My whole stay was excellent -

Loved this place and pleased with the price. Well maintained and clean. We are a family of 5 and the option of two queens AND a sleeper sofa meant we slept a lot more comfortably. To find that option at such a good price was a real win.

This property was an absolute joy to visit. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, and the pool was cold. Highly recommended this property to any who would be willing to try it out.

Close to food options, clean pool Bed was super hard and uncomfortable, thin walls you can hear everything from outside. Not much to choose from with breakfast.

I liked the ease with entering and leaving the hotel at any time of day. I did not realise that there was not a Restaurant, however Staff directed me to a neighbouring new Restaurant, which I used each evening.

It’s a great motel for the money. There were some things not clean in our room….and I think something was wrong with our ac unit but overall it was fine and has been renovated. Our room definitely needed the floors vacuumed and the tub rinsed out. But really you can’t beat the price it was 202 for 2 nights no bugs whatsoever and it’s renovated. It served the purpose

Convenient Clean and spacious room Property was very good. Comfortable room. I have stayed there on several occasions. My check in was NOT good. Though I had booked the room several days in advance on my arrival there seemed to be several questions about what kind of a room I wanted and what was available. It started out pleasantly, and for some reason, took an inordinate amount of time to check me in though there was no one else at the time checking in. I had just driven for 12 hours from South Florida and and became a bit impatient. I politely asked, “I’ve been driving for the past 12 hours. I’m very tired. Could we just get me checked in please?” The young lady at the desk was polite and pleasant, but the older man snapped at me and in a most unpleasant and confrontational way. He said, “we’re getting you checked in so Don’t Get Me Started!” I was stunned to be spoken to in that manner by anyone let alone someone in a hospitality position. And I was concerned by what he may have meant about getting him “started”. He flipped the paper at me to sign and handed me the room key. This Incident took place Saturday May 16 at approximately 8 PM. The rest of my stay, as usual, was fine. Quite frankly, I will be concerned about staying at the best Western in Statesville again.

Breakfast was very good No elevator and we were on the second floor. Had to use outside staircase and had to carry heavy suitcases. Also, towels were very thin. Room was dark with heavy orange colour on the walls. Television was on a setting that had an auditory problem. It yelled instructions at us everytime we touched the remote.

It was a good place to sleep for the night, parking lot was very well lit and the beds were comfortable. Room could use a little TLC, but nothing crazy!

The facility was dated and the breakfast was not very appealing. Heating/ cooling system was difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature. It was either too hot or too cool. Did not like that you had to walk outside to the rooms. Seemed overpriced compared to other Best Western’s we have stayed out especially considering how dated it was. The facility was dated. Air conditioning worked very well. A clean grassy place to walk my dog and very welcoming to my dog as well. The nearby lotions for dinner were very good. The stay was a welcoming retreat from a long day traveling north. It was a very big surprise bargain $. Highly recommend.

Everthing was fine. We enjoyed staying here.l They ran out of alot of food items on the breakfast buffet. arrived at 6 :40 , started at 6:30 , already out of eggs and other items. What they had was good. When asked about the eggs , we were told they are waiting on the truck delivery.

I was going for a hotel right off the interstate and reasonable price. It is an old motel type of building, but it has been remodeled very nice. The bed and pillows were comfy. The front desk was helpful and personable. My husband was thrilled there was a tv channel list. Ice machine on my floor was broken. It happens. So I went up a floor.

The room was dirty, the bathroom had tons of water damage (so, probably lots of mold was painted over), the sheets were literally tattered on both beds, and they ran out of bedding for the pullout couch. One of the employees (I presume a cleaner/maid) used their keycards to walk into our room without knocking! I was sitting on the bed, stunned, and just looked at her as she said sorry and left. This was at 9 am, not past the checkout time!

After traveling 13 hours we opened our room and there was something all over the floor. It was late so I got a broom from the front desk and sweep my room. Took a shower although I now question was any of my room clean. 150 a night. No more

As others have reported, breakfast staff were a morning delight and breakfast was good. The person who checked us in was perhaps the rudest, most belligerently argumentative receptionist we ever have encountered.

Eggs were dry and seemed like they were sitting for a long time. Biscuits were wet on the bottom. Worker was sitting in another room and not giving the food area any attention. Very disappointed.

It was better than the ten previous times I had to stay there. Used to be watered down juice, eggs that were not fresh. I never left a tip in the past. Today I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good and fresh. I left a very good tip.keep up the good work

Great place along 77 for a stay over with our big Doodle. Only $25 pet fee! The room was recently renovated and seemed clean for a roadside stay over.

The room was nice. Updated the floors, no carpet ! Nice sink in bath..staff was very nice. Only complaint would be the noisy split unit. Every time it turned on it would wake me up. Kept us warm but sleep was not good. I would stay here again but would request a room that was checked for a fixed split.

The housekeepers are very nice but they yell and scream amongst each other, hollering from across the parking lot at one another. I understand that this is their place of work but your patrons are still sleeping, or working, or can’t be distracted by all the echoing and yelling. I’ve told them on two occasions to stop yelling, stop waking me up and they say “awwww sorry baby, we sorrry” and then do it again! I don’t appreciate being spoken to in that way but I Really don’t appreciate paying $100/night to be woken up every morning by your employees speaking so loudly to one another as if the whole building belongs to them. You. Have. Paying. Guests.

This was a great option on our trip home. It felt safe, was clean, breakfast was good, staff is friendly. I would recommend this hotel in this price range.

For the price point it was just right a little dated but again price point very clean. The front desk was very nice on check-in told me without even asking where I could find food get a towel. The pool was clean. They had a little nice gym very friendly. breakfast was good and hot.

We were in town for the Dixie horse auction and had our two puppies with us and the day was perfect. The room was incredible and huge more than what we needed for a great price will definitely be back next year for the horse auction again.

This hotel was definitely somewhere. I traditionally would never stay, but from this expense, I will never stay at the best Western ever again the towels that were clean were stained, and the bedsheet had a burned hole in it and so needless to say, I did not use their towels, and I did not step foot in their shower because I wasn’t putting stained towels on my person. Very disgusting and under par for sure.

This hotel was definitely somewhere. Was surprised I had to pay $25 for my small dog when they say pet friendly if there is fee they should tell you the cost when you book. Not everybody charges you to have it pet.

No early check in available. Place was clean, quiet and well stocked. Oh, and very spacious for a motel type situation. I would definitely stay again, didn't like 200$ hold for smoking which was really crazy cause the room rate wasn't 200$

Also, the A/C unit in our room kept making a loud creaking sound. It was keeping us awake so I called the front desk. They moved us next door but the door didn’t have a deadbolt lock. I was told there were no more rooms available but actually saw empty rooms. The area is in a bad part of town and there was a drug bust across the street. We didn’t get any sleep and felt very uncomfortable.

This best western is very clean and very accessible from the interstate. I was greeted very well and in a positive way as soon as I went in the door and she was very professional. The facility is very clean. The breakfast was just OK, there were lots of options, the eggs weren’t so delicious but everything else was fantastic. Great place to sleep!!!!! Beautiful room!!!!!

My biggest complaint is the breakfast food and drink. It looks awful and the orange juice is so diluted, it’s mostly water. $123.00 deserves decent orange juice!!’

I did not get any sleep for two nights due to the many people stood out side my door to smoke because there is only one cement looking ash tray for the entire second floor balcony level. My room smell like smoke whenever anyone smoked because of the large gap at the bottom of the room door. Also, do not go to breakfast at 6:00 am. because staffer will not put out the food until they see someone is there. Had to wait for staffer to set up food stations. Only things ready was the coffee and the waffle batter which I do not like waffles. Lastly, If you want to sleep until 11:00 am the cleaning staff make sure you can not by rolling the carts up and down the cement walkway, and slamming doors to the rooms they just cleaned. Can not wait to go home to get some sleep!

It would’ve been a great stay, but I accidentally booked a smoking room and when I realized - there was no more nonsmoking rooms like the one I booked. It was a horrible night because it smelled so bad. Other than that - it would’ve been a great stay.

Amazing staff

Was located in what looked to be a safe neighborhood. Plenty of lawn space to pot my dog and very pleasant staff. If our route is the same in the future we will stay there again

Rooms were nice and up to date! I was a little disappointed with the cleanliness. The room floors were dirty and I know this because my son spilled water in the floor and when I went to clean it up the white towel was brown from the dirt. When we pulled out the couch we found other peoples belongings. The breakfast wasn’t that great. Very small selection.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out for 3 adults and 2 children. Every spring and support bar could be felt in the pull out mattress. Uncomfortable as hell. Air conditioner kept going on and off but did not seem to cool the room well at all. Would not book there again.

The pictures looked great but this property is definitely a no go. The room was dirty as was the shower. The towels, pillows and sheets were terrible. The breakfast was the only ok spot. Very friendly service there! Coffee was also not good.

Tub drain blocked, ac unit had mold spores all over, towels looked like they were used for rags, room had a weird smell and you have to lug your bags upstairs, no elevator.

Decent room, nothing around hotel

On the day I checked in was a problem I couldn't get the room all of a sudden. Now I made the reservation on Friday 19th and stay one night. Well I was told that my license says NC and I was not outside the radius of the hotel area. I would have to pay $200.dollar deposit to stay plus $180. Dollars for the room. Now that's crazy I told the lady I live in Georgia and gave me a stupid story about what the address says on my license. Which I stayed there two weeks ago on April 6th and had no problems and drove that long ride not to get to stay now that put me in a bine!!! But I was able to get a room somewhere else what made me angry 😡 I was not told this when I called and made the reservation plus I'm already in the system at the hotel and they need to let people know in advance before they take any reservations!!!!! Not to pleased with this hotel policy!!!!!

The staff was very pleasant & accommodating..rooms were nice & clean with extra beds for a family..it was an overall great stay!

wasnt told it was multi-story with no elevators. rooms open to outside hotel, not interior of building. breakfast area could not accomadate number of guests. they ran out of forks and did not refill them during the half hour we were there for breakfast. hauling suitcases up steps is hard for us older folks

Very courteous at the front desk!

Arrived with confirmed &paid reservation. Some issue about Hotels.com not paying the hotel. Multiple attempts to resolve through hotels.com were complete waste of time. Clerk made us pay for room again. Had to wait next morning for manager to fix. He did so fairly quickly, but lost an hour of travel time waiting till he came in. TV remote didn’t work. Breakfast eggs & sausage lacked flavor. Flavor of orange juice was off. Otherwise all OK.

Pre registration was online so easy checkin

Handicap units were the furthist from the convenience facilities. The desk staffwas hard to understand.

They put a $200 hold on your card for booking with Expedia.

Check in was easy and we were told of an excellent place to get food…Mama’s. Also, the employee who worked the breakfast area was very friendly. Brought more biscuits and was very on top of things👍

The associate who checked us in was very professional, thorough and helpful.

I have stayed at this property many times before and I will definitely stay again. There has never been any issues with the cleanliness of the room. However, this time the bathroom is very very dirty upon check-in, the issues was quickly resolved.

We liked the property set up. Breakfast was ok. The room was not very clean. Floor in bathroom was dirty and something was spilled on the wall by the door. The heater/air conditioning unit was so loud. It was fine for the price, though.

Staff was the greatest very clean and beds were comfortable, the tenants were the problem where a guy puked from up above almost hitting my wife and on my car. The staff was highly frustrated and went above and beyond to accommodate us with the situation. Don't let this incident deter anyone from going there.

Not a fan of this place and don’t recommend to others. But to each their own! Another thing to add… the bathroom was not clean to a high standard. Hair, bugs on the floor. I expect any hotel room to have been well cleaned before a new guest arrives. Bless to better in the future!

Beyond what I expected! Property is amazing, updated room and bathroom. Very quiet motel. Would highly recommend this place for all Hotel and Motel adventures.

The room was a no frills but had the necessary items and that made it easy to see that it was clean. The breakfasts were very good and the staff most accommodating.
