The room we were in was clean and the bed was comfy , however we were the only ones there and they put us in a room that was right near the wall of the restaurant kitchen thats hooked to the building , needless to say it was very noisy also there was a pile of pine needles on our walk way to get to our room I would recommend some larger coffee cups as the kuerig over flowed them even on lowest setting.. some room darkening shades and some kind of noise blocker in room 6

Sidewalk and steps going to room were very icy, my husband had to try to clean them off so we didn't fall, no salt available. Shower was cold to lukewarm with very little pressure

Like the location in the middle of town. Don’t have to use the car if you don’t want to. Didn’t like the fact that there wasn’t a bedside light, or a light by the couch for reading.

Location was convenient for visiting the beach and local restaurants. It has been recently renovated and the decor was very cute with a beach theme. Would have liked and additional chair to sit on.

The place was very nice. We stayed on the off season and was comfortable all by our selves on property. Staff was prompt and helpful and accommodating as we had one small issue the first night by the morning problem resolved. Great people great location.

Place was convenient and cute, Just a little small for us larger people. It's attached to a restaurant in the front. Lots of parking spaces. We had our boat with us, so we just parked it across the street in a large lot.

This location was fantastic! Quick easy walk to the beach, wonderful restaurant right in front, super comfortable room! Highly recommended!

No hot water at all for shower just freezing cold. The restaurant kitchen wall was attached to our room at the head of our bed. Never quieted down until well after 11:00 pm!!!! Won’t be staying there again any time soon.

Great location, walk one block to access the beach! Lots to do and places to eat within walking distance. The amusement park is only open on weekends. Room was as advertised. Only issue was checking in - I did not receive necessary information because I booked online, so be sure to call to confirm the details before you arrive. The staff was very helpful and resolved the issue quickly.

We checked in and were sent across the street to the 3 rooms on that side. The parking l steps leading down to the room weere very slippery and icy which was scary for me because i hadd an accidentt in August and really cannot have any falls as I await surgery. My husbad helped me into the room though and it was okay. The room was cute but very outdated. It was clean and served the purpose if you want a basic room wit jacuzzi tub. The tvs are Roku tv and the wifi is atrocious making it painful to watch anything. There was a sitting room with a tv in it and then the bedroom with jacuzzi tub, tv, and faux fireplace which was nice. I am sure in summer that the ambiance is better being so close to the lake and suppose it lost some some appeal being winter. The rates in summer are much higher and I don't think I'd pay that much. The coffee maker was uncooperative so we left at 8 am and got coffee at Circle K then drive home. Next time I'd definitely stay at the place across from Turning Stone instead with the jetted tub. However, it wasn't terrible.

I likes this location, it was in need of some lightbulbs as well as having no working tvs. The internet wasnt working on either tv due to poor connection. Other than that we had a good stay

Room was spotless. Bar and restaurant were closed. Property was for sale which was not expected. Definitely overpriced.

Hot water in tub wont shut off so runs 24 hours non stop Patio full of cobwebs , garden all weeds Even the eves has green growing out of it . The price was very high & no maintenance Or anyone in charge

The property definitely has potential but needs work. They updated the furniture itself and the stuff inside the rooms but the property itself, the room we stayed in the ceiling panels were wet. The ceiling panels were pushed up instead of placed down In the correct spot. The outside area isn’t taken care of.

There used to be a restaurant/bar in front of the hotel, but it is closed and for sale. That was the only thing we were disappointed in. The management was AMAZING. I would recommend this property to everyone!

Looked very cute online but in person was in desperate need of repairs. The room was very musty and there were spots on ceiling that appeared to be mold and/or mildew. By morning we were feeling the effect of being enclosed in the room that had only antique wall unit air conditioning. The bathroom was ill equipped with rags rather than towels that were not much larger than a bath mat. This matched the shower size that was only large enough to accommodate child-size individuals. Not a chance my husband would have been able to shower there. Basic amenities such as paper towels, napkins, dish soap were not provided in the kitchenette. Beautiful pictures of the attached restaurant are posted on the website however restaurant is permanently closed (apparently for quite some time) and is dilapidated, for sale, and severely impacts the aesthetics of the property. Check in receipt indicated that payment needed to be collected from guest but room was charged to credit card more than a week prior to arriving. No personnel onsite at check out time to communicate with.

Always liked this place but this year it’s looking a little tired Small things needing repair Not saying I won’t stay again but close to 200 dollars they need to put a little TLC into it

Stayed with 6, staff reached out to me day of with clear instructions no confusion at all. Walkable distance to the beach and on site parking. Good spot

This used to be one of my favorite spots, but the bar and restaurant are for sale and closed, rooms are in sorry meed of repair, no staff to be fou d anywhere and when I called all I got was “sorry we are at a different property right now”. $150 that I will never see again, I will never stay here again, better off sleeping in my car, stay away.

Beautiful hotel, i block from the beach, spacious room with a kitchenette and fireplace. Check in was a breeze, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We'll definitely be back to this lovely, friendly place on Oneida lake

There was no staff on premises but were very helpful on the phone. I came in the off season, so I’m guessing this isn’t the case in the summer. Overall, a fine stay, and I was upgraded to a larger room, more of an apartment/suite that would be great for a family.

No staff on premises. Had to contact them by phone. Not a big deal but the room we were told to enter was not the one I reserved. Again not a problem as we were finally directed to the correct room, which was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Well when we showed up we couldn't get ahold of anyone till 7pm it was just ridiculous. Everyone that was waiting for there reservations was just stuck trying to find out a different place till we randomly got a call saying sorry we had a emergency. Never will I

We have stayed at Carbones 4 or 5 times now in multiple different sized rooms. Theyre all nice. Its a great place to stay. Very close to the beach too.

The motel is so beautiful. The booking was easy. Right next to a beach was absolutely a plus. BBQ restaurant right next door. Easily accessible. Room was small and the fireplace is really a extra cute touch. Beds comfortable. Very clean. The kitchen in the room with a nice touch. Only 20 minutes from turning stone. I can’t wait to stay here again.

Very small room for the price

The office called me just before 4pm saying they would be closing at 4 and the key would be under the mat. They told me my room number and i had no way to get ahold of them when i got there at 430pn to find out where the room was. It took 15 minutes to realize that our room was across the road from the main building, which they did not tell me. The bathroom floor was dirty , but the room was decently clean other than that. Then the next morning at nearly 9am when we went to check out, there was still no one in the office. Overall, i would not come back and would not recommend to anyone.

The room was good. The hot tub was enjoyable. The bathtub was gross & the heat wasn't working in the bathroom. There was a heat light which helped a little but it was a subzero night, single digit day

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which was very roomy with a comfortable & homey atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We can’t say enough about how satisfied we were with our stay. We will definitely come back, in fact i have` already booked our next stay.

Had to book and pay for lodging (in a real motel) at 9pm when it was apparent we couldn't enter the prepaid room here. Still no return call, no refund, no contact, nothing. Will never eat, drink or do any business with that property again

This little area is absolutely amazing

Huge roomy 2 bedroom suite, only about 15 minutes to turning stone Casino, safe area, close to many places to eat, and right across the street from the beach. Will stay again if we go for another concert at turning stone.

The living area was very nice. The bathroom tub did not look clean but it could have been wear and tear on the tub itself. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Wasnt as luxury as the website claimed

The pictures of the room online were quite deceiving. There were ceiling tiles falling down, the toilet parts were all mismatched a d didn’t fit right, the carpet was filthy. Blinds didn’t cover the window. The bed was lumpy, squeaky, and totally uncomfortable. Would never recommend or stay there again.

We stayed in one of the cottages. It was set up like an apartment. Very clean and cute and relaxing. Check in was very easy. We are a family of 5 and plenty of room for all of us. The only suggestions I would make is leave more toilet paper. We only had 2 rolls for a three day stay and no one was around during the day to ask for more. Also, I would suggest recycling bins. Other than that fantastic and so close to the beach.

Old worn out furniture, very dirty - dust bunnies all over the place. The windows blinds did not keep out any light. Very expensive, so expected a quality stay.

It's hard to complain about the price, but, it was exorbitant, but, I knew what I was paying. Two suggestions, a toaster or toaster oven would have been nice, and upgrade the towels, they were small & thin.

When I purchased their “luxury jacuzzi suite” I expected more than I got. I could not sleep well in the room because I was nervous that bugs would crawl on me l, since their were many spider webs in the room and outside, with huge bugs in them. The soda machine was covered in webs and bugs. Left after one night, even though I purchased two.

Conditions in the room weren’t great. A few things fell off the walls. Outside the eat in kitchen, the view was of broken down equipment. Not cute.

What we like was that it was spacious and close to everything thing. What we didn't like that our stay was a Sunday through Thursday and the only staff observed was cleaning staff. There is no open place to get ice and ask questions about the area

This was a GREAT place to stay. Staff was very friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean. Everything you need and want was in walking distance.the lake and beach is right down the block. There is a wonderful restaurant and ice cream shop on property and they have out door eating areas that we enjoyed entertainment while having lunch. We are already planning our next trip.

This place was a disaster. Ceiling tiles out. TVs wouldn't work. 2 beds one was a pullout couch. Bathroom heat lamp broke. Price for this 1 star place was outrageous.

Check in was a breeze. Staff was super friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Everything needed was available. Great area and lots to do! Will recommend and definitely be staying again.

Overal the room was decent my wife spotted a stain on the head board she ended up cleaning hot tub was nice but bed was a little stiff and hurt my back a bit

Fireplace didn’t work, jetted tub had to be cleaned, broken glass in the bathroom, very skimpy toiletries, frayed bath towels, & old beat up furniture. No toilet paper upon arrival so after finding a chamber maid they acted like we were lying about not having any in the room. Icy steps & driveway were a safety issue.

Bed was comfortable. I wished restaurant was open. Weather stripping is recommended do to drafty areas by bathroom window & at the bottom of door. When the gardener used the blower leaves & dirt came in room.

Checking in was a problem. There is no front desk. They state that the property will e-mail instructions upon arrival. No e-mail was sent. Phone# on the property doesn't get you through to anybody. Housekeeper assisted us in getting the room and key. Room wss clean and adequate for us. Good location.

I loved that great food (Boneyard BBQ) was in walking distance. The Carbones are excellent hosts.

Great location in Sylvan Beach! We only stayed one night as we were traveling. The place was fairly large and had a kitchen area without stove. There was a very musty smell in bathroom and the bed marketed as a queen was sadly only a full size. My 6 ft. 2 inch husband’s feet hang off the end of a full. If I had known we wouldn’t have booked there.

From Check in to check everything was perfect! We will be staying again. Clean, comfortable, affordable.

Nice location for the area. Private and off the road. 2 TVs in the room. No staff on sight overnights. Cable was out both nights of our stay. Called management and they said it was a storm outage. TVs worked fine and a restaurant within walking distance. No follow up by management. Door handle was very difficult to work. Overall it’s was an OK place to stay for a night or two. Nice area for the beach.

the room was very nice but when we had to do the checkout we were packing when the cleaning lady came to take us out of the room because we had to do the checkout she arrived before 10:55 and told her to give me 5 minutes and it was 4 times almost knocking down the door in less than 5 minutes very angry that has never happened to me very bad service

Everything was great. The owners were super sweet and very accommodating. The room decor was so cute, and the room was just the right size for two of us. My only issue was that the shower was not clean enough. There were a few dark hairs on the shower wall and around the drain. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable.

It was great I had a good time there definitely will book again

With covid going on and the owners struggling to make it, they treated us great and accommodated our every need, not to mention having the BEST bloody mary i have ever had.
