Bathtub area had gross mold. Otherwise nice room- large with sitting area. Staff was super nice. Gym was well equipped and large. Nice size pool with towels. Shuttle only goes to Dulles not DCA. Closest eatery is like a mile but I believe the shuttle will run you out to restaurant. Probably a good value if you are driving and have a vehicle.

10 min drive, they even have shuttle from IAD. You have your grocery stores/shopping malls and targets all within 6 min drives. Best part is the deposit is only 15$. I’ve stayed at hotels where they take 200-300$ deposits per night plus different fees, not here. Nice and easy Very friendly staff, there’s also an outdoor pool. Rooms are spacious

Thank you to Mr. Wilaon for his second to none and bend over the backword help to get us the last minute meeting room for my grand sons's 1st birthday. Our original plan for an outdoor party was shattered due to heavy rain and cold weather. Mr. Wilson helped us get a place for our memorable event at the last minute. Thank you Hyallt Place and folks like Mr. Wilson who are so great and so helpful.Enjoyed oyr stay as t this clean a and modern hotel with a full buffet and delicious breakfast.

Overall stay was fine but the property outside was unsafe. They had a big snow storm WEEKS prior to my stay yet had not properly cleared the parking lot. It was icy and unsafe and was difficult to find parking as a result. Keeping your parking lot clean and safe should be a number 1 priority.

Room is clean, bed is comfortable, breakfast decent, staff are friendly. Only down sides are wall are very thin so it’s hard to sleep if you are a slight sleeper. Pillows go completely flat even when double stacked, and coffee is on the lower grade.

This hotel is a gem in a suburb of Washington, D.C., called Sterling. It is located on a quiet street near an office park and the best local restaurant, Sweetwater Tavern. It is a few streets away from Route 7 which will quickly take you to Tysons, DC or Dulles Airport. The hotel is clean and modern and offers lots of amenities. There is a full breakfast buffet in the morning. There is a bar near the reception for evenings. The rooms are large with small kitchens and a nice large couch. I especially appreciated two bottles of water offered at check in. There is free parking. Highly recommend this gem.

Wish the curtains went to the floor because there was a lot of light coming from under the curtains from the parking n lot.

It’s in an office area so really no road noise after 6pm. And absolutely no freeway noise.

Had to fix toilet from running. No big deal. AC very noisy at times, but otherwise comfortable. Evening staff was Great . Young man at the desk was Awesome. Can't remember his name but Awesome dude !

Keynote when using a CC through expedia and using a different card at the counter. Some how they try to charge both after checking in. Neither party excepts responsibility so check your account after leaving.

Best room layout for a double room. Good breakfast. Great location, close to restaurants and a cinema. Two things missing though that would have made the experience perfect - all day coffee and a microwave in the room.

The room was very spacious One of the elevator was out of order so it was one and it was super slow we had to take the stairs and we were on the 5th floor. And their was no microwave in the room for us to make food. The selection for breakfast was slim so we had to go to buy food.

I am disabled and booked a room with a roll in shower. When I arrived they said they didn’t have any available handicap rooms because they were all booked out, even though I had this reservation for well over a week in advance. Then they claimed they could clean a handicap room and give it to me. So I waited hours. Once in the room, my partner decided to shower first. The roll in shower wasn’t pitched correctly and the entire bathroom filled with water. We went to the front desk to tell them and the man gave us some extra towels and told us there was nothing he could do for us. They didn’t even send down house keeping to help. My partner was in his hands and knees for an hour soaking up water. I couldn’t help because I’M PARALYZED (hence the need for the roll in shower. The front desk admitted this bathroom floods. Why would you give a disabled person a bathroom that floods? It was so dangerous. I was so lucky my partner showered first. So I was unable to even go into the bathroom for almost 5 hours while the water evaporated and I never got a shower. Front desk people didn’t care at all. It was awful and so degrading.

Love this hotel, every time I want to get out of the busy city I stay a few nights at this hotel and enjoy. It’s nice and clean. The staff are very nice the breakfast area is alway clean and welcoming.

Room was spacious with sofa allowing room for luggage. Big screen TV. Nice beds, hot showers, Good quality towels. Airport transfer and breakfast was included with a noon checkout. Will stay again if ever staying overnight at Dulles airport

Hyatt Place is definitely my « go-to. » Great location, friendly, accommodating staff and excellent service. Great breakfast but other food service is limited . Also, would have preferred a tub instead of a shower. Rooms were clean, cozy, and modernized. Room entertainment has been upgraded. Enjoyable.

They had failed to clean the parking lot after snow. I had to park in a dangerous spot and try to unload luggage without getting hurt

It was close to shopping and food, the staff was very friendly. The bathroom could definitely be improved, water pressure wasn’t good in the shower and the hose parts were leaky.

We didn't make it, to Dulles (sad face) person that booked us standby (because of emergency), booked Washington Reagan and not Dulles, UGH!. American does not fly into Dulles. So, not only being costly, we also lost funds to for this reservation.

Stayed for one night as I was in transit to the airport. Two things I will change personally. The TV ia placed midway between the bedroom and the living hall. So if you are lying in your bed and watching you have to watch in an angle - very weird. The AC made too much noise all throughout the night; this is not a regular constant noise but a fluttering noise and it was hard to sleep. Otherwise everything is quite standard for a budget hotel.

The hotel was clean and the room was great! The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was the noise from the air conditioner. The fan was quite noisy but once I was asleep it didn’t bother me. The breakfast looked good but I only had time to grab a coffee to go as I was taking the 6:00 am shuttle to the airport and that was when breakfast started.

I explained to them that me and my family were upset about their remarks. Staff replied they we should complain to Expedia.com. That was not very nice if they use their services they should respect the advertisement through the app.

No cleaning service throughout our 3 night stay, so had to ask for refresh of towels. Sheets on pull out couch had holes in them, and there was no additional blanket for that bed. Breakfast was simple, but good. Staff was pleasant

Only had 2 large towels in the room for 5 people. The AC could not be turned off, had to cover it up with towels for the night

Comfortable bed! Quiet night. One of the two elevators was out of order causing a little bit more of a wait. We were on the top floor so doing stairs with luggage was not an option.

From the start, I noticed that the shower curtain was filthy and requested a replacement from the front desk—twice. Both employees assured me it would be taken care of, yet during my entire stay, it was never changed. This lack of follow-through was frustrating and unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I found a hole in the bed blanket, which was another sign of poor upkeep. The biggest issue, however, was the bed itself—it was slanted, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep. It was bad enough that I checked out a day earlier than planned. While I appreciate the spacious room, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unresponsive service significantly impacted my stay. I expect better from Hyatt and hope they address these issues for future guests.

Overall, for the value a very good choice rooms are very spacious quiet, and has all the amenities that you would expect during my say the only downfall was the elevator was not working properly, which required a lot of stair use to go between floors. The only other complaint that I have is there’s one ice machine on the six floor And when you don’t have a proper elevator service being on the second floor was inconvenient, but for the most part, I would stay at this hotel again, despite the two issues that I had. I also would recommend this hotel to others for the value. The staff was very friendly as well.

I came to USA for my business. Everything is so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was so delicious and very rich. As a Turkish people cleaning and breakfast were very important for us. See you again when I come to USA😉🛫

Nice, large room. Breakfast was good but they ran out of fruit and bacon half an hour before breakfast ended. Neither were replenished. Restaurants and shopping within 25 minute walk.

She was very pleasant and she had a very warm spirit. She made me feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door.

It is very comfortable, feels like a small apartment, everything looks very very clean. It is also quiet so that is great! Won’t have to be up all night hearing people being loud. Only thing I didn’t like was that the air conditioning unit would start blowing out cold air for some reason.

Overall everything was very good, only staff maybe need bit more trainings.

The only negative comment I have is the breakfast. Despite it was 7 am when we dined, the breakfast offered a great variety. Only the eggs were rubbery, cold and served from a cast iron pot. The sausage was also cold, dried out and rubbery, as well as the French toast sticks. I wouldn’t offer the option if it’s not going to be served at least warm. Other than that, the stay and room were great.

Rooms are really big, clean and well maintained

There was a mishap while checking in, they charged me multiple times for the incidentals. The hotel also has one broken elevator under repair. The place is clean and the breakfast is nice.

I'm here once every six months to visit family and friends in the area. Love the renovations to the rooms and can't wait to come back and see what's been done with the elevators and other common areas. I also really love the new accessible parking spaces that have been created for disabled folks to conveniently get into and out of the property. Keep up the great work...

Very convenient

I specifically booked for a room with tub so i could give my baby a bath but they gave me a room with just standing shower. It says on expedia that they offer daily housekeeping, on second day, I realized the room wasnt cleaned and asked receptionist why, he said oh we clean every other day. Next night, it was still not clean, so we asked front desk and they said oh sorry, we will clean your room in the morning. Sure enough, they didnt do it. We had to ask for supplies, towel, shampoo etc.

Room was spacious

The hotel was more upscale than we expected. The room was great: wonderful sofa seating, comfortable bed and large shower stall. The breakfast room was top notch. The food was fresh and delicious.

Convenient location to IAD, clean and safe place. The only issue was breakfast seemed to runout if you were not there by 8:30… other wise a great choice.

Our group had 2 rooms for 4 nights. We found the rooms to be clean & spacious with a nice sitting area. During that time though, we never received any cleaning service - not even towels or additional coffee when requested. And we never had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. I'm not sure why they overlooked our rooms, but it was a nice enough hotel - especially for the price - so we would go back.

I like the room layout. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The bathroom was very small but the shower was nice. I did not like the lack of sundries NOT left in the room. I thought it may be an oversight and would be corrected when housekeeping came to check the room but they didn’t visit and I guess I’m out of luck!

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was excellent, including shuttle driver (Camron). Traffic was tough, but lots of restaurants nearby via car. Also, close to major roadways, and not too far from IAD. Park and Fly program came in very handy.

The hotel was clean, but the customer service was lacking. When I booked a room with two beds, I ended up with a single king bed for three people. The receptionist suggested we use the sofa bed, but there were no blankets provided, leaving me cold. When I raised the issue, she responded, "It's not my fault, so there's nothing I can do."

And house keeping entered , cleared and throws my stuff in garbage even before my checkout.

Some days because it was over crowded, breakfast items were running out especially fruits Hot water was not reaching to the shower always. I have to wait for few minutes running before I get warm water

Very clean hotel in a convenient location to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and IAD airport. Breakfast was very good. Staff was polite but not overly helpful. In my case, I had to speak with staff 3 times on 3 different days to resolve the same issue (regarding loyalty points — with 2 of the times being an employee saying he would get back to me that night but never did.

Like where the ice machine was . How to operate the thermostat. No vending machine on 4th floor. No creamer for coffee brewed in room.
