Cleanliness, style, rooms space, lay out, gym, everything Beds were hard. Other than that it was perfect

I don’t know. I arrived in the middle of the night with a party of 6, including 2 kids and a toddler. I was told there were no rooms. My sister booked hers through the bonvoy app and there was no room for her either. Our reservations were cancelled because the new hotel system overbooked the rooms so we had to wander in the night to find another hotel. That it was overbooked.

Did hear road traffic on the highway side of the hotel. Did not interfere with sleeping. For some it was like white noise.

Many good restaurants, stores and conveniences. Newer facility. Nice staff. Special shout out to Brenda who ran the breakfast buffet. She was very pleasant and accommodating ie. cleaning our table upon request (with a smile), offered all the tables water and any assistance we needed, helping with a complicated toaster and keeping the buffet well supplied (all while working alone due to a call off!). Would definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

Breakfast was excellent! The food was fresh, plentiful, and with plenty of options for three very different picky eaters. The breakfast staff was pro-active and courteous and kept the breakfast area spotless.

It was as expected for a Fairfield Inn. Sometimes that’s what you want

Room was okay but beds were not comfortable and breakfast was very low standard considering it’s a Marriott hotel.

Two hour room check in process due to heating system issues. First room we were told would take 1 1/2 hours to fix, moved to a second room and a high pitch whistle noise came from heater which we were told was due to leaking air.

Everything was good when I stayed in Fairfield Inn & Suites Staunton, the room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, when I checked in, the front desk staff rolled his eyes at me, made me feel not very welcomed.

When we checked in we found our room microwave did not work and the TV in the sitting area did not work. We reported this to the desk clerk. When we returned to our room the next evening, nothing had been corrected. Also on the second day, our room coffee had not been refilled. While the mattress may be a personal preference, it was the worst mattress I have ever slept on. I had terrible back pain on both mornings. (Room 318)

Our stay at The Fairfield was nice. We have stayed here before and the hotel is still clean and well maintained. It’s close too many restaurants and shops. It’s also right off the interstate. Great choice if you are in this area.

Loved the outside patio area with fire ring. Very nice and relaxing. Gym good for hotel. Pool clean, but on the small side. Quiet clean room, didn't get woken up once with noise. Had everything you want! Breakfast ok, had waffle maker, eggs, cereal, breads some fruit, alternating bacon and sausage, and prepackaged biscuit sandwiches. All in all, very nice.

The mini fridge was missing a shelf and the property normally offers cookies in the evening but hasn’t been because the machine is broken. It seems like they are letting things slowly fall into disrepair.

Property is a little older, but everything WORKS! Electric car feed works, all the outlets work, mini fridge is cold, etc. I so appreciate that everything is kept well!

Great experience here two times. Friendly staff, top-notch stay. Food for breakfast very nice also. Will always stay here when I visit Staunton.

The only small annoyance, which I told the staff and they probably took care of it, was that the trashcan as you got off the elevator onto the third floor, was overflowing when we got there Saturday evening and still was unattended when we were leaving Sunday morning. Overall, I’ll go back here when I stay in the area.

The bar was not open 2nd year in a row. Shouldn’t matter that it was a holiday week. Should be staffed at all times. No water in rooms.

The wall of shower was covered with someone else long dark hair. We are seniors and are gray so no way it was from us. The toilet wouldn't always fill with water so we had to remove tank cover to get water flowing. We had been traveling all day and just wanted to get some rest and not call down to have a repair person show up some time later and disturb us. Lastly we got down to breakfast at 830. Breakfast ran to 9am but there was very little food. The woman running the breakfast was clear that there was no more food coming. The poor people that came after us, and there were quite a few. Very disappointed with facility.

it was close to what we wanted to do the stay was nice, and provided a wonderful breakfast each morning the only thing that happened was we did not receive housekeeping the second day , so we had to ask for towels

what i disliked was their bad service when they messed up my earliest reservation since we arrived there late from football game and those rooms were almost full even thought the early reservation came first service so they gave us queen size bed and sofa bed for which the sofa bed was sucked that made me uncomfortble sleep

Checking in was fine, although, out of the ordinary as the individual checking in denigrated my reservation method as I was checked in. When I arrived at my room I was met with a unclear notice on my door that my room would be subject to an “routine” annual animal search for pests which I could only deduce meant they would be looking for bed bugs. All I could think about was bed bugs. Why on earth would the guy check me into a room that was suspected, or that he knew would be searched by K9’s the next day. Not all doors had the notice. The pillows were overused and smelled. Not a great experience for a hotel that is one of the most expensive in this town.

When I rented the property---according to expedia---it was a smoking property---I rented the smoking king room only to find out it was a non smoking property when I arrived.

Beautiful hotel on outskirts of town. Large rooms. Excellent shower and facilities in the hotel. Everything looked new. Used the gym. Breakfast great variety and helpful staff Great base for our road trip. Remember Staunton only comes alive at weekends so disappointed in town with most closed on Monday and Tuesday

Everything about our stay was excellent. The only problem is that if you didn't have a car, you really couldn't go anywhere. But that's not the hotel's fault.

Comfortable room, good hot breakfast with both gluten free and dairy free selections, clean pool that wasn’t too cold, overall comfortable aesthetic. Will definitely stay here in the future!

I enjoyed my stay. I stayed at the same Fairfield last year and it is still a very well maintained and friendly. Rooms are comfortable. Rooms are updated, clean and bed is comfortable. Love having a refrigerator and microwave. I will be staying again when I am in the area.

We stayed there overnight to break up a long trip. It was very convenient to the highway and very quiet. The rooms were clean and the front desk staff were very helpful, with good suggestions for dining options. Would definitely stay there again.

They charged us $20 for nothing! We did not charge a single thing to our room. Where did the charge come from? We think that they just cheated us. Why??? Basically, a nice hotel with no security. ☹️☹️☹️

Shower floor dangerously slippery.

It's a really nice hotel. I especially liked the outdoor seating with nice benches/chairs and cushions. Even a nice stone wall to separate parking area. Nice touch! Unfortunately, our beds had some type of bug biting us at night. I didn't say anything about it and my daughter said she thought she got bit by something, and I told her I thought I did, too. We threw the covers off and just used the sheets and that seemed to help a lot.

Property was clean and well equipped. The “included breakfast” was so bad they shouldn’t even bother including it. Not even the basics like toast, but they had some gross “omelettes” and rubber egg and bacon sandwiches. Jo, the front desk attendant when I checked in was great, unfortunately I can’t say the same about the front desk staff the next morning. Was ignored for a few minutes while he looked at his computer. Overall the facility was great, but the staff and amenities need some work

This is a good hotel, but I don’t really get the high ratings. It’s okay. It’s what you would expect at this price point. But it is nothing special. If you want a clean room, just off the highway with all the basic things a hotel should have, then this hotel fits. If you’re looking for special, 9.4-type of special, then you will be disappointed.

Loved that they had two Tesla chargers so I could charge overnight without stopping at the supercharger.
