- 5/5
I had a great stay.
- 5/5
Easy access, clean room, parking was good , handicap spot was available. Air conditioning worked well.
- 3/5
It was okay. Bed was good. TV control didn’t work, breakfast was poor. On a whole, it was adequate.

The place stinks and it’s so outdated.

I have stayed here several times and I am so happy that there is new management. The new manager is helpful and absolutely understands the system and customer service. Thank you.
- 4/5
No staff in office until 7am. It was locked. The reception worker was very unfriendly. No shampoo or soap in room. Only decaf coffee in room. Breakfast was fine except cold sausage and no eggs.
- 5/5
Was easy to check in. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to highway to go explore the area. Had a continental breakfast every morning.
- 5/5
Was an older property staff was amazing. Room was just what they claimed. Clean and quiet. Would stay again.
- 3/5
While the hotel property itself may have been satisfactory, the overall experience was unfortunately lackluster. The staff were poorly rated, and the bathroom tub was described as disgusting. The breakfast offered in the morning was also disappointing, with issues such as a malfunctioning waffle machine and cold sausage. The only redeeming aspect of the stay was the swimming pool and hot tub area, but this alone is not enough to recommend this place.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Very affordable. No bedbugs and it didnt smell like cigarettes or anything bad. Easy access to the room from multiple entry points and the staff/owner is approachable. AC works super well! Look, this is a small operation with what I'm guessing is very little staff. Beds are hard but they dont have bedbugs. Are they cleaning the headboard by the mattress, probably not. Would i shower or swim in the pool, no. You can if you want.
- 5/5
For me, everything was excellent for the price of the room. The only inconvenience was the lack of a sufficient number of trash cans in the room.
- 4/5
Very good
- 2/5
The staff at the desk were always nice and did the right thing for me as a customer, so I appreciate that. The rooms are very dated, and many things made me question

Very unkept property and facility. The bedsheet had a urine stain. The front desk who happened to be the manager/owner was nonexistent at the front desk, even when the bell was rang for assistance. I tried to be patient waited a couple minutes each time then a child popped out from the back and went back to let them know I was upfront waiting and it still took a good five minutes to get a response. That was the only time I could get anyone’s attention at the front. There was a time where the toilet clogged there is no plunger. I went to the front for help and no one was there even when I rang the bell or called on the phone. Very rude and cruel when I informed we would like to check out one night early. I had to go through Expedia multiple times just to get a response from their manager after they had already hung up on me for inquiring about the Expedia refund and I made sure to tell them we were checking out early well before 11 AM so they could resell the room. The hot tub and pool smelled very odd. And the floors were sticky throughout our room. The photos of the rooms and facility were very misleading. Use your hard earned money somewhere else!

Room 107 god aweful smell.. like animals . Bathroom was not clean .breakfast was waffles and bread and sausage you could not eat. We che checked in late so it was just a place to sleep but thank God im a woman cause I had perfume I sprayed. It made it bearable.. but no I would not recommend.

Everything is great definitely would stay again! Very clean, staff was great, little out dated but not anything bad at all! I love they had free breakfast, hot tub and pool. Definitely great for solo trip. Great price! All around great stay!
- 3/5
It was a cheap room, the bed seemed clean and comfortable. They need to address the overflowing garbage cans outside hotel entrances.
- 2.5/5
The only thing edible at breakfast was the coffee which I had to request be made. Although the person checking us in was very polite she was way too chatty and it was excessive! Being polite is one thing, holding people hostage to hear your life storage is another. The in room coffee is meaningless. Yellow water came out at first in the tub until it cleared up.

Parking was open. The place is in disrepair. Smoke alarm was in a drawer, the fan vent in the bathroom was half off, the bathroom door was discolored from a flood, the fridge was iced up …. and the continental breakfast had limited, uninviting options.
- 3/5
Beds were very hard , need to be updated
- 2.5/5
Large room with firm king size bed, fridge/freezer (bit noisy though), table & 2 x chairs, air-con/ heater, quite location. Noisy fridge, bath plug did not seal, guest litter bins at side access was overflowing.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was small but fine. It was quiet.

Parking was easy.

You get what you pay for.
- 5/5
The front desk manager was super accommodating and very, very friendly. It was extremely refreshing to interact with someone so kind and helpful!! In fact , the entire hotel staff were eager to help if anything was needed and any interaction I had with them was very pleasant.
- 1/5
Don't waste your money!!! Not only was the TV not working... No hot water in the morning. No maid service to replace coffee and make beds. Breakfast was a joke.no coffee in the lobby. I have family nearby and would love to be able to be closer to them but next time I'll drive to Salem!!!
- 3/5
Lady at check-in was very nice and friendly. Out TV never worked we were told the weather caused satellite problems. The lady at checkout was totally unfriendly and impossible to find even after ringing the bell multiple times. Had to leave with no receipt.
- 5/5
nice and clean
- 3/5
No elevator
- 2/5
Everything was fine other than the bed….. quite possibly the worst bed I’ve ever slept on. Staff was extremely nice, only saw her once but she was very nice. Didn’t expect much based on what I paid but I honestly thought about sleeping on the floor the bed was so uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, efficient and helpful during check in. My room was clean. Parking was good, had a spot just outside the side door and made coming and going very easy. There was a continental breakfast and heard they may expand to carry more breakfast items in the near future.
- 3/5
Room is ok, tv doesn't work. Bathroom is dirty. Toilet need a deep clean. We enjoy swimming pool and breakfast.
- 5/5
Love the pool and the breakfast. And the staff is always friendly
- 3/5
The pool is big and nice close to freeway.
- 2/5
Both rooms had spider and little white bugs on the floor . One room the toilet had urin spot on it when you lifted the seat. One room had stains on the pillow case had to get a new pillow at the desk
- 3/5
Needs an overall remodel and update.
- 3/5
Bed was hard, pool and whirl pool were amazing.
- 4/5
Parking was easy and secure. It is very quiet at night and we slept well there. The hotel is a bit dated and the amenities simple, but the price reflects that and overall it represents a good value if you want to stay in the Sublimity/Stayton area. If you are used to 4 and 5 star hotels you may not like it, but it is plenty adequate for us simple folk.
- 5/5
Outstanding front desk agent at both check in and check out . Very clean comfortable and safe feeling property . Beautiful night sky view
- 5/5
Ac was fine.
- 4/5
Check in very pleasant and very helpful. Room was clean, pool was open and other guests were using it. All good.
- 3/5
Did not usr kaundry services. Heater warmed the room.
- 3/5
Yes
- 3/5
The room is ok. Beds are harder than a peice of wood..the breakfasts is lacking. Possibly add in mini cinnamon rolls, and better cereal option than corn flakes. O and put a grabage can in the bathrooms. First hotel I've ever seen without a garbage can in the bathroom. And they shut my key card off to my room 45.minutes before check out time.
- 3/5
The hotel is ok, the furniture is old, the complimentary breakfast is a waffle machine, a toaster, and cold cereal. The indoor pool is nice. It’s quiet when empty.
- 5/5
Great experience there...clean and amenable to our needs...thank you...
- 1/5
Do not recommend.
- 5/5
The room was nice and quiet. Nice people who work there. I would recommend
- 5/5
Nice people.
- 5/5
The nicest people that are helpful and kind.
- 1/5
The only positive I could note was the one lady that worked in the evenings at the front desk. She was very kind and friendly but what a gross place to work. Do not spend your time here.
- 4/5
Nice room and friendly staff name Sandy
- 1/5
Arrived yesterday with two days prepaid and they said it wasn’t paid so I paid for a day so I could stay the night and now we’re disputing about the two days that I prepaid and I called Expedia and they hung up on me three times so I’m a little upset and hopefully we can fix this problem because I’m now $350 into you guys for just one night let’s solve this problem
- 2/5
But people were very nice and friendly. Need sugar free syrup for waffles Shower walls gross curtain rod not secured
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly

Bridgeway Inn & Suites is truly a hidden gem and represents incredible value for the price. Our entire experience, from a smooth check-in to easily extending our stay, was outstanding. However, the defining moment of our visit was the truly unparalleled customer service provided by staff member, Sandy. I had accidentally double-booked a portion of my extended stay, creating a policy issue on my end. Before I even had a chance to ask for assistance, Sandy took complete ownership of the problem. She spent over an hour navigating the hotel's policies with the owners and coordinating directly with Expedia to fully resolve the error. Sandy's proactive dedication and effort to correct my mistake—without prompt—went above and beyond any expectation. The hospitality and care shown here are simply amazing. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay and world-class customer service!

We arrived late because our flight was a late afternoon. It was freezing outside, my husband was shivering I begged if we could get in but staff just played a dumb ear, never opened the door just left us all freezing outside until she was finished checking us in which took forever. I won't go back to this place again, I'd rather drive a little further with good customer service but clos but let you freezing outside- so inconsiderate, I'm sorry.

- 5/5
Amazing !!
- 4/5
Yes parking was secure, Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool.
- 4/5
Clean, quiet, simple. It had all that we needed.
- 3/5
The manager did not seem to know what she was doing and is not very guest friendly.
- 3/5
We felt very unsafe. Luckily we were only staying one night.
- 5/5
Staff is so kind!
- 3/5
The hotel is old and a bit rundown. The carpet is old and stained, pretty much everything is. The hotel is quiet and ok to stay just don’t expect much
- 5/5
Older hotel but well maintained. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly and courteous. Have stayed there several times.
- 5/5
Met our needs well.
- 1/5
They kick us out so they can book someone else to use our room that we arrive in middle of night. I’m still talking to whoever to get my money back since we didn’t even sleep in our own room
- 5/5
Make your own waffle is a nice touch to breakfast.
- 3/5
Parking good. AC good. Not the cleanest
- 5/5
everything was good
- 1/5
Absolutely not! The staff were rude and invasive, and tried to open the door while I was changing more than once, even though I had paid for late checkout and communicated at numerous times
- 1/5
That paired with the fact that I paid for late check out on both of the days yet I still had housekeeping open the door and try to enter while I was changing!!! And before you ask, yes I did tell them not to enter. They didn’t care and they just kept opening the door. I can’t even believe it either! I had to argue to be respected and that is far from ideal. And it happened both times! I stayed Friday night before an event and then I stayed Sunday night after my event and was walked in on BOTH times. Plus, there weren’t even batteries in the smoke alarm and no free Wi-Fi like advertised. Overall, if you want to be walked in on and disrespected by the staff, then this is the place to stay. If you value your privacy like most people do then definitely avoid this place and probably this entire town.
- 5/5
Clean, basic hotel. Hot tub was very clean and the temp was amazing.
- 1/5
Broken TV, strobing bathroom light, hard bed and deflated pillows.
- 2/5
Dirt bathroom...toilet, sink, shower, bathroom door filthy !
- 5/5
Location is good and near to the main road. Room are big and clean.
- 1/5
I won’t be able to check in and I have been trying to cancel but can’t seem to get ahold of anyone
- 3/5
Front desk closed at around 9 pm - 7 am. No front desk service throughout the day
- 4/5
Everything looked good and I liked that they had a hot tub and pool and breakfast. But several things were not working right in our room-2 flickering light bulbs we asked to get replaced, and we had a hard time getting the tv to work. staff on duty didn’t know what to do but brought us a lamp and offered to change our room but we said it was ok. My husband eventually got the Tv going after about half hour of working on it.
- 5/5
Front desk staff at check-in was great. The next morning, the staff at front desk was not near as friendly.
- 4/5
Breakfast was skimpy.
- 4/5
Decent hotel if you’re in the area hiking. Aged and needs updating. But overall clean and took care of what we needed it for for 2 nights.
- 3/5
Hotel was very basic, a place to put your head down right off the freeway. Very dated. Very basic. Two floors...no elevator. Would recommend bringing your own breakfast.
- 4/5
The bathtub needs to be more clean and remove molds. Need to provide more healthy breakfast than all carbs
- 1/5
Be weary of a scam. They claim there is an issue with the reservation and want to charge your card again but truthfully there are no issues and then refuse to respond to Expedia when asked for clarification. See google reviews. Rooms and halls stink of old smoke and uncleanliness. Broken furniture. Hard beds. This place is operating on people's naivete
- 5/5
A nice stay after a week of camping. It’s not the most chic, a little dated. But it did the job. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a little bit more on the eh side. The service was friendly and welcoming.
- 5/5
Very nice motel staff was amazing
- 1/5
The breakfast room was awful. No selection. One other postive was the hotel was easily accessible from the Hwy. Close to Stayton. And not that far from Salem.
- 2/5
Lots of problems with our room and nothing was done about it.
- 2/5
Very little to recommend this property, except it was the closest property to where we wanted to stay, and in general, it was clean. On one of the beds, even though the sheets had obviously been laundered, they were stained, which isn't acceptable. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom, with mold growing underneath. The tissue holder was rusty; no tissues. There were issues with the TV or remote, or maybe both. The breakfast bar consisted of a waffle maker, a toaster with English muffins, and corn flakes. Next time I'll drive a little farther and pay a little more.
- 1/5
Bad bad, staff was not prepared and not knowledgeable on her duties.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not fancy but was adequate. The pool and hot tub were nice. We would definitely stay here again,
- 4/5
The breakfast consist of waffles. No bacon, egg or sausage. Coffee was lukewarm. Receptionist was friendly
- 5/5
The staff is amazing. Their hot tub and pool area was clean and very nice. The beds are comfortable.
- 4/5
A little outdated, but clean. Sandy was excellent
- 1/5
A terrible place to stay, nice area, close to the highway, everything was old, not entirely clean, I don't know why Expedia has hotels like this on the website to offer. I would never recommend this place.
- 2/5
We got locked out of our room at like 1am and none of our key cards worked. No one was in the office and the main enterence was locked. We called and eventually a staff member overheard my unhappiness in the hallway of not being able to get in our room and helped us. There were ants in the bathroom and weird little bugs in our bed. While i dont believe they were actual bed bugs as i snapped a picture and did some investigating bugs in the beds at all was an ick. Other than that everything was fine, quiet, friendly staff. I should have read previous reviews before booking the stay.
- 4/5
Great experience.
- 4/5
place was clean, staff was nice, only thing i would have to say in negative way was the breakfast sucked. coffee was terrible. but the spa and pool was really clean, accessible and the room was clean. staff was very nice so i was happy with my selection of where to stay on our trip. i would recommend this place.
- 1/5
Our reservation was for a double queen for four people. Our room had three shower towels, one hand towel, and two wash cloths. Given our experience with the desk the night before, we didn’t even want to ask for towels! Beds were terrible. If all you need is a clean place to sleep, I guess it’s adequate?
- 4/5
needed
- 1/5
Room was filthy. Had to change rooms due to sewage smell. Would never stay there again.
- 4/5
Lorraine was very friendly and helpful!!!
- 1/5
Horrible bed very uncomfortable
- 3/5
Check in was fast and friendly. Room was comfortable. Lobby closes from 10 PM to 7 AM. Unfortunately there was a sprinkler that was broken and it was directed at my car in the morning, but hey- free car wash!
- 5/5
Quiet easy parking
- 5/5
Quiet
- 3/5
Great location for our needs. Wi Fi very poor. TV complicated to operate, not user friendly. Even the front desk could not get it working. Breakfast was OK, could have more varitey. No cleanleness issues that we noticed. Pet fee for service dog was not listed prior to our stay.
- 4/5
What I like this place is it is near the freeway/highway. What I did not like were: no WiFi, tv was not working.
- 5/5
Very kind and accommodating to my elderly mother. Thank you!
- 5/5
This is a wonderful basic motel; it was comfortable and felt safe, staff were helpful, and check-in was easy. A great stay overall, and excellent value!
- 1/5
Very poor management if you can’t trust your staff to do what’s right. No maintenance man apparently and again said no excuse front desk staff needs to know how to handle these situations. Won’t go back won’t recommend, in fact I will actively tell people not to stay there. They are welcome.
- 1/5
The lady who came out (no name tag) was belching loudly, which is quite unprofessional. When my husband presented the reservation number to her that had been made a week before, she told him she had no rooms and that she had told Expedia not to take reservations because we lose money. After MUCH discussion, she rudely said. "Give me your ID". Again she said I have no rooms. So after another discussion about how he had reservations ahead of time and it was past our cancellation period, she kept saying "I don't know what to do" several times (like to herself) and then puts a paper on the counter and says"sign this" but instead of a pen she puts a pair of scissors on the counter. Of course, he asks her how am I supposed to sign it with these? She literally just stares at him for about 5 seconds and then hands him a pen. The whole time her speech is barely legible. Unbelievable!
- 4/5
Sandy, the front desk lady is nice and helpful especially during our breakfast, she personally offer to help us to make some waffles. The place is safe and other staffs are nice too. Right location when you are going to visit Silver Falls State Park.
- 1/5
We arrived late at night, lobby was closed I rang the bell a few times and called 3 times I finally get a response and the front desk lady sounds asleep saying there are no rooms! I had a confirmed and payed reservation.. she said sorry I don’t have any rooms, very upsetting and frustrating after driving for a few hours only to arrive and be told this, not to mention she was extremely rude!
- 1/5
I would have loved if they would have had my room I booked days ago
- 1/5
This place was dirty and nothing worked
- 4/5
Very convenient for staying in Stayton. Breakfast is handy before hitting the road.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly. Price was affordable.
- 5/5
We had some night owl neighbors above us and we didn't get much sleep. I asked for an extension of my check out time and the staff happily agreed. Continental breakfast didn't have much of a selection but the food they did have was good. I felt the price of the room was perfect for what we got. Everything was clean and the staff were super nice.
- 4/5
Price was good.
- 2/5
Front desk couldn't make keys or take payment, so staff had to let us into our room and building for a day. Carpet not vacuumed thoroughly. Junk on carpet between furniture. Bathroom shower brown stains. Dirty caulk. Rusting fixtures. TV requires two remotes to get working. Wifi broken and unavailable on half the property where our room was. Back exit unsecured, doesn't close on its own.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Nice staff pretty good property!
- 5/5
Great property, great price, staff super helpful!
- 2/5
Minimal efforts to maintenance, very noisy from adjacent rooms, minimal staffing, broken or missing security (locks or locking latches) worn out bed, minimal cleanliness, broken widow latch and screen on ground level
- 4/5
Good place
- 1/5
Two different doors to the parking lot do not shut securely. One of the doors had blue painters tape on it in several places. Had to pull them with a lot of force to get them to latch. I used either of the two eight different times. Each time they were not securely shut but were ajar. Very unsafe!! An elderly woman was also upset due to a lack of safety.
- 2/5
The water was orange so showering was out, the bed was comfortable and they had a got tub that was clean so overall it wasnt terrible.
- 2/5
Be careful. There were some people hanging around the parking lot. The staff claimed that the people (who were sleeping in their car) were friends of the owners.Doors that were supposed to be locked in the evening hours were left unlocked and propped open. All the fitness equipment was broken so the fitness room could not be used. The internet didn't work in my room. I had to either sit in the lobby (and listen to the staff argue with each other) or sit in the pool area. Other guests complained, too. I did like the location of the hotel. It just needs some care and attention to be a nicer place.
- 1/5
Horrible spiders everywhere no hot water and couldn’t take a shower the water was coming long out brown..
- 1/5
Once in the room, it was very outdated. The microwave didn’t work. The bathroom was very small and the tub backed up right away when I tried to shower. The beds were not comfortable at all. Would not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Inviting, clean and quiet
- 5/5
Clean
- 1/5
Outdated, not clean, people were racist and scammers taking $ when they weren't suppose to.
- 3/5
Just an average, clean hotel
- 4/5
The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly.
- 3/5
Toilet bowl has ring around it .The whole room definitely needs an upgrade especially the bathroom and light fixtures.
- 3/5
Doors close at 7 so didnt know you had to go around back of building. Tv did not work and bed was way to hard.
- 1/5
Smells like dog right when we walked in. They had a room that was left opened to air. The over night lady at the front told us she was sleeping. She did not know which room we had. Bedding in the room was not good. Cleanliness was horrible! No bulb in one of the lamps! Homeless out by the trash dumpster diving! Not a recommendation for a last minute stay!
- 2/5
The best part of the stay was their hot tub. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the door didn't shut/lock all the way.
- 5/5
Every nice and staff.was very attentive.
- 5/5
Swimming pool and hot tub were great
- 1/5
Horrible smell can’t understand anything the staff are saying, feel disgusting just walking in, took 20 min just to get some one at front desk.
- 5/5
Unfortunately, the pool was closed while i was there.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly. The issue was, however, the pool and hot tub were "closed until further notice". Why was I paying full price for amenities I was not able to use?
- 2/5
Not the cleanest or well kept. Pool was closed.
- 1/5
Lack of food at breakfast. No coffee. Pot was empty . No milk for cereal. No waffle batter. No one at office to tell of problem. Baggles were limited to several days old . Tables were dirty and garbage in food area appeared to be days old.
- 2/5
The customer service is not that great, never asking if you need towels and barging in without knocking to clean on time so that the poorly trained manager does not get upset. They do serve breakfast but that is if you get in there before they lock your room an hour before check out. I had been asked to move rooms because a customer that “normally has this room” returned and the manager inconveniently relocated me. They charged me 3x for 2 nights and I had to speak with the owner to even get any kind of resolution. Overall if you need a place to stay it’s an option but not the best.
- 1/5
The entire hotel stunk, the room was not as advertised. It had the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, and the toilet seat was cracked! Extremely disappointed
- 2/5
No real breakfast options. Bread was moldy and bagels stale. Not enough shampoo & Conditioner in bath for two people. No one ate the front desk at night.
- 3/5
Pool and hot tub were closed. Just coffee for "continental breakfast". Lobby was locked off from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00a.m. That was weird. The attendant had such a heavy accent I couldn't understand her. She was also an unhappy person. Ice machine didn't work.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly
- 4/5
Please remove the incense piped into the reception and dining area.
- 3/5
I was disappointed that the coffee maker didn’t work. I had to leave before the breakfast was available
- 1/5
The front desk area was closed after nine pm so had to stand outside to check in. The front desk woman was unfriendly and barely spoke English. She never gave me back my drivers license which I didn’t notice so I called when I got home and asked them to send it to me and again the woman on the phone was rude and barely spoke English. She said I had to call back later if I didn’t want to pick it up myself. The bathroom in the hotel was gross as well. But overall the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Cheap but not worth the price.
- 2/5
The property and inside building was clean and maintained. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. I would focus on comfort like the beds for the customers. Reopen the swimming pool and you would probably get more business!!

A positive is that the drains drained! Beds were acceptable. Service was good.

Be there for late comers who have to check in had to drive to Portland to get another room because no one was at the desk.

It may be because of crime rate, but they make us wait outside the lobby at 40 degree F. Great place for a one night stop.

Great budget hotel!

Tried checking in after 9pm and you have to do it through a small window. There is random trash and garbage around the building. The pool was down. And our room was musky with lamps with no light bulbs and a window that doesn't like to open

Room was on first floor by parking area. Had people walking by window throughout night. Broken down or parted out car in parking lot. Pool, hot tub not working. Continental breakfast is coffee and few snacks. There is awesome bakery walking distance away that is amazing. Bed was very firm so if you like that it’s good. Staff were nice. Fairly cheap hotel so wasn’t expecting amazing.

This hotel was run down, the pool was down, and the neighborhood around seemed sketchy.

It was so bad that we decided to go home early and not stay a 2nd night.

The staff was nice and there were no issues, but the room was just not well cleaned or taken care of.
