Very small room, stains on the rug, no refrigerator, door lock didn’t work correctly. Disappointed for the Wyndham chain.

I love the location of property Outdated needs a major overhaul paint, carpet doors bathrooms - would be outstanding property if gave some tlc

The room was not especially clean (around faucets, sink, shower, couch, floors). The light on the bathroom (over the mirror and sink) was not properly secured to the wall. The couch was covered with stains. The shower floor was slimey feeling. They apparently allow dogs and we had a neighbor who had one who we heard barking off and on. One of the windows was completely missing the curtains (yet had a rod).
- 3/5
Rooms were clean. Local homeless people asking for money in the lobby.
- 2.5/5
Location is good. The first room she put is in was dank, not super clean and the bathroom was missing a door knob. It felt dank, not what I imagined from the website. Second room was better. Breakfast was fine. See above- missing door knob, not clean, chipped paint and tiles, run down, small room and bathroom
- 2/5
Tiny room, outdated gross bathroom. Queen bed seemed more like a full. Overpriced for what you get.
- 2.5/5
I appreciate that the staff were kind and that the property is near to Syracuse Uni and SUNY ESF At the time we were there, the AC was not working at all. We slept in 85 F inside our room when the temp outside was way below 85 F. We thought we were going to be sick after. But on our 2nd day they upgraded us to a good room with working AC. Hopefully whatever issue on the 2nd floor rooms was fixed.

The room is nice. The staff never came to clean the room after we asked for room service. The rest of the stay was nice.

One of the worst stays! A/c was not working while the room temp was 86 degrees. It was terrible to sleep thru the night on such a hot room. Room windows are not operable so was stuck in that 120 sq.ft. stuffy room. Restaurant was not open the two days we stayed here so no food available either. Bathroom floor were sticky, hair in the tub surface and carpet was extremely dirtly. If you have an option, try to find a different place.

Up to date materials, clean, etc The room should be taken out of services Plaster falling from the wall. Just loose plaster sections all over it he ground by window. HAIRS! Long haired on the white towel shelf plain as day. Hair on floor in restroom, lots. Thermostat didn’t work properly. Shower control valve couldn’t turn off water all the way. Everything -lamps, chair, blinds EVERYTHING is disgusting to tough. Sticky, hairs, greasy. GROSS
- 4/5
You can tell it’s getting a little old. A fresh coat of paint would be good. There was no refrigerator. We like to keep cold water bottles.. just an amenity that was not expected because what hotel does have one now. The toilet was very low…otherwise the location is great if you’re going to Syracuse University, it’s 5 min away.
- 5/5
Staff was incredible: helpful, polite and always smiling!! Place is very well maintained, was clean and smelled very good!!

- 2/5
Way overpriced for the stay. Old, shower awful, slow service at the bar.

Great breakfast options
- 4/5
Problems with the room upon arrival. Some. Were resolved
- 2/5
when i checked into hotel i was given room on first floor - when i asked for a higher level i was told the air conditioning was broken and i should stay on first floor bc it would be cooler. i was also told they were in process of fixng the air but i was not fixed and the room was warm and stuffy. I wanted to go to gym in the morning but found out there was no gym even though the website said 24/7 fitness center and included photos. I was told the website had not been updated. THe hotel restaurant also is closed monday and tuesday so no breakfast available.
- 2/5
What I do not like: 1. Perhaps the most uncomfortable pillows I have ever come across; lumpy, worn out and impossible to find comfort; pillow cases too small and with holes; 2. The room was 77 degrees F, way too hot to sleep in comfort. There was no way to turn the air conditioner temperature down, the control did not work; 3. The edge of the glass top on the side table next to the bed is chipped with a sharp edge. I badly cut my finger on it while putting my phone down. Overall and given the above this hotel operator shows a lack of care for their clients and disinterest to provide a quality service. Very disappointing.
- 4/5
The rooms run a bit hot..
- 3/5
However, what was most disappointing was the inaccurate information about the amenities. I chose this hotel because of the free hotel airport shuttle. When I called before I arrived in Syracuse to confirm shuttle arrangements, I was told that that the shuttle is not offered after 4pm on Sundays through Tuesday. So we had to Uber. Also, the hotel listed that there is a restaurant onsite. We planned to go there for a quick breakfast. But, once we arrived at the hotel, we were told that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So the amenities that are listed are not fully available. These limited hours should be listed online. False advertising is not good customer service.
- 4/5
Front desk very helpful with my needs
- 1/5
Advertised airport shuttle was not available, AC was not working in the entire hotel. Very dated hotel with thin non-soundproof walls.
- 4/5
Lovely staff- attentive. Great shuttle drivers (Kudos Tim and Kara). Unfortunate a/c broken while there so rooms unseasonably warm. Limited fans. Great sense of community while visiting, due to lacrosse game.
- 3/5
Hotel lobby area has been updated. Room we stayed in was not except for the bathroom. The room itself was just painted but you can see that it has some humidity issues. Overall it was an ok place to stay.
- 4/5
It's decent overall. Middle of the road.
- 3/5
Hotel is old. Staff was very nice and helpful
- 3/5
Staff was great. Amenities, not so good. Stay was Sunday to Tuesday -- restaurant was closed that whole time. Dirty, used Q-tip in corner of bathroom, overhead light and fan in bathroom not working, lip of shower between shower pan and bathroom floor was rusty, room heater was loud, TV had no channel guide and no access to apps that I could have logged into. No documentation in room explaining anything.
- 3/5
Great location. Nice lobby area. Very nice staff. Room (and mattress) very dated.
- 1/5
No fitness center despite the photos on line. Room was extremely hot and AC was not available because the entire building hadn’t switched to AC despite it being 80 degrees outside. Pillows we disgusting and lumpy. Almost the entire hotel was booked with a youth group tour. Do not stay here. There are much better places to stay for less money. You definitely don’t get what you pay for here. Oh - and the person passed out at the bar was a nice touch.
- 5/5
Close to university
- 2/5
Toilet seat left dirty. Broken shower head (in pieces).
- 3/5
Very dated. The lobby is nice but the rooms look old. Needs a "face lift" badly! The a/c/heating unit is very noisy. The front desk isn't manned very well. Was there twice and no one was there. Had to wait a while. But the staff is very friendly when you see them LOL. Note: the airport shuttle driver is SO nice and helped me with my luggage, I had 3 heavy suitcases. Her name is Cara. Location to Syracuse Univ. is great! I'd stay there again just for that.
- 1/5
No air conditioning in rooms. Rooms exceptionally hot. Very outdated rooms.
- 4/5

- 1/5
Horrible
- 4/5
Restaurant was closed or closed early.
- 5/5
We stay here most times we come up to Syracuse for a game. It’s conveniently located to the university making it
- 3/5
It's obviously older, which is fine, but it has not been updated as it should. The biggest issue was the HVAC system that can either be set on AC or Heat for the entire building--it's not individualized per room. When we stayed, it was the first mild day in March, so the "heat" setting was still on even though outside was warm. So, the AC would only blow warm air until the cold season ends and they turn it over to AC. Per the recommendation of the staff, we turned off the system entirely, and the room remained at 73 clammy degrees all night, despite someone from the hotel bringing a fan for us to use. To say the least, it was a very uncomfortable night and we had small children and an infant with us. Also, you can't open any of the windows. This should be updated (fresh air please!). There are things you can do to prevent accidents (other hotels are doing it), but in 2026, you should be able to open hotel windows. It's not a prison, but it sure can feel like one for guests who are claustrophobic. Also, the room wasn't that clean. One of the glasses for water had some kind of dark, thick liquid that hadn't been properly washed off. The hanger rod in the closet was broken. And the bathrooms definitely need to be updated and cleaned better (please ensure there are no remaining hairs in the shower from previous guests).
- 3/5
Cons: There is no gym as was indicated online, which was a disappointment. Children were running and playing in the hallway at 12:45am, and drywall was falling off the ceiling near the elevator.
- 3/5
The room needs to be updated, especially the bathroom. The faucet knobs were not working properly. It looked old.
- 2/5
Tears in carpet, broken toilet seat, mold in fridge, stains on comforter...come on man...
- 1/5
Rooms are not controlled via central air - thermostat stated 71, set to 77, woke up to it being 70. Felt like 60, had to sleep with a sweater on. No fitness center available on site, half the hotel was bought by SU. Services are very limited, only on select days. Best part was no hassle when canceling remainder of stay.
- 4/5
Staff was courteous. Hotel
- 1/5
Room was very spartan and heater wasn’t working…even after mentioning this to front desk it was not fixed during my 2 night stay
- 5/5
Comfortable beds
- 1/5
The property is in desperate need of repair. Safe to say, I would never stay there ever again.
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
Yes, however there were water spots on the ceiling, like they had a leak and a broken item in the closet. They also, don't accept certian credit cards, because they have an old system. We ended ip leaving a cash deposit which they don't usually take.
- 3/5
The room was adequate. It was smaller than the rooms at other hotels. The lobby was beautiful, but the room was not of the same elegance as the lobby. Both the bathroom door and the door to the room had issues. The restaurant was closed on the day I stayed there, so I can not comment on the quality of the restaurant. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast available with the restaurant closed.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Services was great. Everything was clean. The room was a bit dated.
- 4/5
All good, very nice friendly staff
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Clean room, wonderful staff, and a slew of games in the lobby that were fun. If you arrive and David Is working, you will be in good hands!
- 5/5
It was clean quiet, and I felt safe and comfortable as a female traveling alone. The staff was very accommodating.
- 5/5
All is good!
- 3/5
The first room we stayed in (room 203) was unsatisfactory - the bed was uncomfortable, it was extremely warm (we couldn’t get the temperature below 75 degrees) and the heating system was very loud. When I spoke to the staff about it they were very understanding and were able to move us to a much better room. Both the woman working the front desk on the morning of Sat 11/22 and the gentleman working there that afternoon were very friendly and helpful. The waitress at the Salt restaurant Saturday morning was also very nice. Despite the lovely and accommodating staff, I cannot rate the experience higher given the known issues with the old and noisy heating system
- 3/5
The bathroom sink would not drain and was unclean. There were hairs from previous occupants on the sink, etc.
- 4/5
My stay was great. Room was clean with good space. Front desk folks, especially David, were very helpful
- 5/5
Staff! I just want to give a shout out to David at the front desk who went out of how way to solve a problem with my shower when I first arrived. He turned a potentially uncomfortable stay into a great one. Hotel is close to the University with good restaurants close by and a comfortably set up lobby for business travelers. Highly recommend a King suite room as the Queen singles are quite small.
- 3/5
The front desk staff was friendly at check-in. The room seemed fine but felt stuffy so we attempted to adjust the temp but the thermostat didn't seem to be working. No answer when we called to the front desk so we walked down and learned that they're only running the heat... it's either heat or AC but never both. I understand that Nov is a cooler month but when the rooms are too warm for comfort and there's no way to run the fan to circulate the air or open a window for fresh air (the windows are sealed shut - even on the ground floor) then it makes for a miserable night of sleep. Next morning at breakfast, one of two orders was wrong and we were the only people in the restaurant sooooo... I don't see us staying here again.
- 5/5
My wife and I were pleased with our stay. Friendly staff, clean room and a great night sleep. Easy check in and out.
- 4/5
This was a good stay near a college. Everything was good, but the room was smaller than we had expected. Although it was autumn the room was warmer than expected with no way to cool it. That being said it was a safe and comfortable place to rest for one night on our trip.
- 3/5
This is a budget hotel. Price is affordable and accommodations match price level. More of a motel feel than a hotel feel. Room was dated and smelled a bit musty.
- 3/5
First I will say that the restaurant was delicious and the staff excellent. The room was small the toilet slow and we had to find a plunger and do it ourselves. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a helicopter was overhead. My card was as entered three times and we had to pay for parking on top of the room rate. Will not stay again but would eat there.
- 5/5
Liked the hotel
- 1/5
As someone who attended Syracuse University for four years and walked by this hotel virtually everyday, I never thought to lookup the reviews. Boy was that a mistake. I attended the university's alumni weekend, and due to the conversion of the Sheraton to dorms, the Collegian was the only on campus option. Check-in was ok, asked the front desk lady if there were fridges in the rooms and she looked at me like I had three heads and said she did not know. While on the way to my room I saw multiple doors that looked as if they had been kicked in. The door was literally concave. The hallway leading up to my room looked like a frat house. Run down and just overall bad. Entered the room and it was dark, super humid, the bathroom had no drain stopper and a never-ending drip. Unknown marks on the wall, bedding put on wrong etc. My friend and I felt the room was overall gross and the hotel was not a 4 star hotel by any means. We were about to leave when someone came BANGING on our door yelling HOUSEKEEPING. I exclaimed that we did not need house keeping as we just checked in, and this person banged on the door again extremely loudly. So loudly I jumped back and thought he was trying to force his way in. He came in and threw a dingy mini fridge on the ground and left. We were anxious since we walked in the room as we are young women. Finally read reviews and were horrified. Bed Bugs, Roaches blood and feces in bedding you name it. Stay away.
- 4/5
The staff were very accommodating, and the hotel was clean, tastefully decorated, and convenient to Syracuse University.
- 3/5
Air port shuttle was too late for us. We had an early morning flight and the shuttle does not run until 7. Room was cold and we could never turn up the heat.
- 3/5
It was a cold and rainy fall night and we couldn't get the heat above 68 degrees
- 5/5
It was a basic room but clean and comfortable. Wish I had noticed it didn’t have a mini fridge when reserving. I had a personal issue (not their fault) and they were very helpful and helped me out.
- 2/5
Food at the bar made me sick. Shower was plugged up.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, I do not have a good review of this hotel. Staff was pleasant but the room was dirty, loud and uncomfortable. There was a sticky white stain on the desk when we walked into the room, the HVAC unit was so loud we couldn't turn it on at night because it kept us up, it also never got to temperature in the room. In addition we were in room 248 and within the walls was a loud vibrating and screeching noise that could not be controlled. We did not sleep for the two night stay at all. The toilet seat is so low that you felt like you were falling when trying to use it. The rug is rippling and dirty.
- 2/5
Room wasn’t the cleanest, specifically the bathroom.
- 3/5
This was not the cheapest option, but it is very close to campus, so I chose it. I likely will try to find other options first for the cost.
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
There was a noise coming from the air conditioning all night, approximately every 10-15 minutes there would be a grating noise that would wake me up, this happened in two different rooms on two different stays at this hotel. It was incredibly disruptive to my sleep.
- 5/5
I stayed at Collegian this year, September 5-7, for an SU COL class reunion and I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again next trip to Syracuse. The location is excellent, easy walking distance to campus and the stadium. The rooms are well kept and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. No complaints.
- 2/5
No refrigerator. No microwave. No chair to sit in except the uncomfortable office chair. These are standard amenities. Bottom metal step from the second floor exit was broken. Looked unsafe.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Restaurant and bar onsite. Toiletries in bathroom.
- 1/5
Staff charged me again for my stay and claimed she refunded the previous reservation but never did. So I paid twice for my stay
- 5/5
David was amazing!
- 5/5
Very unique older hotel. I had a very nice stay. They need to work a temperature control in the rooms as it was not working correctly.
- 4/5
always a nice stay. One consistent issuse - The towels never align. This time we never had an face/washcloths. In prior years we had uneven number of towels.
- 4/5
Great service, staff and so conveniently close to campus but rundown.
- 1/5
While the staff was very nice, they don’t have a lot to work with — the hotel is terribly maintained. Rooms are small, out of date, not clean (holes in carpet, loud dusty air conditioner), not everything works, we had issues with toilet that didn’t flush that they didn’t fix all day after being alerted, our keys didn’t work and we had to repeatedly go to front desk, breakfast was good but they had only one person working which was not enough despite his best efforts.
- 5/5
Convenient, courteous staff
- 5/5
Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was clean and close enough to Syracuse University that you could walk there in around 10 minutes. We had dinner at Taichi Bubble Tea, the ramen was delicious. The hotel was perfect in its decor to embrace the collegiate atmosphere and get excited about the school year and our return.
- 3/5
Shower broken in room. Shuttle to airport not available.
- 1/5
Rude staff, stinky room. Very poor quality for the price
- 1/5
The hotel's website list several amenities that are not available at the hotel, i.e. laundry and fitness center.
- 4/5
Had nice experience there during my stay
- 3/5
The staff was very nice. However I was approved for a room upgrade. And when I arrived, the check-in process was fine, when I went to my room, I saw that my room was not upgraded. When I went to the desk to let them know, they said that I was never approved and it was denied right from the start. Which was not true. The bed was a double size, and advertised as a queen. It was an all right stay for one night when you were not going into the room only to sleep.
- 2/5
Room smelled like smoke and took a long time for them to get us another one. Go somewhere else.
- 4/5
The sofa bed was actually painful and I got no sleep the first night. The second night I just slept on the sofa which was better but cramped. The room had such high humidity that the A/C smelled moldy and mildewed and all of our clothes and bedsheets became damp just by sitting out in the room! Also the exterior of the building actually has pieces falling off of it. The in room coffee maker and coffee is just makes brown tepid water. And the luggage rack in the closet was broken in two pieces. People working here were very nice and helpful, though.
- 5/5
Bar tender at the bar is always polite & friendly, drinks are always made correctly. It would be nice if the bar was available later at night on the weekend.
- 4/5
The rooms were tiny.
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay
- 3/5
I like the shuttle service super convenience, location close to Syracuse University for my travel was a big plus, the food in the restaurant was good and the staff is beyond that professional , but the rooms need an update ASAP.
- 4/5
What I did not appreciate was that the hotel shuttle was not available when I needed it. I was lucky to catch a ride with neighboring guests.
- 5/5
Well kept facility. Good breakfast. Convenient location. I'd never heard of Collegian before but would stay with them again.
- 3/5
Standard room has a really tiny bathroom.
- 3/5
Our Server for breakfast was wonderful, the Avocado toast, not as much - a piece of toasted bread with a half avocado simply sliced on one half, a slice egg on the other half, topped by frisee and far too much creamy balsamic. This needs to be rethought and simplified - better artisan bread, masshed avocado, sliced egg on top, sea salt. Ditch the frisee and balsamic
- 5/5
The property was clean and service was fast and efficient. The staff was warm and the location was very convenient to me.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and very helpful
- 5/5
The staff were amazing at the bar and restaurant. The check in staff were phenomenal. Very great for Canadian travellers.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful, but the room had no air conditioning and was humid and very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
It looked like the property was under renovation, the a/c was broken and the food was way too expensive. Parking lot was a little sketchy too.
- 3/5
The building is dirty and the outdoor landscaping is in rough shape.
- 4/5
Really enjoyed the property! Took my daughter to school at Syracuse;l the property is virtually on the edge of campus and about a mile from downtown on E. A Genesee Street (a main E/W artery. While the facility is somewhat dated and shows wear, the staff were all above and beyond. Also, the onsite restaurant and bar had excellent value for the price point - and more wonderful staff. Parking is on-site and safe. Overall vibe is relaxing, and there is an outdoor seating area for an evening smoke or drink. Will stay at the property next time I am in Syracuse!
- 3/5
Some issues: shower head height is about 5’6” so not a problem for people below that height, A/C set to 60 struggled to maintain 76, hand held hair dry handle got so hot it had to be held with a towel (could see where it melted the cover to toilet seat), and there a couple more things, but this is enough. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic!
- 5/5
There was some construction. Front desk was so nice!! They gave us a food voucher! My only complaint is the floor in the room was sticky. I walk barefoot. And i would wash my feet in the tub constantly because the soles of my feet would get black with dirt.
- 2/5
I did not enjoy my stay here. I had an issue with the bathroom and the bed was not comfortable and room needs to renovated. AC did not work and room smelled like cigarettes when we arrived
- 5/5
Customer Service at its BEST! The staff at Collegiate care about their guest’s experience! The friendly staff answered all of my questions and were accommodating to all of my needs. Being from out of state, I was put at ease in getting around with their informative staff - Monica, Stephanie and shuttle staff Fred and Sara. I can’t wait to visit again soon! Oh! And it is close to SU, clean, with all the amenities too!
- 3/5
The restaurant was nice and the food tasty but the waiter did not know how to open or pour a wine.
- 5/5
Staff is just one of the many assets. Very comfortable accommodation. Restaurant has amazing food. I highly recommend hotel. They are the premier and popular accommodation for that area. I would recommend The Collegian.
- 2/5
The room had hairs in the tub that weren’t ours . It was under construction. The bed was falling apart. The room smelled of old cigarettes. The best part was how pleasant the person was that checked us in . Besides that wouldn’t go back .
- 5/5
I can’t say enough about the staff. They were honestly some of the best I’ve come across. Thanks for making it a great stay.
- 5/5
We left one of our daughters sneakers and called them and they had them assistant giving info on how to send them a label and they shipped them within three days after our check out. Amazing Supervisor who helped with that situation, warm and polite also extremely humorous. Awesome team there. Okay, I’ve said enough. Overall, I would stay again. Thanks to the staff and Team there.
- 5/5
Stephanie at the front desk is the consummate hospitality professional. Amazing personality, wonderful person and very knowledgeable about about the industry.
- 5/5
This hotel is conveniently located to Krause hospital. The staff was very welcoming. The rooms were average. The bar service was a bit slow. All in all, I would say this was an above average hotel.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay. Price was reasonable. Staff was delightful. The meal in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very good. Would like to see a refrig and microwave in the room especially for one who is a diabetic and needs insulin refrigerated.
- 2/5
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. However, the room had no refrigerator for food, the room was 78 degrees upon entry, and only dropped to 74 degrees after the air conditioning was running for almost 24 hours. Also the toilet sits so low in the room I was in, I have never sat so low before. Would not recommend this hotel, and likely will not book a room at this hotel again.
- 2/5
Need a lot of work, nothing closer to showing pictures
- 3/5
The bed was listed as a queen but was only a full. The AC didn't lower the temperature despite being on full-time overnight. The floor was moist. And the room had weird smell to it with some type of air freshener trying to cover it up.
- 4/5
It was a clean hotel and the staff was super friendly
- 3/5
In consistency in rooms. Stayed for 2 nights the previous week and that room was more desirable.
- 1/5
First impressions was that what they were advertising as a queen bed was a full and that furniture was randomly thrown in the space. The desk chair was in the middle of the room because if it was at the desk you couldn’t get to the bed. Tv was very far from the bed. Additionally the AC didn’t work and the shower was full of mold and all complimentary shampoos/body was were empty bottles. The ice machine was broken, the restaurant was not good. I don’t recommend staying here. It’s probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever set foot inside of.
- 2/5
Staff were polite and helpful. Lobby was nice and food was good at the restaurant. The rooms were run down, musty and dirty.
- 5/5
Great breakfast option.
- 3/5
It is a decent enough place to shower and sleep. Although the reviews for the restaurant were poor enough that we didn't dare try it. My only complaint is the quality of the mattresses. Far too firm, without any ability to comfortably cradle pressure points as a side sleeper. Woke up both mornings with some sore spots.

More like a college dorm bed and room, inadequate for a hotel room! We did not check-in.

The hotel felt more like a roadside and ran down motel. The room was spacious but not welcoming. Bed sheets didn't feel nice. Shampoo& conditioner and the sort felt low and dried the skin. AC didn't work. Door key card didnt work and we had to go back to fix it. There were no blackout curtains so there was strong light coming from outside lights even at night .And there was constant noisy humming possibly from the laundry machines next room

Update bathroom and carpets. Toilet was too close to the wall.

The room was large and comfortable and close distance to the University.

Great stay!

All good. Close to university

The bathroom is really tiny, the toilet is very low. My

Just horrible.

I found SEVERAL long dark hairs in my bed. It gave me the absolute sense that the cleaning service DID NOT change the bed sheets after the previous guest. That was really unnerving, and it felt unsanitary. In addition, the hotel had prison-style shampoo/conditioner/body wash on the wall, and there was no shampoo. I always prefer individual bottles, and thankfully I keep a johnson's baby shampoo travel bottle for situations like this. I spent $200 for one night, but would compare the cleanliness to a Motel 6. On the other hand, the receptionist in the lobby was very nice.

Basement room was damp and musty. Dog barking in a nearby room. Outdated rooms.

Decent property. Very close to Syracuse U. Lobby looks recently redone. Room was OK. Maybe redone several years ago so not old. Not a bad place if you are passing through or want a lesser priced option for visiting the university or going to the Syracuse Mets.

The property was in a good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The best part of hotel is dining and shuttle service.

Hotel was ok. Room had an odor. Probably won’t stay there again.

It's a great place to stay if you are need of any of the university or hospital facilities in Syracuse.
- 2/5
Broken AC, no air circulation turned off due to loud clicking sound, rip bed sheet, other had multiple hair and stain spots on comforter.
- 2/5
Staff was very friendly, but our shower didn’t work, tv didn’t work, room smelled like smoke and the shower wasn’t clean. On the upside, Great, easy parking and lovely lobby, super convenient to Syracuse University.

The room was visibly clean but there was a musty odor. Also the heat register was not working- only A/C. The hotel did respond to this concern very promptly but couldn’t repair so offered us a space heater. We switched hotels for our second night in town due to the smell.

The building doesn't look like the pictures at all. AC was broken. No free breakfast- was refused at the hotel restaurant who tried to charge me 14.99 for a garbage continental breakfast. The redeeming quality was proximity to JMA Dome. Thats it.

Room was not ready until after 4, check in was at 3. Room was very hot, over 80 degrees and I was told AC could not be turned on due to age of building. Cold water did not work and there were stains on the bedding. Paid over $600 and I can honestly say it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

The staff assured us that they just needed time to cool. Hours later we returned only to find the room was even warmer, between 75-80 degrees. When I complained I was told they couldn't move me to another room because none where available and I was offered a fan. I left and drove home. I paid over $600 for this sh*t show.

Easy location to campus. Property is beat up a bit.

Couldn’t check in due to IT problem, received room key the morning we checked out, TV didn’t work for part of stay due to IT problem, no gym as advertised, no complementary breakfast as advertised so had to rush in the morning to find alternative, no body wash in shower. Unimpressive.

Room was large and clean. Staff was awesome. Very convenient location

The check in receptionist was lovely. We chose this hotel because it was close to Syracuse Univ, where my daughter was visiting, all within walking distance. But we noticed the room was too warm. After checking in about 5pm, we learned finally at 9:30pm (when our room was now 80 degrees) from the night staff that the AC didn’t work in the hotel so we had to find another hotel 15 minutes away at a far higher price since it was last minute. (I had booked this hotel months ago.) Very inconvenient.

Floors and sinks were disgusting including dead bugs in the room.

Very close to Syracuse University and could leave car and walk to campus

Had three different gross rooms

Very nice stay. Clean and 15 min walk to campus. Rooms not fancy but comfortable. Easy to park and access to food.

The first room had a leaking toilet, went to the front desk, they switched our room. The second room had no air conditioning. The room was very hot. We hadnt noticed till after the show we went to. We got back to the room around 1045 pm. In the morning, my wife showered. The tub would not drain, therefor i could not shower. At checkout we informed the front desk attendant. She brushed our concerns off with a smug "thansk for letting us know" response. We will not be staying at this establishment ever again.

David who greeted us and helped us was kind and had amazing recommendations!! David’s kindness does not go unnoticed and made the experience even better. Will definitely stay again.

Lost power for several hours. No air conditioning available. My room was 78° for the duration of my stay and my daughter‘s room was 80°.

Convenient and walkable to Syracuse University campus. Friendly staff and restaurant is good grab a drink and food for games at the dome.

Great location for visiting Syracuse U, walkable and quiet area. Rooms were a bit dated for the price, bathroom amenities were sub par, but the room and hotel was clean. We did not visit the bar or restaurant.

Staff are great!

Fine, but noisy hallways, cleaning. Staff coming around 8am, bed was super squeaky

It was a great stay, the hotel was nice, the people working were very pleasant, the restaurant was delicious. My only small complaint is the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The parking lot at night was not well lit. The room was very dirty. The shower leaked. There was no room service as advertised. The restaurant was not open early as advertised. The walls were paper thin and you could see out into the hallway under my door so you could hear and see shadows of everyone walking by. Also i was supposed to be in a smoke free area and you could smell cigarette fumes from another room. They also charge 10 dollars a day for parking and that is not advertised in the price when you book.
