Great location close to the airport

It was fairly easy to find and conveniently located. Facilities were clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very warm and stuffy. Although one window in the room could be opened there was no cross ventilation so the cooler air stayed outside. The air conditioner was very loud and largely ineffective. The bathroom fan was the same. They would be better off with ceiling fans to circulate the air. Pillows were somehow lumpy and flat at the same time.

Staff friendly and inviting...room and bathroom was clean...room was cleaned and beds made daily.

This was my fourth stay, bed is amazing, everything very clean

I didn't like the fact someone knocked on my room door at 10:30 am to remind me check out was at 11am. As if I was unaware it was rude and made me feel rushed.

The room had a really strong perfumey smell from some industrial strength air freshner. I had to open the window and the door for about an hour to clear it out. The furniture is a little outdated (cigarette burns in the night stand)

I couldn't cast prime video from my phone to the tv.

Horrible, dirty and smelly. I checked out after 20 minutes as I was getting nauseous. You can see that I checked in the Quality Inn 30 minutes later. I should not pay for this room.

Staff had nasty attitude room smelled like beer and stale cigarettes. Was told no visitors and couldn't book more than 3 days ar a time. Blankets had. Massive burn holes in them. Refused refund didnt stay in hotel.

Extremely clean rooms, convenient location and courteous owner. I would rather my business to a private owner who takes pride in their business and customer service.

No breakfast. Bare minimum for everything, very basic place. Very old coil king mattress in the jacuzzi room. This room is a better value than the jacuzzi room near the fairgrounds/Daniellas.

Jucuzzi Everything else. If you just want a jucuzzi in a clean'ish room, without bugs, then this is great, but literally the only reason we stayed here was it was the only one in town.

I have stayed here many times and like the clean comfortable rooms and it's directly off a main road and a short drive to the airport. The only negative is some noise from the nearby highway but it isn't not bad.

Stayed one night, and it was a good stay. The building and facilities were a bit outdated looking, but everything was as advertised and worked. Usually there is something dirty in most hotels I stay in, but honestly, this room was very clean. Only needed to interact staff once to get key card, but interaction was quick and easy. Would stay again, especially because it was affordable relative to other places in the area.

Good motel for the price

It was a clean room and the staff was very nice.

To save money the refrigerator was turned off so there was an extended time to get items cold. Bathroom door was sticky and hard to close. No coffee in the office. Tired motel.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. It’s an older motel, but it’s kept in excellent, very clean condition. Since Covid I’ve gotten used to not having the room cleaned every day, but the staff cleaned it daily, and immaculately!

For a roadside motel, this one is better than others. Very clean, room was comfortable, nice size refrigerator and microwave. They do have housekeeping and we received fresh towels, which is getting to be rare among even some of the chain hotels. The bathroom was clean, but small and the fan was very loud. I strongly recommend bringing your own products. A new shower curtain would make a huge difference, as would some type of shelf. The property is well maintained though, and the area is very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores (Wegman's and Price Chopper are very close by). We stayed for SU Family Weekend when better hotels were either booked or price gouging, this Budget Inn was adequate for a cheap price. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep, this was fine.

Older, basic motel but it was very clean, everything worked, and we were very comfortable.

The rooms are good however one should pick the non smoking room for better experience.

Beds are not really beds but basically just fold-out beds, with thin mattresses and a straight, wire grid bed frame. Shampoo is a thin ketchup-pack dollop of liquid, that is impossible to open. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s, but at least the water was hot (though low pressure and an ancient showerhead). Dank lighting in the bathroom (one of the old $5 glass globes with a 40-watt bulb is the sole source of light) and though there were several lamps around the room, the room itself was pretty dark as well. The in-wall AC was loud and noisy but did the job. The highway is fifty yards off the backside of the rooms, so traffic noise is an is. The second floor is completely handicap/elderly inaccessible, with no elevator. No breakfast is provided. The ice machine is a hole in the wall near the front desk. No food to speak of at the property. Wendy's is about a 10-15 minute walk away, so plan accordingly. No airport shuttle. It's about a ten-minute drive from the terminal, so you need a car or Uber. Free parking in the lot. If you need a place to crash, it will suffice.

I was surprised by the amount of positive responses to a Budge Inn, but it they were all justified. The staff is wonderful. They even have swings, a slide and jungle gym for the kids. Definitely, a great place for the money.

The rooms have smell of smoke and it's not good when you enter. Needs some room fresheners. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

Don’t let the word budget equate with cheap or shoddy. The property is well cared for. It is well worth staying here.

The owners are so wonderful, so accommodating as we arrived later than expected-11:45pm and check in ends at 11:30pm. I called and they were able to assist us. The place is so clean and cared for, fresh flowers adorning the property. Very impressed.

Stayed for the night after a concert Friday night. Very quiet, clean and relaxed! Alittle dated but almost in a cute way! Again, 1am on a Friday night, no one was outside lurking around, no noise, etc! gonna be the new stay for concerts

This is a quiet and clean two story hotel with outside entry. The bathroom is very 1950’s with pink fixtures. Overall, the night was comfortable.

The Inn served its purpose. We needed a quick place to say. It has not been updated in decades. It appeared clean….. old carpet throughout…. how clean can it be? It was as basic as could be. I’m not saying to not stay there but you get what you pay for.

It is a good place to crash overnight. But it is a very old facility therefore the smell inside the room is awful and everything is very old.

A nice place to lay down my head for a few hours

Dated furniture. Smells old. Not a bad smell, just antique and older. Clean, comfy bed. Heater worked great. The refrigerator didn't work, but it was a clean! It fit the purpose. It was quiet, Direct TV worked.

Smooth stay

Keep in mind this is an old drive-up motel. The owners seem to be doing what they can to modernize. TV is good with lots of stations, there's a microwave and mini-fridge.... but ... the beds are rock hard, the room was musty/old smelling, the bathroom is really small with 1970's tile and colors... but again ... if you just need a reasonably priced place near the highway to catch a nights sleep, it wasn't so bad... just don't expect a Hilton property.

Very clean, in good repair and well appointed. If you are going for a 2-star hotel then look no further. You will find nothing better but probably worse.

This is a very no-frills motel. It was nice enough though. It has a 1960s meets 1930s kind of vibe. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and had some hot water. The water pressure wasn't great, but it did the job. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was great. The wifi was strong and worked great for meetings. There is no elevator, it is a motel, so if you are like me and have issues with stairs, you might want to let them know ahead of time. The room is non-smoking, but people smoke on the walkway outside of your room. The area is a bit walkable, but not great. If you stay here, you will need a car. It is a motel after all. The staff are friendly, but they don't really understand no services. Every day I was woken up by either a knock on the door or a phone call to ask if I needed anything. I work nights, so this disrupted my sleep. If I could convince them to not do that, I would stay there again. (Serious about the phone call thing. When I didn't answer the door, they let it ring 14 times. Who does that?!?)

Second time we have stayed at this property. It is owner operated and although the property is rather tired, it is very clean. The beds are made daily as well, the towels are changed daily.

Room size was very good. Bathroom counter was small. I love that the fixtures were straightforward and turning on the shower didn’t require a trip to the front desk for assistance.

The room was as advertised. Location was great and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Room was cleaner than some more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. We only stayed one night and if we are ever in the area we would stay there again.

This is an older motel but it was very clean. We stayed a few days. We had clean towels everyday and our bed was made for us every day when we returned. It is about 5 minutes from fast food restaurants etc. It is prefect for a short stay. I would stay there again

The property was clean and close to the airport.

We were only planning on a one night stay, so we weren't looking for anything other than a bed and a safe parking spot. Budget Inn offered that and nothing else. The motel shows its age but is recently renewed and very clean. I was surprised to find both a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. The AC worked just fine. There are a number of choices for food nearby. Even though we were near the highway AND the airport, it was very quiet and we slept well. If you're looking for a quiet, safe and inexpensive room, you won't do better than this.

Room smelled like cigarettes. Supposedly a non-smoking room however. Could not rid the room of the smell.

My daughter and I stayed here to catch an early morning flight; the airport is approximately six minutes away. The room and bathroom were spotless and had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again. Much less expensive than the big hotels on Carrier Circle or in downtown Syracuse.

Room was clean for an older property

We stay here every year when we come up for the NY State Fair. Looks older from the outside but the rooms are clean, staff is always so kind and it’s only a 10 minute drive from the fairgrounds. Thank you as always!

Really? "Smoking Rooms?" This was the most horrible experience I have had in a hotel (and I book over 150 nights a year in various chains).

We were looking for somewhere clean, quiet, safe, affordable, and comfortable near the Syracuse airport. This Budget Inn fit the bill and worked out great. It's dated inside and isn't fancy, but our room was spacious and clean. Staff was great. Would stay there again.

Ok place to stay- near airport, didn’t realize it’s a motel not a hotel. But for a 2 night stay it was fine.

For a discounted rate, this motel was sufficient. On the positive side, the room was very clean and spacious, check-in was easy and quick. The not so positives include the rooms being very outdated and lack many of the amenities that you find in most motel/hotels, the bed was roughly the firmness of concrete and there was very little water pressure. It's definitely a no frills motel but it does cost much less than many others and was very clean and safe.

Wow. Such a nice hotel for the price. Everything inside and out was meticulously maintained. Recommend to families. Even had a nice little playground. Highly recommend.

It was reasonably priced, everything, even the parking lot, was VERY clean, and close to the airport. Service was average, fine.

Ok for what it is

Arrived late at night…tired and weary. Had the call someone to check me in. He gave me a piece of paper to fill out with my address and contact info. I had prepaid for the room for two nights. He gave me the key and I went on my way. The next day when I returned to my room, I was locked out. They said I needed to pay an extra $40/night for my toy poodle. The guy was so rude. If there was an extra fee for my pet, it should have been collected when I checked in. Something was very shady about this dude locking me out . Plus, the only reason I was staying in this cruddy hotel in the dialect place was because they were supposedly dog-friendly. Plus the bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled like a mix of mold and stale semen. Gross!

It is so very close to the airport, it's clean, safe, the rooms are large, and very pleasant.

It was a quick stopover for a tournament. It was dated (think ‘1970’), but exceptionally clean and well-located. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes, while nestled in a quiet corner. Not far from the main highway, yet still quiet. We would definitely stay again. No frills, but excellent.

If you have a plane to catch the next day it's a great spot to stay.

It’s no 5 stars hotel, we knew that ahead. It’s ok for one night sleep over route to our destination. There was a musky smell first got into the room but gone after running the AC for half an hour. Our room was on the main floor and there was no view to the front at all. We could hear the conversation at the adjacent room and people walking from the room above us. Taking a shower in the morning was competing with other on hot water. But for the price of one night stay, we can’t expect too much.

Rooms are a little bit dated but clean

Room was smelled a little funky. Building is old and in need of some renovation. But honestly in spite of that I liked staying here. Room was clean. Could not hear other guests. Had no issue with staff. It's not the Hilton in Manhattan but for a cheap last minute room it was alright.

The rooms are clean and its close to the airport but thats about it. Trash all over the parking lot. They advertise free breakfast but there isn't any. Coffee maker in the room had no coffee and none available at the desk. They had coffee in the lounge but it cost $1 to get a cup. This used to be a nice hotel but its really gone down hill
