Maybe it was a bad room. I’m not sure but cockroaches in bed with me will not be returning here

Easy registration. But had some trouble locating room. I didn't like that the room smelled like cigarettes and wet wood. And the rooms were tiny.

Ther was roaches and I asked for a room with a fridge and microwave n didn't receive it

We had bed bugs and they didn’t want to give us a refund they tried to give us another room. There was soooo many and they were huge!

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Great location.

Very bare bones. No refrigerator, no microwave, No extra blankets-2 towels, hand towels & one wash cloth. That being said, I was there for outpatient surgery at Stanford so just wanted something for sleeping/recovery so it worked. The Staff was very nice and had I asked, they would have been accommodating with extra bedding/bath etc.

I am very satisfied with the stay. This is my second time staying here. The housekeeping is exceptionally great to make the room very clean. Very grateful to have a wonderful motel in such a convenient location with reasonable pricing. We will definitely stay here when we come to Bay Area.

I was surprised that my room did not have a microwave or a coffee maker. Running to the office to grab a cup of coffee in the morning was unexpected task. The rest of experience was decent.

Parking easy and staff very friendly and helpful. But bathroom exhaust fan was extremely loud (could not speak with or hear person right outside door). And could not turn off fan because it is wired to the light

For some reasons they keep on big bright lights in the pool area at night! The curtains are not positioned well so lots of light is passing into the room.

The staff at front desk were not friendly. The lobby was shut when I checked in at about 10:20pm. I needed an iron and had to leave my driver's license to borrow it. Then I needed a blow dryer and had to do the same. They made me feel like a criminal giving me the items through a window instead of opening the lobby door. I will not be staying here again.

I am working in the area so I stay at this property on and off. Staff are not friendly but not rude either. The air conditioning are old and struggling to work. I can imagine what summer will be like in the little units. There are no local channels available and the YV’s have been updated within the last 10 years I guess but are deteriorating and poor picture quality.

I needed a nice clean room with a clean bed and that’s what I got. Also, the property seemed to be well maintained.

The room did not provide a microwave or refrigerator. There is a bright bright light right outside my door and there were people congregating all night, smoking cigarettes, and playing music on their phone very uncomfortable.

The front desk staff was incredibly rude during check-in, and their accent was completely unintelligible. They couldn't give us clear directions to our room, and to make matters worse, there were leaks everywhere. This isn't a hotel; it’s a homeless shelter.

The room was very much neglected. There was a cockroach in my room. But the staff was nice and they moved me to another room. There is no microwave to heat my coffee.

Pictures show a fridge and microwave. None there. They took them out of the rooms due to cockroachs. The other issue was no hot water. Cold showers suck. The shower drain was so slow a two minute shower took 20 minutes to drain. Water pressure in the sink was a trickle.

Overall a good stay and convenient!

Internet was good. The room had a TV zero other amenities and was not cleaned every day. That was all right with me for the price. People upstairs dropped heavy objects on the floor like a gunshot. I complained to the management, but the noise continued. The room was non-smoking, but it was obvious it had been smoked in before.

The walls and ceiling are thin. It was pretty clean but not immaculate. It was nicer and cleaner than I expected it to be for the price. Great value and a friendly and informative check in.

My biggest problem with this place is fixable- they put the bed right next to the window, and directly outside the window are blaring fluorescent lights. It's so difficult to sleep in a room with the lights on- the curtains need to be able to black out the lights coming from outside. This could be a 3 or 4 star stay if that issue is addressed.

As long as you realize this is what it says it is in it's name, a Motel, not a Hotel, it is exactly what you expect. This one is a pretty large complex, with 2 stories and many rooms, a large carpark lot, and in a great Sunnyvale Location near the 101 Freeway and a lot of Silicon Valley Tech companies. So if you are a Tech Bro with a back pack on a budget, and you have graduated from hostels to your own unit with privacy, this is perfect for you. If you are a privileged Karen looking for Hotel quality and service for less than a Benjamin Franklin a night, quit dreaming, wake up and smell the coffee!

The location can't be beat. Close to food and shopping. Plenty of on site parking. Staff cares about making your stay a good experience!!!

We stayed 2 nights with our two cats while our house was being fumigated. It was a convenient, low-cost option. All went well during our stay.

Motel 6 has definitely upgraded!! Room was clean! Floors weren’t dirty or spotty! No bugs no nothing! Water pressure didn’t make my skin all dried out like it use too. Soaps in room were hydrating finally! lol. Definitely like this Motel 6 location. Outside of building is beautiful! Didn’t get in pool but it was clean and easy accessible. Motel 6 is definitely winning in the allow your pets to stay free policy!

Rooms are super tiny. Smells of some strong fragrance upon arrival. Front desk staff are unfriendly with no personality, speak super fast and don’t want to repeat them selves when asked. WiFi is guest unsecure and sucks. Shower is tall people unfriendly. One washcloth for a two person room. Overall just a bad experience. Stay elsewhere if at all possible

Toilet wouldn't flush without me opening the tank every time, light over vanity out, low water pressure, mattresses 20 years old and very uncomfortable. Not recommended

The door lock kept demagnetizing my keycard (4 cards in 2 days!). They had my reservation on file but NONE of the details in their system, so they were trying to get rid of me after 1 night of a 2 night reservation. I had reserved a room on the ground floor (accessibility), but they stuck me up on the 3rd floor. Wifi was pathetic. Bed was uncomfortable. No soap. The elevator sounds and feels like it's going to drop you every time it moves. Check out is at 11am, but housekeeping was knocking on the door before 10am.

There's tons of inexpensive, good dining options nearby and the location is 1 minute from the freeway in the middle of Silicon Valley.

Bleak atmosphere. Synthetic wood floors. Thin blanket and bedspread. No shampoo (you had to buy it from the vending machine in the laundry room). Air conditioner worked fine. TV worked. No decorations on the walls. You get what you pay for. I only paid $96 on Expedia, but the chart in the bathroom said $299. In same lot as Burger King. McDonalds and Dennys across the street. Convenient to 101. No traffic noise.

The neighborhood was not so safe, a lot of homeless people around and the room faced out. We didn’t have any problems at night with theft. The room upgrades were nice like the flooring, but our mattresses and extra blankets were disgusting.

Very small rooms the beds are not queen size as advertised

I just needed a cheap clean place to crash after a long flight. I don't mind the sparse amenities, but I was hoping for better temperature control and at least one heavy blanket. The room felt very clinical and I did not feel very comfortable. The bed mattress was not firm in my lower back hurt after I woke up.

Nearby major tech hubs

This place is barebones. Staff is nice and room was clean. Biggest issue is floodlights facing inner courtyard that seem to come on at 11:30. Room goes from dark to you can see yourself in mirror. So eyeshades is a must. Also limited amenities — no microwave, coffee maker or even electric kettle.

Too much noice , remodeling Propery

It seemed to me there are quite a few folks living here at this Motel 6. My guess would be some form of subsidized government emergency housing. There were a lot of dogs in the rooms, and they barked a lot. The first night it went on for a couple hours in the evening. It was so loud myself and 2 others were complaining to the front desk. Luckily it quited down after that. I won't be back though.

It's overpriced for an old out dated room.

The clerk will be higher-than-high, incoherent, incompetent, and unwilling to complete or understand simple tasks to include issuing keys for the two rooms that were already reserved stating that he only has one room available…but then asking if you would like a room on the second or third floor. When questioned regarding the availability of two rooms (which were reserved), he then decides they’re unavailable and will not provide ANY ACCOMMODATION. Anywhere but here. Barbed wire along the fence…cherry on top!

I wasn't feeling safe being alone in the hotel. One reason is the car being so far away from the rooms. It didn't look like a safe area to leave your car. It was safe once I was in the room and felt safe in the room but I was concerned about the car being a far. Unfortunately me staying there that night. Had a neighbor who was washing the TV extremely loud and yelling a lot was just coming through the walls. Staff was awesome! Price is awesome. The room was awesome! It was just the location of the car where you keep it for parking didn't look safe

This time I paid for microwave and refrigerator. They removed from the whole property. Please stay away from this point. Useless staff

The check in process was smooth and welcoming. There was plenty of room to park. The room was as expected for a Motel. The upsides were it was sizable, clean (except for the AC unit vent which clearly isn't on housekeepings to-do list to keep clean) and had a nice little seating area and small table. I would have wished for better pillows, microwave/small fridge - and a better AC unit (though I realize that isn't likely possible). The one toiletry provided is a thin bar of soap - so make sure you bring everything else. All that said, it was good for the price and I look forward to coming back.

Oh my goodness. The room I got was 308. That room had cat urine smell. I was so tired that I didn't want to change my room. Anyway, I had a car freshener that helped me for the night and benadryl. Totally disgusting smell .

The refrigerator was making a lot of noises. I tried to see if I can adjust the leg (by turning them to see if it would level on the ground) but no such luck. It was just shaking. Between the noise levels of the AC and the refrigerator I was not able to sleep. Next day I asked for a different room for I was going to be there for another 4 nights! The Hindu accent speaking girl at the reception strait out said no before I even finished speaking! I asked to speak with her manager which apparently she was listening in on the conversation stepped right up and said she has no other room available! The only one she has is one without a refrigerator on the 3rd floor! (No elevators in this place) I told her refrigerator is advertised on their own website as part of the “standard items” that is included in their rooms! She said “No”. So I said if you can’t provide me a quite room with the standard equipment on the east side of their building (where the sun is not hitting the room directly and making it too hot to sleep in), on the lower floor (I am disabled and asked to be on the ground floor) then I said refund me my entire booking (for I was not informed the room would be hot and noisy that will keep me up all night) and I will leave! She told me to go within 1/2 hours then she will fully refund me! Which they didn’t!

Where do I begin. When I checked in, the front desk was not so friendly. I was given a room Only to find out I was downgraded , I payed extra for a refrigerator and a microwave. The room didn’t have one. I took it. The following day I went to the front desk to ask for the right booked room I payed for. I was given a different room with refrigerator, microwave and cockroaches 😡 I declined the new room and stayed in the room Given at first. It wasn’t until the third day I came to the room and found a refrigerator and a microwave. They didn’t want to refund me for the extra cost and the microwave was filthy. Didn’t even use it. I will not come back to this place again.

First of all its in a not so good neighborhood. When we arrived there were room with broken windows, broken doors, lots of garbage, etc. We checked in, room was dirty, the shower was COVERED with what looked like crusty soap and lots of hairs. Absolutely disgusting. We left out to eat at about 10pm and back at midnight. Couldn't sleep at ALL. They keep every single light on everywhere and rooms stay very bright even with the curtains fully closed. We had other tenants that would walk by and try to look into the room the whole night. Didnt get any sleep at all and left super early, didnt feel safe. Would not stay here again. Wish i could get my money back, it was horrible

the room was very small, but ok, the real issue I had was when I walked in the disinfectant they used I believe on the mattress for what ever reason I hate to think about was over welmming and I could sleep even with the fan on to circulate the air..I was better the next night but I have irratation in my throat and feel a fuzy feeling in my head ;ike I'm comming down with something..I'd suggest change mattersses or easy or better yet X the bed sanitation
