Old rooms, sink and bathroom faucets did not work properly, it was a no-smoking room but we could smell smoke in the room.

The bed was second to worst I have slepted in my travels.

Clean, in a good part of town. Furniture wasn't luxury level, but it was good and not old. Breakfast is the typical hotel breakfast, but with whipped cream and good jams for the waffles or french toast.

Staff was friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Parking was good. The only thing I did not like the sheets were rough and hard.

It was near the airport and it had shuttle. The mattress needs to be changed the covers from Walmart and the pillows was warn up. Covers was thin I know it’s a cheap hotel but you could do little at a time.

Definitely budget friendly. No elevators so you have to walk upstairs to 2nd floor. Also, you drag your bags on sidewalk right outside of people's doors and that is really loud. We arrived super later at 11pm and I probably woke-up everyone on the first floor as I rolled my bag. It was a place to sleep but for an extra $20 I'd rather stay at a nicer place.

People were nice and it is in a convenient location however, the room smelled like cigarette smoke, the door to the room only unlocked if you held the handle up before inserting the card and a terrible smell came up through the shower.

We stayed three nights and noticed a bad smell the first day. A big portion of the carpet was wet due to water seeping out from the floor. We requested the front desk to change the room but they denied and kind of forced us to stay in a wet and smelly room - bad business ethics.

Excellent value for money you pay. Recommend.

The location is good as it is near the airport BUT disappointed that there is no elevator to upper floor which is not mentioned on online bookings

Parking and friendly shuttle driver

This is a MOTEL. Outside doors. As I departed, I saw a gentleman in his car smoking crack. I mentioned it to the front desk. Rooms were kinda noisy since they were outside doors. You could clearly hear highway and airport traffic. That said, the room was pretty clean and comfortable.

Front desk staff (Lin?) was very friendly, pleasant and quite helpful. The morning shuttle operator was also vey friendly and got us to the airport in plenty of time.

First time in the area and did not know what to expect, thankfully Best Western has maintained their quality. The room was clean although it could use some improvements like lighter color walls and some wall decorations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, sheets were clean. The room could use an air freshener of some sort. Our biggest problem was the noise, all night it sounded like some one drilling or banging on the wall by the bathroom. It was so disturbing. We told the staff but they said no one was working, which although was true. I wished they went there and investigated the noise. So we endured through the night.... but will definitely ask for another room. Maybe they need to check on the noise situation.

For the cost of the room, it did not even deserve any star. The wall switch for the power outlet was popped out, unsafely wires exposed. None of the side lamps were working. There was no elevator. This was the worst hotel ever for me, would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I didn’t love the setup of this place. Lots of stairs and walking outside to get to the rooms upstairs. Front desk staff was decent but not overly helpful. My first room smelled strongly of weed. I was able to change rooms, but it all involved a lot of back and forth to the front desk to switch keys. The shuttle to the airport is helpful, but I waited 45 minutes for one when I landed. It’s a decent place for an overnight to and from the airport. The breakfast was nice.

Loved that we got a bag breakfast because we took shuttle before buffet opened....a delightful, unexpected surprise!!

Room was clean and had exactly what was needed for an overnight layover. I called the hotel in advance regarding the shuttle bus, and they told me I could take the Holiday Inn one as it was late in the night. When I told the man driving the van that I was staying in the Best Western, he REFUSED to take me and was very rude and did not give me an explanation as to why he was not taking me. It was quite shocking and I had to end up taking an Uber to the hotel. It was disappointing as the free shuttle was the reason why I booked with this hotel in the first place. This was the Holiday Inn driver working on Sunday, April 3rd around 10pm.

Check in was fast and easy receptionist was very caring and friendly. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket due to the cool weather, but we did not call to request one. Grab and go breakfast was provided for us at 4:00 in the morning. Shuttle service was exceptional to and from the airport. About a 10 minute drive to the airport from the hotel.

It’s a very complicated situation. I booked a room for one of my drivers online because he didn’t have the credit card. They wouldn’t let him check in which we have done this in the past. It definitely seemed like it was a scam. They wouldn’t let me double check it they wouldn’t let me cancel it the reservation just an overall horrible experience. My driver had to sleep in the truck after a confirmation was made online.

The front desk woman was VERY nice. She had some difficulty getting my prepaid reservation to take effect (about 20 minutes) but she made whatever connections she needed to get things to work and was very apologetic for the delay. Buttons for volume and channel change on TV remote did not work. I notified front desk at checkout.

This was the second time we have stayed here and we love it! We love the location close to the airport, but in reach of anything you could need. The breakfast is great. The staff is always (!) so friendly and ready to help at any moment. We can't sing their praises enough.

I have stayed at the Best Western Dulles as I often connect on flights out of Dulles. The rooms are comfy, and the staff is friendly. I like the breakfast buffet, and the airport shuttle is great.

This hotel is perfect for flights that arrive late and required to drive to another destination. It provides free breakfast, free parking, and it is very close to the airport.

Good location. Quite area. Only one restaurant immediately near but there is other option a bit further out. Outward facing ( no internal halls) so you hear people, cars, laundry carts going by. The laundry carts or suitcase rolling by are loud. I would recommend they find a way to soften this ( mats, runners). Breakfast options good.

Only stayed one night during a long layover, but felt perfectly comfortable and enjoyed our time there. Front-desk staff were excellent and gave us breakfast when we had to leave for our flight before breakfast officially started.

Decent room. Honestly, don't think it's worth what I paid but it was decent. Maybe about $30 less compared to other places I've stayed. There was a little hair in the tub when I first walked in the bathroom. Otherwise stay was fine. I had to book at the very last minute due to flight cancellation.

Too many smokers on the property

The young lady at the front desk checked me in very efficiently, and politely. She recommended an Irish pub within walking distance and gave us a discount coupon. The property is older but well maintained. The difference in room rates started at a hundred dollars less and went up from there.

The breakfast was decent. My last two days there my television stop working.

The room was clean and comfortable in spite of a strong, cold wind creeping through the doorjam crack. The only problem was the smoke being blown in with the cold wind. The staff was great - friendly and helpful.

Guest laundry was out of order and front office staff should know that. Would not stay here for long stay. Not many options for food, supplies around. The delivery option ends at 10:00 and many people arrive on late flights, by the time you get here there is no food options

Unfortunately, it wasn’t running the morning we needed it. Kind of ironic they made it pretty clear that we needed to be in front of the hotel five minutes before our departure time. Yet, it was almost 10 min after our departure time before went to the front desk and was told they were trying to get a shuttle from a partner hotel as the shuttle wasn’t working this particular morning. Besides the fact that this one major service wasn’t available. They also didn’t say anything to anyone until we asked. There were about 6 parties waiting around the front. It would have been nice if they communicated this issue. We ended up getting an Uber and was picked up about 20 min after the original shuttle departure time. And everyone else was still waiting… The hotel was basically a motel (outside units). The only reason I booked this place was it was close to the airport and had a shuttle. As it turned out, it worked because you can get an Uber fairly quick at 5:30 am.

The price to value ratio is low, one would expect more than a motel feel like rooms and amenities

Breakfast was good and substantial. Now the rooms are old and super dated. Being winter the cold draft could be felt through the gap in the room door. The biggest issue I had was the lack of housekeeping. No one told me that you had to request housekeeping even to throw out the trash, replenish toiletries and coffee and water glasses or change towels.

The airport shuttle ran later and earlier than stated, so we got an uber at 10pm when we could have taken the shuttle.

Friendly staff, comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. And I am a fan of the exterior access!

Hours-she made arrangements for another Neighboring hotel To take me back to the property. This was comforting.

Because I booked through Expedia there were none of the amenities offered with a direct book. No free bottle of water or snack. Breakfast offered no unsweet oatmeal, no nuts or raisins, no choice of yogurts without artificial sweetener

For the 4 nights that we stayed there, the room was never cleaned. Per the staff, you have to request room cleaning before 12Noon to request service despite putting the sign Make Up Room outside our door. We had to go to Front desk to request fresh towels.

Very comfortable bed, clean room and linens. You drive up to your room which is great. Breakfast was the highlight! Boiled eggs, always had three types of warm items which always included scrambled eggs then could be French toast, bacon, turkey patty or chicken sausage. Two yogurt variety (low cal Danone & slightly higher cal Yoplait). Waffle station, 3 types of cereal (including Nature Valley granola), oatmeal packs, bananas, oranges and apples and of course coffee (reg and decaf) and hot water for tea or cocoa. Staff was super friendly and helpful. 7 or 8 minutes from Dulles airport. Would definitely stay here again!

Property was rather dilapidated, small rooms, leaking coffee pot. Looked and felt more like a motel, where people stand outside their rooms to smoke and talk very loudly until late at night and again very early in the morning.

Family of 4 with two young kids. We found the shuttle bus was always punctual and quick. Breakfast was just right. Rooms were comfy. And when my husband wasn’t feeling well, they allowed late checkout and shuttle bus times that we booked previously was also moved to accommodate it. Very comfortable stay overall.

Do not stay here. Spend a few extra dollars and move to a safer location. Our door did not fully lock or close and very sketchy property. There was a drunk man outside our room throwing glass and drinks around and we heard gun shots. Not a good place to stay if overnighting for a flight.

First of all the breakfast is great. It will worth the money you spend on the stay. Internet you need to bring your own. The Internet service is the poorest it can be possible. Rooms are small and clean. Staffs were nice. For a cheap hotel It is good. But no Internet.

The room has musty smell in it. I am sure at one point someone smoked in it and you can smell that too. There are so many cockroaches in the room. I have killed a couple but still there are a lot. It has two floors but there is no elevator. We have 8 big international travel bags but we do not know that there is no elevator at the time of booking. We had to keep them in the dining area for sometime and then moved to them to our cars. Such a pain. In the outside people are smoking weed. That smell is horrible. I think you will understand what kind of people are staying here. This place is next to freeway. If you get room on the backside you will hear a lot of traffic noise too.

The manager and the staff were very mine ,unpolited and unhelpful

Perfect for a quick nights sleep as flights were cancelled. Shuttle service was perfect, every 30 minutes to the airport.

The AC in my room would not stay on. It was in the middle of the recent heat wave so it was not comfortable at all when the ac wouldn’t stay on. Talked to front desk once and he told me to just give it time. Tried calling a couple other times but no answer.

Great location to IAD (Dulles Airport). Even though an older hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Great parking. Guests should be told that facility has no elevator or staff to help with luggage if your room is on 2nd floor. We had to carry our large luggage pieces up the outdoor stairway. We could also hear a dog in the next door room.

Not good hotel to stay with family

When we got to our hotel the key would not open our room door, they had to take the entire key fob device off of the door and replace it. Also, my brothers room door would stick. Our Room 144, smelled like mildew, causing my daughter to have an asthma attack. there wasn't any ventilation in the bathroom and the room would steam up from the bathroom. I will not be staying at this establishment again. however, I did enjoy their breakfast hours.

The rooms were so small you had to go outside to change your mind. The person worked in the front desk was completely incompetent.

This was a perfect overnight stay before an early morning flight. We took advantage of an early morning breakfast and shuttle to the airport. The service was excellent.

The room itself was nice, clean and we decorated. The main guest clerk Radu was nice and informative. Breakfast was excellent. The outside of hotel could use a little remodeling but overall service and stay was great.

We arrived late and tired from a long international flight. The gentleman at the front desk noticed that and offered to put us on the first floor, so we wouldn’t have to carry our luggage upstairs. That was very very nice.

The hotel is fine and I've stayed there several times. There are a few things to know before booking. The rooms open to the outside and if you're on the second floor, you will need to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. The good news is that the walkways are covered so you can stay dry in the event of a light rain. The staff are helpful as I arrived early and after a bit of time waiting in the lobby, they got me into a room before check in. Good location for those flying in/out of Dulles since you can get there without using the toll way.

Good clean room in a facility a couple of miles from Dulles.

Good location. Room is comfortable and the breakfast is good. Its a full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausages.

We had a quick one night stay on our way back home. The hotel is decent. There is no elevator though...be prepared to drag the luggage up the stairs. The complimentary breakfast is good, the bed is comfy and the room reasonably clean.

Seal of door was worn out and made a terrible whistling noise.

I did speak to management and they apologized for the inconveniences we experienced.
