Convenient location and reasonable rates for 4 nights in the Sterling area. The room was a decent size and has many kitchen amenities (full size fridge, stove top, microwave). There is only a very small lobby area with a nearby snack store that has free coffee for residents. Many of the people staying were long term guest. One morning, there was a lot of trash at the end of the hall that wasn't picked up until the end of the day. Stinky!

Parking was hard to find. Very full lot.

I checked in at 3:15 and immediately upon entering my room, I noticed that it was warm. I set the thermostat to 67 and saw no change. Contacted the front desk and a technician was dispatched. He literally replace the unit 2 times. After initially working, the unit quit working properly. Needless to say, it was a very hot night. As I was leaving in the early morning, I spoke to the front desk clerk and he said he would let the manager know. Very disappointed!

Parking gets full near the front entrance, but there's always a spot available. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Toilet didn't flush right in my room, place was a bit worn. Had a slight issue with getting a partial refund when having to leave a day early - front desk didn't understand the policy, but management did.

The room was very spacious and the kitchen was nice. The bed was very comfy! The water pressure was great in the shower. Full size bath products were installed which was awesome. The desk staff were friendly. I did find dust in the bedroom and bathroom exhaust fan. The outdoor porch area was small and jammed up. There was a very loud vehicle that had it’s bass blaring by our room that shook our room, gave me a headache, and made the dog bark.

Great location. There's a gas station and a Walmart nearby. The staff is friendly. Adiba was very kind and welcoming. We were able to stay here with our pets.

The room size and how clean it was. Laundry facilities was nice but wish they didn't charge the washer pods as expensive ($1 a pod??) That they don't clean the room until you request. Bur they were generous with towels and other things. Very small gym.

We had excellent and attentive service. When there was a problem outside of their control, the staff stepped up and found a solution. I am very impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Very comfy beds and good sized room The first check in attempt was met with a cold room where the heater was broken and falling off the wall the front desk reassigned the room which was warm but then the stove didn't have knobs to use rendering the kitchen useless. Due to our short stay and children we opted to keep the room because it was early morning and we were very tired. Definitely wasn't quite as posh as reviews made it sound but it was decent overall.

floor needs some swabbing, furniture needs some work one drawer would not close properly. Shower room floor need some cleaning, and shower head is either partially clogged up since theres not much water coming out of it and water temperature is hard to control.

Loved the free washer and dryer for all guest. Kitchen in the room was great and the ability to sign out extra items for it was wonderful. The location was very convenient to our family that we were visiting.

It stunk in the hallways and lots of foreign contractors. They were dirty and most of them did not speak English. The laundry facilities are a joke. The contractors use them and walk off. Don’t care if you have to wait. The rooms were set for several people to stay. Very uncomfortable mattress. No broom or anything to keep your kitchen tidy. It was one of the worst experiences of a Candlewood Suites I have ever stayed in. The area around it is nice. That’s why I was confused it was in the shape it was in. My recommendation is don’t stay here if you like clean and comfortable. Those ratings is a joke.

Attended Washington Commanders Training Camp and this hotel was close by and inexpensive. The hotel had a kitchen, complete with cooktop, microwave, full fridge, dishwasher, comfortable queen bed and large bathroom. This hotel doesn't have a pool but does have fitness room and small store to purchase items to be cooked or snacks.

Front desk person was an absolute nightmare. I had a picture of my Id and my physical credit card he gave us a hard time like we were criminals. It was me my 7 year old and my wife what a shame.

I showed up. hotel was locked and I had no way of reaching anyone. The phone in the lobby went to voicemail. No one called me back in the 45 minutes I waited. I ended up having to book another hotel. Complete failure. The company refuses to do anything to make this right and I am in the process of taking them to small claims court.

This hotel needs some maintenance and updates. The faucet in the tub would not shut off, so it ran the entire time we were there. The main air conditioning system didn’t work for the entire suite. There was a separate moveable unit in the bedroom which was super loud and never cooled the room down so it constantly ran. The sleeper sofa mattress literally was torn apart at the one end and severely stained. Mold in the bathroom. Cobwebs on the light fixtures. Stains on the curtains. The room was a great size. Very helpful for our early check-in. We had arrived even earlier than expected, and though the room wasn’t immediately ready, they made it priority to clean it next and contacted us by phone to let us know it was ready within 15 minutes. Friendly staff that recognized us later in the hall and asked how the events were going that brought us into town.

Stay was wonderful just for the evening. Bathroom should’ve been double checked there was hair from previous occupancy or housekeeper. And stained linen should be thrown out instead of washed and reused especially with COVID-19

We loved loved our stay! It was so nice, clean, comfortable that we actually thought about staying an extra evening! The gentleman at the from Ibraham gave us excellent customer service!

The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. However, they ended up charging my husband's credit card (we paid with this upon arrival but is not linked to my hotels.com account) for a 3 night stay for which we did not book or ask for. There were two separate charges which were not small amounts. We ended up getting it resolved and refunded a few days later but I was really shocked that this type of mistake was made. They also tried to pin in on hotels.com, however it was entirely on their staff. I'm not sure we will return in concern that this will happen again.

Good stay for 2 nights. Good size clean rooms with friendly front desk. Would definitely stay here. There were some nearby construction noise but that was the only and minor issue.

Having a kitchen was a great bonus. I would suggest moving the smoking area (Bench) away from the back entrance door to maybe the other side of the parking lot for those who don't smoke not to incur the smoke when they exit or enter.

The room had a small kitchen. Unfortunately, there was no water available through the sink. The Bathroom fan was very loud; loose grout and a wobbly 12" x 12" tile in the middle of the floor; the toilet tank's floating mechanism would get stuck after flushing and would need to be lightly wiggle in order for the tank to fill with water. The person at the desk was informed (at checkout)and very upset about the situation and asked that we should had informed him sooner, apologized and allowed us to have free bottles of ice cold water from the hotel store. The room, gym and the laundry facilities were great and very clean.

Got the room because of bad weather. No complaints.

The service was outstanding. My room was nice and clean. The hall did smell funny due to someone was cooking something that smell up the hall. But I slept great, the smell did not come into my room.

When in an area with awful traffic conditions, I often do not want to go out. This hotel offers me exactly what I want, clean, comfortable and roomy accommodations. With all the comforts of home the room allowed me to shop for groceries and stay in after the work day rather than fight traffic to eat in the evening.

Clean, modern and convenient location. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and spacious room. However it is a poorly sound insulated hotel. Tons of noise from the streets outside the hotel.. howling wind kept me up thanks to poorly insulated windows / framing. If you stay here my advice: BRING GOOD EAR PLUGS (i forgot mine)
