Front desk (man) was a little unwelcome. It looks to every guest in front of us too.

We stayed only one night because we 3 ladies were booked for the BTS concert. The room was clean and the bathroom facilities were great for a handicap person. We had the complimentary breakfast which had so much food varieties, coffee and juices and make your own waffles! We really enjoyed our leisurely breakfast. We felt safe as the car was in a secured locked underground garage facility. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed overnight at this location in a 2 queen room. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. There was a thermostat that controlled the temperature and unlike many hotels of this class, the air conditioner was not noisy at all. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

It was an amazing experience overall. It was clean, nicely renovated. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only problem we had with our room was that the refrigerator wasn’t working, so the milk we had went bad. But again that doesn’t takeaway from how much we enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be staying here again.

The room was clean.

The walls in the room are very thin, i could hear a gentleman snore all night. The staff is friendly and the place is well taken care off. Breakfast could be better, i don't care for the poweder scramble eggs. A fresh egg station would be a good add on. Overall it was a good place to spend the night, i do like and enjoyed the 24 hour coffee.

This is my go to hotel when we visit San Jose. The hotel is very clean and the location is perfect.

Room size is good. Gym facility is great. Bed is too soft. Blanket is not so comfortable.

Thinnest, least insulated walls I've ever seen in a hotel not branded (and priced) as a cheap stay. I literally heard a zipper close in the next room not to mention conversation and all walking in the room above. Plastic shower and ultra-low-pressure showerhead completed the package. Staff kind. Room clean. Breakfast generic but decent--other than no fruit. Location not walkable to anything. Parking lot filled up on my second night. I had to park at an office building down the road. I would not say st this brand again now that I know it. Quedtion is why did i pay over two hundred bucks a night for this experience?

The staff were all welcoming and great, and I liked the amenities, but the bed and pillows were way too soft and hurt my neck and back terribly, preventing me from sleeping. Please work on replacing them! The heater kept making loud noises and blowing air on me, which also kept me awake and it made the room very uncomfortable.

Room was clean and good spacing for the cost. Good quality shampoo and body wash that was paraban free. Room included a mini refrigerator and microwave so we can store left overs and reheat for next meal. Good selection of complimentary breakfast. Only issue was that you can hear traffic from the street even at 3 stories up.

Hampton Inn is my favorite hotel in Salinas. When I can get a reasonable rate, usually around $130 a night, I will always book here first. Using the digital key and being able to pick my room is a big plus for me.

front desk lady cancelled my reservation, I still got charged and she told me all the rooms were booked when I was trying to book again after her cancelling my room. Ended up staying at the Hilton down the road and it was a far better experience, told them of our encounter with Hampton inn and they waived all fees for the lady being terrible.

Everything was fine, my reservation was for a king bed,I was given two queens. Entrance key didn’t work. Breakfast was real good.

Great new facility! I liked the underground parking with an elevator to my floor. And I loved the EV charging station as I have a Tesla and was able to charge overnight so I could be well on my way in the morning! I would stay here again, and recommend it to friends and associates!

I am a loyal customer of Hampton Inn especially when we go to LA for our Universal and Disney trip every year. Since it was a short trip to the bay, i decided to book Hampton and try it in the area. The place itself is actually better than that one we stay at LA. The room we got was nice and spacious. Downside? Customer service is horrible. When we checked in, they gave us first floor (i asked for a higher floor because of privacy issue. I like my windows open for bright light). front desk said no available rooms coz they’re fully booked. I guess i didn't have a choice. That night, I asked for 2 extra pillows and the guy who answered the phone was very rude! They said they are all out. Im like hmmmm this is the first time i’ve heard about it. Cause every time i ask pillows they have some to spare. Later that night, my husband and my daughter went out to check some goodies to buy and my husband was surprised it was too expensive $22 worth of only 4 small items so my husband said no cancel it, but the same big guy who helped him got a nasty attitude telling my husband he already punched it in and he was insisting to my husband to pay, my husband was like no never mind. So he walked out and he seen that the guy mumbled to his co worker. Such a disappointment on how their customer service in this location. So what happened to the “Making you happy makes us happy”? Wont be coming back in this location.

We were on the 3rd floor and it was relatively quiet, just a little road noise occasionally, which is to be expected. Nice new place with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Breakfast was good, friendly staff! Convenient location and good value! Gym looked really nice, we had to leave early and couldn’t use it.

It was very clean

We stayed Friday through Sunday. Saturday night when we came back to the hotel, there was zero parking because some of the cars were most likely friends of the guests who were actually staying at the hotel. Which made us have to park on the street. That was the only down side to our stay.

Biggest surprise was no freezer in the room, I needed to freeze an ice pack so it could go on the plane. I was too tired to go down, so they froze it a bit for me in the AM. (5 hotel rooms in 5 days, this was the only one without a freezer section). Gorgeous room, plenty of space, didn't like the barn door for the bathroom. loud. Nice fitness center. Wished there was a pool. Great breakfast, maybe get another waffle maker, there was a line.

It was excellent! I always like the free breakfast to start my day off right. Variety was great. One thing about this particular location was that the listing said free parking but when we got to the hotel, parking was $15 a night.

THE FRONT DESK STAFF WAS SUPER FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH ANY QUESTIONS I HAD. BREAKFAST ITEMS WERE PLENTIFUL AND DELISH.

Rooms are spacious, quiet, and efficiently appointed. Property is modern, clean, and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And the complimentary daily breakfast is definitely an added bonus.

As day was relaxing. We had dinner and then went shopping in the morning.

But the ventilation system runs 24/7 and is too noisy. The sound comes through the vent in the bathroom and was too loud and disruptive. And an impediment for sleep. Unless the sound can be addressed I will not return. Hopefully the ventilation/fan system can be resolved. Or turned off at night.

We enjoyed our visit to the bay area. The hotel was clean and modern. Our room faced (odd number room) faced El Camino Real. Road noise kept me awake. I didn't get much sleep during our three days stay. Free breakfast was offered. Housekeeping was offered every other day. The TV was not centered in front of the bed. We had to turn our heads to the right to watch television. It was a little uncomfortable on the neck. IMO.. the hotel was okay for the price. The staff was great!

The bathroom was not cleaned properly, and my wife also found dirty towel among the bathroom towels. The manager of the hotel after the parking incident did not even try to make any effort to make us feel better. I asked for the name of their insurance, she refused to give the name.

This little gem hit all the high notes. Good location, great facility and amenities, and a later check-out that we appreciated. There are several restaurants close by as well.

This location is easily accessible. The experience was smooth right from the start of checking in , tidy room , abundant parking spaces , tasty and healthy breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times

No housekeeping. They check the rooms at 7am, and if you have a DND sign on the door, leave you a note saying that they are skipping service for the day. When I complained at the front desk, they placed me on the no more housekeeping list. Kind of annoying that it’s the guest responsible to beg and schedule housekeeping when it’s advertised daily as a service provided.

Never staying here again !! The first room they gave us the heater wasnt working we had to move to another room the second room they gave us the shower wasnt working we could not shower called front desk and she said no one could fix it until the next day NEVER STAYING HER AGAIN!!!

I had one major issue with the thin walls, listening to the man in the next room snore all night. It was unbelievably loud to where it felt like he was in the same room. Also, the tv would not pick up regular channels, it just went black after selecting channels, I was stuck watching Tubi.

Nice rooms, fridge available, complementary bottled water, and coffee available at all times. Comfortable beds and accessibility options for people with reduced mobility. Friendly staff.

The check in staff were amazing. Two friendly and helpful women checked us in and we were so very happy. They even gave us recommendations on where to eat!

My bed smelled like someones head sweat. I requested the pillows to be changed out. It didn't help the smell. First time ever I had to sleep on the opposite side of the bed ever at a hotel. It was totally gross.

It was our first time staying; we drove almost two hours to see a soccer game. We booked a room, and everyone at the hotel was amiable. My husband, my 1-year-old child, and I stayed at the hotel. The hotel room was clean, and it was quiet at night. I love that the parking was only $9 a night very affordable as well. We will be coming again :)

It took nearly two hours to check in and we were exhausted. Hotels.com staff was so helpful, but the hotel front desk appeared to be new or not able to work through the established processes. We arrived at 12:30 am and did not get into our room until after 2 am. The room was beautiful and I loved the garage parking. Breakfast met the need to eat before taking off in the morning.

They tried tk change my king room to two queen room whcih wouldn't work, wifi was not available and when we called tk get it resolved the receptionist had me to talk to their IT dept and fix the wifi myself and be on the phone for 30 min to get it resolved, and the mini fridge did not work ..

The only thing we didn’t like is ir was too noisy and we can hear rowdy guests screaming in the hallway, next door talking too loud and footsteps from the upper level. But we’ll definitely come back here again. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
