Room smelled of mustyness and bad body odor. Shower did not work. Very strange green goop behind the toilet. Bugs crawling on the bed. Front desk girl was nice but other than that, this place was disgusting.

MJ was super helpful and friendly when we checked in. Room was clean, bed was comfortable! Cable went out Friday night, but not a big deal, didnt call about it.

The free breakfast was great. The room was great. I enjoyed the stay. It was a little removed from everything with no amenities nearby.

Front desk staff were great. Very helpful and very friendly. Bathroom had a musty smell.

The facility delivered what was advertised. A basic clean facility with attentive staff and a straight to the point breakfast bar.

Hotel def requires repairs and some updates

Everything but the spa tubs hot water My ratings are solely based off the spa tub feature.....the water temp is not warm at all making it pointless to pay for that particular room, I've tried both rooms available and the result is the same. I'm aware it saves money to keep water at a lower temp but paying for that particular feature having hot water would be expected. If it's a liability to have hot water allow your customers to sign a waiver or something to prevent getting sued if that is the reason.

We got exactly what we paid for: great staff, clean and quiet environment, and well-located relative to the highway and university. Only drawback was the breakfast, which was pretty bland and limited. The staff is phenomenal, though; highly responsive and consistently friendly. Will likely book again.
- 5/5
The room and inside comfort inn was clean. Breakfast was also good and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I only stayed for two days and I enjoyed it.
- 4/5
Staffs are very nice.

AC was cold.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Gave out snacks and a teddy bear for graduation, very nice. Room has a strong cigarette smell that hits the moment you walk through the door. Keycard stopped working after 3 days and had to get a new one.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Little worn around the edges. Perfect spot for a one night stay when traveling
- 5/5
We were there for our nephew's college graduation and when we checked in, we got a little Graduation stuffed bear and a little gift bag with some snacks and waters in it. Was very thoughtful! The staff were very pleasant and respectful. Breakfast was good and had good on the go options as well since we were in a hurry both mornings we were there. Room was quiet and very clean, bed was comfy. If I had to point out one thing, it was that our heater was a little loud. Sounded like it might be going to heater heaven soon. :) But overall, it wasn't that cold out so we only used it to get the chill out of the room.
- 1/5
The shower took forever to drain. When we complained about it, we were told the entire hotel drains slowly. Just a run down hotel. Will not stay there again.
- 5/5
The breakfast waffles, bagels, muffins, cheese omelets and all day coffee is great and fresh. They accommodated me if i needed another night. Overall it was good. Id stay here all the time.

Old and smell has not been renovated for a long time the picture do not look the same rugs were dirty. door had holes. There was ants all over the room. Hotel is not in good condition.
- 2/5
Property is older, and it shows. We stayed in room 201 and it was noisy and run down with age. Dead bolt lock did not work, wallpaper coming off in places. I have 3 charges for the room on 2 different credit cards. For us it was our first and last stay.
- 2/5
The breakfast eggs were ice cold. Building room had water damage in the corners, windows were cloudy.Tub had rust stains bathroom sink had no stopper. Entry, sidewalk was in poor condition Exterior condition of the building not great room definitely didn't look like what was pictured in the ad.Nor did the outside of the hotel
- 1/5
I will start with saying that the place was not bad. The poor rating is coming from what happened when we asked for assistance with an issue in our room and the communication or lack there of the next 2 days. We checked in and went into our room. We noticed immediately that there was no refrigerator in the room. It is listed as one of the amenities for the room. The wall paper was peeling and there were huge cobwebs in the corner of the ceiling but honestly the missing refrigerator was what we needed. We had items that required this. I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. My husband went to the front desk and was told that we needed to read the fine print and not all rooms come with a fridge. He asked if we could move rooms and was told they were completely booked and they had no open rooms. Fast forward to check out next day. They had a really nice breakfast. Upon checking out we brought up the missing fridge and the staff was surprised that we didnt have one as all rooms have one. Then we were told that the hotel was not actually booked . So the staff member lied to us twice for absolutely no reason. They said they would pass on to the manager. This was Sunday. No call. So I called today, explained the issue and was told the manager was there but not at the front and they would call me back. One again, no call back. I know its just a refrigerator, however after finding out that the could have just got another room and then blamed us for not reading correctly
- 0.5/5
The staff member was extremely nice. The elevator had a urine but toxic smell. The room had a smell of must or mildew and campfire built in.

The place was very clean, however, it needs a major "face lift." Holes in the wall, dripping faucets, craters the n the parking lot... Ample choices for breakfast. Eggs and sausage were cold though.

Great value
- 4/5
Room was reasonably clean, beds/pillows comfortable to sleep, AC worked perfect , room was very cold upon arrival but AC heated it quite fast. Breakfast can have some improvement : omelets were cold and stale, hot water thermos has cold water, otherwise standard Comfort Inn breakfast. Overall great place to stay overnight due to close proximity to fairgrounds but overpriced for the value you get.
- 5/5
Just okay. Pet friendly. Noisy heating. Dated. Good value for money.
- 5/5
convenient to freeway and short drive to downtown. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly and did a good job of working around the property deficiencies. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. There is a lot of deferred maintenance that is apparent.
- 5/5
Even though the property was older the front desk man was super kind and helpful and everything was clean
- 4/5
No shops. Would like microwave in room
- 4/5
Clean room, but hotel needs an upgrade. Very outdated. Breakfast was good though.
- 5/5
The staff were really friendly. The breakfast overseer Courtney was outstanding. We did not use the AC. Heating system was ok but quite noisey. Clean room was ok.
- 4/5
My room was very clean. Everything worked and I had a very restfull sleep.

- 3/5
I froze in that room #126. I had the thermostat as high as would go at 86°. All it did was blow cold air. I didnt aleep a wink. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful.....
- 5/5
Easy check in with good information from the desk.
- 5/5
Very underrated hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff is super nice. 24 hour coffee in the lobby is a plus. Highly recommend if you just need an overnight in the Syracuse area.

- 5/5
The front desk staff were very friendly, both the evening shift and morning checkout.
- 4/5
The staff was awesome. Courtney at the front desk went above and beyond helping me. Haven't seen this attention in quite some time. The room was clean, parking convenient, and the breakfast was good. Will stay here again when in the area. Thank you again to Courtney at the front desk.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and the room was clean.
- 3/5
It’s important to begin by stating that the staff could not have been friendlier or more hospitable! Each person we encountered was incredibly kind, and we felt very welcomed. We were in town for the Duke vs Syracuse football game, so the room price was artificially inflated for the age and condition of the hotel. The room was okay, but the hallway was dark and a little damp smelling. The carpet was also mysteriously dark, and the AC unit in our room was extremely loud. However, there was alway hot coffee, and again, everyone was friendly. Overall, an 6.75 out of 10 stay.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
- 5/5
All was very good

- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 3/5
Was ok for the purpose. Second time we've stayed tgere for a concert at Empower amphitheater. Room wasn't "dirty" but haf a musty smell. Staff was amazing again
- 2/5
Staff was friendly. Hotel needs some work. Wallpaper was falling off in rooms. Toilets are very outdated. Doors looked like they had been broken into. Paint was chipping off walls and in shower.
- 5/5
However, it wasn't convenient to anything such as restraunts, grocery stores, or gas stations. It gave us the opportunity to explore the local area more.
- 4/5
Plenty of parking. Check in attendant was very personable. Shower was hot and had plenty of water pressure. No real complaints. Property is just dated with areas of disrepair. Could use some updating.
- 5/5
The hotel was OK but the location of it getting there was very confusing. We did find it, but he needs something else around it and also to say it was close to the New York fairground it wasn’t it was tucked in a corner by RV company and the roads were terrible.
- 4/5
Didn't like the way I was told that transportation was not going to be a problem for access to the fair cost us 35 to and from fairgrounds
- 5/5
Good hotel for the price.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
The room was sparkly clean, towels and sheets super fresh. It was modern and well decorated, beds were comfy (just a little small, but that’s on me, because I didn’t pay attention on the size of the beds when I booked, I assumed the “double beds” were queen size, but they were more like full size), but nothing that could stop us from having a good night sleep. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was really good, with good selection of items. Overall, 10/10! We’ll definitely be back if ever in this area again.
- 4/5
Free parking and breakfast. Convenient location right off thruway
- 4/5
Hotel is rundown both inside and out but staff is friendly and helpful and will make your stay a positive experience
- 1/5
The ceiling in the main room was peeling. The ceiling over the tub was peeling, moldy, and fuzzy. There were holes in the curtains.
- 2/5
We paid $300 for this room. Bed was dingy and no bed bug protection, mold on curtains and in bathroom, holes in bathroom walls filled with toilet paper, both doors filled with screws, room was very damp
- 3/5
I felt like the staff was trying their best but the property is in rough shape for sure. The window was open a crack and wouldn’t close, but also wouldn’t open more than a few inches. It was clean, just hard to over look the condition of the property.
- 3/5
Staff lovely!
- 4/5
Comfortable stay. Helpful staff
- 4/5
Went to see a concert and the hotel was great. Bed was super comfortable, room was huge!
- 3/5
Clogged sink was pretty gross. Previous guest must have trimmed their beard and the hair was stuck.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
Staff was very helpful
- 4/5
It fit my needs for a quiet comfortable safe place to sleep - that's all I can review - it was a quick in and out and I'm grateful it was available
- 3/5
TV remote didn’t work even after changing batteries
- 1/5
From the check in, to the comfortable bed, to check out, everything was enjoyable.
- 3/5
The room was spotless, neatly made beds and plenty of towels. The downside was the window wouldn't close [Out of square frame] allowing for road noise. the tub wouldn't drain and the valve was broken so difficult to turn off. We had a late check in and therefore decided to live with the noise. If we were staying longer we would have needed a new room
- 4/5
Easy access right off the interstate, plenty of parking and quiet area. Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Room was comfortable.
- 5/5
Close to Syracuse Nationals
- 5/5
Everything about this stay was great, my only complaint was it was a hot 95 degree day and when we got into our room late at night the a/c was not on and the room was a bit hot. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was great.
- 4/5
Perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a concert so it fit our needs for the night. Clean but dated room, air conditioner couldn't keep up (it was a warm July night) staff was excellent, breakfast was good. Easy to get to right off the highway, plenty of parking. I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation or romantic vet away but if you just need a bed and a shower in a decent area this is the place.
- 5/5
Everything was as I expected. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Nice place.. good staff
- 4/5
Breakfast was okay
- 4/5
The room was clean. The ac was noisy. When I plugged my devices into the outlet by the recliner there were sparks. The rear elevator had a continuous sewer smell.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly and they answered all my questions
- 5/5
Great breakfast for free
- 4/5
The staff was very nice, they answered any questions we had. Coffee was always available, big plus with us!! Breakfast was good, a little more variety would be great. We will be staying there again.
- 5/5
Greg at checkin was outstanding! Friendly, polite, accommodating, happy and awesome at midnight after working another job!
- 4/5
What you’d expect from a comfort inn. Front desk staff helpful and very friendly!
- 5/5
Great value for graduation weekend. The hosts were very friendly, and our favorite thing was the graduation decorations, gift bag and teddy bear - very thoughtful and welcoming!
- 3/5
Needs updating
- 4/5
The property needs updating but still clean. The staff was amazing, helpful and kind.
- 4/5
Everything was good, clean room and bedding.. Only thing wrong was paint above the tub was chipping, and could use a fresh coat of paint. And the hallway smelled like wet dog
- 3/5
Loud fan in the bathroom shower, shower wasn’t great
- 5/5
Very clean
- 2/5
Elevators smelled like rotten eggs, drain in the shower was gross and had hair in it. Bed were small, rooms outdated. Used to staying at Hiltons, will not return.
- 4/5
Besides the ceiling peeling a little, wasn’t bad for the price. Would stay again.
- 4/5
This is far from a luxury hotel, and certain aspects are in need of repair, but we keep returning here for a myriad of reasons. It is clean, the beds are comfortable, the room has everything we need for a one or two night stay and the staff goes out of their way to be friendly and make sure you have everything you need, which I cannot say for a lot of the other hotels in the area. We have been coming to Syracuse regularly for games at SU and to visit relatives in the area, and for the price, we just can't complain. Fresh coffee in the lobby 24/7 is a real plus. The free breakfast is standard fare. Location is convenient, quiet, and close to the fairgrounds, and about 10 minutes from SU. I recommend it.
- 5/5
I loved the jetted tub, the bed was quite comfortable as well.
- 3/5
The room was ok as far as how clean it was but the entry door was broken and had to be lifted by the door handle to get it to close all the way. It was clearly damaged and a repair attempted. There was a board screwed to the outside of the door to hold it together. Room 226.
- 3/5
The room was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. The room door was screwed together. The door was not aligned with the door jam and had to be forced to open and close. The bathroom was falling apart.
- 4/5
Stayed twice during the off season and will stay again. Not fancy, but clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient. Very friendly staff. Good value for the price.
- 4/5
Good for a stop over. Free breakfast was quite decent (hot and cold offerings). Location is the middle of nowhere at the intersection of two interstate highways.
- 4/5
A clean , comfortable overnight stay after visiting family in Camillus. Not fancy, but has everything you need. Decent breakfast too.i would stay again
- 5/5
Clean and quiet very comfortable bed...the staff are amazing and very helpful
- 5/5
Very helpful and friendly staff went above and beyond....quiet and clean
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Convenient location. Safe and secluded .however could have had .more amenities. As well as closer dining options. Overall a great stay.
- 3/5
The bathtub didn't drain
- 4/5
Its cheap but clean. The staff are always super nice when we stay here. Its in a weird area but it works if your going to the lake amphitheater. Less than a 10 minute drive.
- 3/5
Working on redoing the whole place. Room was fine but there is a lot of work to be done
- 2/5
Very rundown
- 2/5
Didn’t feel safe, too isolated, not appealing and staff not caring. Won’t come back here again
- 3/5
This is a one star hotel. First room we were given smelled like smoke, mold and a recently deceased corpse. We asked for a different room and the staff moved us. The new room was clean. The bathroom is tiny. The shower barely works and has no pressure. The dresser drawers are broken. I would not stay here again.
- 4/5
It was a quick stay, so didn’t spend a lot of time at the hotel, but it was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was quiet, especially for a property so near a major highway. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
The room was ok but the room was never cleaned once during my 16 day stay. Had problems with the keys not working 3 times during my stay
- 1/5
Smells bad
- 5/5
The Comfort Inn was right off the I 90. It was close to the empower amphitheater. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good, but was comfortable.
- 2/5
Option for television channels very limited; No instructions on how to use the TV (such as how to find the on-screen guide and how to fix channels that were breaking up). Outlet for light switch near the TV also controlled the TV - so you had to watch the TV with the light on. General moldly smell in the room and clearly an old hotel minimally kept up, located in unattractive area next to motor home dealer and right next to the highway. Despite it being Labor Day weekend and the NY State Fair only a few minutes away, hotel was sparsely filled. Understandably so. Not sure if other nearby hotels would be an better but I will not return to this hotel.
- 4/5
It was good
- 3/5
The shower would not spray. When pulling knob, the water was the same from showerhead as in the faucet for bath. A wall socket had no cover. Hairdryer hung off the wall. Maintenace was fixing it when I checked in and it was NOT fixed.
- 3/5
Our room had a very strong musty odor that was present for our entire stay. The carpet had a weird sticky feeling on our feet. The room was decorated in a darker shade so it made the whole space feel dark and gloomy. The bathroom is extremely small. The beds should be updated to queen size for more comfort. Some of the tv channels would cut out while we were watching. Breakfast was ok, but the room it's served in is very small and it's hard to maneuver when it's busy. There aren't enough tables to sit at, so you'll probably have to eat in your room. It's an ok hotel if you just needing a place to sleep for the night. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay.
- 5/5
close to amphitheatre
- 3/5
The property is old and needs so much updating!!! Just a few of the issues: the A/C rattles, the hot water didn’t last for a shower, the coffee pot has something growing in it, the door to the room barely closed due to broken handle and the room smells musty. The price they charged was outrageous for the room considering it really its value and worth.
- 5/5
Close to the NY State Fair and off the expressway.
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel were very sweet. Loved the whirlpool tub, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good 👍. I would definitely stay here again
- 2/5
Hallways smelled of cannabis and cigarettes. Elevator had buttons that did not light up when used. Room door very difficult to open, would stick and key card would only work after 4 tries. Room smelled awful, unlike anything I've ever smelled. It was strong and present the entire time. We tried opening the window but there was no screen so this was only an option on the first day, while we were in the room. It was colder out and daytime (so we didn't have to worry about bugs coming in.) There were many patch attempts around the room. Many of the outlets would not allow for a plug to be put in all the way which made us uncomfortable to use them (hazardous.) Fridge was good, air conditioner was loud and smell came from that side of the room. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Linens were soft. Parking was always available. Breakfast was ok. There were many options: muffins, pastry, bagels, eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. But here were ants on the counters in the area. Overall the amount we paid ($200-350 a night!!) was ridiculous for what we got. Which was a run down, poorly maintained budget motel with great staff. It was clearly inflated by 3xs because of the fair taking place. I would not recommend staying here if you have other options unless it is less than $100 a night, and even then adjust your expectations.
- 3/5
This hotel was reasonably clean and the staff was friendly. However, the location is unattractive and the whole property needs an update.
- 2/5
Check in was okay staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Few problems with the room control knob on bathroom faucet was very loose also knob on shower control door assembly lock also was loose reported it to front desk they said they will look in to it don’t know if they did it’s only one night stay will not comeback.
- 4/5
No fan in bathroom
- 2/5
Dated, not very clean. Expected better quality for the price charged per night!
- 3/5
Room smelled a little and air conditioners and water pipes were incredibly loud. You not only heard your own air conditioner but everyone else's. Front desk was very nice. No other employee interaction.
- 5/5
Property in need of repair
- 5/5
The staff member was accommodating and friendly. Great value for the jetted tub 😊
- 4/5
Thank you
- 4/5
It is easy to get to the highway from the property, but a little tricky to find. The GPS did its job however. The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was what you would expect.
- 5/5
The receptionist was very personable and helpful. The condition of the room and building are poor. There is a big tear in the curtain, holes in the lampshade, cobwebs in the window. The parking lot is in poor condition. Building in need of updating.
- 2/5
Was afraid to even try to use jetted tub! Ceiling cracking, no window screens to get fresh air. Only good part was a comfortable bed. Left early because it was so bad.👎
- 5/5
On the outskirts of the city. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Very comfortable beds
- 3/5
The property showed evidence of significant wear.
- 5/5
Buen lugar para descansar.
- 4/5
Check in was quick, easy, and friendly. The room was decent for the cost. Bathroom was extremely small, desk chair was broken when you leaned back. It was a fine place to stay and allowed me a convenient location to spend time with my granddaughter
- 2/5
It wasn't what I am accustomed to.
- 2/5
Almost got run over by staff. Debit card kept getting declined cause they were keying wrong numbers and I had to contact my bank. Key card had to be reprogrammed every time I left and came back. I was charged over 300,00 per night times 2 nights. Not a happy camper.☹️
- 3/5
Rooms were clean, property is just in need of an upgrade
- 5/5
and personable. Would stay here again.
