Super clean and spacious room with a large bathroom and large tv. Free and abundant parking. Convenient location. Better deal than other nearby hotels in same class.

Check in was easy and the card keys worked (not always the case in hotels). Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was tasty and freshly served.

Good layout, well presented, everything I needed for a short layover in my travels. Gym, good wifi, office desk in the room was very handy. The elevator buzzing at it passes every floor. Not a small soft ding. More like you got a question wrong in a game show, mixed with an alarm clock.

The property is close to Dulles Airport. The room was comfortable and clean. The free airport shuttle was available and efficient. Overall, a good value. I think in general the free breakfast is sub-par.

Excellent airport hotel, great facilities and breakfast also had a surprisingly good variety. Very useful airport shuttle to take to and from the airport, just a 5 or 6 minute ride. Staff were top notch too.

We have stayed here several times and found it most cases very excellent. What we complain about is their bathroom facilities. We're getting to the age where grab bars etc. are important and find their tub set up was not very good. We stayed in a handicap room but even still they only had one grab bar which is very difficult to use to get soap mounted at the rear wall of shower when the grab bar is on the side wal. They do need to take a hard look in this area.

When I phoned the hotel for the shuttle, I was given very clear instructions. The shuttle driver was very helpful, and courteous. Breakfast was good, with enough choices, and the dining room was spotless. Our room was very clean and comfortable.

The kids had what they wanted which is the waffles. There is limited fruits for breakfast. But also, aside from the eggs, the protein is not great. The sausage was like paper.

Staff were so kind and pleasant. Pool and hot tub were a nice addition. Room was clean but smelled faintly of cigarette smoke.

Nothing to complain about really. Were I being really picky I would say more fruit choices than apples at breakfast would make it better. They have an excellent waffle and toast bar and the potatos and eggs were nicely done and freshly cooked. We enjoyed the pool which was just right for our kids. They provide shuttle service to the airport so you can take the metro to DC. I didn't rent a car so it leaves you with over eats or something to get food from the area. Lots of choices there, I wouldn't say some of the restaurants are great but it's nothing to do with the hotel. They also have an all day coffee bar. I would stay here again and recommend it.

Our room was very very clean. The staff 4/6 was incredibly helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. The shuttle was efficient when we needed it. The common interior was very well kept. The exterior was nothing special but clean. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The choices however, didn't really change much. The location was perfect for our needs. We would have liked an on site bar/restaurant but there was one very close . Overall we would choose this property next time we visited the area.

If you’re looking for a basic, dependable place to stay, this hotel will work. However, if you’re expecting modern features or newly remodeled rooms, you probably won’t find that here.

I have to say this is the worst experience that I had with Hilton and I would never go back to that property. This was supposed to be a nice staycation for me and my friend who I took her for her birthday!!! but it ended up being absolute worst experience.

Thank Tizzy for taking care of us when we arrived. The room was great. Though we do not look visibly handicapped, we do have special needs, so we appreciated our room very much. The staff also did not ask us invasive questions and this made our stay great.

Room was pretty good. A/C did not cool enough for us. I understand its winter but a lot of people still prefer a room that gets below 70 degrees. Hotel was well kept, breakfast was good. The laundry machines could use some maintenance. Took about 3 hours to dry a load of laundry.

My complaint is the bedding…sheets and covering is TOO small for King Size Bed. Very difficult to share covers for two people. Also the thermostat was not the easiest to use.

Great place to stay a night heaving flown into Dulles from the UK. Shuttle was useful, and front desk helpful when we called as we arrived at the airport. Comfortable bed and we appreciated the lobby coffee stand, the breakfast and pool and gym. Good way to get over the flight and start the Holiday. No bar but there's one next door.

This is nice hotel for the price, a bit noisy latw at night, but still good.

Not only was I threatened physical and bodily harm by a front desk attendant, I was lied to about the hotel’s cleaning policy. The staff at the front desk were rude and insensitive; imagine driving for 7 hours only to be treated with contempt by its staff. You stay and pay a premium for safety and convenience only to be threatened by the front desk person. I will never stay at any hampton or hilton affiliated hotels and I will formally file a complaint to any and every establishment for the way I and my family were treated.

Room thermostat wouldn’t go below 76 degrees. Hot tub jet function was loud. TV had to be unplugged and plugged back in to work because it froze. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable.

We booked last minute due to a flight delay. Hotel staff was extremely courteous. The hotel was very clean and room comfortable. Free breakfast buffet opened at 6 giving us time to eat and take the complimentary shuttle back to the airport.

The Hampton Sterling was very conveniently located for our Dulles airport departure. About ten minutes by shuttle. They are also close to the Smithsonian Air & Space museum at Dulles. This is an excellent display with many unique and very significant items like an SST and an SR-71. I also enjoyed their pool. We had a very nice two night stay.

I got a free upgrade to a suite on my return trip. The airport shuttle happened to be right there at the the airport when I needed it so that was a nice surprise as well.

Everything was fine except for the Airport Shuttle service. It is difficult to catch from Dulles. They need to give everyone the number to call and where to meet. Someone from another country will not be able to negotiate it. Then the 6:00 am shuttle left before 6:00 this morning and wouldn’t return for me. They said someone should have told me to get there 10 minutes early???? I had to pay $30 for a cab

The property and rooms are very clean. Some road noise but that's not their fault. Front desk employees are super nice. Family checking out the breakfast now.

I feel sad for having to leave such an honest review because the staff were for the most part friendly, but consumers need to be aware of what is being purchased. There were many challenges with our stay and I do not believe this hotel room is worth the price paid at all! The room was much smaller than expected, with a very small bathroom. There are many amenities, but they don't all work. The coffee pot in the room would not work, it just sputtered steam and would not run. Also, the TV in the room came on and we could adjust the volume fine, but the chanel could not be changed at all; it was just stuck on the weather chanel! There were other minor inconveniences. For example, the hotel boasts they have a "tea bar," but there were only 3 different kinds of tea- no decalf options. Sometimes there was no tea out at all, and no vanilla creamer. The biggest issue for us thoug was the noise!!! It was soooooooo loud. The hotel staff is obviously aware because they have printed signs posted about "quiet hours." I don't know if there has been some kind of structural damage from termites etc., but it is not normal to hear every little sound like someone coughing or using the restroom, let alone clear conversations of other people talking-hearing word for word what they are saying. So hearing the little noises equates to all the big noises being even louder. Dogs barking incessantly, babies crying and rowdy sports teams made working, relaxing, and sleeping extremely difficult.

I was traveling with my wife and an infant. We had luggages for an international flight. It was terribly cold outside (20 degree farh). We waited for the hotel’s shuttle for 45 min which never showed up, then I called the hotel’s customer service desk. I was told that a shuttle would be there in about 15-20 min. No shuttle after 40 min. I called the hotel again. I was told to wait for about 10 min. No shuttle after about 40 min. On my last call, I asked the service desk to tell me if they didn’t have a shuttle so we can take a taxi. She told me that someone would be there in 15 min. After all this wait, a shuttle finally showed up and we were able to check-in. The hotel is clean, but the customer service at this place is frustrating and needs to be addressed. If I have to travel again, I’ll never go back to this particular facility. That’s my honest review.

The hotel is safe a very clean. However, in two days I stayed, NOBODY CAME TO CLEAN OR CHANGE MY TOWELS WHICH WERE DIRTY DUE TO AN ACCIDENT MY CHILD HAD.

We were only at the hotel for a few hours overnight for an early flight. I loved the 24-hour shuttle and the fact that we could leave our car for a nominal fee while we were traveling.

This was simply an exceptional hotel and comparable to a 4 star. Elegant and sophisticated and well maintained.

Staff took the time to make sure I got registered well and get me signed up for my morning shuttle. We had got disconnected on my call in and he was kind enough to call me back.
