The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was newly refurbished. It had a beautiful swimming pool. The restaurant had very good food. The bar was very nice. We received a complementary made to order breakfast and it was conveniently located.

We stopped here late at night and were so glad for it. It was well lit, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were brand new and clean. The breakfast was made to order and a part of the cost of our stay. We didn't go into the pool but it was a very nice area. The whole hotel was updated and clean. The price was really good. Our kids liked it, too. If I was being picky, I would say the beds were too firm but we still all slept fine nonetheless. If you're traveling through and want a good but non overpriced place to stay, this is it.

I like that being handicap I got a room close to the door and the ice machine. The room was amazing. I had a king with a sofa and refrigerator microwave. Everything was spotless and perfect. The staff greeted me and really went above and beyond for anything I needed. The free breakfast was great in the morning before I left. I really just can’t say enough about this property.

I’m always nervous with a pet friendly hotel but this place was 1000% on point catering to our Pubp in every way. The room smelled so clean. He couldn’t even tell it was a pet room. There was an extra dog bed in doggy bowl. The front desk gave her a little girl a great bone and the room was very spacious. I would definitely go back again.

The hotel and staff were nice. I would recommend having a place to hang your towels after bathing. Maybe hooks on the back of the door. The breakfast setup was interesting. It seems like you have to purchase the beverages. The food we received was good. The beds were pretty hard and not too comfortable.

Loved the cleanliness and new remodeled look! Outdoor pool and fire pit were awesome. Was nice to have the small bar with food options on site which we utilized for a late dinner and some wine before turning in. Room was spacious and bed was extremely comfortable. Also is seconds off the highway, which was important to us since we were on a long trip and didn't want to waste time getting back on the road in the morning. Would highly recommend!

Quick overnight stay while traveling with our dog. The hotel is super dog friendly with various items in the room (dog bed, water bowl, etc) to ease your stay. There is a dog potty area but it is not the best due to lack of green space, otherwise, our pup approved of his stay. The room was clean as were the hallways. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful the multiple times we interacted. The breakfast to order was fine but it was a slower process if you are hoping for a quick meal before getting on the road. The hotel is still undergoing renovations and the outside pool area/seating, which looked very inviting, was closed for use. On that note, there was one security issue mentioned by others which has still not been repaired - an exterior entry door by the dog station. All exterior entry doors require a room key for access - this door is broken with wires hanging - it should be a priority fix as it leads directly to rooms.

Clean. Newly renovated. We have been staying at this property for years so it has been nice to see the renovations. No more continental breakfast on the go. Vouchers were given for breakfast which was great, but will be upsetting it that is only a promotion for a short time. Ordered dinner from the restaurant. Food was good but expensive for what it was. Hotel restaurant prices, which is of course expected. Ordered wings which were good, but came out naked with no sauce (not even in the side). Wish the order was more accurate for the price. Outside doors still do not lock in the back of the building which has been a huge negative in all of the years we have been staying at the property.

Cubby holes, hooks, minimalist design, spaces to put your items, fridge, tv. Dog bowl & bed, but we bring our own. The $200 authorization fee seemed excessive for an overnight stay at a select service hotel. Front desk agent at 11:30 at night who checked us in seemed combative about this charge when I questioned it. Her main explanation was the fear that we might smoke in their new remodeled rooms, was a bit sus. Also, the pet fee of $20 as listed on line was $25. She blamed the 3rd party booking for everything although it is the hotel's obligation to update information on line. She also blamed the recent change over suggesting I booked on a Ramada site , however I booked the room on Sunday on booking.com. Then she asked if I still wanted the room? What choice did we have after driving 5 hrs after work and having an injection in my knee that day. The room keys didn't work, so back to the front desk to find out the batteries were dead & change our room. Our room apparently wasn't inspected as there was crushed food under the couch cushions, the couch smelled horribly, the duvet had stains on it, the bathroom fan was loud, no conditioner in the container, and I fixed the clock as it was still an hour behind. The shower configuration leaves water all over the floor. And not even complimentary coffee in the lobby? Not very welcoming! Also, on line the breakfast said .10, not $10.0 0, obviously a typo.

The room was good, but the location of the room was iffy. The room was spacious and the beds were good. When I said that the location of the room was iffy, it was right by an exit door. the door would slam shut when closed. There were some contractor type people staying at the hotel when we were there. They start there day very early, around 5: 00am.The ice machine was also near our room. So we had the noise of both the ice machine and the slamming door at 5:00am. What really was terrible was the so called "complimentary breakfast". You get a menu with limited choices that had nothing I liked. Other hotels offer a buffet style breakfast which is much preferable. We will not be staying there anymore.

I booked Ramada. However, when I arrived at night I saw no Ramada signage, only a building that that looked to be in the middle of a remodel, which I found out was the case. It is no longer a Ramada, but some other hotel brand. Further, I was told there would only be a to-go bag for breakfast, so I left early in the morning prior to breakfast. On the plus side, after understanding the circumstances, the staff members were very nice and room was nice as well.

Traveling north from Florida we needed a room to rest for the night. We got there when it was already dark and when we approached the front of the hotel we thought it was closed. Looked like a construction site and it was in effect under renovation. No notice about that when we looked it up to make the reservation. Approached the front desk and the young lady assured me that the room was finished and clean. The area had tarps covering so you could not see anything. She also told us that the kitchen and lobby were closed. We would not have the breakfast but they would give us a bag with items for breakfast. Also to enter our room we had to go to the back of the building and enter through a small door and turn left to go to the room. We decided to stay because we were so tired. My husband is a diabetic and he needed rest. Drove to the back and encountered that half of the parking area was covered with furniture that had been taken out. The room was indeed clean but it did not looked finished. In the morning we sorted the maze of plastic and dust to find the “breakfast”. We grabbed the bags and left early. On or way home I would refer to those as glucose bags. Not one item from that bag was appropriate for a diabetic.

The hotel was under construction which was not posted on the reservation website. The WiFi reception was incredibly unreliable. I would get dropped the second I closed the door to my room. And even with Verizon, I could not get enough reception to load anything. They did not have a hot breakfast, but a bagged one. I will say the front office staff were lovely. My room was cleaned each day and towels and trash removed. I was originally booked on the second floor, but the elevators were not working. So, they moved me to the first floor. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but I was able to sleep well. The shower was good and warm, and the tub was deep enough for a good bath. At one point, I had to walk all the way around the bottom floor to get to my hotel room due to the construction. A minor inconvenience, but as I had just ran 33 miles that morning at lake Norman, it felt rather inconvenient at the moment. I would have booked another hotel had I known what I was walking into. But, no fault to the staff there. They were great.

The air conditioner in the room did not work, there were bugs in the bathroom. The hotel was undergoing renovation when I stayed and was quite noisy. People working there were very nice and it was conveniently off the highway that’s my reason for choosing this hotel. I usually have good luck staying at Ramada hotels but this was not the best Ramada I have been in by far. Hopefully will be better after renovation is complete.

We were traveling and stopped for one night. We had stayed at this property a year ago and had a good experience. I've given this hotel a 5-star rating since we have had good experiences twice and we will stay again when in the area. The hotel is undergoing major remodeling as of Nov. 2025, so there were a few inconveniences, but they are doing a nice job of updating the rooms. We were particularly impressed with the large, modern bathroom and the overall size of our room. The location is convenient to the highway. And the staff were all efficient and friendly!

I'd like to start off with the positive. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. However, to our dismay the Ramada was going through a renovation. When we first drove up, we thought it was closed. There was debrie everywhere from where the workers had been. Workers were on the roof welding the overhang. The back of the property was not much better where we had to get to our room on the second floor. The outside door was left open ( for the workers) and I was concerned it would be open all night. When we got back from dinner, much to our relief, the door was closed. The halls were filled with paint cans and some of the carpets had plastic drop cloths covering them. I did not get a good night sleep as I felt like we were the only ones in the building. The next morning we went for breakfast and there were more people in the dining area. A train rumbled by but fortunately it wasn't all night. I think they should have closed the place for the renovation. I'm sure it will be lovely once finished but for me I would not stay there again.

$200 deposit is taken at time of check in. The second night I called the front desk because a strobe light over the pool was flashing in our room, she told me to shut the curtain. Which, it obviously was. Her being so rude about it, I have a brain injury and it does cause seizures, made the staff feel totally unapproachable . Our drain didn’t drain, our shower only had a half glass so water got everywhere when you shower, such a fall risk. Laundry facilities weren’t working, game room was closed, AND construction workers entered my room while I was sleeping with the do not disturb sign on the door. When that happened I had enough and asked to check out early. I was told yes that night by the employee and by the manager. The following morning the lady tried to help me get my refund for over an hour, Expedia called and tried to help. The manager was unavailable and I was told she would call me. She never did. She refunded my money and then charged my card again!! With me already checked out. Upon further investigation of my account, they charged my card a total of four times and my 12 day stay at $82.00 a night turned into almost $4000. It’s fraud, plain and simple. When I went back in for my money they pretended like they never said they could refund my money. Horrible people.

We went to another hotel and tried to cancel but they are refusing. Hotels.com has said a refund is up to the hotel and as of today the hotel is saying they will not refund. I am out over $250 for the 2 rooms.

Room was fairly clean with new furniture and comfortable beds. Bathroom was a nice size and appointments were modern. Breakfast was good and there is a bar in the lobby. Location is convenient to interstates. The hotel is currently undergoing major repairs and upgrades to the exterior, but noise from construction wasn't an issue. Maids didn't service our room one day of the four nights we stayed. Our main complaint is that there was no place to hang clothes. No closet, and no area where there was even a rod to hang any clothing. We've never seen that in any hotel.

The property is under renovations. When I arrived I was not sure it was even open. Interior had a strange smell. On check in I was assigned Room 106. The hallway leading to the room had old carpeting that felt wet, the air was thick, humid and the hallway smelled like a Bombay Street fair. All I could smell was Indian food cooking. The room was like stepping back into the 1950's, old furniture cobbled together, arms on chair broken. Carpeting old and appeared damp. Where there was not carpeting the floor felt slippery, oily. Room was stuffy and smelled stale, dusty, chlorox'd. I went back to reception and complained. When I asked about the new rooms I had seen in online reviews, I was informed oh yes you are in one of the old rooms. I was then given Room 201 to which I gladly and rapidly moved. Other than a coat of paint (sloppily done) it was the same old broken furniture, 1950's vibe and poorly positioned windows. Shower had not been cleaned properly and room still had some Indian cooking carry over from the floor below. The bed was comfortable and I did sleep well. However, my advice, look elsewhere.

It was a comfortable sleep, bed was very comfortable. There is still renovating going on around the outside of the building so didn't look like much but the inside was much better and clean.

The outside is in shambles due to renovations and we thought it was closed. The lobby is nice as well as the staff lady. Breakfast was a nice variety and filling. The coffe was actually good. There is no elevator and everything had to be carried up. The “coffee station” is in the bathroom. The shower has only 1/2 closure. Water was all over the floor. There is no closet. There is a 3” gap under the door - stuffed a towel in it. I’ll remember to stay elsewhere next time I’m in town.

It would be nice if Expedia knew when a property was renovating. The lobby was nice. But the room was an older one and it was musty. Had a cricket which kept us up all night, and was just old and shabby. One of the lamps didn’t work. The hallway was not air conditioned. The fridge made an awful hum and the A/C kept turning on and off in its cycle and it didn’t really cool the room. Also there were bullet holes in our window. Also the entire outside was being renovated.

Nice building going through an external remodeling. The work did not impact my sleeping or use of the building. The only thing that wasn't great was the firmness of the mattress. I like a softer mattress and the bed was on the very firm side.

Not so good at check in. They didn’t show my reservation in there system. I showed them my Hotel.com confirmation number and after arguing and calling a manager the gave me a room in the wing of the hotel that was under construction. Noise was terrible and room not totally clean.

Our room was very large and comfortable, and everything was very clean. The staff was pleasant and there was a hot breakfast in the morning (with limited items such as eggs, sausage, and waffles). The bed was comfortable as well. The only negative was that the room doors slammed very loudly and echoed in our room every time someone would go in and out of their room in our hallway.

The hotel was clean. However we did not appreciate dogs that were in the hotel barking at 6am in the morning. And the only thing good about the full continental service was the orange juice. Plus why is there microwaves in your rooms but you can not take anything from the cafeteria to your room and there's a sign that says "no food allowed in rooms"
