It was clean. Staff was friendly. Trash can was not emptied. Hair conditioner was empty. Smoking area was right at the front door. Toilet paper was about empty on roll.

The stay was nice for the price, but my roommate mentioned the bathtub wasn’t clean.

Did no use this service.

The dishwasher kept beeping. We couldn’t figure out how to make it stop. It seemed to be a little older facility, but it was clean and comfortable.

2 Bedroom Suite was large enough for my family to spend the night. Hotel list it has an outdoor pool but the pool was drained and looks to have not been used in a long time. Breakfast was small with limited seating.
- 5/5
The breakfast was pretty standard as far as hotels go. There is a lot in the are though, shopping, food, coffee. It was a great stay and we’ll definitely stay again in the future

Very professional staff, clean room. I called the desk to report my television wasn't working and a new one was installed the next morning.
- 5/5
The front desk person greeted me with the biggest smile, very welcoming. The room was clean & comfortable & quiet. I'll be visiting the area again & will definitely book at this property again.
- 5/5
Our stay was flawless, clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
- 4/5
The room of the decent. I had to go all the way to the lobby for ice. Otherwise it was a good stay.
- 5/5
The compact kitchen was great. Fridge, microwave, oven/ stove (not used), dishwasher, glasses, mugs, big and small plates, bowls, silverware, 2 small sharp knives, and misc items were all great! I also thought it was cool that they showed they will lend out things like blenders, rice cookers, slow cookers, grill tools, etc etc! Outdoor pool looked nice (not huge), though we didn't have time or energy to use it. No shade, except several small umbrellas that could be used. The gym was clean, had free weights and machines (elliptical trainer, treadmill, bike, etc), small...but, adequate for a hotel gym. Sunday ~9:15am, no one else was in the gym. Quiet room, no road noise (unlike another recent hotel). Host that checked us in was great! Extremely friendly, and definitely in the right job! 😉 Our stay was brief, but restorative and exactly what we hoped for! Thank you!

Love the convenience. Enjoyed the pool. Our bed was not as comfortable as previous stays. This is the third time staying there. I would do it again without a doubt.

Housekeeping staff walked in without knocking, then they lied to their supervisor and said that they did knock.
- 4/5
The property was okay. The stay was fine. Breakfast area is a little small so if the hotel is booked difficult to be able to sit down and eat, with the limited space. Also, the parking lot is very dark. While traveling with children it’s not ideal to have to walk inside from your car in the pitch black.
- 5/5
For the duration of our stay, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly and made us feel at home for the 4 days we stayed here. They truly understand the meaning of hospitality which is sometimes a rare gem during my travels. Each morning, the breakfast was hot and bountiful with lots of options. My little one jumped up every morning to go to breakfast. The area was clean and monitored. They even had vegetarian sausage one morning which was a delight for our Aunt who is Pescatarian. I would suggest to add the vegetarian sausage more often to the menu. To my surprise, my room was turned everyday despite the choice provided at check in was every other day. It was great coming back in with fresh towels, empited garbage and properly made beds (we tried to make our beds before leaving for the day). The next best thing was the laundry facilities. To a mom this is a great amenity because I prefer to leave with fresh, clean clothes. The lobby is bright and welcoming. I enjoyed a brownie each evening when I came in. Also at check in I got a welcome bag of water and chocolate!!!! I am not even a rewards member and felt like royalty!!!! The area is situated in a very active area with restaurants, grocery stores, and lots of shops.

great place for a sleep and shower overnighter on the way down xouth
- 3/5
Check in was extremely frustrating because the front desk person over charged us. We asked for an extended stay that was approved. Only to be woken up by banging on the door . Which resulted in the front desk person not relying the message to the am staff. We were charged 100.00 for grease stains on the pillows . You will reap what you sow for stealing people money . And not to mention the manager from won’t return calls .
- 4/5
I’ve been staying here on every trip to visit my marine son for three years. The staff is exceptional and went to great lengths to return a forgotten backpack. Our two bedroom suite was very comfortable. The only drawback is some noise from the nearby road but it is quieter at night.
- 5/5
Was very clean, convemient location, pleasant personel. Good ammentaties. SAFE.
- 4/5
Clean, easy to wash soccer uniforms, good breakfast and coffee
- 5/5
Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms are clean. We would stay again.
- 1/5
We were charged $100 for apparent blood stain on the linens. We are healthy and over decades of hotel stays, have never encountered this. Incredible!
- 2/5
Half the dishes were missing and ac/heat was loid and inaccurate. Fron desk was very nice. Elevator broke down. Had to walk up and down 3 flights with my hannicaped family member.
- 5/5
The cost to charge electric vehicle is very high. No where does it show price. Not fair. It is terrible. Shame on them for price hikes. I will not stay there ever again.
- 5/5
Staff very helpful well lite parking and very clean and spacious room
- 3/5
The room is way overpriced! There is other hotels in that area that are more spacious and affordable, with rooms just as nice. The room was clean and staff was nice.
- 2/5
They dont tell you about the extra fees until you get there which they say you get back but you dont
- 5/5
It was great for a quick overnight stay
- 5/5
Very clean suite!
- 2/5
For a hotel with such great reviews when I was booking my trip, I was disappointed on arrival to find how unaccommodating the staff were. The breakfast options were basic which was expected, however it was obvious from day one that the usual condiments like salt and pepper packets were inadequate. In addition, the staff present did not speak English enough to understand what was being asked when asked for these items. I found the property to be clean, both inside and out. The swimming pool is located in the front, visible from the parking area and main entrance, which I found could be more welcoming if there were more privacy provided. Also, for some reason the hotel wrongly charged me an extra $100 for dirty linens after I checked out. I had housekeeping inside the suite each of my 5 day stay during which time the suite was straightened up reusing the same linens without any visible signs of damage. Yet somehow, even though I physically walked through a final time to make sure everything was inorder before checking out, as I have always done over the past twenty plus years of vacationing, I ended up with the unjust and ridiculous charge for dirty linens of all things. I initially chose this location because of its convenience to family but I regret this decision now.
- 5/5
Wonderful safe clean little nook for my family. Array of breakfast options including lactose or gluten free.
- 5/5
Had an enjoyable time with Family Friends.
- 5/5
The staff were fantastic! I was so impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. In a culture of phones and poor work habits, it was a breath of fresh air to have people who were dedicated to their jobs. The rooms were excellent and so was the breakfast
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and liked the bedrooms being separate
- 4/5
Husband and I stayed 4 nights. Room was clean, and the staff was wonderful. Had a good selection of breakfast foods downstairs. The pool was small but perfect for sunbathing a couple hours. The only complaint I have is the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
- 3/5
My room was fine. The entryway and breakfast area were very loud. They could use some sound proofing. Luckily my room was mostly quiet despite how loud it was in the hall.
- 3/5
On hotels.com it said there would be a $25 pet fee. It was actually $40. The staff after seeing we had booked through hotels.com told us its our own fault for using a 3rd party to book hotels. We were given a room that had a view of the garbage dumpster.
- 5/5
Loved everything. Room was clean pillows and bed so comfortable I slept like a baby. Adam at check in was great. Breakfast was good, oj not so good. My only complaint. Highly recommend staying here.
- 5/5
I did not like that the bathroom door entrance is right next to the bed and there is no exhaust fan - a little too personal. The door should be at the front door entrance for more privacy. Decent full breakfast until 10:00 AM weekend, 9:00 AM week days. The coffee stays out but the 1/2 and milk disappear but substitutes stay out.
- 5/5
The desk person who checked us in was excellent . I explained our needs for a quiet room in the hotel and he accommodated us . Thank you !
- 5/5
Great access to I-95
- 3/5
It was okay room. It just was small and the bed was kinda small (it was a queen maybe but just felt cramped). Also my boyfriend and I were both sneezing crazy in there. We closed the bathroom door while taking a shower and would both sneeze each time. When we left the door open we didn’t sneeze so idk what that was about: but overall okay probably will not come back though.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. I am not sure how new it is but it's really nice and in new condition. Beds were super comfy with soft mattresses. If you like a firm mattress you may not like them. Breakfast was good and they had lots of choices. A great two night stay.
- 2/5
Even though listed as non smoking the room smelled like old stale smoke. A room down the hall had a bag of trash outside when I checked in at 7pm, still there at 8am the next morning. An employee literally walked past it. Dog friendly, but the dog area is a very steep hill designated behind the hotel. For people with a service animal not accommodating.
- 4/5
One night stay while passing through area...met all of our expectations
- 5/5
we always stay here when we visit family onboard MCB Quantico. The upgrades are excellent, we also enjoyed the upgraded breakfast selections from our last stay.
- 5/5
It was awesome!
- 5/5
The room was clean, we had a good experience at this hotel!
- 5/5
Very nice.
- 4/5
The free breakfast had many good options. Hotel was clean. Only issue was the light in our bathroom was so dim you could barely see while you showered.
- 4/5
The room was clean. Remote controls for the two rooms didn't work. Only one bathroom in the 2 bedroom suite. Good location. A number of restaurants are a close drive near the hotel. The hotel breakfast was good.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Front desk representatives were courteous during check in and check out
- 5/5
This was a very pleasant stay. The accomodations, friendliness, room cleaning, and amenities were great. The only drawback was that the breakfast eating area was too little.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was friendly & very helpful. Location was perfect. Nice Italian restaurant right across the street.
- 5/5
All great
- 4/5
Good, checked in 30 min early. Room clean but TV didn't work. Front desk said no maintenance person available. Missing HMDI cord. I went to Walmart and bought one. Breakfast was ok. Missing fruit, yogurt, sausage, forks. Otherwise fine. Unit in bedroom is very loud (screeching) something is loose or broken. Woke us up everytime heat came on. I would have to think somebody has complained before. Overall hotel is clean, staff is polite. I would stay again.
- 4/5
Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were spacious. Easy checkout.
- 4/5
Rooms are in need of at least a deep cleaning and disinfecting, in addition to a renovation
- 2/5
Ok in a pinch
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. No issues at all. Clean, comfortable, quiet and restaurants in the area.
- 3/5
I've stayed at this property before. The pros are that the beds are comfy, the rooms are spacious, and the shower has good pressure. Also, the breakfast is decent. This most recent stay was a disappointment. The hotel was dirty. The elevator was filthy (dead bugs and food on the floor, the walls had something smeared on them) and there was some trash in the hallway. I do travel with my dogs, so I paid extra to have them stay with me. This time, the room I was given was SMELLY. It reeked of dirty dog. If I hadn't arrived later than expected, I would have requested a new room, because the smell was that bad. I'm honestly not sure how someone could have cleaned that room and not addressed the smell. I'm thinking it needs to be fumigated and until then, that room should not be given out to anyone. Yuck.
- 3/5
Shower had crack in it. Furniture clearly worn
- 5/5
Front desk manager was ver attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
- 4/5
Visiting family aboard MCB Quantico. Hotel is convenient, short commute to Quantico main gate. Only issue experienced was that room was not cleaned after first night. Came home Thursday PM to find trash not emptied, beds not made, no clean towels. Wife called front desk asking about issue was told “ your room was not on the list” and if she wanted clean towels she would have to come down and get them. Never experienced this before at this hotel and is one of the reasons that we have used this hotel a number of times
- 4/5
Nice place for stay with Family
- 3/5
Loved the room, but the food was terrible, microwave Jimmy Dean egg & sausage biscuits. All had sausage so I couldn't eat it. Bin marked waffles had no waffles, just more plastic wrapped biscuits. Several days all the coffee was cold and you'd have to ask for hot coffee.
- 4/5
only issue we encountered, my wife had left behind a small cosmetic bag in one of the bath room drawers. She didn't discover the bag was missing until we where unpacking. As soon as she discovered it was missing she called the hotel to see if it was turned into lost and found by housekeeping (who would have found it when cleaning the room after we checked out). The person she talked to was very dismissive, saying they couldn't check the room as someone else was in it. She understood that, she just wanted to know if housekeeping found it. It's not a big deal, she can replace everything for around $100, she was hoping we could swing back in Sunday morning to pick it up if it was found (we where staying aboard MCB Quantico). She even called back to recheck Sunday morning and was given pretty much the same answer.
- 4/5
a regular roadside motel. Not much service but nothing bad to report.
- 5/5
Was a great place to relax in the evening. They have board games and cards you can borrow along with a small kitchen you can cook and enjoy company.
- 2/5
V. Disappointing. We had a one bedroom suite for my daughter and me. The sofa bed was disgusting. Stained, full of food crumbs and dipped like it was 100 years old. We waited at check in for about 15 mins until I finally got a cleaning staff to get someone to help us. We could not turn the heater on as it was inches from the bed, sounded like a jet and the air coming out stunk super bad. Overall, it was a pretty bad stay. Never again.
- 5/5
The 2 bedroom suite was very comfortable and clean. Excellent. Will stay there again.

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Quantico Stafford was a budget-friendly and safe stay! We couldn't even tell that it also happened to be pet-friendly, as it was spotless. Our pups had a great time. There was also plenty of hot water for showers for two people. Just remember to turn the dial all the way around. Thank you for a great stay!

The room smelled like mold
- 3/5
This hotel was close to out destination and provided the space that we needed during our stay. Upon check-in it was confusion about our room being ready even though it was almost 2 hours after the availability to check-in. The room was spacious but the furniture was dirty and I found a long hair in my bed when I went to get in it. It is a pet permitted hotel which I was unaware of and a small dog next door barked for hours on end when his people left. It was VERY annoying. The parking lot was very overcrowded with rv's and u-haul trucks taking 2 and 3 spots to park. Portable breakfast was available but not much variety but not bad. However, The front desk person was very considerate by offering a late check-out when we told her our daughter was sick.
- 2/5
Horrible chec-in experience, where we were given 3 rooms (one after the other) that were dirty and had not been cleaned. Same happened to several other people. Took about 3 hours waiting to finally get a room that had been cleaned. Staff were nice about it, however sure made the experience a nightmare with 4 kids. Also, even once we got the room, we found a dirty used face towel under the bed.
- 5/5
This place was very clean and the staff very friendly. I’m still a bit concerned with Covic even though I’m vaccinated but I felt very comfortable staying here.
- 5/5
The suites are very nicely set up and super economical with very awesome staff.
- 3/5
Close to work and other places I didn’t like that one of the staff kept my shoes I went back to go get but can’t find

This hotel was in the perfect location to take a break from our long trip. It was far enough from the highway that it was in a quiet location. The room was set up nicely and had a full kitchen. The bed in the bedroom was super comfy There were plenty of restaurants close by and a Target shopping center. The staff was very nice as well. I would have choose excellent in everything however my only suggestion would be to change the mattress on the sofa bed it was quite uncomfortable.
- 2/5
Area was nice
- 5/5
Beds are very comfortable. Great room. Good price.
- 3/5
In my first room, the toilet didn’t work. In the second, the garbage disposal was broken and the floors were sticky. Otherwise, it was an okay stay.
- 5/5
I was spending Christmas in your hotel with my daughter ! The staff was very pleasant and the check in was quick and easy! The room was spacious, clean , and beds were comfy! The appliances were nice and in good condition . My stay was very quiet as well ! This was my second time staying here and will not be my last! The best hotel hands down in the Stafford area
- 4/5
Staying at a hotel during Covid times is a bit nerve wracking, but this hotel did a good job with masks, cleanliness, and offering a bagged to go breakfast. The room was also very quiet and roomy. The only downside is that it was a bit shabby with worn carpeting and chair upholstery.
- 3/5
The service was outstanding but my room was stuffy even with the AC on. The room and AC units need updating.
- 4/5
Nice clean rooms, good location, pet friendly. Just an overnight stay, then back on the road.
- 5/5
This was the first time I've stayed in a pet-friendly hotel due to the fact I had my 60 lb lab with me and unfortunately this one has set a very high standard for all other pet-friendly hotels! It was clean, comfortable and in the perfect location off of 95. Both of the staff members I met at the front desk were cheerful and happy to chat and answer questions which is always appreciated. I will certainly be adding this to a list of tried and true stops for our road trips! If you're looking for a quiet, clean and welcoming place to stay and you happen to have a furry friend - TownePlace Suites in Stafford is THE perfect place to stop.
- 5/5
This hotel is a little gem! The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The pool was small but perfect. On our last day, we were expecting to swim but the pool was closed until noon. They let us check out an hour late and stay to swim, so it all worked out. Overall, a great experience!
- 5/5
Will remember this hotel if I’m traveling again. Being a pet friendly hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean, nice, comfortable and very quite.
