Reviews
The hotel is praised for its proximity to Universal Studios and friendly staff. The cleanliness of the rooms is also frequently mentioned. However, the reviews consistently point out that the parking is tight and not ideal for large vehicles. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the room size and price.

Next door to Universal Studios so close you can walk. Right in the middle of great restaurants within walking distance’s. Check in was east and the room was clean comfortable and updated. I will definitely book here again for future trips.

Very small but a nice place to stay .
- 5/5
One negative? No bedside lamps, just overhead recessed lighting that is very bright (like daylight bulbs). Had to open the bathroom door a crack with the light on in there to help us see as we went to bed.
- 3/5
I think you need a dresser in the room and your blanket needs to be washed. Thank you.
- 4.5/5
The bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean the parking is compact, and an suv was super close to me I couldn’t open my passenger side door.

When we entered our room the fridge was turned off and open, there was no bags in the trash can and there was mold in the bathtub. We had been traveling all day and just needed a place to sleep so we did not contact management but was still frustrating. The outside area however is well maintained and looks very cute!

You can walk to the tram that will take you to Universal Studios. Very convenient. Places to eat are close by. You can go to the City walk to eat. Trams run for 6 am to 10 pm. Parking is tight. We had a room with a sofa coach. The couch was not that comfortable.

Rooms and furniture are badly worn. Dont sit on the chairs in case they collapae And dont lean on the table. It will collapse. Tried to make a phone call. Receiver was not connected to the phone, totally broken. Advised staff, oh yeah we know about that. Nothing done to rectify it though. For the money they charge you can find a better place cheaper. Stay away unless you are really desparate. 👎👎👎👎👎
- 4/5
It is clean but small rooms. It has only 1 light so it is not possible to have one person sleep and other have light on for reading or seeing. The positives free parking which is very beneficial in LA. Great walkability. Additionally, the location is very close to Universal studios. You basically pay for location. Parking is tight so make sure you can fit. We didn’t plan on being in the room much so it wasn’t a big deal how it looked. Front staff was very friendly. I would stay again in future.

The staff were very Friendly and accommodating. Thr rooms, though small were clean and were satisfactory in amenities. The rooms look like they were recently refurbished with fresh paint and tiling in the bathrooms. Location is very convenient to Universal studios as well as restaurants and grocery stores within a 1/4 mile of location.
- 5/5
I am so glad we stayed here for our trip to Universal Studios. This hotel is so clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They don't charge for parking and it's within walking distance of a free shuttle to Universal so you don't have to pay for parking there either. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance of this hotel so that was convenient and easy. I would absolutely stay here again. It's a hidden gem!

We stayed for one night at Nite Inn at Universal City - Walking Distance to Universal Studios Hollywood. The main advantage of this hotel is definitely the location. It is very convenient for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood and serves that purpose very well. The room was relatively small, but acceptable for a short overnight stay. The bathroom was perfectly fine and the room overall was clean enough for what we needed. Overall, we would rate the experience around 7/10. Good location and practical for Universal Studios visitors, but there are definitely areas that could be improved. However, the air conditioning unit was very old and extremely noisy. Honestly, it is difficult to understand how someone could comfortably sleep with it running during the night. Fortunately, the weather allowed us to turn it off while sleeping. One important improvement we would strongly recommend is providing luggage storage for guests. Since the hotel mainly targets visitors going to Universal Studios, this should really be offered as a standard service. In Los Angeles, leaving luggage inside parked cars is a serious concern due to theft risks, so not having a secure storage option created unnecessary stress for us.
- 3/5
Very close to theme park Extremely thin walls! Noise was horrible

Universal was walking distance. The staff were very friendly. The only issue was that we did the reservation in their site and they cancelled the reservation with no reason. We called back and we asked to make the reservation again by Expedia.
- 3/5
This property wasn’t what I expected: seemed pricy for one night and to have to put a 200$ deposit down is even more unnecessary after I paid in full upfront. I recall putting a cc down for incidentals but not a hotel funds. I wouldnt stay here again or recommend it. The room looked old and outdated for how much is charged a night.. Staff was mediocre and didn’t really make you feel welcome. No thanks again. Wasn’t for me or my family.
- 1/5
We found what appeared to be mold in our room, and the room had a strong musty odor. Because of the apparent mold and air quality concerns, we did not feel comfortable staying here. If you are sensitive to mold or concerned about health and cleanliness, you may want to consider other accommodations.

- 2/5
The location is close to Universal buts it’s in a horrible part of town. They recommended I park across the street when we went to Universal but my car was broken into. They said it was a queen bed, but it was double. The shower didn’t work. I don’t recommend this place at all. Especially for the ridiculous price. Spend a little more and stay at the Sheraton.

Comfy, quiet, clean, and affordable!!! Continental breakfast consisted of only danishes and coffee and parking is very snug but I would stay here again!
- 5/5
Small property, Easy access to food, gas, and minutes away from Universal Studios.. Continues the tradition of daily housekeeping. Bed made and towels refreshed. Not too fancy but morning coffee and sweet rolls are available in the early a.m.. Rooms have microwave & refrigerator. Had a single queen bed room. The air cooled quickly. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Only thing missing would be a chest of drawers. But this is only needed if you had an extended stay. One other missing item was a bedside lamp. Certainly would book again if visiting Universal Studios!
- 4/5
Parking spots are kind of small. The floor tiles in room are kind of loose. Beds are very comfortable. Very close to universal studios. Staff is very friendly. There’s a subway in 3 min walk nearby.
- 4/5
We needed a low cost hotel near Universal Studios to celebrate a birthday. This hotel was a great location to balance cost and proximity. The reception was a very polite, professional and efficient gentlemen. After a four block walk, we took a free shuttle to Universal Studios. Parking was a challenge late at night and early morning. We hardly could leave our room with big suitcases navigating between cars. There was a friendly homeless gentlemen out front of the hotel camped on the sidewalk. This is the new state of California, it's everywhere. Around the corner were some low end restaurants like Subway, Doughnuts, Pizza, etc. For the proximity, cost and service balance, I would recommend just for sleeping and visiting Universal Studios.

Super easy location if you only plan to go to universal and don’t want to rent a car. The place was exactly as shown in the pictures and the staff were friendly and helpful! Coming from a city where most things are closed by 10pm, it was easy to grab late night food like a burger or pizza right next door till 2am.

I never write these kinds of reviews but our stay here was phenomenal. The room was perfect for our crew! Separate bedroom, 2 beds in the main room. Could have used an extra bathroom but we knew what we were getting into lol. Stayed here 3 nights with 6 humans in the one suite. We had the room serviced each day which was lovely. Some places won’t do it unless you have a longer stay. The “breakfast” was lacking? But again we knew what we were getting and planned. There’s a donut place right next door anyway. And the walk to the tram pickup for US is like 3 blocks. Parking was weird but the lot across the street is free so again we were fine. Some people are prolly too picky but I did research for months before our trip and this place ended up being perfect for our vacation.

Location to universal was good, the staff were very kind. The long black hair left on the bed and shower walls from the previous guests. So much so that you knew the room wasnt cleaned at all. I was really grossed out.

Perfect stay. I’d stay here again. Great value.

Love the coffee machine nice staff. Clean
- 5/5
Location! 5 minute walk to free shuttle. There is a pizza, and burger place next door as well as a liquor store and gas station and it is right off the highway. We were a family of 5 and the room was a good size with 2 beds and one sofa bed. We had plenty of storage space, bath towels, blankets and pillows. Hotel came with mini fridge and microwave. Front desk lady was very nice and check in was fast. N/A
- 1/5
I went back to the front desk to ask if there were any other room options available, but I was told they were completely sold out. What made this even more frustrating was that I could clearly see multiple rooms that appeared vacant, and there was even availability showing online at the time. The room itself was very outdated, with chipped and worn furniture that made it feel even less inviting. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable—very stiff—and I woke up with back aches the next morning. To make matters worse, the noise level was terrible. Neighbors were dragging furniture throughout the night and into the early morning, making it nearly impossible to get any rest. The only positive I can mention is the location—it’s convenient and in a good area. However, the overall experience, lack of transparency, condition of the room, and noise issues made this stay very unpleasant. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Prefect walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and Universal Studios pick up.
- 4/5
Close to subway, liquor store, pizza and In and out Parking is tight.
- 5/5
Room was great and so close to universal studios less than a 10 min walk! Staff was super friendly as well!
- 3/5
The hotel is technically walking distance from Universal, if you want an uphill walk to get there and I mean a steep uphill walk. Room was very small, not like what the pictures made it out to be. Very loud at night. Parking is pretty much non existent especially for a larger vehicle. We got blocked in on more than 1 occasion. Also no elevator for people who have rooms upstairs. Good for a couple with no kids.
- 5/5
The motel staff was excellent and the room was clean. There were quick service eating options very close which I took advantage of during my stay. The room is very basic which matches the price.
- 5/5
Nothing fancy but great staff and close to Universal Studios.
- 5/5
It is a great location the staff is awesome. Reasonable priced as well. Great location for things to do around the area. Great parking. 5-10 walk to a universal studio shuttle close places to eat and gas stations close.
- 3/5
The room was clean but we did have an issue with housekeeping as the day after we arrived we left to universal studios. We came back to our room that night to find out they had came in and thrown away a few of our bags which had stuff from pokemon stores and had some of our belongings in them. They also went through one of our bags we had next to the bed. I called and was told they were only supposed to clean up the room and put clean towels in . And that they dont throw trash away that was not in the trash but they obviously did. Still havent gotten anything resolved. Man at the front desk with check in is very wonderful hoping to speak with him soon to see if we can get this resolved.
- 2.5/5
Walking distance to the free shuttle to Universal Studios was GREAT! When I requested to change to an upper room due to upper room noise, my request was accommodated. The second room experience was much better. Front office staff were really friendly. Really small 1st room; noise from the room above us was really loud.
- 4/5

- 4/5
The staff is amazing! Gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the Universal Shuttle. Loved that this hotel is so close. Room had a mini fridge and microwave, which we greatly appreciated. Plus it was quiet and clean. Really super budget option for families.
- 1/5
Naighbors were fist fighting both nights of the stay. Rust and blood found on the bottom sheet.
- 1/5
We paid alot. Not enough towels were left. The next day our room was not clean no clean towels were left. The AC felt so bad it was raining and the room felt humid. Never staying here again.
- 5/5
Super clean rooms and amazing staff!
- 5/5
The gentleman at the front desk was so kind and welcoming, and he has perfect hair/haircut. Greeted me and my son so warmly and treated us like guests in his own home during our stay.
- 3/5
Very convenient location to universal studios easy to walk there. Otherwise it’s pretty basic - does the job with no frills. The lobby was secured so it felt like a bit of a sketchy area. Pretty expensive too although it was New Year’s Eve. We had a 2 bedroom suite with a total of 3 beds plus a sofa bed which was good.
- 5/5
I will being staying here again. The room was clean and smelled clean . Parking was great
- 1/5
Really loud at night by other guests and employees
- 2/5
Parking was very limited. disappointed that there were no railings by the stairs which forced me to have family assist me to walk up them.
- 5/5
Yes it was clean and nice
- 1/5
Did not sleep there , stayed about 2 minutes as AC did not work and bugs that looked like roaches were coming out of the AC unit and around the bed . Management was told of this and key was returned promptly .
- 4/5
Friendly staff, basic but clean room, nice pastries for breakfast. Would have been 5 stars but wasn’t allowed to leave my car in the car park on check out day while we went to Universal even though the car park had been empty all week, and I didn’t feel safe parking it across the street with my luggage inside.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, very close walk to Universal studios and plenty of food options close by.
- 5/5
Older but very clean, comfortable and nice!
- 5/5
Manager super nice and accommodating
- 5/5
Not really close enough for us to feel safe walking home at night but like a mile away and convenient!
- 4/5
Room was ready and was good for an overnight stay. Small but worked for the wife and I.
- 5/5
Small room but great for 1 night, friendly service, very helpful, not the best bed out there
- 1/5
Very close to Universal Studios. Lots of fast food nearby. Also lots of homeless and mentally unstable people. Would not walk outside at night. Daytime can also be sketchy. Parking is extremely tight and chances of your door getting dinged are very high. Rooms are small and way overpriced. You’re basically paying to be within walking distance of the park. Walls are paper thin. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT STAY AGAIN.
- 5/5
Clean room, good parking and Universal studios is close by...
- 5/5
Great!
- 2/5
We booked for two nights. The parking was extremely compact. A few issues in the unit included, severely worn out couch, no actual closet just hangers on a rod above the microwave, many floor tiles cracked, window blinds broken, shower water never really warmed up and the apartment had no iron.
- 5/5
Hotel room was simple, but clean. The front desk staff were friendly. We liked the free parking. Easy walk to Universal.
- 5/5
Room was clean and close to the park. Parking is tight. Great staff.
- 5/5
Amazing gentlemen at the front when we checked in. Very nice and helpful about getting to Universal on the shuttle instead of walking up and down the hill! Rooms are cozy. Felt kinda safe walking back at 2 am. Not as sketchy as you'd think. Good value compared to the area.
- 5/5
I really like this location as it is close to the park and the rooms are good..the room we recently stayed in was small but it was good for us as it had a table, microwave and fridge ..the bed was very comfortable.only downside is that parking in very limited but other then that I enjoyed the stay .I'll definitely be staying here again when I go out that way next year.

The hotel safe was very pleasant. The room was very clean and well stocked. Parking was on site. Universal is extremely close and you can easily walk to the shuttle stop. Other than the Hilton, I don't think there's a closer hotel to universal studios.
- 5/5
The room was clean and ideal for a night or two, with food options next door. I would stay here again for the park.
- 5/5
We booked this place because it was walking distance to Universal Studios. The check in was simple, rooms were very clean and the servicewas great. There is a Fatburger and Subway restaurant that was only a minute walk and were open until 2am.
- 3/5
Staff were great. Great location, to Universal Studios. The streets were full of rubbish. Bottleshop, and a couple of restaurants/fast food in walking distance to motel. Would think twice about staying here again. The owners need to spend money and upgrade the place.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean.
- 3/5
The accommodation was functional, although an unusual odor was present.
- 5/5
The rooms are on the smaller side but had everything you could need inside the room. Loved the place the only issue I had was the very compact parking spot.
- 5/5
Is within 5 minutes of the metro tunnel as well as the pick-up station for Universal Studios. Also the donut shop just on the corner is wonderful for breakfast.
- 5/5
Great customer service.
- 5/5
Walkable distance to the Universal Studios shuttle bus station and good price for a short term stay in the area.
- 3/5
It was so close to Universal but the area is run down. Staff was nice and very friendly. Room was very small. I killed a bug as soon as I got in. There are no drawers to put your stuff. I had one small bag so it was okay for me.
- 2/5
It was close to our destination.
- 4/5
Close to universal studio is the main reason we chose this hotel, other than that, all other things are about average. Parking is very limited. The price is a bit high.
- 5/5
Excellent friendly staff
- 1/5
The hotel mattress smelled like urine, kids were sneezing inside the hotel room. We had to leave the room and book another hotel room.
- 1/5
We felt very unsafe. We left. We had made reservations and paid for 2 nights through E…. 10 minutes before we got there. Informed manager 20 minutes after we saw the room that we would not be staying the next day and were planning to leave that night. Then left. The desk girl refused to check us out and give us a receipt. She said we had to go through E….because we paid them. The manager refused to speak to E…. for 2 days… hmmm after the charges went through and he got paid. Then refused any refund. I was charged both nights. My credit card company had me document everything with photos and video before I left. I travel a lot. I understand it’s an Inn and wasn’t expecting a lot. But safety, up to code and AC in 90 degree heat wasn’t asking but the minimum. Definitely unsafe. Bait n switch from online to actual site. Read google for accurate reviews.

- 5/5
The room was great for what we need it for. Super close to universal studios which was a big plus. Although parking is very small we managed to find a spot and not move from there the rest of the time we were there so that we wouldn’t loose our spot.
- 5/5
We stayed for 3 night with a toddler, 8 yo, two teens and 3 adults. The Suite was a perfect size to keep us all together. The gentleman and night was amazingly nice, and the woman there in the morning was extremely friendly as well. No issues! It was a great stay that is so close to the park. Will stay again.

The Nite Inn is fine and is a great close location alternative.

This is an old hotel. Nothing shiny and new in the room we stayed in. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. Walking distance to the Universal Studio Tram. Staff at the front desk were pleasant.
- 5/5
Loved the walkability to Universal Shuttle and Subway right next door. Parking was tight but room for one car per room. Good coffee maker and cold water. Too bad didn’t open before 7:30pm. Staff was friendly and nice. Room smelled a bit musty but was clean, nice bed and updated bathroom. Overall would recommend for anyone eanting to go to universal
- 4/5
I like where this property is located. It's within walking distance to universal studios. There are lots of dining options. And stores near by and A little bar/club with live music nightly nearby. The property is a little dated but very clean. So it's worth the stay.
- 4/5
This is VERY close to the shuttle to Universal Studios. Pretty Ron down on the outside but our room was clean and staff was nice and helpful.
- 4/5
My upstairs neighbor sounded like an elephant, so I didn't get much sleep. (Not hotel's fault). Check in was smooth and although parking is tight, I was given a chance to be ina spot that was easy to leave from in the early morning. If you are looking to be close to Universal - you are!
- 3/5
Well, it was a roof over our heads with a bed when we needed it. The hotel was nothing special, but it was very conveniently located 2 blocks away from the Universal studios shuttle, which is why we stayed there.
- 3/5
Great location for Universal and nice staff but…room very small, takes for ever for hot water and parking is difficult. The location is 5 min walk to Universal shuttle. Nice that parking is free.
- 4/5
Hotel was as expected for the price and location. Room was small but clean and the staff were very nice. Location was perfect, only a few minute walk to the free universal shuttle and lots of food options in walking distance. Our room location was great, we had rooms 126 & 127 which shared a patio area with only one other room, it was really nice to have a small outdoor area to sit in the evening. We would stay again.

staff was very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and exactly what we needed - small rooms but had all the necessaries (we only had a short stay), very close to shuttle for Universal Studios, which is why we visited, and a good value!

We were only here for one night, for a day at Universal Studios. We found everything to be nice, clean and comfy. Everything was stocked well with plenty lotion, shampoo, etc! The shower was spacious, had great water pressure and was nice and warm. The parking lot is a tad smaller, but we had no issues! All the employees and staff we encountered were really nice and helpful! They also told us about the free parking across the street for people walking to ride the shuttle. They also helped give us directions to walk to the free shuttle to Universal Studios (which only takes 3-5 min to walk to.) There was a delicious pizza place literally around the corner that we walked to for dinner and it was really good, with very large pizzas! In the morning, they had some complimentary pastries, and a nice hot drink machine- the hot chocolate was really good, and not watered down at all! We will stay here anytime we make another trip to Universal Studios!!

The staff was really kind and helpful. It is a perfect place to rest for the night before going to Universal Studio. It is really close to the park driving. It took us about 5 minutes to get there. We did not eat the light breakfast items that are provided - so cannot comment on that. The room was clean, the set up was two queens and one sofa that turn into a bed. The bathroom was small with enough space for one person and maybe a small kid inside. There was a small bridge which was nice to keep a few sodas cold. Overall, I would go back there again if for only one night.

Overall nice property

Room was fine for our needs, a little small, parking lot is terribly small.

The rooms are a bit small but overall nice and clean. The location being so close to Universal Studios was convenient as well. But what really stood out was the incredible Custer service given by Saed. I was checked in around 9pm and Saed was extremely nice and welcoming. His professionalism and genuine friendliness set the tone for my stay here. You can tell Saed truly cares about the guest’s stay and experience here. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to friends and family.

The clerk at night was my favorite part. He was friendly and helpful while bringing humor to his interactions with us. The location is super helpful with close access to the metro and bus stops to help you get places and for universal it's close to a tram of sorts that takes people to the top. It's a great place to stay if you want a cheaper alternative to the universal hotels. Some words of caution. Parking lot is kinda small any big vehicle will have trouble, breakfast is basically a small danish so don't expect a big meal, We'd be happy to stay there again. The walk can be a bit nerve wracking, but I wouldn't be too concerned

We were really surprised at how nice the rooms were. It was one of the cleanest best remodeled places we have stayed in a long time. They were tiny but you get a feel of history of the former apartment building it used to be back in the early Universal Studio days. Guessing it probably housed many young hopeful actors and actresses. The lobby and staff were amazing. We will definately be staying there again.

This property was within walking distance of Universal and the metro . Would highly recommend

Staff waa great. It was located in walking distance from Universal Studios. The room was clean, but it was outdated.

Overall, it was tidy and worked for what we needed, but I probably wouldn’t return with such a large group. The staff was wonderful, the night receptionist who helped me on our last stay was so kind.

It’s very close to the shuttle from Universal studios, less than a 5 minute walk.

Nice small place!

Okay for the night!

I booked this for a trip to universal with my son and we chose it based on price (can’t be beat) and location (very convenient to metro and universal). It’s definitely a budget option. It’s very clean and the man at the front desk was exceptionally kind and helpful. Easy walking to a hotel shuttle that hauls you up the hill to the theme park (you could walk, but the shuttle is free and so convenient), grocery store within walking distance, lots of close food options. It was noisy (walls/doors not insulated to outside) but we’ve always lived in big cities so the noises of cars and sirens, etc didn’t bother us. Loved having fridge and microwave. Parking seems easy and a big plus, we just did public transit.

It was a great stay and very close to the Universal Studios Hollywood Park. The parking is very small and limited but the owner was kind enough to assist us with the parking! There were lots of restaurants and small shops nearby which was convenient. Overall I enjoyed my stay here!

Easily accessible not hard to locate

The manager was very nice but wasn't helpful. We couldn't change a room, or check out without paying penalty. Very disappointing

Everything you need within walking distance! Perfect location. Not a ton of bells and whistles, but we just needed a clean safe place to lay our heads!

The hotel was perfect! The parking is free. The room was clean. The staff was really nice! It’s near Universal studio park(Walking distance 5 min to the free navette). The mexican restaurant next door was really good.

The noise level was really high traffic wise. The room was really small for 3 people. Staff was really nice!

I wish it was more Ada accessible climbing stairs was not a good thing for me and my family

It was very close to universal, free shuttle in walking distance, the owner is very nice, and helped with what ever we needed, theres a machine for all kind of hot drinks and nice paistries in the morning. Someone came to arrange the room eveyday.

Perfect for what we needed

Walking distance to my venue.

This was a clean motel that was close to Universal Studios. I think most of the area around the park seems a bit sketchy, so I'm always a bit cautious, but this place was decent. The room was small but it was what we needed. I would stay there again.

It was quite and close to Universal and Fatburger

Overall fine. But parking for a big car is hard. Staff very friendly.

The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean and the location was excellent.

Good place to stay for overnight. Rooms are clean but small. Shower did not have hot/warm water. Loved the coffee machine!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you are visiting Universal.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely friendly. Place was clean. Less than a 10min walk to Universal’s free shuttle up to the city walk. Rooms come with a microwave and mini fridge. Complimentary coffee and snack for breakfast. Only a few small issues; the noise from upstairs tenants. But expected from kids. (spring break) Definitely bring your own shampoo. The free soap is harsh on long hair. Many great walking distance food options within a 1-10min walk. Place is great if you plan on staying in the Hollywood area.

Close to Universal Studios. Only a couple of blocks from shuttle. Room was clean. Would stay here again. We didn’t bring a vehicle but parking spots are designated compact and pretty tight.

Really close to Universal, but not really affordable for dining around. Limited parking spots and kind of small room.
- 5/5
Clearly they’ve remodeled the hotel since our last stay here. New coffee machine in the lobby is AMAZING! Distance to universal shuttle is super close. Perfect place to stay when going to the park.
- 4/5
It was a nice quiet clean hotel. The parking was tight. I could barely get out of the parking. Parking is made for compact vehicle's. The room was very clean but not very roomie. It was very small. But still a good hotel.
- 4/5
Clean hotel. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative and walking distance to shuttle to universal. Coffee and danish in the morning and grocery store close
- 5/5
Older hotel but rooms were clean and had 2 comfy beds and a couch. Staff was friendly and honest. My son lost an electronic device and they made sure he got it back!
- 3/5
Great location. Pizza and donuts next door rule! Ralphs down the street and a Starbucks. Universal Studios a short walk up a very long and steep hill! (Just pay $6 for the uber up, walk back lol trust me!). Having said that, I feel bad giving low score on the property itself because its a cool spot but yikes lets just say I wouldnt book the room for my mother. If they put a bit of money into updating the rooms its a whole different story. Felt a little sketchy and I chose not to sleep under the covers or take a shower.
- 5/5
This hotel is very convenient if you're going to universal studios. The rooms were clean smelled nice beds were comfortable. Didn't squeak water pressure in the shower was good. Overall, this is a very decent hotel to stay at at a reasonable price

Property was near a couple of food places and just a 2 minute walk to the Universal trolly. I choose this location because of these features because I have mobility restrictions. Staff were great, very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed each day. Parking is VERY limited and a tight squeeze. We did not have a car for this trip but the lots was always full and only held about 11 cars. We would stay again if we return to Universal Studios.
