Well maintained, helpful staff

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful! However the pictures make this place look way nicer than it is. The floor smelled like cigarettes and my room had a faint smell of urine. The pool was closed.

I liked the room it was very clean and comfortable. We asked for extra blankets and they gave it with a smile. I've stayed at 4 to 5 star hotels and for me this was more comfortable. The windows open the bed is comfy, had a great sleep. The hotel is not on a busy road so it is quiet. The bathroom was clean. I will be back. They also have a real Kurig in the room, makes great coffee. Free parking yay!

Stayed with a friend for the memorial weekend. Check in was smooth, easy parking, and room was spacious. We appreciated the towels being changed out every day. The elevator is a little outdated but wasn’t an issue. If you’re going to be out majority of your trip and just need an affordable room to stay with all the amenities, this is the place for you.

I loved the location, great shops near by and the parking facility. Corridor smell, initial manager behaviour and the beds were small and uncomfortable.

I was very happy with the room. I like the office-like desk, the couch, the kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine, the little sink and the kitchen ware for eating and preparing food. It was clean and the bathroom was clean and nice also. I was able to get quarters from them and get all of my sweaty cycling gear clean using the laundry they have there. No complaints.

I stayed here for 2 weeks. Vic, at the front desk is awesome ! He was very helpful and understanding. It's quiet ! Unfortunately, when the toilet flushes, it is loud ! And I stayed in different rooms and found this same problem in each room that I stayed in. The walls are not very well insulated, so one night I heard people down the hall being loud while being intimate with each other. For the price, this place was nice.

The place was a little bit difficult to find as it was a bit hidden from the street view and I drove past the entrance two times before finding it. The Cherry Orchard Inn is in a beautiful location with very friendly and professional staff that really go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. I hope to return in the summer and would definitely recommend staying here.

Thermostat on the wall did not work

My sister and I stayed here briefly during a major medical emergency in the family. The room was clean but the property was far more outdated than the online photos indicated, and the room had a persistent smoke odor. The layout is not very accessible, with narrow hallways, external stairs, and an old elevator that does not align with the floor making rolling luggage difficult. Most disappointing was the customer service. When the hospital placed us in emergency lodging, the hotel refused to refund the unused night beyond a minimal amount. Policies aside, a small amount of grace in a medical crisis would have mattered. I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

They have extremely weird rules regarding needing to enter and "check" the room. Their policy which is listed on the form you sign at check in is after 3 days, but they choose when to randomly enforce this policy. I declined cleaning and called the front desk about the request from housekeeping one day. I was told that I could come down before 11 am and switch rooms since they needed to come in to clean the room after about 1 week. When I came down the next day to switch rooms, I was then told that it doesn't make any sense for me to switch rooms and I needed to find 25 minutes to allow for cleaning. I once again declined and housekeeping came in to "check" the room after lunch that day. HUGE turn-off

Room was upgraded, but bathroom still needs upgrade. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Many places to eat around the hotel that are walking distance.

We needed a place to stay in Stockton and this was the night before we received the keys for our new home. They even got me a cup of coffee. One suggestion is to put small Mr Coffee units in each room.

For the money I paid it was good. Clean, comfortable. Front desk had great service. Microwave made some weird noise, did not use the refrigerator. Outdated but not too bad. Parking was ok. It was a overnight stay, something quick, close to a lot of shopping and dining. I would rate it a 3-star hotel. Convenient for a quick stay. My kids got a kick out of the elevator, it’s an older elevator, but worked perfectly fine.

Nice family run business. They offered us a ride to diner due to our ride a long way away. Nice customer service on a personal level. I appreciate that and recommend this family run hotel when in need of a stay.

We arrived pretty late around 10 pm , Kumar was so helpful and nice. Give us some tips around the area. Rooms were clean provided coffee with a Keurig in the room. Beds were comfortable we frequent Stanford for my family, definitely coming back again. If you want a Holiday Inn or Sheraton experience for Hilton, go there otherwise this hotel is perfectly fine.

Kumar was fantastic as I checked in. The room was a good size, coffee machine with water, microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. The pillows seem packed with over-worked cotton balls. The room was clean and tidy. The hot water was quick and good. The bathroom light over the sink was ancient and only partially turned on. The AC is a wall unit in the room. The cover was lose and came off as I turned it on, so I got it back on as best as I could. The bathroom amenities were nicer than I expected. Towels clean and not threadbare. House keeping refreshed the room perfectly the next day and was appreciated.

Check in and the staff were great and also very helpful. My room was very clean but it was a bit noisy at night with sounds from air conditioner and fridge (I think). But it didn't happen every night. All in all, it is a good place to stay.

We had a great 6-day stay at the Cherry Orchard Inn. Very friendly and responsive staff. Smartly configured rooms with nice amenities/features. For example: seperate refrigerator and freezer, good size smart TV, comfortable bed, krups coffee machine, sun block out blind, plenty of USB and power outlets, thermostat driven heating/cooling system, good central location, pet friendly, overall very good value)

This is a basic hotel. Well run but not fancy. It is set back from El Camino Real which means it's quiet. No frills just a good bed and basic room.

I didn't like any of it. They made unauthorized charges on my card 3 or more times. I would call them and ask to extend a night and before I could get to the lobby they charged my card. They forced my card and caused my bank account to go negative. Now my bank excepts me to pay that back. The place is terrible. Save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else

I had an extended stay over a week at Cherry Orchard Inn. Very clean and quiet property with ample parking, friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Very convenient location with supermarkets, restaurants and shopping close by. The rooms are well maintained.

It was a good place but the rooms were noisy I didn't stay overnight! I wanted to rest for 3-4 hours but the room above me was boisterous.

I’ve been staying here one visit a month for years. The staff has always been amazing and accommodating and helpful when I ask for suggestions on where to find entertainment. It’s always clean (some rooms are showing a little more wear than others but they’re always clean!) and the temp controls are working and I love the light out shades on the windows. I highly recommend.

The service I have received since I arrived has been excellent. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpfull. The housekeeping has great staff. This is a great team of people working in this hotel. They all go out of their way to help.

It was a pleasant find, older building but have remodeled most rooms, very spacious and provides a keurig in the room which is a nice upgrade. And it's in a great location near Lawrence on El Camino. Definitely will stay again.

Sound facility. Pleasant desk staff. Tough to stay 3 days and have the room not serviced. Ran out of soap, coffee, and towels. Everything worked except the toilet ---required 3 to 4 flushes to finally get the bowl clean.

The hotel is recently remodeled and was nice. One of the comfiest hotel beds I have been, blackout blinds, nice flooring, and nice shampoo etc. Excellent little place at a good price. Great location as well.

I’m terrible with names but the young man at front desk was polite, helpful, GENUINE, and welcoming. Housekeeping is on it and the property, in my opinion, is all around kept nice and clean. Room was clean and staff was friendly. It is close and convenient for persons with a morning appointment at the Kaiser hospital complex.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and had clean linens. The pillows were less than desirable (way too soft). But that’s the dice you throw unless you bring your own. LOL It did get a little too stuffy and hot at night. I didn’t want to run the A/C all night but ended up doing that so I didn’t overheat under the blankets. All in all, a good stay and a good value. Will definitely look this place up next time in coming to town.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was well equipped with usb ports at the headboard, keurig coffee machine, automated shades and room was spacious. Daily cleaning and the cleaners were very nice and did a thorough job. I highly recommend this inn and don’t judge outside appearance because it doesn’t reflect the other qualities that are hidden from view. Comfortable bed and quiet location despite being on El Camino. Good stay :)))

Cherry Orchard Inn was a perfect no-frills hotel. The front desk employees and the teams that cleaned the room were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is on the older side so the walls are thin (bring ear plugs) it was always quiet by 9pm. The rooms have been refurbed and the beds are super comfy. The bathrooms are equivalent to 4 star hotels and the wifi is pretty fast. Definitely will stay here again.

Best rooms for value in the south bay. You'll be hard pressed to guess if youre in Hilton or an economy type hotel. New remodeled rooms but the amenities like towels and stuff is not cheap!
