard back. I had arrived at 4:15pm to check in to my room and was informed that room is still being cleaned. It was not a problem as my family and I can head over to Destiny USA for shopping and dinner. I proceeded to complete the process for parking and security deposit so that I can receive my digital key when my room is ready. All went smoothly. During dinner I was alerted on the app that my room is ready and digital key was provided. When we got back after dinner we proceeded straight to our room and unlocked the room with my digital key. When my son went to push open the door, we were greeted with a large dog barking at us. We were terrified as there were people and a dog in the room. We went back to the front desk to report this and was ensured that was our room, they have my name in their system. So somehow another family was in our room and my credit card was registered to the room. How is it possible that another person was given access to our room? The front desk proceeded to offer me another room but said they only have a first floor room left so I don’t have another choice. As a Hilton Honor member, I had pre selected my room, arrived on time for check in - but only to find random people have access to my room and be moved! Still no response from Embassy.
- 3/5
Quick check-in. Never a wait for elevatorsz not crowded. Room was pretty good size. Clean, very, very quiet and comfortable. Pool is pathetic. Cloudy, dirty pool deck, unheated and no hot tub. Disappointing for such a large property. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn-level fare. Nothing special at all, but the buffet was clean and it's free. Overall, a nice place to stay. Why it's so ridiculously expensive is beyond me. The day of check-in, I saw the rate that day in Google Maps. For that same price ($750) I could get a suite at The Palazzo and still have some change for the tables. Insane.
- 5/5
This was a very nice property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is not much around the hotel. There is a mall, but many of the stores were closed on Sunday and there were groups of roudy teenagers roaming though the mall.
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you are shopping at destiny USA. The two free drinks are a bonus!
- 4/5
The door to bathroom hit floor so was loud and scraps floor every time you opened and shut it. The tv stations is dish so came in and out. Small beds and pillows were uncomfortable
- 5/5
Staff has been amazing differently worth it.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Very close to mall with lots of dining and shopping options
- 4/5
The continental breakfast is one of the highlights… fresh, plentiful, and a great way to start the day. The only downside is the air conditioning units, which don’t always cool the rooms as much as we’d like, especially in warmer months. Still, the convenient location, cleanliness, and excellent service keep us coming back each visit.
- 2/5
The cleaning staff overlooked cleaning our rooms, making beds and change towels two consecutive days. It was brought to the attention of the front desk both times. Beds were made and towels changed only when I insisted on speaking to cleaning supervisor the second day. Disappointed and find this totally unacceptable .
- 5/5
Nice place. Everything perfect
- 3/5
We have stayed in this hotel many times. Front desk attendant was not nice. He charged us for parking. This was the first. We will be looking for other options.
- 2/5
We haven’t been there for over a year and now we will never be going back. My sister makes frequent stays at this hotel but after my experience that will also not happen again. First - now they are charging for parking!!! Second - Their bartender never showed up, so the 2 complementary drinks were not given. How hard is it to open a bottle of beer??? Third- the day of our check out, we left our room at 9:20 am to go down and have breakfast, when we returned to our room, housecleaning had already been in and stripped the bed!!! Check out is not until 11am. Our experience was so terrible. We will never return to this hotel.
- 5/5
It is a beautiful hotel. But it’s in the middle of nowhere. The staff is absolutely wonderful and can’t do enough for you. The facilities are beautiful. But there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. There is a mole across the way, but it looks a little sketchy.
- 5/5
Staff super friendly, made recommendations for dinner. Property clean and smells good
- 5/5
was a bit to warm in room and thrmo. was set to 68,,, felt more like 70's , next time i just bring a small fan i guess, The breakfest staff was spot on, made the stay !!
- 5/5

- 3/5
Overall a good stay
- 4/5
It was convenient
- 5/5
It was nice, clean and quiet. staff was friendly and was across the street from the mall and 10 minutes from the state fair
- 5/5
Great hotel, nearby Syracuse University and mall. Surrounding areas are not great, pretty ghetto. Now they charge $15 per night for parking to pay for security which leads me to believe crimes like car break-ins do occur here.
- 5/5
Great staff,
- 4/5
Staff were friendly! The hotel was quiet, with the staff caption of our AC, which we had to turn off because it was loud and made continuous rattling noise.
- 5/5
Very close to the NY State Fair
- 2/5
The place seemed to be having an A/C issue. We had a room that was blowing warm air, they kindly switched our room after acknowledging the A/C wasn’t working. But the second room wasn’t much cooler, the temp barely dropped at all. By this point we just wanted to settle in for the evening. After all the moving and getting ready for bed the cable stopped working for the night. For a Embassy suite the room was very crapped for 3 people. Noticed the Lobby had fans going, kinda giving and indication they knew they had some issues with the A/C. All and all not an enjoyable stay for the money. Also on a side note, charging 16 dollars for parking is a hussle and they should be called out on that nonsense.
- 5/5
Location good for Destiny USA Mall, SUNY ESA/Syracuse campus and airport.
- 3/5
Only redeeming factor is location.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, really clean and welcoming. Loved everything. Next to the mall. Amazing location if you are visiting Syracuse.
- 5/5
Eccellent
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 3/5
We’ve been coming to this hotel for years and always enjoyed the location. Reduced cleanliness and wear and tear of the rooms and furniture are really starting to show. Still like the hotel, staff and location but the draw isn’t what it was a few years back.
- 3/5
Still a good option. We may have just gotten unlucky with the room.
- 5/5
Room was great, as advertised. So convenient. Would highly recommend.
- 1/5
The bed in the room was dirty!

- 5/5
The room we had was great. Very spacious for me and my family. However, there was a few stains on the carpet that could be either replaced or shampooed. The pool was fun and the 24 hour fitness center was convenient.
- 5/5
Room was spacious, clean and quiet. The included breakfast was great as well as the onsite bar.
- 5/5
Great location beside the mall
- 5/5
The property is nice and conveniently located to myy family members house.

Omelet freshly made by chef. Made to order. Chef was friendly. Staff was nice hotel was close to venue and very nice. Will be staying again.
- 5/5
Loved the whole experience
- 2/5
The rooms for being a newer hotel were dirty and already showing wear. The staff was very unfriendly, like we were bothering them.
- 2/5
I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room to say the least. The bedroom had specks of glitter around it the carpets are stained all throughtout the entire room. And moat disguating of all was the pull out couch mattress was stained yellow, most likely urine.
- 1/5
My husband went downstairs to retrieve some clean sheets, and we ended up sleeping on the floor. The establishment refused to take responsibility for the booking error, leaving us frustrated and disappointed. To make matters worse, we paid over $500 for this unacceptable experience.
- 5/5
Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. The rooms were clean and great to stay in. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Did not like the bathroom , sliding door and it doesn't close all the way
- 4/5
The hotel was situated near an outlet mall. The roads going to and coming out are under construction but the delay was minimal. Room was clean and quiet.
- 3/5
Improve. As a business female, being able to have itemized receipts is a huge part of my trips. The manager was not able to provide an itemized receipt for my snack purchases. If I had known that I would Not have purchased them.
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect! The made to order breakfast was a nice touch to the already plentiful breakfast options! The happy hour was a great way to get everyone down for dinner. The proximity to the mall was great for our family. We had a 3 legged trip in New York and this was our best stay overall!
- 5/5
Just overall clean and easy. The breakfast was good. Using local sourced coffee a nice touch.
- 2/5
Didn't love this hotel. Initial put off was the $25.00 we were charged to park our car in the hotel parking lot. It would be different if this was an area of limited parking (lot was huge) or of course if we weren't overnight guests at the hotel. Had I known we would have had to pay for parking, we never would have stayed here. The room was worn and just felt dirty and cheap. The continental breakfast offering in the morning was a bright spot. We got in late and were out early on our way to Montreal. So the breakfast was a plus, but really the only one.
- 5/5
I can definitely see that the angle Miss Paris is playing against Air B&B is working here!!! :) Absolutely stunning hotel, amazing room, perfect layout, spacious, clean, great staff, incredible breakfast, room service doesn't bother you until after 11... Everything was perfect. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
- 3/5
Rooms could use fresh paint and some TLC on stains on furniture/carpet. Front desk staff not very friendly. Over $300+ a night and they charge $15/night to park.
- 2/5
The room was very dirty carpets disgusting We have stayed there 4times for granddaughters birthday
- 3/5
Lobby was great and staff also offered great service. Breakfast was great!
- 3/5
Checked in late, clerk was wonderful. Loved the water w fruit in the lobby. Room was clean but smelled horrible. $15 for parking in a not busy area and a $250!!!! hold for incidentals is RIDICULOUS. I’ve been to many 4 star hotels and holds aren’t even that high there. Despite convenient location I would not stay again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Very coean and family friendly
- 5/5
The only somewhat neg thing about our stay was that there was an odor in our room. The room was super clean but you could smell that someone had smoked. I sprayed room spray and it covered it well. Other than that it was great!!!!
- 3/5
Disturbingly dirty for the cost of a room. Was also very very warm in entire hotel. Breakfast and bar staff were amazing!!
- 5/5
The Hotel was fabulous, the 2 double bed suite was perfect room was seperate from the living area the view is Amazing! The mall is right across which was very very convenient. The Breakfast was the best ive ever had in my entire life traveling. Fresh omelets made right in front of you fresh the numerous options! I give it a 10/10 the complimentary drink i wasnt able to get because the hours were only from 530 to 7pm and i was out but thats the only thing i would change expand the hours because not everyone may be available those hours. Besides that will stay again everytime i come out this way. Hotel was very clean.
- 5/5
The room is very spacious and clean. The airconditioning system is a little bit loud and the room has some smells.
- 5/5
The rooms are really nice. We had a king suite, plenty of room, tv in bedroom & sitting area. Has a microwave & refrigerator, and a wet bar. The windows are from floor to ceiling. Free hot breakfast every morning. The "managers reception" free every night for a couple of hours. You get 2 cocktails & light fare. You can dine in the restaurant or get room service. There is a shuttle for transport needs. Parking is $15 daily. The only small hiccup is that you don't know what the incidentals charge will be until you get there. Mine was $250 for three nights - a little more than what i'm used to, but it was all worth it. The Destiny USA is literally directly across the street. 5 min walk. My son is a grad student at Syracuse University - less than 2 miles. This hotel will be my go to whenever we come to visit. My husband loved it! Awesome⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything
- 5/5
Aidan at the hotel front desk was so amazing and friendly got the other couple we traveled a room on the same floor. Breakfast was amazing and chef was so friendly!
- 3/5
We reserved a king suite and what we got is a king shoebox. The room was literally small. You had to shimmy between the bottom of the bed and the window to get to the other side of the bed. Typically, we view Embassy suites as an upgrade or a more Prestigious stay. What we got was a comfort in room. Other times when we stay in a king suite it has an additional room. This was a shoebox. Additionally, we paid for our room in advance $369 but then when we checked in, they charged us a $250 fee for incidentals and and a hold on our card. We find this to be excessive.
- 1/5
Could not go swimming because there was a very large kids party in the pool the whole weekend even though there is a large sign that says no pool parties permitted. Would not stay here again.
- 1/5
Shabby rooms and the property throughout was dirty full of trash. Overflowing trash bins. Nasty stains in carpet and couch. Beer cans a a broken bottles. Greasy smeared elevator doors and seemed like only one was working. I could not believe this was a Hilton brand hotel.
- 1/5
We checked in and checked out within an hour. There were stains everywhere and it smelled terrible to say the least.
- 5/5
Made to order free breakfast in the restaurant was lovely
- 3/5
The hotel is convenient to family who live in the area. This was my 2nd stay. This stay I was with my daughters. We purchased items from the marketplace by the front desk. These items didn’t come with utensils. We went to the bar and was told they didn’t have disposable silverware. I asked for regular and she said she had none available. The bar is right beside the restaurant. She could have given us at least a fork! My daughter had to make silverware out of the box on her frozen dinner. Don’t sell items that need silverware without silverware available.
- 4/5
Staff was great, breakfast was good. The room; carpet, sofa were a little outdated.
- 4/5
Rooms are starting to look a little tired. Staff are great. Breakfast is good. The new parking charge seems like a cash grab given the huge space available and that there has never been a charge in the many years we’ve been staying at the hotel.
- 5/5
Convenient to my son’s apartment and Syracuse university. The breakfast was amazing!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 3/5
Underwhelmed… sorry to say. GREAT LOCATION, no water pressure, thermostat terrible, chairs in room filth. Normally love this chain.
- 4/5
Totally happy about our overnight stay. However, just a little disappointed in the $15 a night parking fee. There is no need for that at this location. The lot around the hotel is huge…..seems more like just another cash grab!
- 5/5
Clean, close to destiny mall and wonderful breakfast.
- 5/5
It was nice. Wish they allowed a bit cooler on the air conditioning. Other than that great place and right next it the place I want to be; the mall!
- 5/5
Great bar & great food! Rooms are nice and clean. A+
- 5/5
Amazing. Our annual girls getaway weekend at Destiny, my daughter and I enjoyed every minute. Far safer than in the past, there seems to be more security measures and hopefully, more watching of the parking lot (we’d had our vehicle broken into among several others a while ago but the hotel staff was super supportive). We had a lovely time this long weekend- from checkin to all the housekeeping folks, it was great. Thanks and we look forward to next time.

It was good stay
- 5/5
It was close to the mall and St Joseph’s hospital where we needed to go.
- 5/5
nice and soft pillows and beds
- 2/5
The front desk staff was very unprofessional and showed that he did not want to assist certain individuals. Jared was his name, he doesn’t know how to use great customer service, I spoke polite and he failed to assist or make eye contact!
- 5/5
It was very good. I would recommend
- 3/5
It needs to be refurbished. Rooms are worn/stained and shower was moldy.
- 5/5
Had a great stay. For the right rate will be my go to when I go to Syracuse.
- 5/5
The room was awesome. Very clean and big,two rooms with a couch and two tv. Love it.
- 5/5
It was amazing
- 5/5
I was there on business- it was very suitable
- 4/5
I would stay again, but I would ask to be on the opposite side of the mall. The highway is a little noisy. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean, the pool was nice, and breakfast was delicious. The only thing lacking was the temperature was adjustable past 68°, which is a little hot for sleeping for my family. Overall, a great place to stay!
- 3/5
Much has declined since new management took over. The $15 parking fee is an annoying cash grab
- 5/5
Wonderful
- 2/5
No beds were made Garbage was overflowing New room didn’t have a jet tub as previously

My stay was not likemy other stays. First we wer hit with us having to pay for parking, then our view from our room was horrible. Also when I went to shower I almost slipped and fell because the shower floor did not have safety strips. That should be corrected .
- 5/5
Just across the street of Destiny USA, with family rooms
