Wonderful hotel if you have a long layover. Bed was super comfortable and the room was great.

The parking is excellent, and the room is large. The bathroom cleaning was poor; you could see dirt around the rim of the toilet bowl where the water flushes out. I believe this is why there was a sewage smell inside the bathroom, which was not pleasant. Also, one of the bed sheets was old and pilled; I had to replace it with one of my own so I could sleep.

I like the hotel. It serves my needs. However, I will say the ceiling above the shower had major water damage and appeared to have had mildew and there were a few ants crawling around the room.

Location was good Free and ample parking The handicap room door was impossible to open as it weighed so much! No one in a wheelchair could open it. There was no countertop in the bathroom to place anything and the Kleenex dispenser was 4 feet off the floor. You need to remodel that room!!

My wife had no heat or air conditioning in her room, and the staff did nothing to fix it. It was a very cold night, and she was freezing all night long. We were very disappointed in the hotel's response.

I was disappointed that there wasn’t anywhere to eat dinner and there were lots of snack foods, but there was nothing in the refrigerator in our room and there was no microwave to prepare any of the food available in the lobby. There is no white wine available so I had to settle for a beer. Breakfast was awesome and the person who made the breakfast was friendly and helpful so that was a plus The property was obviously aging. Shower curtain was torn a hole in the door that had been poorly mended, etc.. The Van, who picked us up at the airport and then delivered us back the next day was terrific So a mixed review

Nice and clean property in a quiet neighborhood. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large flat TV. Nothing around the place except for a couple of restaurants, otherwise you need a transportation. The shuttle service from/to the airport was a bonus. It's recommended for a layover or a short stay.

Staff are very nice. We are allowed to check in even early morning. Breakfast is good enough. Wi-Fi connection is pretty fast. Shuttle service is convenient. Overall, we are very satisfied with this Fairfield Inn.

Parking is good and the shuttle to the airport was very easy and convenient! Only wished breakfast had grab and go options at 5 am.

Hotel was ok. They need to provide distilled water for people who have CPAP machines! All hotels should provide that as you cannot travel on aircraft with it.

The hotel was convenient to Dulles airport. It was fairly priced in the marketplace. The people were nice. Manager was helpful. However- the mattress was wet and it required the use of a rollaway cot. Not the best experience at all.

The Breakfast was better than most Marriott’s . The extra ingredients they had for oatmeal, waffles etc were great and the selection of Oat and Almond Milk was fine. All the Staff including the front desk could not be more accommodating. I will definitely be staying at this property every time I visit this area for business .

The first room i was assigned was still in process of being maintenanced. The second room didn't have hot water. I tried another room and that didnt have hot water either. They made sure to check another room before i moved to it, it had hot water but the toilet constantly ran. It was horrible.

Our room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The shuttle was easy to find and comes frequently without having to schedule it. There isn’t much around it, but we were just staying for the night before our morning flight.

I was too in a rush to enjoy the breakfast. Wish I could have had more time prior to catching flight.

Location. The wifi wasn’t working for more than 3 hours. Front desk staff are always in the back and you’d wait for them. I had to switch room because my tv wasn’t working. Found someone’s tshirt behind the curtains that if housekeeping cleaned well, they’d have seen and removed. The room was freezing cold by the time I adjusted the temp, woke up with sore throat. The shuttle doesn’t arrive on the time they say (every half an hour) I waited in the rain from 1:50pm until it arrived at 2:17

The breakfast bar was slow to being replenished but the selection and variety of choice was good.

My room #218 was great. My friend’s room #335 was musty. The hair dryer was on its last leg: crazy loud and stopped , then smelled like burning. Called the desk and had a new one for us to go pick up.

The noise didn’t stop until after 10:30 pm. We were awakened by the toddler at 5 am. The hotel wasn’t very busy. We should have never been assigned a connecting room.

Upon check in showed a gift certificate, gentleman said it went through fine. I received notification on visa about charge. It did not show any amount for gift certificate. I went down to lobby and a nice lady corrected it. Had i not been notified through my visa, i would not have known. Young man should have paid more attention to what i told him.

No one to be found at the front desk, the one staff kept going into the staff room. He came out of there after 5 mins of waiting. First room, small curly hairs that look like pubes in the sheets, second room, stained sheets with yellow and blood, third room diff floor was the same stained sheets and smelly room. I called down but the guy never answered and i had to drag my stuff up and down 3 times. Thankfully expedia helped cancel super quick after confirming but DO not stay here if you care about hygiene.

The hallway to my room smelled of marijuana. My room smelled like it had been sprayed to mask the scent of the marijuana. The bathroom in our room smelled of marijuana. We left for a few hours then came back and the weed smell was gone, however the room still had that strong scent that was used to mask everything else. The room was clean. The breakfast was hot but not that good. Would not recommend.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and we felt very relaxed. The only thing I would recommend would be alternate curtains that could be closed to keep the well lit parking lot from coming in during the night early morning hours. Overall, great experience, and we would stay here again if we traveled to this area.

There was no assistance with luggage during check-in and check-out. I had 7 bags and had to carry them one by one from the room to the car because there was only one luggage trolley, and it was occupied. The hotel should provide more trolleys or staff to assist guests with their luggage.

Lovely and clean. Great shuttle service.. wish there was a vegetarian/ vegan restaurant nearby as only option was really meat eater friendly. There was a water/ ice machine on the floor i stayed but only ice working . Maybe someone could have put water in room for coffee! All in all my room was very clean , bathroom clean and was nice to have a regular modern shower in the room instead of bath/ shower combo. Would definatly recommend and stay again

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this particular hotel. My room was more than comfortable. It was also clean, and I love that I could park next to my room. There are also grocery stores, retail stores, and restaurant in close vacinity. If you are looking for a hotel very near Dulles Airport, this is a good one.

Bathroom could use a better/larger shelf no place to put anything and existing shelf is too small and close to toilet so things fall easily. Breakfast was fair. Nothing great. No frills. No lotion in room. No tea in room. Those things would be nice additions

Check in was extremely efficient - very appreciated after a long, long day. The room was OK, though the property could use a refresh. The convenience of being ten minutes from the IAD rental car returns, and having a gas station a block away from the hotel, significantly streamlined catching an early flight. I’ll be staying there again!

The room was very nice. The man who checked us in didn’t give us all the information we expected, like where to park, where the elevators were, or that we would have an additional hold on our credit cards. Also the ice machines were broken.

Hotel was okay. Front desk staff was horrible. Asked to be put on the list for the shuttle to the airport first thing in the morning. Woke up and went down stairs only to find we were not on the list. Had to wait for an Uber and wasn’t able to leave the hotel until 30min after we needed to.

Nice hotel, comfortable and clean and close to the Dulles airport (with free airport shuttle). Good breakfast included.

The price is too high On what I see It’s too bad

Perfect for what I needed. Didn’t take advantage of any of the amenities, as we really just needed a bed for the night. Weird that there was nobody at the front desk when we left at 6am.

Nearest to airport

It's location is wonderful. I will be staying there again if the occasion arises. They were undergoing some upgrades to the tiling but upgrades are a necessary thing so not a problem. Overall, great place. Recommend it. Especially at the price.

Shuttle not reliable. Room not maintained well

Perfectly fine place to overnight for a flight from Dulles. Provides a shuttle and a reasonable breakfast.

Great option for flying out of Dulles! We left our car there and used their shuttle service for 15 days while in Italy and had zero issues upon return. Great breakfast options. Clean facilities and room.

I booked this hotel for my friend on Nov. 22. Because of she didn't speak English, I asked her call me if she needed any help. Around 7:00 pm, she called me and panicked said someone accessed room. I immediately rushed back to hotel and inquired front desk about the situation, and pointed out that no other guest should be allowed to access an occupied room for any reason. I called hotels.com customer service, a staff was very sympathetic my situation, she contacted the hotel and asked for some compensation but was rejected by the hotel manager. As a guest this is unacceptable.

Last minute trip for the birth of my grandson. Very nice and comfortable, quiet so I could rest and sleep when not at the hospital

Cleanliness

Just stayed one night it was in short walking distance to Cracker Barrel restaurant which was very convenient. Staff was very friendly.

The staff Jose took care of our checking in. We had to wait for 30 minutes because he was on the phone. And even during the check in, he did not focus on us and talked to other guests. The main elevator was out of order and he did not give us proper guide for another elevator. All staffs spoke to me in spanish as if I should understand what they are saying. Their attitude was so rude.

Just what we needed

Not a great night's stay. TV was broken air conditioner wouldnt turn off. After a hellish day of travel just wanted to unwind with some TV. Hotel was full, we couldn't be moved. But oh boy, they refunded use $9.82 for our troubles. Not staying here again.
