Clean rooms, great breakfast

The room was affordable and clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked, the breakfast was much more than I expected, and the hotel was safe. I had no issues during my stay

Location was good with a paved walking path along the river, outdoor table was good for picnic lunches. The exterior could use an update to match the interior updates they have done. it doesn,t look too appealing from the outside. there was also a very distinct sewagy smell from the pool area vent blowing near the front door as you enter.

It’s an older hotel, but it is clean. I have some issues with my room with the AC, not working and the handheld showerhead breaking in the middle of my shower, but the staff was friendly and put me in another room and the other room was much better.

Room was noisy kept hearing someonenext door coughingall night couldn't sleep, walking through the hallway through cigarette smell that I'm allergic to. Last time I stayed there it was much nicer on the second floor. Bottom floor was not as nice

This was a super last minute booking for us, we got caught in a snow storm and didn't feel like driving back home. But from the moment we walked into this quality inn, the front desk staff was so nice, and they had an amazing breakfast set up.

This place is clean, convenient and close to the Steamboat Ski Resort, but they don’t have elevator in the building so it is a little bit difficult for people carrying big suitcases to the second floor. The continental breakfast is included which is nice for skiers, so we can get on to the lift quicker. I would recommend this place to my friends who will go to Steamboat to ski in the future.

Bus stop very convenient

Very comfortable but I asked for more towels and we had zero service during the day. No bed making no new towels.

An improvement would be to do snow removal. None was done while I stayed there during a storm. Snow piled up, and you had to walk and drive through the snow. Also, the refrigerator in my room did not work, and the smell that came out when you opened it was terrible.

Nice location. the bus was really easy to jump on right in front and takes you right to the gondola. the room was nice and large and nice property.

For the price, this place met expectations. The water pressure in the shower though?? HOLY GREAT! After a long day of travel, I was pleasantly surprised!

The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional when we tried to get clarification. Instead of taking responsibility, they acted like the situation was our fault. To make matters worse, we paid for a late checkout and staff still entered our room at 10am. It felt intrusive and disrespectful, especially after already having such a chaotic stay. Overall, this was anything but relaxing. We left feeling stressed and incredibly disappointed. I would not stay here again.

Clean, comfortable beds, great shower, pretty good breakfast. It was too loud for me, thin walls and a lot of door slamming throughout the night. There were some strange things going on in the parking lot and someone kept blocking the back door open and it made me a little concerned about safety.

Upgrades. $400 for a maybe a $200 room. It may be Steamboat but seriously. I wouldn’t go near the pool or hot tub.

Friendly staff

The price was decent, especially during the heart of ski season. We enjoy the breakfast. This trip they had chorizo and eggs with green chili. That was a great addition

The first night the hot tub was ice cold but was fixed by the second night. There was a gap in the door along the hinges that you could look through out into the hallway and literally see the door across from our room. Had to hang a towel up to block anyone from being able to look into our room from the hallway. The breakfast buffet was ok, food was a little bland but acceptable.

The room upon first glance was fairly clean. However, once we took a shower, the water was backing up a lot and not draining properly. Lots of debris was left in the tub, which was not great and kinda gross. There were a lot of construction workers staying in the hotel which I think may have led to some of that getting backed up. The staff was nice and the breakfast is great.

We stayed off season. It was a nice facility. Just wish the beds were firmer. If you like a cushy soft bed it will be a dream for you!

The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast had many great options.

Outside of the checkin person(her name started with a Z), who is very personable the others at the desk were not helpful in identifying local sites. The GM even said that is why they have a wall of sites… but they really don’t identify , biking or walking trails. Use Google.

Good location for Steamboat ski area and a few miles from downtown. No elevator which was annoying getting things to/from the room. Decent continental breakfast. Room size was nice. Property could use a facelift but it’s very functional.

Nice surrounding. At night, there were several men were shouting at the parking lot. This latest for any an hour every night. People were all very nice. The breakfast room employee was excellent. Will they there again.

It is a nice place to stay, just outside town. We were happy with our stay there.

Spiders in the bathroom. Front desk staff seemed to not care if you were there or not. Breakfast on Sunday was bad. Good breakfast on Monday morning.

Manager and owner don’t seem to care about people’s complaints.

No elevator to get to the second floor, was able to carry items to second floor just not expected. The hotel smelled musty. During our stay we returned to silenced firealarms and another patron told us there was a leak in the building. Upon entering the building the front desk clerk was on the phone. We were in need of another key for our room and she gave us one without ever meeting us or confirming our name and ID - very scary. We proceeded to the second floor to find water POURING from the ceiling with a trashcan underneith it. It appeared the snow was melting off the roof and was coming through the ceiling, light fixture and fire alarm. None of this was conveyed to us at any time- we assumed this. There were several large trashcans placed in the hallway with towels. Later there was vacuuming until 9:30pm at night and the fire alarms went off another time. None of this was ever conveyed to the patrons. We only decided to stay the night because there were no other options in town and were several hours away from home. I would not recommend this place and would not stay here again. The room was old, smelled musty and was not nice for the amount of money we paid.

Excellent continental breakfast. Pool and hot tub well maintained and clean. Rooms had everything we needed and were very clean. Hotel in the river walk which was a plus.

Decent hotel rooms, nice hot tub, helpful staff. The bus system has a bit of a learning curve, if you don't have a car, but it's free!

Room was clean, beds comfortable. Shower had good pressure and hot water. Hot tub had good temperature and jets pressure. Breakfast was good, ran low on a few items. Very short drive to ski area and a few minutes to downtown.

It’s about the staff. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable, they were all great! The rooms the room.

Beds are so comfortable. Shower had good flow. Staff was really nice. TV wouldn’t work and the pancake machine was broken (my kids look forward to that ) so those two things made us a little sad.

This hotel is undergoing a remodel and has horrible paint fumes. They are not informing guests that they are doing a remodel, or letting them cancel once they arrive and get a full refund. Also the contents of the rooms that are being remodeled are being stored in the hallway. I would not recommend staying here!

Older dated property

Room was clean and comfortable. Access to hotel was very easy off main highway coming into Steamboat Springs.

It was fun to see Trudy as I haven’t seen her in a long time.

Overall, great experience. Only suggestion would be to install soft close hinges to the room doors. All I heard was door slamming all weekend which was a little annoying when trying to sleep.

Check in was quick and easy, parking lot is a bit packed, saw a bear in the trash can in the back of the parking lot, thankfully he just went the other way. hot tub effective but a touch small for the hotel. rooms could use some updating but beds are very comfortable.

Best hotel in Steamboat

Comfy beds but the cleaning agent or refreshing spray they used made the room constantly smell moldy.

It was awful. Did not feel safe at all especially when there is duct tape over the lock on the door to come in the building. Anybody and everybody was coming in being loud kicking the conjoining door. Bed sheets were dirty and smelled disgusting. We left by 10:45 couldn’t even stay.

Nice hotel, overpriced but I guess it is steamboat. Really nice jacuzzi tub in the room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was pretty good and free. Saw a bear right outside the South entrance on the core trail right after dark.

Very easy to check-in and able to just enjoy the amenities while visiting steamboat.

Loved the pet friendly aspect! Young woman working the desk during check in was super friendly.

Pretty standard property, nothing stands out. My wife said breakfast was just average w no eggs.

The ice machine did not work and the breakfast was minimalist bad. They did not even have butter for the bread. Will not stay there every again.

The property was clean but by the breakfast area it had a bad smell both days we were there.

Overall we had a great stay here, but when asking a couple of employees questions, they did not understand English. They should at the very least learn basic English to live in the US.

This staff seems like you were doing them a favor. Always in the back, never at the reception area. Breakfast Staff just hanging out in the dinning area speaking loudly to each other. Horrible place!

The customer service was great!

So sad the pool was broke!!!! The grandkids and us were very disappointed!! It looked like it had been busted for a while! With Memorial Day weekend you would think they would have tried to fix it! Plus no one told us ahead of time that it was closed!!!

Super comfy beds. It was quite and conveniently located. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was ok, just a bummer the pancake machinen wasn't working correctly. Otherwise, everything was great and the price was really reasonable.

Every thing is loud. Room 202 can hear people walking up down stairs, hear people loudly talking at the front desk.

Staff were super nice on site and if I had booked through them I wouldn’t have been locked on my stay. Ended up paying for a night I didn’t need. Book the hotel, just do it directly.

We came to ski and stayed just one night. The room was comfortable and the ski bus picked us up just outside the parking lot. The Inn allowed us to park in the morning and catch the bus even though it was too early to check in.

It's so loud

This location is a food desert. There are no restaurants in walking distance. If you don’t have a car the only transportation is a loop to the Gondola Transit Station. This is fine for skiing but service ends at 6:30 pm. From there you can transfer to the town line. You have to be careful not to miss the last bus not to get stranded. The staff was not helpful or friendly. The hot tub was dirty and not inviting. It might have seemed a good value but I should have spent more to stay at a more inviting location.

Quiet and clean

Breakfast wasn't anything special but coffee was great. The bus was super convenient. The beds were comfortable and great water pressure in the shower.

Pool and hot tub were small and overly chlorinated. One group of guys took over the hot tub especially with drinks and music and front desk said it was acceptable, unfortunately making it not family friendly. Breakfast was very low on food and coffee machine was dirty and coffee smelled like the machine was infected with something. Overall staff was friendly but wouldn't return to this hotel in the area.

Very nice staff. Seems like they rent rooms to workers. No daily cleaning of the room. Breakfast was tasteless…and stale. I wouldn’t stay here again. Common areas old fashioned.
